Yelp
TLDR: If you have a limited time in Charleston this is not the place to go.
Normally when you go to anything that is rated 5 stars on Yelp its really good or great. This spot is not that. The food is a 3.5 overall. Service a 2, ambiance 2 as well.
The pasta was the best thing there, the pizzas and apps were fine, but you know that feeling you could have made it yourself, that's how all three of the appetizers we got felt, the brussels, bruschetta and cauliflower.
Our waitress did not know the beers on tap, and had to look at a menu to know one of the dishes. The menu is not large. We had 4 people order dinner only 3 dishes arrived. 2 of them several minutes before the third and then the fourth not at all.
The ambiance feels like you are in a mall in anywhere America. The rainbow colored light, the bar seating, metal chairs, industrial walls, a projector playing tv above your head? This place is set in a random complex out of the way, which does mean free easy parking, but it feels like you could be anywhere in middle America.
While our server was terrible, another server did come by and mention they had some people out sick, and apologized for the dinner not arriving.
Perhaps the service was particularly just off that evening, but the food/ambiance etc this place is not 5 stars, it should be 3 maybe 3.5 at best.
