Omg the food is so good!! I’ve been searching for a decently priced Indian/Halal pizza & burger spot AND their portion sizes are huge for me. Definitely will be enjoying it at home, sharing with my loved ones, and telling everyone I know to try it. I will be back for sure. The service is also super friendly and the ambience was perfectly chill for an introvert like me.

Food&drink are 10/10. Service is 10/10. Atmosphere is 10/10. I recommend this spot for everyone I know in the area. I’ve been here a couple of times and they kill it every time. We ordered Paneer Masala Pizza and it’s phenomenal. The server was sooo friendly and she even got us some Mango Lassi to try. It was delish!!!

Very low key, hole-in-the-wall spot in Broadway-Astoria serving a new but traditional take on Nepalese-Halal food. I had the paneer pizza which was light but equally cheesy and made fresh. We also got the lamb curry and beef tikka masala burger (not pictured) which was delicious and also fresh. We were offered tasting a sample of the mango lassi which was very sweet of the host and also additional rice if we needed; service was attentive as well. I hope more people come to this spot since it’s truly a gem in the neighborhood.

Great new spot in town! I’ve ordered takeout twice so far, and both experiences were excellent. The first time, I tried the Chicken Masala Cheese Fries (came with a buy 1 get 1 free deal), and most recently I went with the Lamb Cheesy Masala Fries. Both were delicious, flavorful, and generously portioned. The service was just as good as the food. Definitely a place I’d recommend to others!

This is a relatively casual halal food spot with a wide assortment of menu options, mostly with an Indian theme. We were seated immediately, good number of seats inside. We ordered the chili paneer, tikka masala, and the masala pizza. The paneer was super flavorful and delicious with just the right amount of spice. The tikka masala was smooth and savory. We especially enjoyed the gravy of the tikka masala with the masala pizza, which by itself was already deliciously cheesy and soft. I like that they allow you to adjust the spice level on a good number of their menu items. We had plenty of leftovers to take back home. Service was friendly and great. Hoping to stop by again very soon!

New restaurant in the neighborhood. We had the lamb korma, chili chicken, garlic cheese naan, and the beef pepperoni pizza. All delicious. Great to know this place is halal as beef pepperoni pizza is hard to find. This place does spicy food really well. They also offer different levels of spicy. The service was also phenomenal, friendly, and attentive.

Extremely delicious food!! Great atmosphere. Plenty of seating area. Our server was the sweetest person on earth.

Food was delicious and there are so many lamb pieces in the rice. Chicken sandwiches is huge. I wrapped it with Nan and sauce they gave me so many kinds. I definitely return to buy food and grab a lunch.

What a welcome addition to Astoria! Gaia Masala & Burger is a fusion restaurant that specializes in Indian and American cuisine. In addition to their Indian and Mediterranean dishes, they are known for their masala burgers, which include tikka masala sauce.  I had passed them many, many times and always thought this was a grubby restaurant; however, when I ventured inside, I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of options and seating arrangements. I ordered my favorite, a lamb masala, and was delighted to see how tasty it was, not too spicy. What is great about their arrival in Astoria is that they are one of the very few restaurants that are open late on Broadway, so you can always depend on a good meal. A burger version complements every traditional Indian meal. In addition, they offer cheese steaks and gyros, so most culinary needs are met. I am now a firm fan and can recommend it, and I plan to return soon.

Finally got a chance to come here after walking past it so many times on my walk from the train station. We walked in on a Friday night and were welcomed immediately by a friendly server. We started off with the chicken tikka masala calzone which is quite unique. The crust was soft, buttery and the chicken tikka masala with mozzarella filling was delicious. Our main entree was the chicken tikka masala, which was creamy, appropriately spicy (medium). The portions were huge! Overall very good value for what you pay for. I will definitely be back and can't wait to try the rest of their menu. The place itself was casual and very clean. Definitely recommend trying this place out if you're in the area!

Always passed by this place but never got the chance to eat here until now. Solid yummy flavors, and the medium spice level is SPICY. The cheesy masala fries were our favorite - really addicting and didn't get soggy super quick. Mango lassi was really thick if that's your preference. We took a lot of leftovers home, & they still tasted great heated up. Would come back again!

love that they have so many vegan options especially things that aren't normally vegan. the tikki masala tofu and vegan korma were so delicious! and they actually make it spicy when requested which is the best - highly recommend!

I went in person and ordered their Chicken Biryani and it was really good! The service was great and they offered myself and my friend drinks in case we wanted. Would recommend anyone to go and try as they have a lot of options as well.

Got the chicken tikka masala cheesesteak and it seriously did not disappoint. The sandwich was packed with flavor and juicy chicken. I asked for it to be spicy and they really brought the heat. It was also such a substantial portion I had to split it into two meals. The cajun curly fries were also a fantastic addition. I got it delivered so can't speak much to ambiance but I would definitely check this place out.
