Four generations in, this 1921 Sicilian market still turns out beloved sausages—including Pueblo‑chile links—along with stacked sandwiches and imported staples. Featured by regional journalists, it’s a living thread to the steel city’s immigrant roots.

Google
Awesome little Italian market. Reminds me of New York where I grew up. Glad they offer deli sandwiches again! Try their stuffed shells and pick out a nice marinara sauce from the shelf. Grab some Romano or Parmesan from the fridge. Support a local business with over 100 years of experience!

Google
Great sandwiches! Be aware that they stop making them at 3pm, not at their normal closing time of 4pm. Just show up a little early for the best grub in Pueblo.

Google
This restaurant is a Must try!! The food is all authentic and absolutely Delicious 😋. The staff is always super nice and the food is most definitely always on point. Everyone owes it to themselves to try this special gem in Pueblo.

Google
We decided to have a dutch lunch for our daughter's birthday party and the meat trays we ordered were a big hit! From the service to the quality, Gagliano's is the absolute best!

I’m happy Small little we stopped here on the way back home to Houston. Nice small Italian grocery that reminds me of Central Grocery in New Orleans. I got the Muffuletta, of course, and wasn’t disappointed. Food was excellent. Service was fast and friendly. The place was a little cramped, but that just added to the charm. Parking was a little tight, but we managed ok. I’ll definitely be back if we are up this way again.

Google
Love this market. I went in hoping I could find gluten free flour and was not disappointed! In addition to caputo fioreglut flour, they have gf pasta, sweets, bread and even frozen gf ravioli. I wish there were more dry pasta options. But, was pleasantly surprised with what they did have! I’d love to see gf sandwich options and gf potica. But, this is a win in my world.

Google
Awesome deli! I bought hot Italian sausage, homemade sauce and a bag of pasta for under $20. More than enough to feed a family of four.

Google
Haven’t been there in years. Still looks the same. Great food whatever you need you can find. Definitely worth the trip. We will be back soon

Yelp
I lived in Pueblo in 2000, found Gagliano's And fell in love with the Supremo Bread, Italian Sausage and Potica Bread. Everything they offer will delight your palette.

Yelp
1 million times, yes I recommend Gagliano's Italian Market! I know my order was short of noticed.. but Bonnie and her brother made my dreams come true. I now have 12 employees with their bellies full. I absolutely love supporting local businesses and I am going to put Gagliano's on my rotation list. From their incredibly friendly staff, fresh and high quality ingredients, to decor, this market has it all.

Yelp
This place is fantastic, couldn't be happier with the sandwiches, which are huge by the way. Go on a Saturday and get the grinder, so good! Amazing selection of authentic Italian, I will definitely be back.

Yelp
I stopped by for lunch today and got an Italian sandwich. The portion was huge and well worth the visit! Glad I found Gagliano's :-) will be back for more delicious sandwiches.

Yelp
Wow! This is one great Italian Deli with just about everything you'd want. They have been serving exceptional Italian sandwiches and other items for over 100 years. They know how to do it right and they do it consistently. The sandwich I had was large, filling and delicious. The generous portion of muffaletta, sausage and meats were perfect. Service was prompt and friendly. It was fun to look around the store at all the imported Italian delicacies while we waited for the sandwiches to be prepared fresh and to order. There is no seating so be prepared for takeaway. Glad I found this place.

Yelp
Muffuletta heaven. If I am in Pueblo, you'll find me here. Amazing selection of Italian groceries.

Yelp
Wanted to try a new baked zucchini fritter recipe and needed Pecorino cheese. (never heard of it) I looked it up and knew the only place I could find it was at Gagliano's. This little store has been around for more than 90 years and is an authentic Italian market. I found the cheese and it was already shredded. The nice man who helped me knew just what I wanted. The lovely "little" man at the counter was so sweet! They have everything you would need for an Italian meal or sandwich. I will go again for a sandwich.

Yelp
This is our first shopping stop when visiting Pueblo. Wonderful Italian market with everything high quality including bread, cold cuts, fresh local cheese, cookies, homemade pastas, Italian merchandise. Love the hospitality!

Yelp
Authentic Italian done right. Amazing lunch spot for a deli sandwich. You can buy all your Italian favorites in the market as well. It's doesn't get more legitimate than this.

Yelp
sandwich was chopped full of meat and ingredients. i was on a road trip and it lasted me the next 6 hours

Yelp
This is an amazing little deli doing a land office business when we dropped in after finding it on Yelp. The sandwiches were fabulous! Wonderful atmosphere! Great service, as well. We felt like we were back in Calabria, Italy. The sausage and bread were homemade. We had the specialty, the sausage grinder with provolone.
google avatar

Steve E.

Yelp
The best Italian sandwiches anywhere I've ever been. It's a must try! Real Italian people running an Italian grocery store and deli
google avatar

Michelle D.

Yelp
We had the muffuletta sandwich. It was a huge pile of sliced cold cuts on a large Italian roll. The olive salad was a spicy addition that really made the sandwich. My husband and I split it and we were both stuffed. I'm glad we stopped here. It's a small, local deli that is worth visiting.

Yelp
Such a cute little store with the best sandwich I have ever had. Friendly service and the cashier was as cute as he could be.

Yelp
Greatness personified - with a really impressive attitude toward customer service. The owner is very personable with the kind of approach every small business owner should strive for. The place has that classic vibe which makes perfect sense since they've been in business for over 100 years! I don't use exclamation points often, but if I do, it means something. Their Italian sausage and spicy Italian sausage are both deserving of praise and exclamation!!!

Yelp
It doesn't get more home grown and Italian than Gagliano's. And you would've never known this magical market exists being tucked away in a residential street in Pueblo. Parking is limited so don't be surprised if you'll need to park a couple houses down. It's well worth the extra steps. As soon as you walk in you can feel the authenticity and homeliness. From the black and white checkered decor to the traditional Italian pasta to the smell of the fresh deli steps away from the front door. When I tell you Gagliano's has everything and anything your Italian heart could ever desire, I truly mean it. Pizzelle machines, unique pasta shapes, frozen meals to take home, authentic olive oils, kitchen utensils, Italian tomatoes, you name it. I've visited Gagliano's with zero intentions of purchasing a single item but will always walk out of there with both hands full of goodies. Their sandwiches from the deli are fresh, delicious and completely customizable that come with plain lays chips and a can of soda. And shareable in size. They also offer different cuts of meat for purchase. The veal *chefs kiss* Thank you Gagliano's for always making me feel at home.

Ted S.

Yelp
Good variety of sausage, meats and cheese. Lots of Italian ingredients. Good service.

Collin K.

Yelp
I went to order a sandwich. I didn't see any on the menu. I asked do you make sandwiches? She responded with a complicated answer about December being different. I asked her, so do you make sandwich sandwiches today. Her response was a snotty, "I answered your question." She was wasn't busy at all. She needs to find a new line of work.

Yelp
Oops, hit the wrong star rating. This place is fantastic and they will answer any questions you have. Regular stop for us!

Yelp
This is the real deal. Absolutely fantastic selection, but leave large butts or bags at home as the aisles are very narrow and you'll be elbow to elbow! We had lasagna and some other dishes to heat up for dinner at an airbnb, and it was superb. Bought lots of stuff to bring home, too. Perfection.

Bubs D.

Yelp
Great muffaleta!!!!Superb olive salad....smooth not coarse....SO MUCH MEAT!!!Capicola outstanding...can't say enough good things about this sandwich. Super friendly people. Really glad I stopped on way back to Denver from Santa Fe....it's close by freeway. Awesome Italian Grocery...just like the old days...aren't many left sad to say...

Kelly C.

Yelp
All the reviews are spot on. Amazing sandwiches. Friendly service. Worth the stop if you are driving through. A thousand times better than the McDonald's that the kids are begging for. Lots of cool stuff to look at, pre-prepared food items to cook at home. We ordered ahead and sandwiches were ready when we got there. I can't say I know what an authentic Italian market looks like, but it feels like something out of the movies in an old Boston neighborhood. We will come back for sure.

Yelp
Stopped here on a road trip and really happy I did. The business has been open for over 100 years and you can see why, clearly it's family owned locals probably enjoy many of the Italian items in the store. I got a sandwich for the road and completely enjoyed it! Worth the stop and really sweet cashier inside. Check it out

Maggie D.

Yelp
It's very small. The selection could be a little better. But this town loves them. I have no shame in saying I'm a food snob originally from the West Coast. Life is too short for mediocre food.

Juana L.

Yelp
If you are anywhere and I mean anywhere near this restaurant I highly recommend making a stop here! I ordered the #1 Capicola & Genoa Salami with Provolone. This is hands down one of the best sandwiches I've ever had! The family that owns it is very kind & there's lots of amazing things in their shop to purchase as well.

Pam D.

Yelp
Always a great experience when we visit Gagliano's. Great staff. Great service. Love the Italian sausage, limoncello dessert, & Badabing bread. On bulk orders, I order in advance - like having it packaged to my specification, frozen, & ready for my freezer.

Kathy Z.

Yelp
We loved the deli sandwiches. We bought their homemade spaghetti sauce. It was the best ever. We will go back there every time we go through Pueblo.

Jack J.

Yelp
Outstanding sandwiches and a lovely deli! The fresh pasta and sauces are very nice as well.

Michelle B.

Yelp
Yes! Stop here for amazing sandwiches. 1/2 mile off freeway. Adorable and delicious and had some gluten free items.

David S.

Yelp
Love it! Great selection and friendly service. Everything you'd expect from an Italian Deli! Everything is top notch!
google avatar

Bo N.

Yelp
We loved the sandwiches, but the atmosphere is fun too. I could have spent a paycheck in there. The only thing I was disappointed about... they were out of meatballs for the sandwiches. That's ok though, just means I'll have to go back.

Yelp
Can't get enough of this place. Introduced a coworker this week as well while we were in town. Such a hidden gem and so authentic. Minus one star because if you wanna eat your Sammy and take in the vibes there is no where to do so.
google avatar

Anita P.

Yelp
Rating this just on the Supremo Bread alone. Oh my! This speaks to us snobby East Coast Italians. Not sure I've ever had a bread this good, and I've had plenty. Filled with ham, salami, pepperoni, Pueblo chilies, and mozzarella. Bring it home in frozen state and bake to delicious perfection. The peppers are a beautiful addition. My family back East would go bonkers for this. What a find. Thanks, Denver Post, for the story on this mom and pop. Worth the drive from the Springs. Will try sausage next.

Yelp
+ Growing up in the 40's and 50's in Pueblo on the south side Mesa Junction area by the CF&I Steel Mill is the most authentic Italian marker ever! Gagliano's has been open for over a 100 years. EVERY THING Italian is available and their Italian Sausage with Pueblo Chili's is the best ever! I always bring a cooler to take goodies home. This place has not changed much since the 40's.
google avatar

Steve M.

Yelp
This is the historic Pueblo staple you must visit every time you're in town. Walking in the store, joy and happiness will wash over you. It looks the same way it did when I was growing up in the 60s and 70s. It's crammed full of delicious italian and european treats that you don't usually see at a grocery store. Stock up on unique pastas, sauces, dolci (sweets), breads, and knickknacks. Make sure to take home some of the frozen breads in the cooler. They're stuffed with authentic italian meats and cheeses. When you prepare them for your family, you'll be a star. Taking a sandwich to go's a great move. Or visit their sandwich shop around the corner to sit down and enjoy a meal you won't forget.
google avatar

Yelp
Great food! We've tried the muffuletta, meatball, sausage, and Italian sandwiches. What can we say - we love their food! They also have a great assortment of cheese and meats as well as homemade meals such as ravioli, lasagna, as well as desserts. Comfort food at it's finest! Great service and a welcoming atmosphere as well. Love this place!

Yelp
Another GEM found. Once again as vacationers in Colorado our host...my sister had taken us to Gagliano's and this little market/deli was amazing. Food was fabulous, the owners were very kind and friendly and this little establishment was just perfect. Please if you live or visit Colorado this is a place that you shouldn't miss. Enjoy and Manjia Manjia...

Kitty R.

Yelp
Because you want to buy everything, this is a very "dangerous" place to shop. The service is great and the food we bought was delicious. So many interesting items.
google avatar

Rob L.

Yelp
It is as authentic a neighborhood Italian deli as they come. A little tight inside but you can call your order in and grab and go.

Tiffany R.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing!! Wonderful find. We visited Gagliano's for the first time today. We were looking for a place to grab a quick lunch while on our family's summer road trip when we came across Gagliano's Italian Market. We ordered the muffuletta, meatball and roast beef sandwiches. They were hands down some of the best sandwiches we have ever eaten. The kids devoured them and asked to stop again on the return trip home. The grocery is really neat too. Could not resist and bought some of their fresh Italian sausage, vanilla pizzelles, olives, a lasagna and their Badabing bread. The people are incredibly nice and excellent service. Highly recommend a stop.

Randy K.

Yelp
I've been coming here to get olive oil and sausage for a couple of years now and won't go anywhere else. It's family owned and sourced. Everything I've had, from the sandwiches and tiramisu to the flavorful sausages, have ruined me for anything else. Give them your business. The family that runs it are so nice and accommodating.
google avatar

Francesca B.

Yelp
Amazingly delicious Italian foods, including sandwiches. I got the muffaletta and also a bunch of things from the store. The Supremo bread was really good, but definitely heavier and more expensive than I'd realized. Wasn't paying attention and spent 25 dollars on the stuffed bread alone! However, it probably could've fed like 8 to 10 people. It was a bit too much grease when heated because of the meats and cheese, so perhaps best when considered an indulgence for a special occasion. I think it was supposed to be a Stromboli based on pictures? but I'm not an expert. I really enjoyed how good everything tasted! A hidden gem in Pueblo, for sure!
google avatar

Bob K.

Yelp
Most highly recommend stopping and shopping here. From Acini De Pepe to Vermicelli they carry the pasta. Or they carry to ingredients to make your own. The deli is ALWAYS fresh and the staff will happily make you their delicious Profezeni or (sandwich)...
google avatar

Nick T.

Yelp
Awesome little Italian shop with a wonderful deli! They also have a sandwich shop around the corner.... $10 and you get a HUGE sandwich, bag of chips and a soda. Bring a friend or plan on leftovers. Ask about the badabing!

Jeanne B.

Yelp
How could anyone NOT like Gagliano's? It's as quaint as a shop can get and full of the most wonderful smells. I'm not Italian, but I love their food, and this is the best place I've seen to find the best of the best ingredients. I lived for many years in an Italian neighborhood of Denver and never saw a shop so adorable and so well stocked in all foods Italian. The deli has the best Italian sausage you can find anywhere, and the Italian bread is great. And then there's the cheeses.... Oh, and the pizzelles! What more can I say? It's tucked away in a not very desirable neighborhood, but I've never had any problems parking safely. The parking isn't plentiful, as someone else mentioned, so you may need to walk a bit. But this place is worth it!

Cecile S.

Yelp
Delicious meatball and Italian mufalatta! Will always go when driving through Pueblo!!
google avatar

Glenn K.

Yelp
Always stop for a lunch sandwich and a few Italian goodies. If you are homeward bound and have a cooler take some Italian sausage with you, it is great in lasagna or as a sausage burger on a bun.

Kathy C.

Yelp
Family owned business, great unique Italian store with so much to see, it's also a deli, fun experience.
