Several Noteworthy Food and Drink Events to Try in October in Nashville | Eater Nashville

"All October I can step into Wicked Brews Spookeasy at Gaylord Opryland, a pop-up speakeasy with a haunted, prohibition-era pub vibe and living ghostly artwork, sampling creepy cocktails and mysterious mocktails such as a smoky 'haunted forest' old fashioned with Knob Creek bourbon, maple, and rosemary, the gory 'slayer’s blood' with Cointreau, cinnamon whiskey, and blood orange, and alcohol-free wicked brews." - Eater

This was one of the best restaurant experiences I had on my trip to Nashville. The grilled chicken sandwich was a step above and the hot wings were well seasoned and super hot. I have allergies and I was treated with such care and compassion that I was confident that my food would not make me sick. The gluten free bun was good as well. Mixed drinks were delicious and helped make for a perfect night of relaxing.

We had the carne flatbread pizza and french fries. The pizza was very delicious. The French fries were well seasoned. Plenty of TV's to watch your favorite game

We decided to eat here between workshops because its right at the convention center and we figure they are used to groups and have good food options. The restaurant had many open tables around us and was not busy at all. We waited an HOUR AND A HALF for our food. Our waitress barely acknowledged us or checked on us. After that hour and a half and other groups coming in and getting their food and waiting on their checks, I finally got up and found the manager and explained we had no waitress and no food. Food finally came to our table but one of our group members never received their food (6 of us total) and the food bussers just ignored our request to find the missing food and to find our waitress. We never got a single apology from our waitress nor manager. We got 50% off and our missing friends food finally came when we finally were able to track someone to cash us out. Worst experience ever. Food was okay but not for the service or wait. My check was $20.85 at 50% off. I can’t believe I would have paid $40 plus dollars for a mediocre burger and mandatory service charge.

Great time. It's big and there was plenty of room. The food was good and everything came fast enough. I'd go back.

We were here for a conference and they’re able to accommodate three of us immediately. It was great. The service by Colton as exceptional. He kept the refills coming & had us in & out in good time for us to get back to our convention class. Thanks buddy! We’ll try to get back in your section before we leave town.

Wonderful group of friendly bartenders and a great variety of specialty cocktails. Food was hot and fresh as well. I’ll be back!

Honestly, we ended up there because our original choice had a long wait time and we needed dinner before catching the ICE show. When we arrived, we were told there would be a 50 minute wait, so we said we didn't have time. One of the hostesses then told us to wait for a sec and walked down the bar to see if there were 2 empty seats (which there were) and waved us over. Admittedly, after dealing with wait times, I was a little "hangrey", but what I had originally seen on the online menu was no longer being served, so needless to say....I was not in a good mood. I finally decided on the carne asada quesadilla and my husband got the burger, no pickles. The couple to the left of us (couple #1) had also ordered the carne quesadilla, and after we ordered, the couple to the right of us (couple #3) also ordered, including a burger (No lettuce and tomato) and something else that i didn't hear. A short while later, my quesadilla comes out and we figured his burger would be out soon. 10 minutes later, no burger ... but meanwhile, the couple to the right (#3 No lettuce no tomato) gets theirs (complete with lettuce and tomato) and a carne quesadilla. I notice the couple on the left still hasn't gotten anything and we are short the burger. So, I say something to our server, Colton, who apologizes profusely and reorders the burger. Then, the runner comes out with the burger AND a chicken flatbread. We take the burger and tell him the flatbread was a mistake. They leave it there anyway and couple#1 (just asade quesadilla) nibbles on it since it was a mistake and they still have not gotten their order. A few minutes later, another burger comes out....we had ours, couple on the right had theirs and couple on the left were just waiting patiently for their single quesadilla order. AGAIN......mistaken order and left for couple #1 to nibble on so they wouldn't wither away from lack of sustenance waiting for their simple quesadilla. Finally after almost 40 minutes of waiting, and filling up on "mistake orders" they did finally get their quesadilla. I will say, poor Colton was MORE than accommodating and tried his damndest to make things right for everyone, but apparently the runners were one seat off with each order. I got couple #1s quesadilla, (which explains why my husband's burger didn't come out.) Then #3 got our order ...with lettuce and tomatoes, but no pickle (and apparently she ordered the flatbread NOT the quesadilla, but just accepted it because she thought it was just a messup on their order) Then my husband got #3s burger when it came out (No lettuce no tomato) with their flatbread (which was left for #1. Then, the reordered burger for my husband) came out It was definitely a big mess up, but even through all that....Colton was MORE than present, accommodating and apologetic, and to be honest, the burger and the quesadilla were both phenomenal. I wasn't expecting much and there were a few mistakes on the runners part, but Colton's demeanor and the tasty food made us definitely want to go back. Plus, we has a great time chatting and getting a chuckle with the couple on the left over food mix ups.(we were hoping for some free alcohol mixup, but no such luck)

Food is normally decent just a bit pricey, food came out on a party of four undercooked. Don't go if you in a big hurry. Servers are Nice, but it took a little bit longer than I expected to get bill. Had a gift card, server got a bit confused about it. Is a bit dark, no noted non-alcoholic drink menu.

Yelp
Located inside the Grand Ole Opry Hotel, this is a great place to catch a game with lots of tv, tons of seating, and dedicated bar seating. If you're not staying at the resort, be prepared to pay a premium even for self-park. They take food allergies very seriously, the chef even came to our table to discuss and explain how they will ensure food safety. The chef has been diligently working on a solid menu. The offerings are small but everything was done really well. We had Zachary as a server and he was amazing. All the staff were great! I had a pineapple margarita, fried cheese, and the chicken bacon ranch flatbread. Everything was delicious!
google avatar

Erin R.

Yelp
Looks can be deceiving. While the food may look impressive on the plate doesn't mean it's correct or tasty. Dining with food allergies is difficult and takes a specific level of care. When the chef takes my order I expect it will come out correct. When it doesn't I've lost faith in your process. When 2 meals come out incorrect I'm on high alert. The DC 'character' dining was less than impressive and came off quite dull. Just a simple little routine or some superhero music would have added the perfect touch. Each superhero does have a theme song.... Our server was adequate but the manager was more concerned about justifying the actions of his staff than meeting my needs. If you have food allergies steer clear!! They really should have the character dining in an environment that should entertain kids, rather than blare football. Plus I wasn't presented with a check?? How is that ok!! Yes I booked with a card, but that doesn't mean I don't want to verify how my money is being spent. What if my server was amazing and I would have wanted to give them an extra tip. Instead of an Epic Adventure it was an Epic Fail.

Yelp
I was super excited to eat here as I had looked at the menu both online and in the Gaylord Opryland app and really loved the menu, but when we arrived and were seated, the menu we were handed was very different from what was posted. We were not impressed with this place: with the food or the service. The restaurant was fairly empty but it took the host about 10 minutes from making eye contact with us to stop talking to other workers and come to seat us. I also was driving an electric wheelchair/scooter due to an injury to my knees and she saw it as an inconvenience. By the time I took the ramp to the main restaurant floor she had already taken the steps up and was across the room and waiting at a table in the far corner that was not handicap accessible. She was very annoyed that I couldn't get to the table and then made me park. The wheelchair/scooter about 3 feet away and have other restaurant patrons and my husband help me walk to our table. The food and drinks were mediocre at best. To drink I started with the Makers Mule. The menu description of this drink talked about Strawberry twice. I asked our waitress before ordering if it had a strong flavor of strawberry, a strawberry cocktails are my favorite. She said it was. When it came to the table, there was absolutely no strawberry flavor at all. The main taste was the ginger beer, followed by a hint of makers mark. As appetizers, we did the tuna sashimi and the chicken and rice soup. The tuna sashimi was good, well the pieces I could eat. We let them know ahead of time that I am allergic to onions yet this was served on a giant bed of lettuce with large chunks of onions so there was only select pieces I could try that did not touch onions. The tuna was also extremely warm-almost the same temperature as the soup. The chicken and rice soup was very bland, but had large chunks of chicken. For my main, I did the fuse burger. I was sad when it came out to see the lack of used care when putting the burger together. The special sauce was just a dollop thrown on top of the bacon in the middle of the burger. I showed a server, but she said it would be an up charge for more sauce so I just have to use mayonnaise as I couldn't spread the sauce out as it was on the bacon more than the bread. The burger was not seasoned, but cooked thoroughly. The best thing on my plate was the fries which were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. If I ever return to the Opryland resort and convention center, I definitely will not be eating here again.

Yelp
While staying at the Opryland Resort you may visit Fuse to watch some football and have a drink. Bring your patience and enthusiasm. Service is very slow and orders may come out incorrect. We ate here two times during our stay and both times were the same. The staff is friendly but unfocused on what you are asking for or saying. Food is just okay. My salad was good and I enjoyed the toppings it had. The bar / restaurant itself is clean from what you can see. Food is very expensive so be prepared for a big bill in the end.

Yelp
From the waitress to the food. We had an excellent dining experience. The most memorable and notable aspect of the meal however was the desert. Oh have mercy! If you love chocolate decadence, there is a 3 chocolate special dessert with your name on it! Thank you Kendel for the recommendation and terrific service!

Yelp
I decided to grab an early dinner at Fuse one night during my recent stay. The restaurant tables were mostly empty, but the bar had a lively crowd already. I ordered the Steak Frites (21 day dry-aged 10 oz NY strip, fries, black peppercorn sauce | 38.00) but substituted their garlic & gruyere mashed potatoes for the fries. To my surprise, both the steak and mashed potatoes were incredibly bland. The black peppercorn sauce had a strange, overpowering vinegary flavor that made it undesirable to add to the steak in an effort to improve the taste. I'm giving three stars based solely on the good service I received from my waiter. My advice- stick to Fuse only as a bar option, not for food. Admittedly, I did not get a cocktail but the table next to me ordered refills on theirs so that probably counts for something.

Yelp
My daughter and I had lunch here today! Even though it's a sports bar it was super family friendly for lunch. Little one had the chicken tenders and fruit! They were great no issues. Perfect kids lunch I had the Signature Salad. It was a little overdressed for my taste but most definitely still edible. I loved the large bacon bites. We also had the queso dip which is yummyyy! Our server was kind and we had no issues with food coming out!

Yelp
The wings were fire! I asked for extra crispy and they delivered. Flavor on point. The blue cheese was delicious. This is a sports bar so the atmosphere is super casual. It wasn't too crowded. The tv sound is on which is different but it didn't disturb the vibe and it wasn't too loud. The drink was very nice. Good alcohol content and the flavor profile was nice. I might visit them again before I leave the resort. Shout out to Krystal, my service attendant, for her knowledge and awesome customer service!!!!

Yelp
While at the Gaylord Opryland Resort, I ate and drank here a few times, mostly drank. I always was in groups, from small groups of 4 to the first night in a group of 12. Regardless of the size of our party, service was great! The beer was cold! Absolutely loved spending time here! The one time i had food was to get some buffalo wings. They were flavorful with just the right amount of hot. Great experiences overall here!

Yelp
My coworker and I needed to grab a quick lunch before we started a very long day. We arrived just after the restaurant opened but found the restaurant wasn't quite ready to open. The hosts were kind and explained that they would be opening soon. About 10 minutes after their publicized open time we were seated. Our server was quick to visit the table and got our drinks. We enjoyed the complementary chips and salsa that came with my Marriott status. We both had salads with grilled salmon. I chose the Asian chop salad. All ingredients were very fresh and crisp. The food was good. The restaurant is very much a sports bar feel with lots of TVs. This is a good choice most anytime of day at the Gaylord.

Yelp
We went here on a Friday night. The service was horrible and I'm not sure why the place wasn't busy but we waited a very long time to even have a waiter come over and take our drink order so we went ahead and ordered our appetizer at the same time. The service was so bad that after our appetizer came out and we waited 20/30 minutes before the server even came over to take our dinner order. The redeeming qualities was the food. My favorite thing was the spinach dip. The drinks was very tasty The tomato soup and cheeseburger was both good.

Yelp
Currently staying at the Gaylord hotel for a sorority conference. Decided to have a few drinks and a snack before bed. I ordered a pineapple margarita and loaded fries. I received a strawberry margarita instead of the pineapple, still good, didn't even mention the mistake. The loaded fries (cheese, bacon, lettuce) took FOREVER! I was waiting for well over 30 minutes. The bartender informed me that the kitchen had been having issues all night. Once received I noticed the fries had a white cheese sauce I wasn't the biggest fan of. The bacon was delicious, thick cut maple style bacon. Overall edible but I wouldn't order again. Bartenders were friendly and attentive. I see myself returning before the weekend is over due to the convenience of this being located inside of my hotel and this being the establishment that stays open the latest on the grounds.

Yelp
The atmosphere is great lots of tvs all the games on. Service was fantastic, Amber was very friendly and efficient.

Mike V.

Yelp
Look, we read the sub-par reviews but went anyway. And yes it was a slow afternoon with no major sporting events on TV, but the service was fast enough, the food was delicious (melty grilled sandwich and hot chicken tenders were not bad) and the service was really prompt and friendly. This place is massive, and could easily accommodate a lot of conventioneers when there is a major event. My guess is some of these reviews are for when it was packed. To which all I can say is, "why were you surprised?" and "what was the rush!". Could easily camp out here for a few games on a Sunday, no question.

Yelp
My mother and I decided to come here for dinner after walking Broadway downtown Nashville. The bar/restaurant was in are hotel and the restaurant didn't close until twelve. We we're seated immediately by are pleasant waitress. We ordered a salad that came with Fried Chickpeas, Lemon Pepper Chicken Wings, and Honey Sriracha Wings. The chicken wings were the bomb!!! They were fried just right and the tasted very flavorful. I loved the salad because my mother and I never had Fried Chickpeas on a salad. What a wonderful touch on a salad and it was very fresh. The price wasn't that bad considering the raised prices in the hotel. The customer service was awesome!! Are waitress definitely had southern charm. The waitress was very charming, generous, and provided great customer service. The five stars is definitely for the customer service. My mother and I agreed that this was the best restaurant we ate at while in Nashville.

Yelp
Server didn't let us know about included gratuity. I left my notebook on the table after paying the check, left and came back 5 minutes later and they couldn't find it. I asked if they could check the trash and they said it was against their policy. The manager came out and said they wouldn't do that (throw it away) and I asked if they could check the trash and she said they are not allowed to. My conference meeting notes are now gone and I have a strong feeling they threw them away. Lousy drinks and food was meh. I told them I didn't care about food stains and just wanted the notes and she treated me like a Karen although I was very calm and polite about the whole situation.

Yelp
I went here with extended family and my husband and kids. Our server, Kate, was super friendly and helpful in answering all of our questions. The food was very good! My son did not care for his grilled cheese and they replaced his meal with a replacement. With no problem. We also ordered some adult beverages which were very good! I would recommend this place if you're staying at the Gaylord Opryland.

Yelp
Slow as molasses, waitress was clueless. Order messed up. Took forever to get refills

Yelp
Fuse is a big sports bar near the convention center that was pretty busy for lunch during my whole visit to the Gaylord Opryland. Luckily, eventhough they were pretty busy there wasn't a wait for a seat and the food came out very, very quickly. I'm a sucker for a soft pretzel appetizer and these hit the spot. They may have been a bit salty, but that's easy enough to brush off before eating them. I was excited to try a nice house salad, but this one was swimming in dressing. So much that I couldn't eat most of it as it was just too covered. From the parts that I ate, it was fresh, good, and had a great mix of ingredients. However, if I were going back, I would get the dressing on the side to be in better control of my destiny.

Yelp
Nice little sports bar. Espresso martini was bangin! We had a great casual lunch while watching the football game. It was perfect for what we needed that day.

Yelp
Table for 4 for dinner   We arrived at the Gaylord Resort on a Monday afternoon, eager to check out the holiday decorations, but we wanted to grab a bite first. We already knew there were a bunch of restaurants scattered around the property. We started searching on our phones, but it was a little challenging to find something that was open and something our differing taste buds could agree on. Eventually, we settled on Fuse, though locating the place turned out to be the next hurdle. After asking a few people and following a few signs, we finally tracked it down. Fuse is definitely a casual sports bar. We entered without a reservation and were seated immediately. The dining room was very big with TVs everywhere. Our server came by quickly for our drink order. I asked about the beer choices, and he advised they had a Hazy IPA from Bearded Iris Brewing called Homestyle. I ordered one and my youngest ordered one of the specialty drinks. Wifey and my oldest ordered the pink lemonade. The menu was not huge, and some family members were struggling to find something. We finally made our decisions by the time our server came over.  I went for the Chicken Quesadilla, Wifey chose BBQ wings with a side of fries, my oldest ordered a Cheeseburger with fries, and the youngest settled on Cheese Fries. It may sound straightforward, but there were a bunch of customizations. Luckily, our server was friendly and accommodating. The food arrived promptly, and tasted like what you would expect from a bar kitchen. The fries were a hit, and I managed to snag a couple of wings from Wifey. They were a nice size and tasted good.  My quesadilla was decent, nothing more. The real winner was our server, but overall this place was a typical sports bar. 3.5 rating

Yelp
It's a nice space, lots of tvs which is what I want in a sports bar. It's also very spacious around the bar so easy to stand in large groups without feeling crowded. The other thing I liked is they know what to do with large groups, keeping track of drinks etc. Good service. In terms of options, standard stuff all around the hotel, a few variations in bottle but not too many. I would like more options. Right next to the bar there is an off shoot of the restaurant where you can order drinks. I really liked that. Get all the same stuff, outside.
google avatar

Nicki M.

Yelp
Honestly it was a great sports bar with good food and good service. It was a typical sports bar ambiance with tv's everywhere! I had the bone in Buffalo wings and chili cheese fries and both were delicious and fresh!
google avatar

Rustin L.

Yelp
Well let's see, it took forever for someone to take our order (group of seven), ordered appetizer and main dishes (specifically directed that I wanted appi out ASAP), then food arrives before appi (tell them to remove it now) and there's a tomato on my burger that wasn't on the menu. Plus the fries were just ok. Besides that *eye roll* there are many TVs on different games and the people watching from our table was good.

Yelp
Higher end bar inside Opryland Resort. The service was fantastic and the drinks were great. It is located near the Magnolia area which is perfect for ride share drop off/pick up prior to The Grand Ole Opry show. That's what we did. The bar has its own restroom. They make a mean old fashion! $67 before tip for 3 glasses of wine and an old fashion, but that is to be expected for higher end. No regrets.
google avatar

Jenna U.

Yelp
Mediocre food, just normal bar food, nothing special Mediocre service, you can tell people don't like their jobs. Not rude but not friendly. Not all sports on the tvs

Yelp
Good service (at lunch) GET THE TURKY MELT! the carne flat bread is tasty.also it's a nice restaurant.

Yelp
We drove a long way and didn't want to venture when we checked into the Gaylord so we just picked a place and we should have looked more closely. We shared a pretzel for an appetizer and got hamburgers. Our bill was $80. The food was not worth it. We didn't even have alcohol. Overpriced for mediocre food. McDonald's would have been better.
google avatar

Amanda K.

Yelp
We loved fuse!! We weren't sure since my mom has celiac disease. The chef came out and discussed everything with her. They have a dedicated fryer also. So she was able to have fries and wings. It was all very good. She also got a burger and they had a GF bun as well. She also was able to get chili cheese fries and they were great. I had a non GF meal and it was great too! Definitely recommend if you're in the Opryland resort.

Yelp
Fuse Sports Bar has a typical bar vibe and ambiance. The service is friendly and my drink was served with a smile. It was a decent enough spot to stop in for a drink while in Nashville, Tennessee.

Yelp
My child said that Fuse is the best restaurant for kids at Gaylord Opryland, because they offer Jello as a side for the kids' meals. So take that as you will. They do have a nice kids menu, with options like mac & cheese, hamburgers, chicken nuggets, chicken sandwiches and grilled cheese. Side options for kids meals include the aforementioned Jello (sugar-free), granola bar, Doritos, fries or mixed fruit. I got the carne asada fries, which was listed on the menu as an appetizer. The fries they added were those thick steak fries, and there was so much stuff on them that I had to eat them with a fork. Lots of guacamole, pico de gallo and sour cream, plus carne asada. They were good. My husband got the chopped salad, and he said it was good, too. We all enjoyed our food, and it didn't take long at all to get our food, and our server was super sweet and very attentive without being obstructive, and we had a generally good meal. The food and drink was a little expensive, but I suppose that's to be expected from a sports bar inside Gaylord Opryland. It was about $85 for two adult meals, two kids meals and two alcoholic drinks. If you are looking for a place to watch a game, Fuse would be a great place. According to one of my children, they have 56 TVs in the restaurant! So you're surrounded by sports wherever you sit.

Yelp
I tried SO hard to give Fuse a benefit of the doubt, but I came here twice during my stay at the Gaylord Opryland, and service was disappointing both times. It was clear how understaffed they were, and that's not necessarily the fault of the servers. The first time I was with a group, our waitress kept telling my friend she would check on a specific beer availability but never did. She brought everyone else's drinks, and I had to remind her multiple times. My favorite classic Nashville IPA is the Yee Haw, so that's mostly what I ordered. Didn't want to venture into cocktail land. The second time I was with a group, I tried someone's Mozzarella Sticks, which were actually great. It took 30-45 minutes of being seated before our orders were even taken. Everyone was exhausted from the convention and close to giving up on Fuse. Unfortunately it's one of the most convenient bars at the Gaylord... what a tragedy.

Marcy W.

Yelp
Wait time was awful and when we asked Hostess how much longer after waiting over an hour for a table, she was rude and proceeded to say it would be another 30-45 min. wait. Meanwhile there were only TWO tables that had customers eating!
google avatar

Kay H.

Yelp
We sat for a full hour waiting for our food to be brought to the table. Unfortunately we could not wait any longer so we requested our food to be packed to go. The waiter originally stated that checks could not be individual for the party of nine even though we all did not know each other. We are here for a conference and sat together for a "quick" lunch. We then went to pay with cash, and was told that the restaurant is cashless. So one of the people at our table asked to split the checks since we do not know one another and cannot pay with cash. Thankfully the waiter did. We all paid and then waited for the food to be delivered. We left with our food in tote an hour and 35 minutes later from the time we sat. The salad was drowning in dressing and was not a plentiful size. We all know how cheap lettuce is, there is no reason to hold out on making it more plentiful. The crispy fried chips were an over abundance for the size of the salad. There is not very many options that are meatless. Hummus, fake burger, Asian salad, fries. Now if you want a drink ... they have plenty of those with a full bar. I think after waiting so long, I should have gotten a drink to numb my thoughts. (Kidding) I did feel bad for the waiter and still tipped. He can only control so much and I know he relies on the full team for happy tables. # Not going back

Yelp
Came with a group during a conference, got sat at 6:45, did not see our waitress until 7:20. Twenty minutes later we got our drinks. 30 minutes later our food arrived. Orders were wrong. Asked to speak to a manager, he said he'd get our checks but did not offer any solutions. Twenty minutes later we still did not have our checks. Our waitress came over and asked us not to take it out on her. This was the 3rd time we saw her. Two of our party went to the manager. We had to get our own to go boxes. The manager came over and was rude. Told us we made the waitress cry and she works hard. One of our group didn't get a check and had to ask for it. I've never in my life left a bad review, but this was horrible. Avoid this place at all costs!!!

Yelp
We were exhausted and got back late from a concert. We just wanted a drink and a snack. We stopped in at Fuse and sat at the bar. We got a dirty martini which was really good! We had the boneless chicken wings and they were not worth mentioning. We also ordered the cheese dip and it was super yummy!! The bartender was great, knew we were tired and got us the food and drinks fast!! The bar has a million tvs and music going. Lots of stimulation and it would be fun with a big group.

Yelp
The best meal I had at our stay in the Gaylord. I ordered the chicken sandwich and my husband had the chicken soup - both were good. The service was great.

Yelp
Average at best. Service was slow and with a bad attitude. 2 beers was $17.50. The Ambiance was nice and plenty of TVs. Will not be back. Nothing unique. Bartender rather Talk to servers instead of taking care of guest.

Yelp
Gluten Free! When I asked about GF, the waitress brought a chef out. I was able to have GF Buffalo wings (bone in) and French Fries!

Yelp
I almost blew a fuse at Fuse! pros: location, location, location. This is the sole reason that Fuse is in business. If you're staying at the Gaylord, you will end up here. cons: Service is horrible. Since they get the business by default, they do nothing to earn it. Not friendly, definitely not fast, regardless of how busy they are. Plates never cleared, not just your own, but also the plates of patrons who left long before. Spending 5 days at the Gaylord, I visited Fuse more than a few times. On more than one occasion it took so long to get the attention of a bartender that I left. This lack of service has nothing to do with being busy or being short staffed, they just don't care.

Yelp
Well, I don't know whether to knock this place for the excessive wait time or not. The hotel is too big for its resources. The wait time was an hour and forty five minutes or more at every restaurant at the hotel. I read a lot of poor service reviews on yelp while I waited. I did not have the same experience. My service was great. We even had some issues at the beginning they were quickly resolved. The waiter was awesome. We never had an empty drink and he was always there to check on us and provide updates on the food. The food was alright. My wife really liked the buffalo chicken dip. We also got the chili and used it as a second dip!! The chili wasn't as hot as we would have liked it. It could have been due to the massive scoop of sour cream, but it still wasn't bad. We had a burger and the ruben. They just seemed like typical bar food. Over all not a horrible experience, but I don't feel a need to go back anytime soon.

Yelp
Fuse is my favorite restaurant to the Gaylord Opryland. The menu has lots of options from upscale bar food to salads, steaks and chicken. Fuse also has lots of craft beers on draft, bottle beer, wine, etc. I love all the TVs (duh! it's a sports bar) and we could always find a seat at the bar, even when the place was busy. Service was good too, we never had to wait for a drink. Definitely try it the next time you're at the Gaylord.

Yelp
It was late and we were starving. Since Opryland Resort caters to early bird diners (at least it feels like it), Fuse Sports Bar was our only choice. As mentioned, it was late so we had to order off the late-night menu which was extremely limited. We ended up just ordering the bacon cheese chips. How could you go wrong with bacon cheese chips right? Well you start with cold stale chips, drown them in liquid cheese sauce, and then top them with shredded cheese that you don't melt or heat up and cover it in sour cream. Service was decent although one of the bartenders was obviously having personal issues.

Yelp
Sean was our waiter and only came back at the very end to fill drinks... Did not bring boxes for our food... We had 12 business owners, and they refused to split checks... Marcus the manager was very rude, kept saying that he could not split checks because they were too. "busy "... which they were not! horrific management here!

Yelp
They were rude as (curse words I dont want to use on this platform). I Ordered and immediately someone else who doesn't work their told me it was a bad idea. They clearly dont like "certain types" of people because they socialized with all types of people but my party's type. So I had to cancel my order and leave.. Definite no go for minorities. Unless you wNt to be treated like trash. I didn't even get my food. Country western is the only type of music they play or even have an open ear to..

Yelp
This sports bar sits right off the Magnolia portico entrance at the Gaylord Opryland resort. Stepping up into the place you come to a large bar which had an open spot within site of several big screens. There was a one man band playing right outside which tends to be the norm in Music City providing some good albeit loud dining music. The bartender was helpful as I looked at the menu which had a good selection of appetizers, hand helds, salads and entrées. The chili sounded good, and I asked if it had beans (proper chili should not have beans!) She told me it did not, or at least I think that's what she said. I added some wings to that order along with a Blue Moon. The wings were the standard buffalo style (not Nashville hot), and above average meaty and tasty. The chili ended up having beans!! I ate it anyway with a fair heaping of Tabasco sauce. It was actually really good dressed up with cheese and sour cream as well. Overall, it was a very good experience; the service, atmosphere, the food were all really good. It was a little pricey, but that seems usual for Gaylord properties.

Yelp
We stayed at part of this resort and were able to do some exploration with the kids. We found it hard to find a kid friendly restaurant here, so we settled on Fuse. Huge bar area with people having a great time. We were seated and it took a long time for our waitress to come over. I don't know if people don't order wine in Nashville, but again I ordered Pinot Grigio and was told they don't have it. Then I asked a question about the menu and the girl said she was new and didn't know. The food was ok. We ordered soft pretzels, which were kind of hard. Then I ordered a salad which was actually good, but just overpriced. Our server was nice, but not knowledgeable. I can't say I would go here again for overpriced food and blah service.

Yelp
4 stars on food, 3 stars on service, 2 stars on price. Loaded fries and BBQ wings were delicious. Honestly, I'd love to have some more of those loaded fries right now. They paired perfectly with their house ranch. Copious amounts of toppings included. Service was so extremely slow. It wasn't overwhelming in there and the tables were spaced for social distancing. I'm not really sure why it was a 2 hour experience for us. Our waiter was nice but had huge gaps in the times he'd stop by. For having hundreds of TVs, it took us several tries to get a manager to change the game on one TV in front of us. Price was something we knew going in to... it's a resort, it's expensive. I'm not entirely sure what's enticing for the public to come in here and spend such an extreme amount when they could go to any sports bar? The cost does not equal the quality but again, this is a resort. Unfortunately, the service fee wasn't listed anywhere so I was surprised to see that extra $25 on my bill. I'd be willing to try the fries to go next time, if I could avoid the fee and slow service.
