"Hop over to NuLu (New Louisville) for a fast-casual eatery and bar featuring creatively-named cocktails and indulgent sharing plates (think beignets with grapefruit curd for dessert). Whether you're stopping by for sustenance or a DJ set, the atmosphere will satisfy design savvy eyes with neon lights and cosmic accents." - Michaela Bechler

We tried Galaxie on a whim and it turned into a great choice in the NuLu area. We went there for tacos that while looked and were topped with less than normal toppings, were absolutely phenomenal and writing this now reminds me I honestly want some more. Don’t be afraid to try something that sounds weird, between the ones we got none were bad. The loaded cheeseburger fries are another must-try; they’re as satisfying as they are delicious. Whether you’re in the mood for a laid-back dinner date or a late-night meal to sober up, Galaxie’s menu fits the bill. Just a word of caution: steer clear of their margaritas, they’re dangerously good and strong. The bartender also said that later in the night, the back room turns into a fun, dance club type vibe, adding another exciting layer to your visit.

Everything was outstanding!!! Food, service, ambiance. Also, moving here from San Diego and finding good Mexican food is non-existent in NOLA. I now stand corrected, I found my home. Thank you Heather for being so authentic and kind. Appreciate you!

Spe'cial and Taylor were great! It was my first time in Kentucky and Louisville. The karaoke bar across the street suggested this restaurant. It was quaint and fun! I ordered the avocado chicken salad. Yummy! They're open on Sundays now if you're looking for something good to eat in a good area!

Miracle on market was so fun! The place is huge and each room is decorated for Xmas.... Trees, lights, presents, blow ups, Santas, fireplaces... The middle room has two protectors playing Christmas movies and of course Christmas songs play thru out. The Run Run Reindeer mulled wine and prosecco was delicious. The Yippee Ki-yay Mother F_&ker was tropical and nostalgic of college.

Google
The tacos were delicious but the fries were exceptional. The place is small but the vibes are big. The surprise is that they have a separate area in the back where they have DJs and other musicians perform. I was surprised to see free water in both the bar area AND the music venue. Tickets for shows have been super affordable. They don't have a designated parking lot and since it's Nulu area, you may need to factor in time for parking.

Google
This is one of the best dance clubs with live DJ in Louisville. They have live DJ’s for all types of EDM style music in the backrooms- all coordinated to a light show. Their IG and Facebook have the artist schedule. Food is great and every cocktail/margarita is delicious. They stock Tecate beer too, which is a hard find in this area.

Galaxie has been transformed into a winter wonderland with Miracle on market. It was an excellent experience. This is an offshoot from galaxie that only pops up in the holidays. It is a very festive bar experience. There’s a lot of Christmas decorations, there’s cozy little nooks with fireplaces and Christmas trees where you can sit and enjoy your drink or watch a Christmas movie. The holiday cocktails are very inspired and so far very tasty. I had the Christmas cricket and my friend had the mulled wine which was a hot drink. They were very well done. This is overall a great and festive experience and it’s definitely becoming a Holiday tradition.

Fun place for drinks. We had the Street Fighter cocktail and it was delicious! The atmosphere is fun and trendy. The colors and themes are hype. Make sure to go in the bathroom too, it's interesting. Haven't tried the food but the menu looks good. Great night life and would recommend.

Yelp
I was browsing Uber Eats on rainy Friday night when I stumbled on Galaxie Tacos. I usually gravitate to local establishments and wasn't sure Galaxie Tacos was local? But my curiosity got the best of me, and I ordered three Wakatakas, (their signature flatbread tacos). I got the following: shrimp & chorizo- avocado mousse, arugula, aioli, pickled red onion, pico, cilantro hoisin bbq- korean bbq sauce, arugula,za'atar, pickled red onion Chimichurri chicken- grilled onion, chimichurri sauce, feta, pico, parsley I made it a combo and added chips and salsa. I'm not sure what the chips were dusted in, maybe grippos seasoning? I'm not usually much of a chip eater, but these were special with a unique combination of being both thick and flaky. The salsa was green and thicker than your average verde. I wasn't sure how many tacos I needed, having no experience with wakatakas. The flatbread made them more substantial than I expected. The toppings were hearty. I think one would've been enough, but I didn't let that stop me. I kept trying to pick my favorite, but I can't. Alternating bites provided the perfect combination of flavors. I can't comment on the ambience of this restaurant because I had them delivered. They were came fast and fresh. While I ate, I couldn't help but to keep thinking, "what luck that this place caught my eye." I can't remember the last time I've had tacos so satisfying.

Yelp
Visited Miracle on Market again to try more holiday cocktails. Venue was busy on a Sunday evening, but line moved fast. We were never able to snag a table, but there was plenty of standing room. Drinks were ok - they didn't rank as high as other pop up bars we've visited and they were some of the highest priced. We did share some food at Galaxie (front space) and it was so good! Overall, great decide for holidays but priced and not as impressive cocktails.

Yelp
Stopped in for an early dinner and I love the creativity of their menu. Started with some margs and chips with queso. The homemade tortilla chips were warm and had a yummy seasoning on them. Also had tacos but completely forgot to take pictures because they were so yummy we dug right in. I'm excited that they will be opening a new location near home in Covington. This restaurant's quirky personality will fit right in.

Kale T.

Yelp
Waste of money to go to the back room, Friday night nobody in there. Bad music. Waste of money.

Yelp
The tacos have my whole heart!!! No seriously, after trying their Thanksgiving taco I have been raving about it to my husband. It got to the point where he told me to either stop talking about it or take him to get one. So we went and got one. Another taco of theirs I really like is the chipotle chicken one. I am a little ashamed to admit, but I've been here many times recently and I've gotten the Thanksgiving taco three of those times , there is just some thing about the zest in their cranberry sauce that really pulls it together. All that to say- I'm excited to come back and try even more of the taco combinations! This is a great place to stop in NuLu for a drink and snack, or you can make a meal out of the menu items. Around the holidays the bar turns into "miracle on market" and becomes a Christmas lovers dream. They usually post who is DJ'ing on their socials. The staff has always been kind and welcoming, food and drinks come out relatively quick even when the place is packed! Overall: check them out even if it's not the holidays, the fun tacos will hook your attention!

Yelp
Galaxie is a cool funky spot for drinks right off the main drag in NULU! I've been here twice, and both times my husband and I only ordered hand-shaken cocktails from the bar. We always seem to eat elsewhere for lunch and dinner, but after looking at the menu & review photos, I'm starting to regret that! (The menu sounds amazing!) Until next time, when we WILL order food, all I can say is that their drinks are killer! The bartenders are quick, they know what they're doing, and seem like some of the coolest, kindest, most interesting people around! If you're not sure what drink you want to entertain, just ask them! They'll whip up a concoction that's sure to become your new favorite! Atmosphere is dark and sexy, perfect for sipping margs and listening to music on a date night. They often have live bands and events on weekends, and everyone in the area seems to recommend coming here! Stop in for a quick drink and a bite to eat! (I plan to update this review with food photos once I hit em' up again!)

Jane R.

Yelp
This place was a nice little spot for drinks and tacos! But the tacos were a little hard to eat. I got the Philly cheesesteak tacos. They were just a little pricey. My group stayed for trivia which was fun. I would come back here with a group to hang out.

Brittany W.

Yelp
The drinks and food are excellent. It's a regular stop for me when I'm in Nulu for a quick bite to eat!

Nick A.

Yelp
SCAM!! I was overcharged by the bartender (ordered 4 shots and one drink and was charged 8 shots and one drink). On top of that they left a 40% tip. Will never return.

Matt W.

Yelp
Cocktails are SO good and the food is shockingly great. It looks like a cross between a dive and a cocktail bar but damn it delivers!

Brian D.

Yelp
Good eats, fast drinks, and slapping tunes. Bring some friends, grab some tacos, and get amped up to shred the dance floors or just vibe to the grooves.

Grace C.

Yelp
The tacos here are amazing! The drinks were okay honestly, not the best or the worst. The service was really good, it's an intimate establishment with very cool decor that reflects its name. I would go back and try more food!

Patrick P.

Yelp
On a night out in NuLu there's not a lot of places to get a late night snack. After a few tastes and drams at Evergreen I found myself walking into Galaxie for a night cap and food. Besides sporting a hip urban vibe (don't be afraid of the TVs inside the bathroom), Galaxie also slings some pretty tasty tacos. Opting for flatbread instead of tortillas these tacos are heavy hitters. I ordered both the cheesesteak and shrimp varieties and they both came overflowing with toppings. As a fan of well seasoned fries I have to give a shout out to Galaxie for nailing the right amount of salt and pepper that should go on French Fries. An odd complement I know but it really stuck out for me. Overall Galaxie tamed my food cravings, I would be happy to stop by again!

Gerriann S.

Yelp
This was a unique taco experience with a variety of options. Loved the loaded nachos. Outside seating on a beautiful day. Staff friendly and offered great suggestions.

Yelp
Discovering restaurants in Louisville has been something I've throughlgly enjoyed since moving to the area a few years ago and the one thing I've definitely noticed since coming here is there are a great selection of taco places with Galaxie being added to my list as one of my favorite such places in town. Galaxie has an extremely chill vibe to it. It is a counter service restaurant with lots of outdoor seating available and also a bar inside with some seating as well. The food selection is focused around tacos each providing a very unique flavor and on this first visit I decided to go with their chipotle chicken and shrimp & chorizo tacos that Galaxie calls "Wakatakas" Their Wakatakas come on their signature flatbread tacos and are extremely delicious and full of flavor. The smell alone had my mouth watering before receiving my food. As far as side options go, Galaxie has everything from their Vader fries to their Galaxie loaded nachos, which is what I decided to go with on this particular trip. You have a choice between a small order and a large order but I will say that the large order is a lot so if you don't think you can finish the mountain of chips that Galaxie provides I'd recommend sticking with a small order. The food was presented very pleasing to the eyes and everything was very fresh and juicy as well as being extremely delicious as what one would expect with other Louisville taco places. Galaxie also has a great selection of cocktails, all with their own unique name of which some come from various pop culture references. I decided to go with the Street Fighter, a mixture of aged rum, pineapple, lime & campari. The presentation of the drink was very nice however the drink itself had a bit too much of a citrus taste so for those that enjoy that flavor, this drink is for you. Galaxie makes for a great stop along the NuLu section of Louisville and is a place I definitely recommend any food or taco lover come and check out.

Yelp
Space themed bar and eatery located in the popular and phenomenal Nulu neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky. Me and my friend and fellow yelper Jeremy J was hanging out and checking out certain places and pieces of public art in the Shelby parks and Nulu neighborhoods yesterday and we both had galaxie on our list so it made it a no brained to stop here. We walked up at around 355pm (which I didn't even pay attention to the time but it comes into play later in this review) on a Saturday and while the place was smaller then expected the decor and vibe was very cool and nice. We personally enjoyed the large brain picture above the seats. We approach the bar after Looking at the drink menu and both was trying to find the food menu. We knew they had food because the sign our front said "lunch, dinner and Margs" and there was a guy at the grill preparing something. Jeremy asked for a food menu and the worker told him "kitchen isn't open until 4pm". So, we just got drinks. He got a mad tree happy amber IPA and I got a "street fighter" cocktail. We went and sat under the cool brain picture and the tables were gross and sticky. We checked out a few and they were all dirty and sticky. So that was gross. We ended up going outside once my street fighter came. He liked his beer a lot. He said it was a solid 4/5. My cocktail was delicious. I'd say 4.5/5 While outside I noticed the "lunch, dinner and margs" sign and was like how do they serve lunch but do not open the kitchen until 4pm? I then looked at the time and it was past 4pm. Which made me question To my friend "why couldn't we look at the food menu when we asked about it". I mean we would of gladly waited 5 min to 4pm to order nachos or something. Like we could of easily enjoyed our drinks while waiting 5 min. If I'm being honest neither of the two bar workers were friendly either. They barely spoke and didn't acknowledge us hardly at all. No how are you doing, thanks for coming or have a good day. Just "kitchen isn't open to 4pm" "here's your receipt" and "here's your drink". From the dirty tables to the bad service this place let us down. The decor and drinks were great. If I had a better experience I would highly recommend this place. I get it places can get busy and tables might not get wiped down. But there isn't any excuse for bad and lazy service. I wish I would of paid more attention to the time because I would of questioned why we couldn't see a food menu 5 min before the kitchen opened. She just simply didn't want to go grab a menu it seems. It cost her establishment more money and gonna cost her establishment two customers who likely will not come back. Which is I mentioned a shame. We were both pretty pumped to try this place.

Kristen H.

Yelp
Delicious tacos and margaritas- arguably the best in Louisville! They have a dance club on the weekends in the back of the building. Its fun, but the cover is typically pretty high. The back bar doesn't have as many options as the main bar so grab your drink there first!

Whitney M.

Yelp
Galaxie was across the street from our hotel and we were pretty hungry and looked for a quick bite. Stopped into Galaxie we're we ordered nachos and tacos. The nachos were incredibly good. I the tortilla chips had some type of seasoning on them that gave it a bit of a kick. I couldn't believe how tasty they were!

Angela B.

Yelp
Visiting for the Derby and had lunch here. The spinach saag and crispy potato wakataka is sooooo good. I'm gluten- free so I got the corn tortilla. The shrimp and chorizo is really good as well. I highly recommend this place.

Phylise H.

Yelp
Galaxie .......... Located in the heart of the NULU neighborhood of Louisville on Market street, this intimate urban lounge is the perfect setting for a bar stop with tasty food. From the street , you would never guess what's lies inside. I went for tequila fest and was pleasantly surprised. The interior gives off cool vibe, with splashes of beautiful stunning art. The food is next level bar food and was prepared quickly. The perfect balance of composition of each dish was amazing. There is stage and full bar in the back. Definitely a place you can stop and enjoy. Drink: House Margarita Entree: Black Bean Bowl Decor: Recycled Art Masterpiece

Natalie S.

Yelp
Was really just OK. Food and drinks were overpriced. Music was very loud. Not the safest area at night imo.

Julia A.

Yelp
Delightful club. Easy to get in. I like that the bar is separate from the dance floor and there's a separate sitting area that isn't so loud. But there is also seating at the back of the dance area which was nice because one of my friends was in a cast when we went and she needed to sit down most of the time. Drinks were good, service was quick! Music was a good volume in my opinion, though I am the type to bring earplugs with me everywhere I go.

Tony S.

Yelp
Galaxie is the best kept secret in town. The use all fresh ingredients and my wife says they have the very best Margarita in town. We also love the tacos.

Noel M.

Yelp
This place was SO good. The tacos were absolutely delicious and the ceviche was just what we needed for the warm day! Margarita wasn't bad - it had tequila so I'm good! Outdoor and indoor seating, the overall location was clean and the staff was friendly! I'm a happy girl!

Hannahmarie O.

Yelp
Do you recognize this wall?? We love a good trivia night and on Wednesday we tried out Galaxie Bar. Of course we had to participate accordingly by having $5 palomas and simultaneously taking wild guesses at categories like Prison Movies and Cartoons But with drinks like these and ~outta this world~ apps it's hard not to have a good time. Truly a unique ~atmosphere~ here in the Galaxie and one you don't even need an expensive rocket to experience Ordered: Palomas Chips + Wakamole

Jeremy J.

Yelp
My buddy and I dipped in here one afternoon to get some appetizers and drinks. We got there and the workers could give a dang less that we were there. It was almost an inconvenience that we were there. No hi no hey no hate you no nothing. We tried to order drinks and apps and they said the kitchen don't open till 4. It was 352. Ok cool give me our drinks and the drinks were good but the atmosphere was dirty and sticky and the service was trash. So we won't be back

Hannah H.

Yelp
Searching Yelp for cool spots in NuLu, I found Galaxie. Multiple people mentioned how great their margaritas are having a deep a love for good margs and tequila, we had to make a stop here. I was also intrigued by their Wakatakas- their version of a taco. And if I'm really being honest, I needed to see this bathroom of theirs. So after a very long walk to NuLu, we finally reached Galaxie in time for lunch. Mom and I each ordered a margarita (duh) and split their Galaxy combo- 2 Wakatakas + chips and salsa for $12. I had the Baja Ship and she had the Cheese Steak. Both were really good. I loved the "tortillas," which are almost like a pita bread but a little thinner and more bendable. Hard to explain but they are good. As for the marg, it was also very good. THREE shots of tequila in this bad boy. We ended up sitting out side and stayed for a second drink they were so good. The vibe here is cool and it looks like it turns more into a bar at night with DJ's and dance parties on the weekend. It's not a huge place, but definitely worth a stop. And for that bathroom- it's odd for sure. They didn't have the static TV on when I was there (probably b/c it wasn't that busy at lunch on a Sat), but it's definitely unique. If you're in the area, stop and get yourself a margarita. I promise you won't ragret it (unlike Scotty P.).

Jordan E.

Yelp
We came here after a distillery tour. It's definitely not a fancy place and we didn't get any drinks due to having that distillery tour buzz. I got a shrimp and chorizo wakataka and a small order of loaded chicken nachos. I love that they have a small and large order because I find typically loaded nachos are so huge as an appetizer that I'm not hungry for anything else. The food was so flavorful! The walataka was tasty, but the bread was a bit thicker than I wanted. The nachos might be some of my favorites that I've eaten. The chips had great seasoning and the ingredients were very fresh and flavorful. I would probably just get those next time and get two proteins on them. My dad had the steak wakataka and hot chicken wakataka and said they were very tasty! He preferred the steak to the chicken. The food we got was pretty heavy and a bit greasy, definitely a good pick to soak up all that bourbon from the whiskey tour, but they do have some lighter fare options that look very good!

Kerri M.

Yelp
Some of the best tacos I have ever had & the drinks was amazing and service was very good & fast

Madeline M.

Yelp
"The tortilla really sets off." "Fries are very good." "Nachos were layered with flavor." "The seasoning on the chips hit the spot." "I love tacos, and I was not one bit disappointed."

Starkisha C.

Yelp
First of all shout out to Mel and Indigo! They were great! Friendly, professional and knowledgeable! My food was great and my drinks were better A small place with big flavor! And personalities! A hidden gem in my city. I will be back.. probably tonight.

Maria W.

Yelp
Such a fun atmosphere and menu with incredibly nice staff!! We enjoyed a chicken shawarma wakataka, avocado chicken salad, and green curry loaded fries. I wish I'd thought to take pictures!!

Elena S.

Yelp
Very cool spot! I got a black bean bowl with an egg. Food came out quickly and was fairly priced. Had no problem finding a table on a Friday afternoon. The food tasted very fresh. I thought the name of this spot was clever. If you want a trippy experience check out the bathroom. You'll see what I mean when you check it out.

Nina Q.

Yelp
My 3 kids & I were headed to a different place BUT decided here when we looked through the window. Kids wanted to check out their tacos. It was a cool spot that has an interesting menu that only 1 of my kids was adventurous to try but we decided to just get the nachos w/chorizo and guacamole w/chips as a light snack. Both were D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S!! My 2 pickier kids loved the chips and my middle son LOVED the guacamole and said it's the best he's had. The nachos were loved by 3 of us (my youngest only wanted to have the chips). The employees are super friendly and I have to say they deserve 100 stars. We witnessed a homeless guy walking around and he appeared to have a broken arm & in bad shape. A gentlemen came out of the store to help him & created a sling to help him keep his arm up AND they gave him food on the house. HOW CAN YOU NOT SUPPORT PEOPLE LIKE THIS?!?? I am from NJ & we just don't see anything like this. My heart is super touched and I was so grateful my kids saw that also. Really great people here that should be patronized and supported for being awesome human beings

Amanda H.

Yelp
This is a great bar to come to after work! They do trivia on Wednesdays at 7:30pm and serve a couple of their drinks for $5 during the game. Their food is also really good, I've had their cheese steak wakataka (basically a taco served in pita bread instead of a flour tortilla), the small nachos, and the wakamole (guacamole) and chips. All of it was really good!

Silas H.

Yelp
Awesome place with a great community support. I spent last Friday night here for the MidWestMassive D&B show and it was good vibes all around. Amazing atmosphere and great food. Try the nachos!!

Lauren D.

Yelp
We ended up at Galaxie after garage bar. It's a pretty great place with good service, but the space is entirely too small. At one point in the evening we were asked to leave our table so the DJ could set up and the space could be used as a dance floor. We still had food on our table at this point. That was a little off putting. The drinks we had were great, but were overpriced as compared to places around the area. A pitcher of margaritas cost around $30-35 which is a bit pricey. All in all we had a great time, but It's not my go to bar in the NuLu area.

Alan C.

Yelp
NULU has some fabulous restaurants and nightclubs and I'm determined to hit them all by the end of fall. My first start was a great little intimate eatery called Galaxie! Greeted immediately by the bartender who informed us you order at the bar and the food comes to your table later, love simplicity! Started off with a couple of adult beverages Four Roses and cola and I had a mojito! Both tasty and strong. My guest had the steak nachos and there was enough on one platter to serve four! They were outstanding especially the fresh jalapeños! I went with the Greek Salad with chicken for an additional two dollars. The salad was so tasty and the ingredients were all fresh. The atmosphere is outstanding and very casual. Cars rushing up and down Market Street and a constant flow of traffic on the sidewalks! It gives you a metro feel that you'll not find on the other side of the bridge! If this is how NULU represents I'm going to have a great summer! Galaxie I will be back!

Katie B.

Yelp
Try the nachos, holy . Open late. This is the place. Go and get it. Phenomenal. Can't wait till we're back in Louisville.

Cassie F.

Yelp
Wow wow wow!! Delicious food!! We had the chicken shawarma wakataka, hoisin bbq wakataka, loaded nachos, and the avocado chicken salad to share a bit of several different dishes. None of us could pick a favorite!! Incredible food!! I can't wait to go back!

Sarah C.

Yelp
We were so pleasantly surprised by the fact that they had one of our favorite import German beers in a 16oz can, and that they had food past 9... which is apparently hard to find during the pandemic era in Nulo on a Friday/ Saturday night! Pros? The gigantic pita tacos were super tasty! We especially loved the chipotle chicken and philly cheesesteak... just don't expect street tacos... they're definitely served in hot pita bread and completely different than a traditional taco. That being said, get them! Fries were hot and had awesome flavor Lots of drink and beer options Club upstairs/ in the back... didn't go, but it's fun to know it exists We also didn't get the nachos... but omg they're huge! Cons? Seating is definitely limited on a Friday/ Saturday night so it can be difficult to find a place to eat the tasty pita tacos

Justin L.

Yelp
Hip little place with a funky flatbread taco menu (among other things) and drinks. An 80's soundtrack, great service at the bar, and yummy flavors. And open late!

Shyla M.

Yelp
We stumbled upon Galaxie for lunch, and it ended up being some of the best food that we ate in Louisville! We both ordered the Chipotle Chicken Tacos and they were SO delicious that we went back and ordered more. They had the option to put it on a corn tortilla which is great when eating gluten free. 10 out of 10 would recommend Galaxie to those in the Louisville area!

C D.

Yelp
This is a hot spot in NULU. Put this on your GO OUT In L'ville list. The vibe is awesome if you want to tap in to some positive energy ( duh! Who doesn't ) and shake your bootie ( yes!) . The service rocks, everyone behind the counter aims to please. They are def a service first establishment and are a great part of the Galaxie experience. I had a frozen drink and nachos. Nailed it!! The soundtrack was Upbeat ... all around happy place with great food and drinks. This place is a 10/10 every time

Natasha P.

Yelp
Coming to galaxie, you don't really expect much more than bar food and drinks. What is surprising is that it is much more than bar food. The tacos are superb with the handmade wakataka bringing life to all that is yummy and the house made seasoned chips. We tried the chicken shawarma, Baja shrimp, Sunny side egg, and Eggplant and portobello. The chicken shawarma I wouldn't not get again. Something about it was off. Like it was missing something. The other three, on the other hand, we considered getting seconds of (except they're so filling we were already stuffed ) The Baja shrimp is nothing extraordinary but it definitely is flavor packed, delicious, and full of a good variety of textures to please the taste buds. The Sunny side egg was great with a tad bit of hot sauce. The sweet potatoes and feta balance each other perfectly with a subtle hint of sweetness and a punch of salty/tangy. It was superb The eggplant and portobello was surprising. I was not expecting the jab of flavors that I received in the first bite. It is a perfect combination of delicious and best when paired with their seasoned tortilla chips and the galaxie margarita. Their margarita is packed with a punch of sour that delights the sensation. Add the house music on Thursday nights and you're ready to travel to party.

Justin T.

Yelp
Excellent food! The cheeseburger Wakataka and Vader Fries didn't disappoint. Atmosphere was relaxed and service was great.

Kyle E.

Yelp
This is my second time to Galaxie. It was my first time since Covid-19. When we arrived there is plexiglass around the bar area, which I appreciated. There was no one at the restaurant except our party. I was able to order a drink immediately and the bartender brought the drinks out to us outside. They had a few tables outside to sit at, and a few inside tables. There were lots of hand sanitizer areas, which we appreciated. The real let down was the spicy margarita. I've been here before and I loved the margarita. It might have just been an off night, but it tasted very watered down and lacked in flavor. There was a jalapeño in the margarita but that was all for the spice.

Saphace A.

Yelp
This place is tiny! It was a slow evening, but if it had been busy I would've passed this place by. There are a few tables inside and outside. The walls are painted some kind of dark shade of blue. It looked kind of retro with the bar stools and the gold disco ball. They had some modern light fixtures which I was in love with though! The music was loud, so when I ordered my wataka, I only got charged for one so I had to go up to the bar to get another. But the guy was so nice and even apologized, because the customer is always right in America (although it's the other way around in Europe), so I gotta give him kudos for that. I got the Baja fish wataka and the fried egg wataka with a rosemary honey lemonade. It's so different to eat it on naan bread but still really delicious and perhaps more filling than a regular taco. I thought it was a bit overpriced, but the NULU area is expensive, in general. My lemonade was refreshing but it tasted like your standard lemonade with no added this or that...disappointing for 4$ but still good. My friends also got watakas. They had either what I had or the chorizo or chipotle chicken. All really good! But again, pricy at 6$, in my opinion. The bathroom was beyond interesting. It reminded me of the 80s. Dark walls and a super old TV sitting by the sink on the counter that was tuned to white noise. Weird. Cool, but weird.

Visited on a business trip. Fun spot in a welcoming neighborhood. Maria is fantastic! But those five dudes in the straw hats? F those dudes.
