Small, quiet and welcoming. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about their menu. Oatmeal cappuccino is made with single origin espresso with chocolate notes. Very flavorful with a strong coffee taste. The blackberry honey corn muffin is a delicious and hearty way to start the day. Dog friendly location.

Beautiful coffee shop with an earthy, minimalist vibe. Great service - they brought my coffee to my table - which might not be the norm when it’s a full house but I got here early and the line wasn’t very long. Plenty of tables, good music and good volume (might sound silly to mention but sometimes other cafes have that music blasting… and well, it can be a little much at 7am.) All that to say, my latte was delicious :) and I’ll definitely add this spot to the rotation.

I generally gauge coffee shops by their cold brew, and this coffee shop has a smooth, creamy, very easy to drink cold brew option. I ordered a sesame bagel and hopped into a little booth to do some work. Overall, the vibe is very laid back, great music, and strong WiFi. I’m really glad I ducked into this cute little coffee shop!

We popped in for small bites and a power-up. My partner got a latte and I ordered herbal tea. We're both vegan and I'm caffeine intolerant, so there's always lots to consider when going out. Thankfully in our own neighborhood is this shop that offers vegan treats and herbal tea options without mint 🙌. We grabbed a cozy table in the corner while we waited for our drinks and pastries. For how busy they were, the two folks working hustled out orders pretty quickly! Our drinks were very tasty and exactly what we wanted. The pastries were also perfect. Very dense, but perfectly paired for me tea. Looking forward to returning. And the people-watching is great. Lots of folks coming in with their cute doggos. Seeing the pups excited to see their favorite baristas was very cute.

Our first coffee roaster in Portland - Futura Coffee Roaster which focuses on not only quality but also soil generation. The decor is artsy with cozy ambiance and the latte was rich & creamy.

Quiet neighborhood coffee shop. Beautiful rough hewn tables and clean decor. Good service at the counter and the bevs were delicious. Just steps away from the Rosa Parks Max site, it’s a welcome addition to the Arbor Lodge neighborhood.

This place is very nice to step into and get a fresh cup of coffee! The ambiance is very planty, new, open and modern. The service is spectacular and I would love to bring my significant other to this place to try a beverage! Thank you for your service!!!

Coffee is really good - especially the brewed coffee. Impressed with the favored coffees as well. The baked goods on the other hand are exceptional. I have dreams about the chocolate cookie. The place is very clean, the WiFi is good and makes for a decent place to work for a bit. Very bright and sunny with some outside seating. Friendly baristas with Collette being a standout.

Futura is a lovely little coffee shop to sit at and work for a little bit! Lots of seating, clean and open with friendly service. Lattes and pastries were yummy, and parking out front was easy to grab!

Super cute coffee shop with super kind workers!! Had a delicious matcha latte and stopped to hide from the rain and they were so kind. Would be a wonderful place to stay and do work and be productive!

Absolutely delicious! Ordered a cappuccino with a spectacular single origin on espresso; the barista knew exactly what they were doing, and knew so much about coffee. I really enjoyed the space, the people were friendly, and it was nice and chill. :) Very happy.

Wonderful neighborhood coffee shop. Great pastries, great coffee, but those are givens. What sets it apart is its comfortable ambiance & its atmosphere. Beautiful space - great for working or coffee with a friend. Recently Futura has hosted some weeknight poetry readings, & would love to see more of those or music. A really ideal venue for it!

I'm not one to hang out in coffee shops, I'm usually just the grab 'n go type. But over the last few days I've needed something done in the area that required me to wait until a certain time so I decided to finally try Futura after having driven by numerous times. Both times I've visited were weekday mornings before 10am, and while both times have had a steady flow of people both waiting for coffee to go and sitting and working, its never felt busy or rushed. That is in large part thanks to the super friendly, yet totally non invasive baristas. I really appreciate how warm and welcoming they are without making you feel like they're engaging in forced small talk, while also be really willing to answer questions and get you the coffee you want. On my first visit I had a single origin drip coffee and pastry (from Jen's Pastries). Both were super delicious and had me thinking about changing my current coffee subscription service. Second visit this morning I had a blend drip, which solidified my decision to switching to Futura's coffee subscription. This coffee is top notch, and I appreciate that the drip tastes really fresh because often in other shops it tastes like its been sitting on the burner all day. Next time I plan on trying an espresso based drink, and there will 100% be a next time because I love the vibe and coffee of this lovely little space.

Went to go visit this coffee shop that I've heard so much about, but was extremely disappointment to find out that they have limited alternative milk options. Won't be returning just because of that. Staff also had some out of pocket comments that seemed to have negative connotation.
