Galaxy Cafe

Best lunch place in Northwest Hills by far! I’m sure it’s just as good later in the day. I’ve met friends here midday three times in the past few weeks, and each time it’s been great. The menus are by the door as you enter, so you can decide before you get to the counter back to the right. The bowls are all delicious, with my favorite being the Zocalo Bowl, with rice, beans, chicken, corn, avocado, tortilla chips, and tomatillo dressing. MmmMmmGood! The shrimp tacos are also scrumptious. The first two lunches were at 11:30, and both times, the place was packed. We were there about 1:15 yesterday and it wasn’t quite as busy, but people did keep streaming in. They have a variety of craft beers on tap, as well as wine.

Great food! I ordered the Galaxy Bowl. The bowl was healthy and carried super tasty combination of flavors!! Next time, I'll ask for an extra shot of espresso in the chocolate coffee (it's like a Mocha). The gluten free chocolate cake was a great hit with the table too! Prices are fair. Service with a smile everywhere. They mus be doing things right. Thank you.

Galaxy Cafe is a fine place to eat if you can find parking. It is tight inside that small mall area. The food is good but watch out for sharp tiny bones inside the Siracha salmon tacos. Eat SLOW. I pulled out five bones that are dangerous to swallow. The caprese sandwich is safe and fresh. I also enjoyed the chicken pasta and turkey chile bowl. The latte is perfect. Galaxy is usually busy and I waited more than 15 minutes for the salmon tacos. Galaxy is not so busy after 12 pm and on weekends at about 3. Staff is friendly. Cafe needs more booths and parking. I prefer a booth to a table when I dine.

Amazing. Got the G-Free Pesto Chicken Club with fruit. Absolutely delicious. The pesto and caramelized onions are an awesome combo (if somewhat messy, haha). It was presented excellently-- even had a toothpick sign declaring it gluten free. Service was very friendly. Food didn't come out super fast, but it tasted like the onions were freshly caramelized, and that takes time. The atmosphere was great--a blend of retro diner and modern. I am thoroughly glad I stopped in today.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Every single day, Mia and Carl at Galaxy Cafe in North Austin greet me with the best service in the world — truly above and beyond. I couldn’t ask for anything better. Today, I accidentally placed my order at the wrong Galaxy Cafe location, but Mia immediately greeted me with a smile and said it was no problem at all. She went out of her way to place my order at the North location and made everything so easy. If you’re looking for healthy, delicious food with incredible service, I can’t recommend Galaxy Cafe enough. My go-to is the Power Bowl — brown rice, carrots, veggies, and a fresh piece of salmon. Absolutely perfect every time. Thank you, Mia, Carl, and the entire Galaxy Cafe team!

We ate lunch at the Mesa location on 9/24/25. There were 7 of us and one of the staff people quickly pulled together 2 tables and added a chair. Orders made at the counter were promptly delivered and all of us enjoyed our meal. One of the family group has celiac and she was carefully accommodated with no fuss. This restaurant is a favorite both on W. Lynn and Mesa. Very comfortable dining with a good menu.

Great food and staff. Super quick service. Love their green tea and iced coffee!!

Great team and amazing healthy food. Highly recommend their green tea, wraps and my go to spot for a casual business lunch or grab n go for the fam!
