Galata Turkish Cuisine offers a wonderful dining experience. The food is fresh, flavorful, and authentically prepared — from appetizers to desserts, everything tastes homemade. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a cozy Turkish touch that makes you feel at home. The staff is attentive, friendly, and always ready to help. A great place for both family gatherings and casual meals. Highly recommended! Galata Cuisine continues to stand out with its unique flavors every time I visit, making it a strong contender for a top-tier restaurant. The staff is exceptionally friendly and encouraged us to try their new desserts. When you visit, make sure not to miss out on the desserts—they are truly delightful.

We tried the mixed grill, hummus, künefe, and tea. The mixed grill and dessert were spot on. The kebabs were incredibly juicy and packed with authentic Turkish flavor. They gave us a complimentary dessert called Sekerpare and it was absolutely delicious! Did not get to take a picture of Sekerpare because we devoured it. Highly Recommend.

I had lunch at Galata Sweets Sterling Heights today and it was an excellent experience! The food quality was outstanding — the Adana Kebab was juicy and flavorful, and the Kabuli Pulao was perfectly cooked and aromatic. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and the prices were reasonable for the portion sizes. Honestly, the service and quality exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended!

What a wonderful stop in this world food tour! Had a great conversation with the proprietor about the food and story behind the restaurant. He said we would enjoy the meat especially and he was 💯 accurate. This will be in the regular rotation to explore the rest of the menu!

Everything was so tasty! The soup and lahmacun were perfect, and the mixed kebab was full of flavor. Can’t forget the baklava! Super friendly place — I’ll definitely be back!

Live music and nice food and great atmosphere. I celebrate my friend's at this place and the live music makes me just want to dance. The food is great! Better to reserve online before hand, so you have your table ready!

The food was amazing and very authentic! One of the best Turkish restaurants I have tried in USA. We ordered lahmacun, sheesh kebab and tavuk sheesh and all was perfect, flavorful, kebabs were juicy and not overcooked. The only thing can be changed is the refreshner on the table which smells really bad and very far from original Limon kolonya from Türkiye.

We had brunch at the Sterling Heights location and enjoyed eating there. The restaurant has a good ambiance and is well decorated and clean. The people were very friendly. The food was delicious (we ordered Menemen and Manti). Would highly recommend it!

Yelp
My first time at an authentic Turkish restaurant. When i visited they had a live musician playing traditional music, and the place was pretty busy but we were seated right away. the server was happy to recommend what we should try as first-timers and it did not disappoint! the dishes are mostly meat-based but as a vegetarian i was still able to find plenty of things that met my needs such as a delicious pomegranate salad, eggplant dish, hummus, and burek with cheese. Everything was fresh and tasted great. make sure you leave some room for dessert, you can't skip it at this place!

Yelp
Excellent Turkish restaurant with a real cool interior vibe (there is also live music) and amazing chicken kabob wraps plus kunefe. Service was also very prompt, attentive and accommodating. Extremely authentic decorations and the chai tea was incredible, one of the most delicious chai teas I've had! Most highly recommended!

Yelp
WOW!!! What an amazing meal. We stumbled on a review on Instagram and thought we would give it a try. We ordered an assortment of shareable dishes. The service was friendly and very helpful. We were celebrating a birthday and a Tres Leche cake, pistachio baklava and tea were complimentary. We look forward to returning!!!

Yelp
Went for Iftaar so they were very busy. We went about 30 minutes before iftaar and ordered right away but the food took sometime to come out even after Iftaar. The food was very fresh, and good but flavours didn't blow me away. The place is nicely decorated and the servers are very polite. The quantity of food for the price was a little less, specially comparing to nearby Arab restaurants and their platters. Not sure if I would go back. Halal!

Yelp
A wonderful family restaurant with Turkish cuisine, which is a bit uncommon in our area. Loved the Lahmacun, which is a flat bread with ground lamb, spices, tomatoes, onions, & parsley. The staff & owner were very friendly & helpful.

Yelp
Better cafes elsewhere with live energy. This location is not the best and the Dearborn location is WAY better. Nice service but just a quiet spot and the menu is overpriced.

Yelp
I contacted friends and we went to Galata to order the family-styled "Sultan Breakfast." They say it feeds 4-6, and was indeed impressive when they brought in a beautiful hot tea service for 4 and another table to accommodate the lavish and luxury spread. Breakfast included plenty of delicious, high-quality breads, cheeses, olives, honey, sweet preserves, labneh, eggs, nutella, tahini, shakshuka, and a cheese-covered baked flat bread with thin slices of sausage and fresh tomatoes. I may have forgotten an item or two, but we shall never forget the stellar hospitality of Jaihoon and his wonderful wait staff. We were made to feel like instant family. Jaihoon had 2 glasses of hot tea brought to the table while I waited for my three friends to arrive. Delightfully, Jaihoon also sat down, too, to enjoy a tea with me as we enjoyed a nice chat about Turkish cuisine, Galata, and the local food scene. What exceptional hospitality! The food presentation was perfectly organized and very impressive. Our Chaldean friend helped us navigate all the food and how to combine items together for maximize flavor and authenticity. Jaihoon and the waitstaff knew we were in good hands, but continued to also answer our questions and checked on our table. The restaurant filled up within 40 minutes, and reservations are recommended. The ambience at Galata is happy and energized. It is fueled naturally by the pure enjoyment of everyone enjoying their meals and beverages over conversations and communing with family & friends. We four friends came hungry to Galata, and so enjoyed all of the flavors of The Suktan Breakfast, our epicurean adventure in Turkish cuisine. We loved every morsel and still had 2 containers that left with us. We're already planning on a return for dinner. Bring your family and friends as we plan to do with others who need to experience all Galata has to offer. Thank you, Galata. It was truly memorable.

Yelp
Such a cozy and welcoming Turkish restaurant! The food was full of rich, familiar flavors that reminded me of home,so similar to Albanian and Mediterranean dishes. Everything we had was delicious, but if you go, you HAVE to try the tahini with molasses. It's simple, sweet, and absolutely unforgettable. Highly recommend!

Yelp
4.5 The Lamb chops were good, nice grilled flavor and seasoning. You get some different sides, that were also good. The rolled-up meat dish (Beyti Kebap) was good too. Not liked in the photos. Larger and a lot fewer. Turkish tea was nice too. They were out of the lamb skewers that we wanted to try. The service was slow. The waiter didn't speak good English and waited on another table that came 10 minutes after us that had what appeared to be their Turkish friends. It took at least 45 minutes to get our food. So not a place to go for a quick lunch. Will be back since the food is good and different. The pasties Simit and Acmi were good too. Nice Turkish music and video playing which was good to watch and listen too. Cool lamps too.
