Fuzzy’s Tacos Plans to Open 40 Restaurants in Chicagoland - Eater Chicago

"Texas-based chain Fuzzy’s Taco Shop hopes to open 40 suburban locations. The brand operates around 150 restaurants in 17 states, offering Baja California-inspired fare like tacos, burritos, and quesadillas, as well as a full bar. The 'family-friendly, value-conscious' brand attracts attention for its low costs, with some locations offering tacos for $1.99. Fuzzy’s is now seeking suburban franchisees." - Daniel Gerzina

Always a great time at Fuzzys! The food was fabulous. Well prepared and tasty. They made some modifications to my wife’s food because she has lots of food allergies and it came out great. We will be back!

Want Fuzzy’s? Trust me, go to a different location. Not only did this location overcharge me and not know how to refund the money back to my card, but I also found an INSECT in my food (2 different visits, back to back issues). Background: (1) Refund issue - the cashier overcharged me on two items I didn’t ask for. When I noticed it on my receipt, I went back and kindly asked for a refund. The cashiers told me they didn’t know how to issue refunds. Eventually they reprinted my receipt without the two extra items and I thought all was good (event happened 3/29). Today is 5/9 (41 days later) and I still have not received a refund. I even contacted Fuzzy’s customer support twice (3/30 and 4/26) which both times I got a reply saying they contacted the store and should expect to hear from them in 3-5 business days and obviously I still haven't got a reply. (2) Insects in your food - photo speaks for itself. I’m a big fan of Fuzzy’s and have EASILY spent THOUSANDS of dollars ordering food for me, my family, friends and my team over the past 4 years, but ever since the location in Crossroads, TX closed down leaving me to come to this location in Prosper, our experience has GREATLY declined. As a group, we have all decided to stop ordering from this location due to bad customer service and the dirty environment. And unfortunately, maybe so should you. We have had good experiences at the McKinney, Frisco (Preston location), Denton and Little Elm stores. Try there, not here. Update * they still haven’t reached out to me even though I’ve reached out to them AGAIN and it’s now 6/27.

My wife and I came here last night. The place had decent reviews and we like to get out. The nachos with chicken look great and everything, however, the chicken wasn't cut up well enough to where the chicken was all stuck together in one clump. Both my wife and I ended up not feeling well after we ate her as well. The atmosphere was pretty neat though. Never seen a marlin with flames on it. The music was pretty modern as well.

The Fuzzys in Prosper has to be one of the Best Fuzzy's North of Dallas! The food is always fresh, the restaurant is always super clean. Customer Service is Always Top Tier!! The Mgr James is really cool and always makes sure your food and Fuzzy experience great. They have turned me into a weekly customer!! Also, Tio is the man in the kitchen.(Best Salsa Around)

As a taco enthusiast, I'm always on the lookout for new and exciting places to satisfy my cravings. Fuzzy's Taco Shop caught my attention with its quirky name and promises of flavorful tacos. I recently had the opportunity to visit one of their locations, and I must say, it was an enjoyable experience. Atmosphere: Fuzzy's Taco Shop has a laid-back and casual atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. The vibrant and colorful decor, along with the lively music playing in the background, creates a fun and energetic ambiance. The seating options are comfortable, and the overall vibe of the place makes it a great spot to hang out with friends or grab a quick meal. Menu Selection: The menu at Fuzzy's Taco Shop offers a wide variety of taco options, making it a haven for taco lovers. From classic choices like shredded beef and chicken to more adventurous options like tempura fish and shrimp, there's something for everyone. They also have vegetarian and vegan options, which is a plus for those with dietary preferences or restrictions. Apart from tacos, they offer other Tex-Mex favorites like quesadillas, burritos, and nachos. Food Quality and Flavor: When it comes to the most crucial aspect, the taste, Fuzzy's Taco Shop does not disappoint. The tacos are served on soft, freshly made tortillas, which add a delightful texture to each bite. The fillings are generous and well-seasoned, with the flavors coming together harmoniously. The tempura fish tacos were a standout for me, with the crispy coating complementing the tender fish perfectly. The salsa and sauces provided add an extra layer of flavor and zest to the tacos, elevating the overall experience. Service: The service at Fuzzy's Taco Shop was friendly and efficient. The staff members were attentive and helpful, guiding me through the menu and answering any questions I had. Value for Money: The prices at Fuzzy's Taco Shop are reasonable, considering the quality and quantity of the food. The portion sizes are generous, ensuring that you leave satisfied. They also offer combo meals and daily specials, providing additional value for money. It's a place where you can enjoy a delicious meal without breaking the bank. Overall, Fuzzy's Taco Shop is a good option for those looking for a casual and flavorful taco experience. With its welcoming atmosphere, diverse menu, tasty offerings, and affordable prices, it ticks all the right boxes for a memorable dining experience. Whether you're a taco aficionado or just looking for a tasty Tex-Mex meal, Fuzzy's Taco Shop is definitely worth a visit

1st visit to this location while visiting the Texas Tulips farm in Pilot Point (see separate review on Yelp 5 stars). We have eaten at other Fuzzy locations in Collin county and we got excellent service and food like the other locations. Best part for me was masks were optional for customers at this location. Restaurant is still practicing virus mitigation if that is important to you. We each got one of the limited special tacos (see photo) which was excellent. Food served fast and hot. Worth another visit to this and other locations for their tacos. Yummy!

Ordered through door dash everything was good except my burrito bowl didn’t have lettuce and our queso ground beef was very consolidated together. Not sure why they usually do better.

I truly enjoy this NEW location and far prefer it over the Fuzzy's on US 380 in Crossroads! Not only are they much more accurate with orders here versus the other location, but staff from management on down to the kitchen crew always seem genuinely more PLEASED to have my business. That's plenty of reason for me to keep coming back; though if that weren't enough it also happens to be MUCH closer to my home--so no complaints here! Maybe my only fuss is they aren't open late enough for my personal taste; however, that's fairly trivial to say the least. This location doesn't have enough near the door parking for peak meal times; so be forewarned if you are hoping to slip directly in & out the door on a very short lunch break. It's popular & becomes more so as people realize they don't have to drive to CROSSROADS anymore.
