Fusion Ceviche

Fusion Ceviche is an neighbour restaurant bringing bold Peruvian flavours to Dubai, led by Chef Penelope Diaz whose menu focuses on the best fresh ingredients and beautifully balanced dishes. The setting is intimate, relaxed and welcoming, making it ideal for an easy lunch or a laid-back evening meal. We ordered the classic ceviche starter, super fresh sea bass with citrusy & spicy tigers milk sauce. We followed this with another traditional Peruvian course of wagyu beef on a bed of rice and chips (yes, I did say that but try it!) in an incredible sauce. Simple, confident cooking done very well.

The food was delicious, definitely some of the freshest and heartiest ceviche you can find. It was made with love and presented beautifully. The service was spotty, empty plates just left sitting while following courses were served. The big surprise, however, was the prices. For an unlicensed place in a casual spot, everything is 50 dirhams too expensive.

Omg this place! It was recommended to me by a friend and I’m so glad I went. It’s tiny, but the food! The food is sooo good, fresh and plentiful. We ordered a few dishes to share: an empanada to start (delicious), followed by the octopus which was cooked perfectly, then the mixed ceviche (amazing and a big portion!), and finally the short rib (melt in the mouth). At this point I was ready to pop but there’s always a bit of room for dessert and the tres leches was the icing on the cake. Honestly the best meal I’ve had in a very long time, and we’ve already booked to go back!

Fusion Ceviche. Finally I managed to try this place which has been getting a lot of hype. Fusion Ceviche opened in 2022 by self-taught chef-owner Penelope Diaz serving Peruvian cuisine. With only 26 seats the place gets full immediately. The menu features classics like Civiche, empanadas and tiraditos. Service was ok but they are under-staffed for the number of guests. Also they had ran out of all the desserts at 9.30 pm! This is a sign of a sourcing issue. Rating ⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 3.5//5 Average PPP AED 380

My favorite Peruvian restaurant in Dubai! The food is super delicious, the place is super cozy and authentic, and the owner is adorable! I admire her character and how she's taken care of the place and helped it evolve. I've been a customer since the beginning and will always come back. Thank you so much for the great work! ❤️

Fusion Ceviche is truly a top-notch restaurant, run by a wonderful Peruvian host who makes the experience even more special. The environment has a perfect mix of glamour and warmth, while the food is simply excellent - authentic, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I can’t recommend this place enough for its authenticity and vibrant atmosphere. I can’t wait to come back and try all the other dishes and ceviches!

We recently dined at Fusion Ceviche and had mixed feelings about the experience. On the positive side, the food itself was excellent. The ingredients were clearly very fresh and the dishes were skillfully prepared, showcasing the vibrant flavors you expect from Peruvian cuisine. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not match the quality of the food, especially considering the price. Our bill came over 600 AED for two people, without dessert and only a bottle of water, which sets high expectations for service. Service was the main disappointment. The order of dishes was confusing — a hot main dish meant for sharing was served before the cold appetizers. In addition, the table was cleared in a way that felt rushed and inattentive. Before I had finished eating, most of the table had been completely cleared, leaving only my plate, glass, and fork. Even the sauce I was still enjoying was removed.. At that point, we decided not to order dessert. While the food is very good, the service and pacing need improvement to justify the price.
