"Watch this video. Then watch it again. Embrace it. Feel it. And then fully prepare for the fact that this will be your exact reaction when you see Fuwa Fuwa’s pancakes. This Japanese café specialises in soufflé pancakes. Basically, they’re similar to a glorious scotch pancake that’s been put under a serious workout regime and bulked out big time. When it comes to toppings you can expect everything from chocolate, to strawberries, to our personal favourite, the Biscoff special. It’s a bright and simple space but be warned, Fuwa Fuwa is walk-in only and these pancakes will bring the crowds at weekends. photo credit: Giulia Verdinelli" - Heidi Lauth Beasley

Was at river park Wednesday morning and I got locked out of my car lol as I waited to get my car opened for us my bf and I found this little place and they had just opened for the day and really sweet lady greeted us. She took our order and we waited for our treats. Environment was very chill and calming I love the minimalistic look and I felt very relaxed as my bf and I waited. We get our order and omg it was the warmest most comforting little pancakes I’d ever had!! It was the perfect sweet but not too sweet and flavorful fruit taste with very good fresh fruit too! I love the jiggle it has lol. The place is cute, the environment was relaxing and the staff was friendly. Definitely a new “end the date” spot for us😊

Google
Food was 6.5/10, the souflees look really nice, they're Japanese style as opposed to European - so less sweet and more eggy, texture was really good and didn't deflate even after taking it to go. There's one type of souflee base so the flavor all comes from the topping, i got taro. It looked really good, had a smooth texture and vibrant color. Flavor was a bit lacking,, not a bad flavor but felt either watered down or didn't have enough fat to carry the flavor. it was overly sweet in a way where it hits you at the end, but doesn't tast like it when you bite into it. Kind of like they didn't get the ratio of fat, hydration, stabilizers, and sugar right,, i also think they used a simple syrup to sweeten it as opposed to powder sugar. It improves the texture and holds up longer so if i were making it at a restaurant i would probably do the same; for home use i would use powder sugar for the flavor. The tea i got was red bean milk tea,, the tea has good flavor and brewing strength, as well as the right amount of milk and sweetness. However they put the read bean paste in without blending it, so it all clumped together at the bottom. If it had been a flavored boba it would gave been good that way, but ths texture of the paste is exactly as you would expect. Personally i would have blended it in with a small ammount of the the milk and added a stabilizer to keep it from seperating. Atmosphere was 9.5/10,, so i would definitely come back to study or chat with freinds for a while. Open into the evening which i apreciate. Lighting was bright enough to easily read but not overwhelming or harsh. There was quiet and calm music playing at the perfect volume,, could hear it well enough to make for good background noise - but able to easily tune it out when focused or talk over. Service was fast and friendly. Didnt need to go out of her way but did a very professional job. I was able to study the menu for a while without feeling rushed or stared at,, and she was right there to take my order with no wait once i had decided. came out in less than 10 minutes, pretty good for a souffle cooked to order. I didn't ask questions however she would have very likley known the answer as there was 1 person to do the customer interfacing, plating, prep and cooking to order. Will come back as a nice spot to chill, hang or chat but won't do togo again.

Google
This place is absolutely delicious! I waited 15 minuets for my soufflé I would’ve waited an hour!!! It’s so so good! My Fiancè and I shared this one and it was perfection.

Google
We ordered the taro blended, taro souffle, and the chocolate souffle. Loved the taro drink it did not taste too strong nor did it have a powdery taste to it. The chocolate souffle was beautiful not a big fan of eggs and it tasted and smelled like eggs but the texture was very fluffy and pleasing.

Morgan Johnson

Google
Their boba drinks taste great and the souffle are sooo good. I have enjoyed every flavor I have ordered. While there are not a ton of seats inside, I have not encountered a time where there was not enough room to sit. Only complaint is that the food always takes a while to come out (20 minutes), but I believe that is because they are made fresh that moment and take about 20 minutes to cook.

Google
Absolutely fantastic fluffy souffle, I was pleasantly surprised, we got the chocolate flavor and it was pretty sweet! A little pricey, about 18 bucks, but definitely worth the try

songul Aydin

Google
I like their matcha blended and ubelatte, their desserts look perfect as well I’ll give it a try. Some people thinks it’s overpriced but they can bake at home if they want to eat lower price. It is normal considering they pay rent, utility, employee and more

Google
The original & strawberry souffle were both delicious!! Both very airy and lite but packed with flavor. The mango passionfruit tea was really refreshing especially in that triple digit weather. Will definitely be coming back on my next visit.

Daisy C.

Yelp
This is a whole gem here in the Central Valley. We have gone a few times and the experience is so consistent. The soufflés are made to order and warm when delivered. We had mango and strawberry. The flavor comes from the fluffy whipped cream. The mango had very subtle notes while strawberry was similar to strawberry milk flavor. I personally preferred the strawberry because I like things that are very sweet. The area is spacious with indoor seating available.

Yelp
Fresno with the Soufflé Pancakes....WHAT?! I can't get a soufflé pancake in Sacramento unless I make it my self :(. Thankfully, when I visit the in-laws I can get a little treat at this spot. Located in the River Park outdoor mall area next to Five Guys. The Chocolate soufflé was everything. Kinda pricey for one pancake, but they're the only ones doing it so you kinda have no choice but to pony up for some yumminess.

Ed L.

Yelp
Pros: The souffle pancake was good. The drinks are good. Neat and clean dinning area. Good service. Cons: A bit pricey.

Crystal B.

Yelp
The soufflé looked so pretty online that I needed to try it out while I was in town. The Souffle looked so soft and giggly and so pleasing to the eye. Overall - it didn't quite meet my expectation of what I wanted and saw from the pictures. I expected very soft angel bread - Japanese castella bread but it tasted like an average pancake dough. What I did like about it was that it was fresh. The Souffle was warm and therefore immediately the cream melted off the Souffle creating that silky smooth texture of the cream. I got the strawberry Souffle and it came with berries on top. I enjoyed it overall but it just didn't meet my expectations nor am I wanting to try the other flavors. But the photos came out nice. Definitely soenthing for the gram.

Valerie C.

Yelp
Prettty decent soufflé pancakes located in Fresno! We got 3 different flavors: strawberry, mango and matcha! I would say ranking the flavors, strawberry and matcha were the best as the mango cream tasted too artificial for me. I also was craving milk tea so I got the jasmine milk tea. I think it needed more tea and less milk or cream cuz it lacked the jasmine tea floral taste. Also the boba was a bit hard so the 3 star rating was mainly reflected on that :(

Tiffany C.

Yelp
Location: within a shopping plaza. the surrounding has a lot of restaurants and a movie theater. Ordered milk tea, matcha, mango, and strawberry soufflé pancakes to go. Pancakes came with a cute Togo container and a side matcha, mango and strawberries flavored whipped cream and a few pieces of fruits. My fave was the matcha as it tasted creamy and not too sweet and full of Matcha flavors. Secondly would be strawberry flavor and lastly would be mango. Mango whipped cream was too sweet for my taste but overall the flavors were good. Milk tea was just okay. Had better from other boba tea place.

Jose R.

Yelp
What a delicious and delightful place! We discovered this place by chance and have eaten at the J-Pot across the plaza from FUWA. This place was delicious and everything was made with heart and soul; the drinks were some of the best we have had! Now the soufflé's left us with no words, absolutely delicious and worth its weight it doughy goodness! The service was excellent and the ambience is a perfect place for a date or to relax and enjoy some amazing boba. We will be back! Thank you for making this day trip memorable for our family!

Diana S.

Yelp
Friendly staff, it's really spacious but a tad bit of tables inside. I got their strawberry soufflé and their pink strawberry smoothie. Pink strawberry smoothie is sooooooo delicious, smoothie with a soft top. Mix together bomb. Not overly sweet but not bitter. Just the right where it satisfies your tummy(unless your lactose, like me, but hey it's worth it. As for the soufflé, def fluffy/moist and the cream on top pretty delicious as well. As for the taste, I wasn't able to finish it as the egg taste was overpowering , pretty bland as well. Usually you get that hint of sweetness with its fluffy ness, and the taste of eggs is mellow. Again that's just me personally Would I come back for the smoothie, heck yeah. The soufflé? Not so much

Ray M.

Yelp
This place is a fun experience. The staff is friendly, the soufflé is delicious and they have a pretty decent assortment of teas. I visited this place around 8:30 at night and it was full of people. I was able to immediately order and there was a really sweet woman who helped me. I ordered the matcha soufflé and a peach oolong tea. I absolutely loved the soufflé. It had a great, light and airy texture. The pancakes themselves have a wonderfully tasty batter. The topping has all the flavor you select. The matcha was perfectly balanced, not too sweet, just sweet enough tastes like a light cream that covers the pancakes. The tea was nice and hot and just a great accompaniment to the soufflé. My biggest complaint was the seating. People were hovering over tables waiting off seats. It almost seems like management wants people to buy the food, but enjoy it some place else. All things considered, it was a wonderful tasty treat that I thoroughly enjoyed.

Isabella C.

Yelp
You could improve your rude staff. And your shitty "cakes." Idk if next time I go if I will have bad customer service or food poisoning. I'm not taking any chances though because I WILL NOT BE RETURNING!!!!!!

Yelp
What a fun little spot this is. My daughter wanted to try something new, so we headed to Riverpark and went to Fuwa Fuwa Souffle Cafe. We weren't too sure what to expect but ended up pleasantly surprised. We went during the weekday, so it was very quiet, but on the weekends, they are continuously busy. We walked in and were greeted immediately. We told the lady it was our first time here, and she was more than happy to explain everything to us. She was passionate about the cafe, so maybe it was the owner. Either way, she was very friendly and helpful. They sell anything from espressos, yogurt blends, milk teas, tea drinks, and different flavors of the Fuwa Fuea souffle to mini box cakes and the delicious Japanese soufflé dessert. Fuwa Fuwa Souffle dessert is a fluffy pancake souffle with a creamy flavored topping. We chose the Mango Souffle, and it was yummy! Since these are made to order, they take a little time to complete, about 10-12 minutes. Once they serve you, it's a fun little treat to balance your souffle while walking back to your table. My daughter thought it was hysterical. We really enjoyed the dessert. The prime location is perfect for a treat while shopping in the river park area; it's spotless and has ample seating for several groups. Check this place out!

Peggy C.

Yelp
Had the chocolate soufflé. It was good. Love that it was arm and fresh. It did take a long time. Place was clean. We went when it was raining and there needed to be a better mat at the door. The floors were slippery cause of the rain and kind unsafe.

Sara B.

Yelp
Back again to try a different drink and to actually try the Fuwa Fuwa pancakes. I had an iced Ube Latte and added Boba because why not?! We also ordered a Mango soufflé. These are the fluffiest pancakes ever. They are great because they are not overly sweet like an actual cake. There is about a 15 min wait on the pancakes because they make them fresh. So it is served warm with a whipped topping on top and some fresh fruit on the side. My sister said that she liked these better than the ones she tried in Hawaii. The pancakes are a little pricey at ~ $16 but you could easily share one with 2-3 people. The coffee drinks run about $7. So not cheap but worth the treat.

Shelby C.

Yelp
We had been wanting to try the soufflé here since they opened! We were in river park Saturday night and decided to stop in finally. The inside of the store is really nice and clean . Not a lot of tables . We got the chocolate soufflé and it was $16.85 , a little pricey. One of the layers was a little over cooked and had a bit of burnt flavor. I will say over all it was good but definitely a once in awhile treat but might have to stop in soon to get a boba.

Maggie P.

Yelp
Everything I expected! The pancakes are so fluffy and delicious. The staff is nice and the place is clean and spacious. Definitely my to go place!

Hector H.

Yelp
Tried the place when it was just open. The price was a bit high for me. The soufflé was fluffy and freshly made. A cute place to spend time with friends for a hot afternoon.

Brenda T.

Yelp
Such a delicious experience coming to Fuwa Fuwa Soufflé and cafe. Service is good a bit of a wait time but totally worth it since everything is freshly made to order. The soufflés were so fluffy melt in your mouth and the whipped topping on top is so bomb! That strawberry cheese tea with boba was amazing so creamy! I wasn't much of a fan of the chiffon cake it needs like a nice glazed fruit and some glazed fruit in between the cake layers.

k k.

Yelp
For $16 and a 15minute wait... especially if that's your specialty, they better be good! But no..... the pancakes are bland. They are indeed fluffy, but please taste what you make! Try them! Because if you did, you'd know they taste like styrofoam!! Use some vanilla, some sugar, ... something! You can't make up for it just with texture. ALSO, if it took you guys that long to make pancakes... don't burn them! It's $16!!!! Not including tax or tea or coffee or anything. Every layer was burned. And you can't cover up that kind of burnt flavor with t whipped cream.

Henry H.

Yelp
Their version of soufflé is quite different then the Euro/American styled soufflé to which I would say is more authentic. Their version of soufflé is more Japanese influenced and sure, the Japanese call them Japanese soufflé pancakes. I do think they should label this desert accurately so the customers know what they are getting themselves into. The texture itself as you can see from my pictures are 3 stacks of small pancakes. Although it is technically not exactly like a pancake but it was pretty close to one. It is mixed with mango and the fillings tasted well balanced. The ambiance inside this establishment is fairly minimalistic so don't expect any fancy furniture or painting inside this café. Their version of the soufflé is not cheap and it does take them sometime before it is being made so don't come completely empty stomached, or else you may have to stay hungry just a little longer!

T P F.

Yelp
Went into Fuwa and asked questions about desserts woman at the counter was a bit short with us and seemed fake nice. The desserts were pretty so we selected one. Ordered the strawberry soufflé. It was just okay. It's basically 3 pancakes with whipped cream on top and fresh fruit. Paid nearly $18 for this. No way will not return. Not to mention the husband and I both got food poisoning and upset stomach afterwards. Not worth the price or tummy issues. Will not return. No thanks snooty lady.

Ana L.

Yelp
Food was amazing my husband and I enjoyed it very much will definitely come back. Service was quick and very nice. Very clean even the bathroom smelled clean

Sunitha G.

Yelp
I really enjoyed Fuwa Fuwa the times I have visited. Keep in mind that the prices are a bit high, so it's definitely a once in awhile treat. The soufflé which is best described as a fluffy pancake, is so good but does take awhile to be made so if you don't mind waiting, I'd recommend trying it. Their drinks and boba texture are great and consistent. The interior is alright, it's very simple and clean but does feel really empty, I do think they can add more for a more cozy feeling. Overall though, this is a place I like to suggest to friends to try out!

Kevin D.

Yelp
Wow! After a very disappointing dessert effort at the place we went for dinner...reviewed tonight as well...we stumbled upon Fuwa Fuwa at Riverpark and we were pleasantly impressed. My wife had a jasmine tea that was l delicious. I had an Americano that was far better than anything I've ever had from the big Seattle coffee company. But the star of the show was the chocolate soufflé. It was incredible! We go out for dinner and dessert with our adult children a couple of times a month and our next dessert destination is right back at Riverpark to Fuwa Fuwa!

Cortney B.

Yelp
Came here to grab a boba with my daughter. Such a cute little shop. The vibe is very comforting and aesthetic. The service was amazing, asked what she recommended and she did great. Would definitely recommended stopping by here on your next walk around!

Jailen T.

Yelp
Wow. So yummy. Best pancake soufflé I've had in CA. Based on jigglyness and timeliness. I usually have to wait 25+ minutes for a pancake order like this and here it took maybe under 10. I'm surprised there's a spot like this in Fresno and it's definitely a gem! Their boba is so soft and chewy. I love the frosting/topping they put on the pancakes. If the pancakes were a bit warmer when served it would be 10/10. Also, ordered the ube coffee and black sugar milk tea 4/5 for both. Definitely recommend! Such a good dessert or snack. I hope they open in SoCal!

Mari I.

Yelp
I've tried this place twice and got fluffy pancakes. They both were so fluffy as you can see my videos even when I carried them, it was almost falling down because it's super soft and fluffy. The taste was also good not too sweet I really love this place. *It takes 10-20 mins to serve

Rico G.

Yelp
The ambiance is kinda basic, service was simple too, and the food (mostly boba drinks) are pretty good, didn't try the soufflé but the display vs the real product is crazy. in a GOOD way, the soufflé that was made is giant and freshly made. That is my personal opinion when i saw someone order it, i didn't try it though, looks good though!

Stephanie T.

Yelp
Fuwa Fuwa boasts a spacious, minimalistic ambiance situated in a River Park with surrounding trendy shops. Their diverse soufflé flavors, including Mango, Chocolate, and Matcha, along with an array of coffee and tea drinks, make choosing a delightful experience. Opting for a Taro Soufflé, freshly made in 15 minutes, was an ABSOLUTE treat that looks like a masterpiece almost to pretty to eat. I suggest to not to order it to go, and enjoying it right away. It looked too big to eat in one sitting, but before I knew it, we finished the whole thing in seconds. I will be back to enjoy the warm, jiggly goodness soon.

Granger L.

Yelp
I wasn't sure what to expect since this place seems to be known more for their souffle pancakes, but their kiwi fruit tea is actually really good and had a lot of kiwi pieces. Almost felt like I was biting into kiwi in some sips :)

Mike A.

Yelp
We had the Japanese pancakes for breakfast before at a restaurant in Hawaii and loved them. These were presented as a dessert, and the topping was great, but the pancakes weren't spectacular. Tasted more like regular pancakes that were just thicker. The chocolate topping was excellent, but the price for the pancakes and the latte was very, very expensive. If the pricing was more in line with what the value truly was or it had some quality fruit with it, it might have been better. The ambiance was definitely lacking as the layout was weird, and the decorations were sparse. This is a one and done place in my eyes.

Kong L.

Yelp
I've always wondered how these fluffy Japanese cakes tasted and finally found this location that specializes in it. I stopped in on New Years eve and got one. There were only two left! You basically choose your flavor and they make it for you on the spot. The person at the counter suggested the strawberry for me so I went with that one. For $15, it was quite high but it's all about the experience. This could easily had fed 3 people. The first few bites were the best. From the texture to flavors. I can literally taste the egg in this cake. Overall, I enjoyed it and glad to try something new for dessert.

Birkley C.

Yelp
The Jiggle cake we got was chocolate on top of the jiggle cake. Waiting for the jiggle cake is a bit long but worth it, you can also get a boba with your jiggle cake or just the boba. The room was dule but it had a lot of room but not a lot of chairs. I would rate it a 9/10 a must go again.

Tony N.

Yelp
First time checking out Fuwa Fuwa and very pleased with the experience I had here. This place is conveniently located right across from the brewery. With a good amount of space, it can accommodate several parties for an amazing time together. Fuwa Fuwa Souffle and Cafe is a spot I found to be great for well.... what the name entails! They specialize in Japanese souffle pancakes and cafe drinks. I was pleased to see their selection of flavors. Although I wanted to try ALL of them, we got the Taro Souffle ($12.95). My girlfriend and I found these to be delicious!!! It came in a stack with the Taro drizzle cream that was not too sweet or overbearing. The souffle itself was so fluffy, airy, and delicate. I was afraid they would be dense, but that was not the case. They were cooked perfectly and paired well with the cream. The Taro flavor was a bit lacking, but nothing too major. Can't wait to try the other flavors when I am back in the area. The cashier was very nice and understanding. At first, we ordered to dine-in, but things unexpectedly took a turn and we had to take it to-go. They had already plated our souffle but were easily able to package it up for us. For that, I was grateful. So thank you!

Lindsay R.

Yelp
Really yummy! I wanted to try a soufflé from here for awhile and i'm glad I did. I ordered by doordash and it was really fresh and delicious. The strawberry taste was very delicious Thank you!!

A. K.

Yelp
Hooked! One bite and I was hooked. I'm counting down the days until I'm back in the area for another souffle. Ube coffee was delightful. But that souffle is what my dreams are made of. I've had a similar souffle at Cream Pot in Oahu but this souffle is so much better. And fun to jiggle. Stay for a spell after hitting the farmers market.

Vanessa L.

Yelp
Walked in around 4pm on a Wed w my bf. Very spacious cafe with 7 spaced out tables. Bathroom in the back hallway. Decent amount of people. The ube latte was definitely more coffee dominant but still good. The white peach oolong definitely had a more oolong aftertaste even with the lychee jelly added. Both were great! However, just on pricier side

Jaqylin B.

Yelp
Me and my bf came to this spot and were pleasantly surprised by the souflee. I had the matcha and my bf had the original it was nice and not overly sweet and very light. Definitely going to come back and try more flavors!

Susan L.

Yelp
Besides their soufflés, they make chiffon cakes. I was really shocked when I called in to see if they had any cakes left on a Thursday evening and the worker said they could make me one before I came in! Usually other bakeries only bake cake once and whatever is there is all they have for the day so I was REALLY impressed that they do same day orders! I called at 5pm and said I would come pick it up at 7, and she kindly said they'd make it around 6:30 so it'll be extra fresh for me when I came to pick up! Great customer service!

Cecilia S.

Yelp
Decided to see what all the hype is and was BLOWN AWAY. I was scared to try their signature soufflés because they looked insanely sweet, BUT they're not! They're nice and fresh as they make everything in-store right then and there. The cake is super airy and moist. The chocolate (or topping of your choice) is the perfect amount of sweetness that balances with the cake. The teas can be ordered to your liking, blended, ice, etc. And comes with or without boba. Prices run a little on the higher end but are worth the quality and atmosphere!

Mia B.

Yelp
First time being here and the souffle and drink was so good!! Pancake was so fluffy and the portion is appropriate for the price. The pancakes take a bit of time to come, maybe 10 mins but honestly I don't mind the wait since I know they make them fresh. The pancakes were still steaming hot when they came out. Would def come back and refer the place to the others. I just hope they open more branches in LA. So much potential!

Paula-Mertha C.

Yelp
After eating a delicious dinner in Fresno last month, my husband and I were both craving something sweet. Since we are both unfamiliar with Fresno, we consulted Yelp and discovered Fuwa Fuwa Souffle and Cafe. The staff here are quite friendly. The gentleman that helped us order was very nice and knowledgeable of the menu as well as the equipment since we had slight technical difficulties with the machine reading my husband's card. After another quick swipe, however, we were good to go. The souffle and drinks live up to the hype! We ordered a strawberry souffle to share. I ordered a jasmine milk tea, while my husband ordered a latte (I believe). The souffle was made to order, so it was still quite warm when we picked it up at the counter. After allowing it to cool off a bit, we both dug in. The souffle was delicious! It was nice and fluffy without being too sweet, which is perfect in my book. The milk tea was also quite delicious and paired well with the souffle. If my husband and I are ever in the Fresno area again, we will definitely dine at Fuwa Fuwa Souffle and Cafe again! Five stars!

Katie C.

Yelp
Fuwa Fuwa offers refreshing drinks and delicious fluffy Japanese souffles. While their visually appealing and rich ube latte is popular, I'm a fan of their milk teas. My favorites are the jasmine milk tea and peach oolong milk tea with boba. These drinks are great to enjoy while you shop around the complex. Now, for their souffles, these are super fluffy, jiggly, and packed with flavor. I enjoy their matcha flavor. This dessert is great to share. The cafe is spacious with plenty of seating.

Joe H.

Yelp
Came here for the souffle and did not disappoint! The cake was fluffy and the sweetness of the chocolate cream was just right.

Davimi J.

Yelp
Always love the soufflé and drink. No soufflé today coz we short on time to wait and eat :). Definitely try they soufflé coz it's very good.

Esther S.

Yelp
Ok so the soufflé tastes way better if you eat it there, it is super light and fluffy. I guess it starts collapsing pretty quickly? I like taro so I enjoyed their taro. I guess strawberry is one of their most popular flavors but friend said it was sweeter.

June Y.

Yelp
Delicious Japanese roll cakes and nicely decorated. I want to try their birthday cake next.

Candice F.

Yelp
Fuwa Fuwa is truly a unique dessert and cafe featuring Japanese Souffle Pancakes with a variety of toppings. They also offer a limited selection of drinks including specialty espressos, blended coffees and milk teas. The service is prompt and attentive. The staff are polite and helpful. The interior is spacious especially they're still abiding by social distancing guidelines for indoor dining. We ordered the boba souffle and a boba jasmine milk tea. Note that this is not a pickup and to go type of dessert. It takes about 10-15 minutes (although they quoted a bit more time). Upon first bite into the souffle, there is quite a refreshing and light egg custard like taste. It's quite nice with the whipped topping and boba topping. It's definitely meant to be shared as it comes with three stacked pancakes. Now it makes sense why the average price is over ten dollars. It would be nice if they either offered a mini version or a sampler of their souffle varieties. Now to the drink. There was nothing special in flavor. If anything it was quite watered down. The boba was uniquely soft and not too sweet. But for the price of $4.95 before the boba add on, it's quite pricy for a medium size (where other places offer that same price for a large). We couldn't see this as a place we would frequent as it is a bit expensive, large one size portion, and quite filling for the souffle. And the drink was quite unmemorable.

Sarah A.

Yelp
Finally got to try a FuwaFuwa soufflé. I've wanted one of these since I first saw them posted on Instagram months ago. FuwaFuwa also serves boba drinks, coffee drinks and teas. We visited on a Thursday evening. Friendly greeting when you walk in. Very spacious set up, tables and chairs and a very clean and minimalist decor vibe. There was a bit of a wait for the soufflé, 15-20 minutes so we decided to order 2 hot Jasmine teas to drink while we waited-very good-a slightly sweet flavor. We took the soufflé to go and it was still warm and delicious at home but I'd say these are best enjoyed right then. They are so pretty! The "cake" part of it is light and fluffy, sweet but not too sweet. The topping/cream had a great strawberry flavor. I'd like to try the chocolate flavor next.

Tasty! We tried the original and strawberry soufflé. The original was like a plain vanilla flavor. They're made to order, and it takes about 15 minutes. The soufflés are a good size! You should definitely split with at least another person, maybe even between 3 people easily. They're pillowy soft and satisfyingly jiggly! All the flavor comes from the whipped cream that's on the top. Even though they're so light, after a while it's hard to eat a lot, which is why I think sharing is the way to go. Caramel macchiato was good, nothing special. Ube latte, hot, was pretty tasty! Both had a delicious layer of foam on top.
