Do yourself a favor… EAT AT GABI’S!!! Absolutely delicious. The staff is beyond kind and welcoming. Freddy, Martín, and Lilly? (I think I botched the last one sorry) so helpful with recommendations and made the whole visit amazing. Started with the street corn. Best I’ve ever had. Argentinian street tacos with carne asada and house made fresh chimichurri. Tears of joy. Also the best I’ve ever had. And the pièce de résistance, the colorado pork gordita. The most juicy yummy pork ever. Everything is made from scratch and it’s all amazing. I will definitely be back. Thank you guys!!

Fresh made gorditas with from scratch fillings. A great mix of authentic, unique and seasonal tastes. Definitely a go to place for a fresh take on this quick bite.

I came here today with my family for lunch, we thought that the food was pretty good, some of the things were a little overpriced. For example my quesadilla was almost 9 bucks.,... But overall the food was fairly good and we had a nice time, the people that work there are extremist, friendly and nice, the customer service was excellent!

Interesting gorditas. Brisket was excellent. Chicharron was okay. Steak and papas was great. I wish portions were larger. Owner is super passionate about his food, which makes it fun.

Food is great here! Had a gordita and quesabirria here. Gordita wasn’t with that heavy dough some places use for gorditas, it was just right without making you feel bloated. The quesabirria was great, done with queso Oaxaca rather than boring mozzarella cheese. It was just a small quesabirria but it was pretty big! Have plenty of stomach space to enjoy and fulfill. May need a towing truck to leave off the place LOL jk

The owner was so beyond great and generous. Food was delicious and organic. We got the Al Pastor and it was a perfect combination of sweet and savory. They had vegan and gluten free options. We were also able to get some tacos and quesadillas for the kiddos without it being spicy. All around a great place to eat. We will definitely be back again.

Great food! Small eat in but this food is fresh & great. The inside was clean and cute. Friendly and helpful staff. They added crispy quesadillas for kids to make more kid friendlier. Family run. My teen would eat there again. I didn’t know this is what Gorditas looked like or could taste like. I tried black bean and a chicken option. Both yummy. There is a bit of a spice but not too much for me. Found them on Groupon.

Place was clean. We had a Groupon so it was our first time in. We had the brisket and papas gorditas. The side was a quesadilla. Food was fine but the lady helping us was rude and not patient.

Yelp
What a tasty place for casual bites! I was wanting to order some vegetarian style tacos and decided the Rajas Con Queso tacos- roasted poblans, grilled peppers and onions, with Oaxaca cheese. These no-meat tacos were super delicious and filling. My order was delivered well packed and still warm by the time it came to my door. I will definitely be ordering from Gabi's again!

Yelp
Want for try unique, flavorful tacos? This place is it. If I'm in the mood for tacos, this is my go-to spot. It's in a great location on blue Diamond. They make their food to order, so it's fresh. It is small inside so it wouldn't accommodate a large party of people. The Gorditas were okay in my opinion. Nothing special, but their tacos are mouth watering. The Mexican corn is also Amazing. They also have taco Tuesday specials also. Great customer service. You do have to wait a little bit for the food since it made to order. (15-20 minutes on average). It's a must try if you are in the area.

Yelp
Gabi's Gorditas is a neighborhood gem. I haven't tried any of the gorditas because it's the tacos that keep me coming back again and again. Well, the tacos and the owner Freddy. I don't think I've ever met a business owner more passionate about his food and business than Freddy. He's there to greet every single one of his customers. This isn't your typical Mexican food joint with typical flavors and garnishes. This is unique flavors and recipes giving you a different Latin culinary experience. I've had a large selection from the menu and always make note of what I want to try on my next visit, but I end up ordering some of my favorites every time. One day I'll be able to say I've tried the whole menu. Some of my favorites are the surf and turf tacos (that chimichurri sauce sets it apart from any other surf and turf tacos I've had), the shrimp birria tacos, the fish tacos, and the birria quesadilla (made with brisket so again, it's different) and the agua fresca offerings are unique too. On my last visit I had the dragon fruit lychee and strawberry horchata. And I can't forget about the elote. They were actually sold out on my first visit, but I've had it on other visits and it's so good and a huge portion. I suggest you stop in on Taco Tuesday when they have a selection of tacos for $2 and $3 and try a few different ones. You'll be sure to find some favorites. And don't forget to try one of their house made agua frescas while you're there. So happy to have been introduced to Freddy and Gabi's Gorditas. It's one of my favorite local spots in Vegas.

Yelp
This place has a bit more potential than it's delivering. I wouldn't say our experience was bad, but the service was subpar. The worker greeted no one and looked unhappy during our whole interaction. I tried the steak and papas gordita which was honestly very good, but a little overpriced. Maybe I just eat too much Lol but 1 gordita which is about $10 was not enough. I was still hungry after I finished eating. My boyfriend tried the chicken tacos. He said they were good, but didn't understand why they had green beans and zucchini on them Lol he was expecting a different type of vegetable. All in all, if they improved their customer service, I think this place would be worth our loyalty.

Yelp
I'm going to get straight to the point... won't be going back. First time I had a gordita it was a fresh handmade corn tortilla that was stuffed with delicious choice of meat. Here I ordered a papa & steak gordita 1) way overpriced $10 for a 5" pita. with meat & potatoes. Sorry no, no, no. It was literally a $10 snack. The workers were super friendly and patient while we decided on our order but these are not true gorditas. And the wait was long. Sorry.

Yelp
We are always in search of a great taco, especially on Tuesday!! Taco Tuesday is definitely my FAVORITE day ever!!! We wanted to support a relatively new spot in our area. If you follow me, you know my HEART is with LOCAL business. Always my go to choice! I saw a little bit about Gabi's Gorditas I think on TikTok and I know owner is a father and raising his kids. You get mad props and respect from me on that so as a single mom who raised 2 amazing humans, I'm supporting any local business that we share any commonality. We got the Rajas (veggie) Cubanito & Chile Negro tacos, Mexican corn and a horchata & Ube lemonade drink. BABY!!!! Those Rajas tacos were AMAZING!!! The Cubanito was great, seasoned well and a lot of meat! The Chile Negro taco has an amazing burst of flavors that are DELISH! Can't wait to try more! Our drinks were delicious, Ube Lemonade and Mango Horchata yummy!!! It was dessert for us! Can't wait to go back and try more! They open at 6pm FYI and taco Tuesday, mostly all tacos are $2! You can't beat that! I was so hungry that I forgot to take pics of our tacos lol they were so delicious! Support Local!

Yelp
We picked this up as our Friday to go meal, the price was very affordable, it's super convenient to our home and parking lot is always full of parking. The service was great & the restaurant was very clean. However, the meat on the tacos were lacking flavor. I needed to cut my own onions, cilantro & limes to add to my taco and dip to really give it the flavors it was needing. We may try again in the future but for now we'll probably still get the tacos a tad further away from us.

Yelp
This place is a must try! Yes there are A LOT of taco place in LV but flavor is the key and this place pack flavor in its food. I just had the tacos but it was very good!! On my next trip I will try the gorditas! Oh and their salsas are awesome... u like spicy get the hottes one. I wished though they put a lil more mayo and crema on the elotes. Check this place out ... u might like ... I did and I'll be back!! Oh yea ... I think this would be a great sit down restaurant... they just have stools.

Yelp
This was my first time coming here and most likely will be my last. I ordered the Tostones, Platanos Madurso, and the 5" Carne Asada a La Argentina Gordita. I ordered the food through the Yelp app at 6:34pm. I checked back at 7:15pm and the app said my food was ready for pick up. When I arrived, I was met with one gentleman yelling the question "are you here for a pick up order?," I replied yes. He gave me a "side-eye" look as he turned away saying it wasn't ready yet. I stood there until 8:05pm when I finally got my food in hand. The same man was apologetic for the long wait, but I wasn't able to accept that. The taste of the food is forgettable; the best item was the Platanos Madurso, and those were just 'ok.' Overall, I was/am not happy with the experience.

Yelp
I've never had gorditas before until last night. We've been wanting to try this place for a while and we finally got the chance to do so. We ordered the following items - the Quesa-Birria for us to share, the Grilled Chicken Gordita for me, and the Al Pastor Gordita for my boyfriend. The Quesa-Birria was full of flavor with pickled red onions to finish off on top. Both Gorditas were very small but still very flavorful and packed with numerous ingredients, such as potatoes and vegetables. We also got a thing of sweet plantains, but to me they weren't very good and lacked flavor. I let my boyfriend have the rest. Service was friendly and very quick. We were the only customers there so we were in and out in less than 10 minutes. It is a smaller restaurant so it can be viewed as a take out place for some people. Great food overall, but the reason why I removed a star is because it was very expensive for small portions of food. It was around $30 for just three small items. If the portions were bigger, I wouldn't mind the price.

Yelp
What a great find! I've been wanting to visit this spot since they opened, but it took my sometime to make it over that way. The tortillas are made fresh when you order them, right in front of you... and the food is fresh and fantastic! There was also an UBE drink special so I had to get it, and of course it was fantastic as well. All this great food and drink paired up with excellent, friendly service makes this a new regular spot!

Yelp
I had a Groupon that was about ready to expire but now that summer was out I would be able to finally stop in at a convenient time. I got there a few minutes before 11 so they hadn't even unlocked the door yet. I did get a little worried as the times on Yelp didn't match with their website, but right after 11 they unlocked the door and let me in. It's a small but cute little kitchen. The tiling gives you a comforting homey feel. I ended up talking with the Owner, Freddy and he said it's just him and one other guy who work there. I had wanted to get some concha but I was too dang early. I knew I wanted the shrimp birria tacos but I felt like I wanted something else too. Well the salesman he is and he believes in his product, he talked me into getting a spicy honey salmon taco and the shrimp ceviche. I had an enjoyable conversation about business and food as I had seen him post in local Facebook groups. Since I was the only one there it wasn't a burden and I feel like he enjoyed a positive interaction with a customer. I also used my Yelp check in and got a fruit punch agua fresca. So I didn't get my concha's but Freddy definitely knows he has a good thing because that spicy honey salmon taco was so flavorful and delicious I was beside myself. I was almost angry I didn't order the full trio! It was topped with Mike's Hot honey that gave it that sweetness and punch that tingled on your lips but didn't scorch and ruin your mouth from tasting the freshness. The shrimp tacos were also amazing! I actually could only eat one and ended up eating the other two for dinner and they held up nicely. The shrimp ceviche was nice and fresh and they gave me a tostada on the side so that it wouldn't get soggy. I appreciate when places think about the to-go packing process. The agua fresca was thick and pulpy and everything I love about agua fresca! Now that I'm off for summer I will definitely make a point in stopping in again. Hopefully I can time it just right to avoid the crowds but also get some concha. I'm definitely getting the spicy honey salmon tacos again! Highly recommended!!!

Yelp
First things first, call before driving over. I have driven over on two separate occasions during what google said were opening hours and they were closed. They aren't open Wednesdays. The second time, I'm not sure why they were closed. But it was fine because the mediterranean restaurant next-door is good as well. Now, the third time I went, I actually got food and was amazed with the first few bites, but soon after the amazement wore off and I could really start to taste. Guess I started off really hungry. I've had birria tacos from about six different places and this place was 2nd or 3rd best for me. These tacos look very pretty. I love the consome. Very different than the other places, as it is a bright red color instead of a soupy brown. Place is small but cute and clean. I work down the street so I took it to-go. Service was fine, although the guy who took my order didn't seem too welcoming. I didn't get enough sleep last night, so I could really careless. Lol hope he has a good day though! Price was as expected. I've had birria tacos with more meat in it, but they lacked toppings. This one is proportionally fair.. in my opinion, but my husband would probably say it doesn't have enough meat. The taco seemed to lack salt and I couldn't taste cilantro at all, and I LOVE cilantro. I could have added fresh cilantro and maybe also fresh onion. That would have probably made a huge difference for me.. I will go back to try the gorditas..

Yelp
I've eaten chorizo since I was a teen. But never have I had it quite like this. And I mean that in the worst way possible. It was extremely too chewy. So much so to the point where I thought the cook accidentally put the wrong type of meat inside of my quesadilla. Even the cheese that was used in my quesadilla was extremely chewy. The three stars are solely for the seemingly authentic & great tasting esquites (Mexican corn).

Yelp
I love the food here! I have stopped by a couple times and tried different gorditas, the quesa birria and argentian tacos, mexican corn and the ube horchata - it all taste amazing! The owner, Freddy goes out of his way to explain the detail of all the best and fresh ingredients he uses to make the food experience so good!

Yelp
I recently gave up hope that my cafeteria's, I mean complex Taco Tuesday food would satisfy this weekly desire. That lead me to discover the awesome that was the hyper-local Gabis Gorditas. This Taco Tuesday feast included the Mexican Corn [Chipotle Mayonnaise, Spiced Rim, Cotija, Cilantro, Lime], Birria Shrimp Tacos [stuffed shrimp tacos cooked in butter tomatoes onions jalapeños in oxaca cheese with Chipotle mayo & chimichurri topped with red pickled onions and queso fresco], and always when available, a Mexican Coke! This place reminded me of many of the super authentic spots I had growing up in Chicago. Everything was fire. The corn matched what I bought in Cancun Mexico from a street vendor too. All legit. The birria and shrimp tasted super fresh and beyond flavorful. I totally recommend this friends.

Yelp
I heard this was a family business so it's a must that we come support ! Normally I would try a burrito but there are certain things I would omit. I went with the Al Pastor tacos, topped with pineapple chunks. I don't like salsa or cilantro, so this was perfect for me. When you check in through Yelp, you also get a free agua fresca , in this case there was ube lemonade (ube what! I love anything UBE! ) And a mango horchata . The gentleman let me taste both first ! I went with the mango horchata because it was so creamy ! We were also thanked for coming in , which we appreciate!

Yelp
I don't know why I didn't come sooner!!! This place has been on the bucket list and tonight my husband and I gave it a try. We each order a Gordita that came with chips along with sharing quesadilla-birria . The flavors were amazing and the meal made us satisfied not overly full since we came for dinner. The restaurant has two built in bar style seating . It was very clean and very upscale urban vibes . They workers was super and gave us some chicharonnes to snack on while they worked on our food! We will definitely be back and bring more people to the experience Gabi's.

Yelp
I want to start by saying the cashier was rude upon taking my order. I ordered two Cubana gorditas for my mother and I the Maza was raw. I also ordered a side of tostones super dry. For the high price very disappointed in my food definitely will not be back.

Yelp
This place is amazing. Hats off to Alfredo the owner. With all of his history in the restaurant business, in's and out's, he's really put it to the test here. Love his vision of healthier take out food! Let's go!! The in house drinks are killer. The ube pudding is delicious! We tried a few Gordita's! The Al pastor, La Cubana and surf and turf. All were amazing. The pozole was kicking especially on a cold night. Pickled cabbage hit the spot! Not only will you be greeted and treated like family, you will enjoy the wide variety of flavors here. Nice and clean inside and so many things to try. We look forward to come back again!

Yelp
This was my first time having gorditas. Coming from the East, there aren't a lot of restaurants serving those sandwiches. Like others who have posted reviews, I had a Groupon for the 2 gorditas, a side, and a drink. I was greeted immediately on entering. I told the gentleman I had a Groupon and he asked me what I wanted. I ordered a Colorado pork loin and a tinga de pollo gordita. For a side, I took the crunchy quesadilla, and I ordered a horchata for my drink. The man marked the Groupon used and we chatted while a woman started to work making the meal. I decided to eat in as I was the only customer. I had a chance to see her roll the masa into the round shapes needed to make the gorditas and the quesadilla. The food was placed in plastic baskets lined with paper. The horchata was excellent. The gentleman told me it was made in house the real way instead of using powder dissolved with water. My favorite of the two gorditas was the tinga de pollo. Good spiciness--I had also chosen the hottest sauce and that made it extra special. He warned me to use that hot sauce with caution! The meat was so juicy that the bread got soggy and it was harder to eat. I ended up using my plasticware to finish the sandwich. The bread was also very hot because she had just fried it on the grill. This might be a place I come back and get takeout, but I'm hesitant about that because of the distance from where I live. I'm afraid the masa would be soaked through by the time I got to eat it. Maybe go and eat in again. Having something different is good!

Yelp
First, Freddy is AMAZING!!! He's so personable and great energy!!! Second, the colorful and clean interior is super cute gives an authentic feel to the place. Lastly, the food bangs!!! What more do you need!

Yelp
If you love Latin flavors this is this spot. Be it Cuban, Argentinian, or Mexican. They cover all bases here. You can taste the quality and freshness, with house made chimichurris, guacamole and salsas. At this point I've tried pretty much everything on the menu and never been disappointed. Some of my favorites are the birria quesadilla, Argentinian gorditas and the chorizo and potato tacos. The owner is really friendly and will explain the menu and origins of some of the menu items. And everything is made to order. Definitely my number 1 pick in the southwest side of town. And quite possibly all of Vegas

Yelp
Pretty good menu. Not the Taco Bell Gordita here. A authentic Mexican Gordita if you have not tried it. You are missing out and an amazing mouth watering Mexican food. We tried the chicken tinga and the rajas with cheese. Was only looking for a snack m for not. But will definitely return to try the other flavors.

Yelp
My wife and I ordered La Cubana Gordita, the Carne Con Chile Colorado Gordita, Yuca, and Pozole and let me tell you...it's unreal. Locals will love this spot! ‍

Kyle B.

Yelp
Came here to grab some food as I've heard this place is supposed to be amazing. Came to a locked door with people inside even though it says hours were supposed to be 11am to 3pm. Tried calling to see if someone would pick up and maybe the door was locked accidentally but of course nobody answered. What a waste of time and gas for something they advertised to be open.

Yelp
Delicious Food! Great & fast service! This is something new for us and I'm so glad we gave it a try. My first ever Gordita was a WIN! The Ube drink was a little too sweet for me but my bf liked it. I personally liked the mint lemonade more. Definitely coming back!

Yelp
The food is disgusting. I literally spent 40.00 and ordered the burrito that was extremely greasy. The tacos were horrible and the birria gordita is the worse I ever tasted. The pita bread was stuck together. This place is garbage and good luck to anyone who goes to this place. I promise you will be extremely disappointed. This is probably one worse food places I been to for a while. Yuk!!!

Yelp
Very small place with good tacos . Owner was nice and helpful. Thank you my order was perfect

Yelp
Went tonight for taco Tuesday at 6:15. Place was closed and looks like it's permanently closed. ‍

Yelp
Hubby and I stopped here to pick up a quick dinner to take home for the two of us. We had the La Cabana, Colorado Pork, Argentina tacos, Mexican Corn and Ube Pudding. I had heard great things about this restaurant in a Facebook group and the reviews were spot on. The owner was very friendly and shared info about the premium ingredients he uses and in-house preparation. He also let us try the pozole and that will definitely be on our order next visit! LaCubana - It had just the right amount of sweetness to go with the beef which was night and tender and flavorful. The beans also paired well with the mix and we're not overpowering to the dish. Colorado pork - very tender pork, good flavors. Argentina Tacos - tender carne asada, red onions and chimmichurri added good flavor to these Mexican Corn - nice flavor, just the right amount of spices added. Ube Pudding - nice and creamy texture, the fruit and coconut on top were a nice added sweetness to the Ube. Overall - we will definitely be back. I'm sad we waited this long to try it now! If I could give it 6 stars, I would have!

Yelp
Food tasty, but $12 Gordita the size of my palm... $15 with an Orange Jarrito! I wish I made more per hour!

Yelp
Fun pops of color right away with a simple clean palette inside. Walk up order window with digital menus up above. Staff was 100%, so nice, helpful with what's popular, attentive, really shined! Now onto the main course...Let's dive right in...face first into the goodness...The Birria Gordita was a home run! It was full of flavor in the best tasting flour tortilla pouch; I could eat the tortilla pouches all by themselves! Chicharrones were served with our gorditas and we tried 3 of the 4 salsas for dipping. Each salsa had amazing flavor and were perfect for the "chips". Marinated onions & carrots are on top with oaxaca cheese. The Colorado was delicious and 3 napkin messy. Sweet plantains rounded out this delicious lunch. They aren't too sweet but just right and topped with coconut shreds. All in, what a great spot to hit that Mexican food craving.

Yelp
Driving up and down Blue Diamond I kept noticing this new spot to eat at. Finally, we decided to give it a try and I am glad we did. Service was great, the gentleman answered all the questions we had about the size of gorditas, etc. We decided to try multiple groditas and all of them were incredibly tasty. Make sure to get the elote! Clean restaurant, plenty of parking and delicious food. Need I say more?

Yelp
Driving down blue Diamond and seen Gabi's Gorditas and decided to drop in for a bite. The Owner was the one assisting us with placing a order. He had great recommendations and was considerate of my dietary restrictions. It was pretty cool that he took his time and told us about the how they prepare the food and where they get it from. All organic veggies. No preservatives. Restaurant is extremely clean and the vibe was chill.

Yelp
We tried Gabi's Gorditas for the first time today, and will definitely be back again. The owner immediately greeted us and gave us all the information to answer any questions we could have, including item availability, size of tacos and gorditas, popular items. He was very good with our dietary restrictions. He made sure my items were gluten free and warned my husband what items had dairy. Everything was delicious! I had tacos, my husband had a Gordita, and because they were out of cheese for quesadillas (the cheese came right as we were finished) my son had plain grilled chicken tacos. The "chips" weren't gluten free, so I didn't try them but my husband and son reported that they were tasty. The spicy salsa was very flavorful too. Im glad we stopped in and gave it a try!

Yelp
Ordered online and they sent a dry gordita in a paper wrapper. They also did not include the chips shown in the photo when you order.

Yelp
Absolutely horrible food. No decency to season the salmon or any other meat with the tacos. The quesadilla lacked any cheese, as flat as a piece of paper. The tortillas on the taco and quesadillas were old and tough, absolutely shameful. Add on top of the fact the prices were too high for what you get. Very poor, do better!

Yelp
Excellent food, service was moderately quick, customer service was below average. I asked if they could place Birria in tacos and the response was flat out "no". Asked for a side of consume the answer was "no it wouldn't taste good, have you even tried it?" The staff replied later as to why they didn't recommend the consume or why they didn't carry it but the tone and delivery was a bit rude or at least perceived as rude. Anyways I recommend the burritos as they're a decent size and rather filling for one person. I'm curious to come back and try some of their other options.

Yelp
If you are looking for an authentic Gordita this is NOT it. I literally paid 80 dollars for can food. Their Pastor was extremely salty that it wasn't edible and had to throw away. Completely overpriced, stingy and misleading advertising.

Yelp
I can't comment on the service because it was done through delivery to my job. The food though is incredible. I got the birria Gordita and it was amazing. I loved every bite of it and there was consome also. It was amazing. I also got the corn cup which was great also. They also package the meat seperately so it doesn't get soggy.

Yelp
Checked out a new place while we are on the southwest side of the valley today - Gabi's Gorditas! recommend. Best street tacos I've ever had. No competition! Jeremy loved his birria quesadilla. The kids DEVOURED their street tacos and we had to order a second round for them. If you have kids this age you know when I'm saying this was a WIN that it was a WIN ! They ate SIX of these tacos and they were "safe" for sister which is hard for restaurant foods. If you are on the West side or get down this way be sure to get out here and support small business! Service was terrific and quick!

Yelp
Stopped by wanting to try a gordita, but it was Taco Tuesday, so they weren't serving them that day :( but no worries! Because the tacos have the same fillings and since they're smaller, you can try even more options! Everything tasted great, my favorite was probably the al pastor and my friend loved the one with pork belly. Got a craving for tacos? Definitely give this place a try!

Yelp
Absolutely amazing customer service and the food is so delicious! We had the Steak and Papas Gordita along with Salmon Tacos. Both were excellent! We topped it off with a slice of cheesecake with the hibiscus sauce. So good!

Yelp
Stop the car and go in!!!! This place is so good! Everything is made right then and there and so fresh! Its worth dining in. We tried 2 different gorditas and tacos. The birria is perfect and not soaked in sauce like other places. The brisket! Mouth watering and my husband is very picky about his brisket being from Texas. We cant decide on a favorite. Try everything on the menu. You wont be disappointed. Their peach mango drink is even so delicious and I am not a juice kinda person. I cant wait to come back but in the meantime I have leftovers!
