Such a great place to catch a vibe! A nice respite to refuel and recharge among the hustle and bustle of Dumbo. Albert is an excellent bartender and did his best to match a cocktail to my mood, even making me a personalized drink. The food is a perfect pair to the craft cocktail offerings here, and the atmosphere is great for both a celebration and a more low-key evening (despite the volume on busier evenings). Highly recommend having an evening at Gair whenever you’re looking for a quality evening!

Highly recommend a cocktail from the photo attached. Snacks were delicious. I'd like to highlight the outstanding service, friendly and welcoming atmosphere. This is a nice spot to have a break after walking the Brooklyn Bridge 🌉 !

Amazing cocktail bar in the heart of DUMBO. Great place to stop off while visiting the park on a date or seeing the iconic Manhattan bridge view. Food is great but drinks are even better. Order off their amazing curated cocktail menu or, if it’s slow, ask the bartender to help you find your new favorite classic. They can do almost any of them!

Great date spot or place to catch up with friends if you’re looking for unbelievable drinks and a good ambiance. It’s on such an iconic street and the water is right there so make sure you go for a walk after. Also, the curry chicken sandwich is WILD. The bartenders really know what they’re doing and the staff is super friendly!!

Excellent cocktail bar, DUMBO has really needed a place like this! I went back recently and was impressed with their updated food menu. I got the bread and butter, the oysters and the shrimp cocktail. I would steer folks toward the shrimp cocktail because they serve quite large shrimp and it ends up being very filling, compared with the oysters which were great but obviously they dont work as a solo meal… I saw some folks getting the smash burger and it looks amazing, will look forward to trying next time. Bartender and servers are very friendly. Drinks wise I recommend the Club Classic (amazing blue cheese infused mezcal) and the Love Lost. Only downside to this place is the acoustics are kind of rough. If going alone its fine but if planning on a group visit it may be hard to hear your friends’ conversation.

I would like to start this review by saying that this place and its people are really nice and welcoming. Whomever had a hand on hand design did a great job keeping it modern and fresh. I do have to say, if you’re looking forward to have a great conversation, this might not be your place; the music and acoustics are tricky here. Food is extremely interesting and will have you asking the service about what everything in the menu is. Beef was wonderful, seafood fresh and pork delicious, tho a little bit chewy. The popcorn in the menu sounds much more interesting than it is. Make sure to try the deviled eggs. Cocktails really are the big star here, get anything… It’s great.

I went there for drinks and I had to get the caviar right after. It was delicious. The cute bar tender Megan was so helpful and easy on the eyes. Definitely recommended for any occasion it bears anything around the area.

the best spot! the vibes, the food, drinks and, service are unmatched. it’s my go-to place for a night out. never fails to exceed all expectations! you can also plan events there and they are very accommodating and professional.
