Mosquito Supper Club Chef Expands With New Restaurant Saint Claire | Eater New Orleans

"New Orleans’s first dog cafe opened at 4826 Magazine Street in Uptown under owner Barrett Cooper (who previously operated the atmospheric Double Dealer lounge at the Orpheum). The theme is ever-present: a bone-shaped door handle, a menu of dog treats, and hilarious AI-generated dog art hung at pooch level. There is also a human menu with a deep coffee program and doggy‑named bites like the Corgi Cobb salad and the Catahoula toast topped with blueberry compote, lemon ricotta, and mint. The dog- and family-friendly spot includes a shaded side patio and plans for an off-leash play area in the near future." - Beth D’Addono

We love Fur Bebé! Great location on Magazine. Family friendly. Amazing decor and ambience. Super friendly staff. And so much fun for the puppies. It’s nice to be able to walk with our pup to a neighborhood cafe. The cookies and breakfast sandwiches were great… and the puppy snacks were a hit. The cafe is big, with lots of sitting areas inside and out. WiFi available.

Great for dogs, and also nice for their humans. No more tying the pup outside to grab your morning coffee! We had two generous-sized sandwiches that were delicious, fresh, and didn’t feel like a splurge in terms of price. The interior design is fun and completely novel-like nothing I’ve ever seen. A friendly dog-loving staff tops it off. Good enough to be your “go to” neighborhood spot, fun enough to make a special trip if you’re not local.

Fur Bebe Cafe is a must with or without your pup. It is clean, the decor is creative and original, and the seating is comfortable. There is indoor and shaded outdoor seating. We had the bacon, egg, and cheese croissant—delish. It even came with a little side salad. The owner is very friendly, as are the staff. As a dog owner, Fur Bebe Cafe is a dream come true.

I adore this place! Wonderful staff, great service, and dog preferred! Stopped in to grab lunch and a treat for my little guy. He was in heaven and took in the cozy moment! Food was very fresh and great assortment! Can't wait to stop back in to try the rest of the menu and get more treats!

The place I’ve been WAITING for! Doubled as cute coffee shop and lil pet shop. The coffee was great. I loved the atmosphere, the music, and the people. My dog was very happy here. This will be my new go to.

Fur Bebe is the cutest little spot on Magazine! The vibe is so fun and welcoming—for both humans and pups. The drinks and treats are great, and the space is clean, cozy, and super dog-friendly. Every detail in the decor is so thoughtful and beyond cute—it feels like stepping into a little doggie dream world. My daughter had so much fun too—it’s such a sweet place for families to relax and enjoy time with their pets. A true neighborhood gem!!!

Phenomenal place to hang out with my pup and enjoy delicious lattes and matcha beverages. My favorite dish (so far) is the Tail Wagger. Will be back frequently!

I don't even have a dog, but I will definitely become a regular here! I stopped in the other day to get some treats for a friend's dog, thinking it was only a cute pet boutique, and was pleasantly surprised to find it was so much more! The service was friendly and sincere, and there is a great and fairly priced menu of not only coffee and tea (including matcha and chai) options but also smoothies, salads, sandwiches, loaded toasts, and even breakfast burritos. Vegetarian and gluten-free options, too. And - I loved this - paper straws and paper bags (less plastic and styrofoam for healthier world for both people and fur babies!). Thank you for making my day, and welcome to the neighborhood! Looking forward to the patio when the weather cools down.

Yelp
A nice place for humans and dogs alike - multiple rooms inside so there are plenty of places for humans to relax or work, and for dogs to curl up on a pillow. Good coffee.

Yelp
This place is so fun! I am so glad we have a dog cafe in the city. I was smiling the whole time being around so many happy furbabies, it really lifts your mood. But not only is the atmosphere uplifting and fun, the food is quite delicious. I had the Italian greyhound sandwich and took one bite and it was magic! I mentioned the sandwich to one of the workers giving out free tastings, and he said they make their own homemade pesto sauce. It was truly addictive. It comes with a side of chips which was a nice compliment and unexpected. The food and iced coffee I order came out quick and the place is packed today. The space is pretty large with indoor and outdoor seating throughout. The outdoor seating is not as hot as you'd think due to the giant oak tree and bright red umbrellas giving off so much shade. I loved the attention to detail throughout. The dog bone door knob, so cute! I want one. The bathroom had a doggie hook on the wall for purses and there is a doggie mirror on the floor, so fun! They're is plenty of water throughout for you and your fur baby. The staff were all friendly and happy too. Thanks for doing a great job with this space!

Yelp
Cute concept and set up to take your dog and have a meal. I didn't have a meal but only a pup and human copies with a drink. Not all baked goods are made in house. I love how the hallway pictures were low enough for my dog to look at. Cookie was good and my dog loved it. Next time I will try and actually get food but it just wasn't easy this time around since I was by myself with my dog. I would come back and I know my dog would love that too.

Yelp
Fur Bebe Cafe is a gem. This adorable coffee shop doubles as a pet store, offering everything your dog could need. With charming dog-themed décor and a warm, inviting atmosphere, it's the perfect place to grab a coffee with or without your dog. I ordered an Americano and the Beggin' Egg & Cheese, a croissant with bacon, egg, and cheese. Both were absolutely delicious Overall, Fur Bebe cafe is a must visit for humans and their dogs. I will be back to explore the menu!

Yelp
Very cute idea! Who doesn't love coffee, dogs, and treats? I tried a latte and got a treat for my dog. The latte was fine and the treat was 100% approved by my super picky dog. You have to walk all the way to the back to order. They sell coffees, human food, dog products, and homemade dog treats. It can be loud if dogs are barking! It looks like they are trying to have events on the weekend, I will return for those. Outside and inside seating. Street parking. There is a disabled ramp on the left side of the building (if you are looking at the building, it's on the left) if you need it (I didn't notice it until I was inside.)

Yelp
I just HAVE to update/add to my review, because... We have a super picky Dutchie, whom I have to cook fresh for daily (turkey, brown rice, green beans, carrots, and probiotics). Fur Bebe Cafe-who have my matching house sign "Dogs welcome, humans tolerated", made something my Dutch Shepherd not only ate, he devoured. So not only is this place an amazing restaurant and hangout for dogs AND humans, their food quality is as high caliber as their interior design. These are my people!

Yelp
My (very old) Labrador has been on restricted movement because of his arthritis and I have been struggling with getting him out of the house when it feels like 100° outside so the dog park isn't an option. Enter: Fur Bebe cafe! This adorable dog cafe has both an INDOOR and OUTDOOR area for dogs and their owners! My pup and I went this morning and spent a couple of hours in the air conditioned inside where he got to sit, sniff a few butts and generally observe all the other very nice dogs and their companions. I got to eat a tasty breakfast burrito, sip a delicious tea latte and catch up with a friend! All in all, a perfect morning! We will definitely be back and I look forward to exploring the outside area when the weather cools down!

Yelp
Super cute and welcoming. My dog and I had been once before and had a great time enjoying treats and exploring all the cool spaces. Went back this morning on our walk and he practically dragged me the last block when he figured out where we were going! Dog and human approved.

Yelp
What an ADORABLE place!! Although our kids are grown and we no longer have dogs, hubby and I were throughly entertained by a couple of cute 4 legged customers enjoying their time with their owners at Fur Bebe Cafe. The place is filled with canine treats, plush beds, photos, art and accessories (yes, even bone-shaped door handles). Totally dog friendly inside or out. Clever menu. We loved the avocado toast.

Yelp
The cutest little spot with all the adorable dogs! My new favorite in the city. And they do all kinds of events which was so lovely

Yelp
I had a very nice time at Fur Bebe. The coffee and food were both very good, the staff were all really friendly, and the overall vibe in the cafe was very nice. On the note of the ambiance being nice, though, I have the strong feeling the "artwork" inside the art gallery, as well as most of the promotional material, was generated with AI. I don't know how far down the rabbit hole goes, but I'm not entirely pleased with the idea. New Orleans is a city of artists. I feel as though, especially for a cafe that tries to be a community space, having genuine artwork and creativity put into it would not only elevate the experience of dining but also platform and support the local art scene - but as of right now the entire thing feels more corporate than it should. I understand that it's a local business and just starting out. I'm willing to give it time to grow. I hope, though, in the future, to see more genuine personality go into this business - for example, setting up partnerships with local artists (even at levels like high school). TLDR: Food and Drink both great -- I just wish the online presence and artwork felt as nice and human as the people I interact with inside. AI bad.

Yelp
Cool spot for dog lovers. Eclectic art. Good coffee. Friendly staff. Excellent location for coworking.

Yelp
Such a cute idea. Really cool building and I love the separate rooms. The lady at the register was super sweet. I had the avocado toast which was decent, but it could've been taken up a notch with some artisan bread and a thicker layer of avocado. The one thing that caught me off guard was my first impression walking up to the front door. The appearance was unkempt. There were weeds, plants in need of pruning, and the porch, steps, and table needed to swept/blown off. Not what I expected from a brand new place. It may be looking pretty bad in six months.

Yelp
I really wanted to love Fur Bébé. As a New Orleanian who appreciates quality, I had high hopes for this new spot. Sadly, this was one of the most underwhelming dining experiences I've had in a long time. Let's start with the food: for the price point, I expected at least something to impress. Instead, every dish we tried felt like style over substance--overcomplicated, poorly seasoned, and lacking balance. Presentation was trying too hard to be "modern chic" but came off cold and unappetizing. For a place that's clearly marketing itself, the execution just isn't there. I am going to continue my regular walks in the neighborhood with my dog - but, I will stick to my normal route.... this is not worth the hype. And, the coffee isn't great.
