"Scott Conant, a judge on Chopped, closed his Flatiron Italian restaurant Fusco. Opened in spring 2017, Fusco was his first independent NYC restaurant in nearly a decade, known for tomato basil spaghetti and other Italian dishes. It closed due to increasing operational costs such as rent, labor, and product." - Serena Dai

Decent Italian restaurant. Menu designed perfectly, selections are great. Chef's signature pasta tasted creamy and fresh, scallops seared beautifully with little crust outside and tender inside.

I am disappointed that I didn't photograph each and every course of the Chef's tasting menu that our large party all decided to indulge in as the presentation was second only to the taste or each course. We were met and sat immediately by a gracious host, allowed to settle in with INCREDIBLE cocktails and delicious wines by the glass without any rush. Our server, Gerald, took time to explain to our table all our choices including three prix fixe choices, and based upon the description and reputation, we chose Chef Conant's tasting menu. WOW. Other than having to apologize to staff and other diners who were amused and not annoyed at several of our party using expletives to describe the courses as they hit the table, the night was an incredible culinary journey. An amazing mix of meats, vegetables, seafood, grains and pastas, each dish was perfectly prepared and amazingly seasoned. While many tasting menus or prix fixe meals have me searching for a slice of pizza on the way home, as we walked out of Fusco, everyone in our party was stuffed and each remarked it was one of the best meals they had ever had. Grazie Mille Chef Conant, and the incredible staff at Fusco...we can't wait to try your new restaurant at Resorts World Catskills this spring!

Be sure to get reservations on a Friday night it can get busy. We had the past tasting menu which was a great tour of their pasta menu. I highly recommend the oxtail pasta. It was fantastic best of the 5 that we had.

We were really looking forward to this dinner. Zagart listed it as one of the NEW HOT restaurants with great food. We had an 8:30 reservation. We were not seated until 9:15. There was no place to stand. The bar was tiny and people were dining there. At 9pm we got a seat at the bar. The bartender did not have cucumber, grapefruit juice, and the lemons were not cut properly. At 9:15 he produced the drinks as we were being taken to the table. (At the hostess stand there were a bunch of unprofessional kids who kept looking the other way, as they did not know how to deal with the problem at hand.) The menu was limited. The service was beyond awful. They could not get the order correct. All they kept saying was "I am so sorry". The sommelier had a very bad attitude. The food came out cold and had to be sent back twice. Their signature dish.....pasta ragu (spaghetti with tomato sauce) was cold, and a joke. They had offered to buy us the first round of drinks at the bar..........which they put on the bill............and they conveniently forgot about........they had to be reminded. The dining room is a disappointment. It is tiny. Not at all like it looks in photos. Management was in Arizona. The restaurant gets a ZERO. Don't waste your evening.
