Galata Bistro Mediterranean Grill

Forgot to take a picture of the cauliflower fritter appetizer before we'd inhaled most of it but it was perfect! Tender cauliflower and nicely fried. The pomegranate salad was really good too. Would like to try the kebabs if I get a chance. Kiddo's chicken tender dinner was really generous for the price. Wish we'd come in person earlier; very sad to hear that they are closing June 16th.

The Mediterranean Grill is one of the tastiest places here. Whether you like seafood or you're vegetarian, it's a great choice. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff is polite. All the dishes are made with amazingly fresh ingredients, making it a healthy option.

This was our first visit, but the tables around us were filled with returning guests. Friendly and quick service. I asked for Aryan and while they were out, the waiter made one especially for me. Delicious! The house kebab was excellent! Juicy with a crisp exterior. My guest loved her falafel and we wished we lived closer to return for another meal.

Upscale Mediterranean restaurant located in downtown Menlo Park. Offers a good variety of Mediterranean dishes. Of the two items we ordered here, the dishes are pretty good. They offer free bread and oil dip which is a huge plus. Customer service is okay and the drink menu could be improved a bit. [The Food and Drink] We thought the food here was great for the price. The falafel was crisp and tasted authentic. The soup was excellent as well. We were really happy that they also offer bread at the beginning of the meal which is really nice and under appreciated nowadays! The drinks could be a little more varied if possible. For instance, their IPA beer was literally just listed as "IPA" without any distinction as to locale or brand. Otherwise, great food and drink! [The Location] Great location here located right on Santa Cruz avenue in Menlo Park. They have a good amount of outdoor seating and the restaurant doesn't appear to get very crowded which is nice! The street is quiet and the area is very safe by California standards!

Went there for dinner with the team and was not disappointed. First and foremost, the food was very tasty. I ordered vegetarian, but everyone in my team ordered different dishes, and they were lip smacking. The staff was courteous, and the ambiance was very cozy. They have a great wine selection too. I would love to visit again.

Everything about my lunch here was amazing; the ambiance, service, and extensive menu options. The complimentary bread with dipping oil was so good! The falafel wrap and gyro platter exceeded my expectations! Will definitely be a regular here, can’t wait to try more of the menu.

This was my first time here and I enjoyed every bit of it. The staff were nice and welcoming, and the food was delicious. I ordered the combo plate so I could try the different kebabs. I must say I enjoyed their bread service way too much and asked to take my leftover bread to go. They obliged and even added more for more. I'll be going back to try more items on their menu.

We shared a lamb/beef kebab platter— the place seems popular and the staff were nice, but the dish itself was subpar. The meat was dry, the pita seemed processed, and the side salad was limp. Would be willing to give the place/other dishes another try!
