Improvement is needed for sure! This was my first time here and the staff were excellent! The wait staff were very attentive (especially the young lady that stood by our table and took dirty plates away) and the meat runners were very polite. The only issue is that you can tell additional training is needed for some of the runners as they ignored the green/red card on the table by continuing to offer me meat even when the card was flipped to red (no, thank you). Also, I like my meat med. well or well done and was only offered medium rare. I let 3 runners know that my preference was med. well or well done and still kept being offered medium rare bloody meat. At other steakhouses, they quickly learn your preference and will not offer to serve you anything but. The variety was decent although we weren’t offered any poultry options. The picanha with garlic was my absolute favorite. The salad bar was labeled accordingly and the selection was actually quite impressive. Drinks were excellent! I really hope that the staff get more training because there is potential. I may try again.

I couldn't rave enough! Tonight was my last solid meal for two weeks so I went indulgent and Galeto did not disappoint. The bar of cool delights was amazing and full of favorites old and new. The service phenomenal. Our glasses never stayed below full. Our waiter Daniel was so attentive he noticed I'm left handed and served me to my left all evening. To a lefty that's a significant detail! The gauchos were handsome and playfully encouraging us to try every meat they had to offer... Of which there were so many. The sangria was delicious; there was no balking at my special request and I've never seen such generous servings of dessert. The poor reviews I can't comprehend. Perhaps it's because the place has only been open just a week. If so, they've taken all critique to heart. I was thrilled. Not cheap, but worth every penny. We are already planning our next visit.

Terrific food. Excellent service. Attentive staff. The meats were top quality and prepared with care. Not only do they have a salad bar but they offer a variety of soups and fish and other meats and cheeses as well as potatoes and rice and salads. Dessert options were delicious. Flan and creme brûlée. Extensive wines and coffee with your own little creamer cup. Eli, the owner came all the way from California ( and Brazil) to open this restaurant so that Alpharetta could enjoy delicious and plentiful dining. Definitely worth it!

I have been to Galeto twice since the opened in May. Overall, i think its a good value based on their atmosphere, location next to Hwy 400, North Point Mall, cold and hot bar selection and meat selection. The food bar has a diverse selection from sushi, Brazilian rice and beans, Italian dried meats, cheeses, grilled veggies and more. Price as of today was $45 per person with the meat selections. This place is great for larger parties (make reservations), quick early dinner with friends, family gatherings or if you are REALLY hungry. Alcohol bar selections looks good too buy sorry, i don't drink ;)

Service started out great, but ended terribly. For an appetizer, they bring out a meat and cheese plate. Then, you have 5 salads brought to the table - even if you don’t want them. I would have preferred to order the salad you want rather than waste the food. When the meats started coming around, we felt like we were getting the left overs. There was always only one or two pieces left on the plate. We were asked if there was anything we were waiting for and we let them know. It took 10-15 minutes to get a small piece of filet mignon so we asked for more which took another 5-10 minutes. Meantime, we are anxiously awaiting the house special - garlic picanha, which we see going around to other tables but never comes over to us. So we continue to ask about it. 15 minutes go by and then they come out and tell us they don’t have one ready and it’s going to take 10-15 minutes to cook. We expressed our displeasure and the manager stopped by our table - he said if they sliced it, it would come out quicker and would that be ok. We said sure - then 5 minutes later, they brought out a thick piece of meat cooked rare and said it was garlic sirloin - which then was corrected to say it was garlic picanha. When we tried the meat, it was chewy and not good. We had high hopes for this place, but it wasn’t our first choice. We tend to go where we know when picking a Brazilian steakhouse but the wait time there was over an hour, so we gave this place a shot. Next time, I’ll wait the hour to have the quality and service I expect.

Last night I enjoyed my first experience at Galeto. We started out with the pão de queijo, fried bananas, and fried polenta, they were all delicious. Next up, the gourmet table was fabulous. I especially loved the lobster bisque, sesame ahi, & the mussels. There were so many choices available on the gourmet table, that it would have been a wonderful meal on its own... but I was happy to have experienced the full churrasco experience with all the delicious meats. Many of the meats seemed to miss our table but luckily I did get to try the Alcatra, Picanha & Picanha com alho, which were all well seasoned, tender, and delicious. The three offerings of desserts all looked delightful and through sharing I tried both the chocolate mousse and the creme brûlée. The mousse was light and not too sweet or overly chocolate, and the creme brûlée was perfectly smooth and delightful. I do wish that our table saw more of the meat selection as it would have been nice to try more offerings, but that being said, it’s not like anyone went home hungry. Overall an excellent experience and I look forward to returning to Galeto.

It was simply “ok”. The service from the servers was definitely a 5 stars, very attentive and polite. The service from the “passadores” (meat servers) was below average. They were extremely unorganized and need it to be constantly reminded of how we like our meats. This is only a problem when you compare them to the other Brazilian steakhouses such as fogo de chão or chama gaúcha (5 stars restaurants). At fogo or chama, you only need to tell them once how you would like your steak, they go to the back write it down and only serve they way you like it. At galeto, not only they could not keep up but only served limited choices. They are at the same level of beef grill and Ipanema but at a higher cost...definitely no where near fogo or chama. Here is the breakdown: Service: servers were on point but meat servers were below average. Meat: Could not get it right. Unseasoned and not served to liking. Salad bar: Great options but average execution. Some unseasoned items. Deserts: Too sweet but that a personal opinion. Drinks: caipirinha was ok, but not exceptional. Overall: Lightly disappointed with the overall experience. Definitely not in the same level as fogo de chão or chama. I worked at/with a few Brazilian steakhouses (including fogo) and I can tell that the staff needs extra training. I have hope that they can turn it around because the restaurant is absolutely gorgeous and they have a great ambiance, but needs to make adjustments. I would love to give it another try but this will definitely not be my first option.

All the weight staff was very friendly. provided a good description of how the food was served as this was my first time at a Brazilian steakhouse. All the food at the buffet was very fresh and and very tasty. When meats were requested the staff was very quick and provided a large selection of steaks chicken and pork. Every item that was wrapped in bacon was amazing as were the items that were not. Would definitely return.
