We recently dined at Fusion Ceviche and had mixed feelings about the experience. On the positive side, the food itself was excellent. The ingredients were clearly very fresh and the dishes were skillfully prepared, showcasing the vibrant flavors you expect from Peruvian cuisine.
Unfortunately, the overall experience did not match the quality of the food, especially considering the price. Our bill came over
600 AED for two people, without dessert and only a bottle of water, which sets high expectations for service.
Service was the main disappointment. The order of dishes was confusing — a hot main dish meant for sharing was served before the cold appetizers. In addition, the table was cleared in a way that felt rushed and inattentive. Before I had finished eating, most of the table had been completely cleared, leaving only my plate, glass, and fork. Even the sauce I was still enjoying was removed..
At that point, we decided not to order dessert. While the food is very good, the service and pacing need improvement to justify the price.
