My husband took me here for a congratulatory dinner after my graduation. This was our first time and I think it was the perfect place for this occasion or any occasion. Everyone was attentive, one server told me she was inspired by the fact that I finished what I started. Our server was super friendly, informative and attentive. I definitely recommend this establishment.

Dinner at Gelato Brazilian Steakhouse turned into one of those meals I kept thinking about long after I left. From the moment I sat down, the atmosphere felt lively yet comfortable — the kind of place where you can relax and take your time enjoying every bite. I started with some of the sides, and honestly, they could be a meal on their own. The sweet plantains were perfectly caramelized and comforting, the cheese bread came out warm with that addictive chewy texture, and the fried polenta was crisp on the outside and soft inside. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Then came the meats — juicy, tender, and carved with that unmistakable Brazilian steakhouse flair. Each cut was flavorful and satisfying without feeling heavy. What truly elevated everything, though, was the chimichurri. It was bright, herbaceous, and absolutely divine — I found myself adding it to nearly every bite. The whole experience felt indulgent in the best way: great food, generous service, and a welcoming energy that makes you want to linger. If you’re in Tempe and craving a satisfying, flavor-packed dinner, Gelato Brazilian Steakhouse is definitely worth the visit. I left full, happy, and already planning my return.

Romantic and Delicious!! We had an amazing experience at this beautiful restaurant! We went there for lunch today to Celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary! My husband is a meat lover and I loved the gourmet buffet it was the perfect combination, Everything is delicious, and the service is excellent ( our waitress was really sweet ) and the soft samba in the background added the perfect touch! ! I highly recommend this place and I know you will loved it as much as we did! Thank you so much!❤️❤️❤️

The atmosphere was amazing. Also everything was delicious. The staff was very attentive and the service was fast. 10/10 would recommend. You won’t be disappointed. 😄

The meats were flavor up but not cooked to my liking, the sides and appetizers were decent. Service was phenomenal and the waitservice were quick. Atmosphere was calm and relaxing.

This is the spot! It is Thanksgiving Day and I am so happy that they are open. I can't say enough about the staff! Incredibly friendy, professional, and fun. The food was amazing! The choices of meats, chicken, lamb, were delicious. The salad bar was incredible and all the warm sides to go with it. Fish, rice, mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese .... so much wonderful food. Loved the turkey and stuffing for Thanksgiving. The atmosphere inside was spot on. The bar and bar seating, outstanding. The Chandler location, great. Lots of parking.

This is a meat eaters paradise! If you enjoy beef, lamb, bacon, pork, lamb, and all kinds of other great food this is the place to go. Fresh sliced at the table. Highly recommend! Enjoy!

I may be spoiled by locally owned and operated Brazilian steakhouse in Tucson. The best food here was the cantaloupe wrapped in prosciutto - absolutely fantastic! Unfortunately, that should not be the case at all Brazilian steakhouse. Couldn’t chew through gristle/silverskin in the fraldinha. Had to take the pieces out of my mouth and put them back on the plate. The lobster bisque was very good, and came in as the second best food item. On a more positive note, my server Logan was top notch.

Husband & I come here semi-regularly for birthdays and anniversaries and we've never had a bad bite! The food is amazing and they have a bunch of different meats - if you don't see something going around that you like, they nearly always have it and bring it right over. The ambiance is super authentic (they keep the music and wall decor really Brazilian) and everything is always very clean. The only thing that is a consistent miss here is the service. The people passing around food, the host, & the managers (at least I think they're the managers, they're dressed differently and seem manager-ly) are always so sweet and nice, but we nearly always have an issue with an inattentive/busy server (even when the restaurant is nearly empty!). It's usually fine because there is always someone coming around that will notice an empty glass/clean plate/etc., but it definitely takes away from an experience that should feel pretty luxury.

I have been a patron of this restaurant for many years. Today my wife and I decided we wanted to have dinner here and we drove into the parking lot. A little background, I'm a disabled veteran and normally I can park a bit away and walk to the restaurant entrance, but today unfortunately wasn't the case. I unfortunately wasn't able to walk a lot and when we went to park in the handicap parking ( I do have a handicap placard) it was blocked off by the restaurant who had placed a cone on the spot. Two restaurant employees were setting up a carpet for an event they were having. One of the employees immediately just made hand gestures to move out and park elsewhere. I brought down my window to ask why I couldn't park there and I was told that there was an event happening. I proceeded to let the employee know that blocking a handicap space goes against ADA policy. Still I was told to park elsewhere and walk if I wanted to eat there. I normally would not even be bothered about this, but handicap parking spaces are there for a reason there are other folks that are in a worse situation than I am and by having them close the parking makes it difficult for them i.e. if they have a wheelchair or need assistance, I called and spoke to a manager to let her know of what had happened and she told me that it would remain closed for the following 20 minutes and when I proceeded to tell her that it was not legal for them to block off the handicap parking perm ADA rules then she backtracked and said that we can go ahead and come back and they would remove the cone so we could park. By this time we had already left and we decided to have dinner at The Keg in Chandler instead.

Wanted to love this place but left feeling scammed by the server and the restaurant... super disappointed! We went for Father's Day with my party of 5 ( 3 adults , 2 kids and a baby ( she's a year and a half ) - We arrived and were seated- then asked for our drink order in which we said water would be fine and 1 soda . They proceed to fill our 5 cups with water and we went on our way to proceed with the food . Towards the end of the meal - they began refilling our water and I told them we were fine and very full - so we were ready for the check ... this is when things started getting a bit disappointing for me . The waiter brings the credit card machine and loudly announces to our table the amount of the bill ( I find that unusual and a bit tacky - this was a Fathers Day treat but it also tells me to NEVER bring a client or hold Meetings to dine at this establishment because I find them announcing totals to be awfully distasteful ). Then the waiter proceeds to announce that he took it upon himself to add a 20% automatic gratuity to the bill as the baby makes a 6 th person ( policy is table over 5 get charged automatic gratuity . ) - I was again caught off guard because even though I was planning on tipping the standard 20/ 30% - I find it tacky that he took it upon himself to include a 1 year old as a 6th party even though she ate scraps off my plate ....again I don't agree with this! Lastly and the most irritating thing is that when I looked over the final bill again - I saw that we were charged for water ! $8 per bottle and they charged me for 2 bottles at $16!!! I have never been charged for water so that caught me off guard - what's even more troubling is that it was never discussed nor disclosed... we also NEVER asked for the 2 nd bottle and when they began refilling at the end I politely declined it .... Mind you , these water bottles used are held and brought Without seal -- if it's $8 a bottle HOW DO I KNOW THAT THE WATER ACTUALLY ORIGINATED FROM THE BOTTLE SOURCE AND IS NOT TAP WATER THAT WAS REFILLED IN THE BACK??? Normally At restaurants, consumers are given choices and in this case they never even disclosed anything .... Needless to say - I feel that this experience was negative and this restaurant scams people . Do not recommend

This is one of my favorite places in the area. I love to celebrate holidays and birthdays here. You have a little card that you flip, red for no more or you're not ready, and green to go. The steak is amazing - my favorites being the picana, the pineapple, the cheese with honey. The lobster bisque is also to die for!

Service and food very nice i'm very much enjoy my dinner. I love it. Foot phrase and test near me my family enjoyed dinner other day thank you.

We have been twice. First time was wonderful experience. Second time was this Thanksgiving. Still lovely but much of the meat was dry and chewy. My son and husband enjoyed the prime rib but my daughter and I were full by the time that came out. I don't think I'd go back for holiday meal.

I'll start by saying, the staff is super nice and attentive. However, this place was just not it for us. The inside appears to be clean. However, we fought with gnats the entire dinner. The salad bar had very minimal options and the same three types of steak came around the entire night. For $400, I would've like to experience all of the meats they say they offer during dinner service. I had to ask for filet mignon, only for it to take an additional hour to come out. Two of the three cuts were very fatty with the other cut being tough. I didn't like that we were not asked what temperature we'd like before the meat was put on our plate. Maybe I'm spoiled from other Brazilian SteakHouses. The only thing we all collectively liked was the pineapple and macaroni and cheese. The dessert also was just not it. I did not complain as I don't complain in restaurants and we tipped very well. I won't be back and can't in good faith recommend this place.

I absolutely enjoy each and every time I dine at Galeto. For this visit I sat at the bar to enjoy their 25 dollar special. The drink I ordered was the Cava Rose, this drink was really good. For food, I ordered the Fraldinha, which comes with six slices of barbecued Brazilian skirt steak served with chimichurri caramelized onions and a side of fries. This dish was very good for the price and I would highly recommend it.

Great food, great service, and a wonderful comfy classy vibe. Come dressed up, or come casual, either way you'll fit in fine. We'll be back next time we're in AZ!

This restaurant is a typical Brazilian steakhouse, modeled after Fogo de Chao; lots of meat and lots of other culinary "distractions"! Stick to the meat offerings, there are plenty especially with beef, pork and lamb. You will not be disappointed and worth the $50 of admission price for dinner.

Walked in because I was meeting my mom for her jobs holiday party. I was greeted by a host that directed me to the back room for the private party. I love the hot and cold bar and the meats were pretty good. I want to especially shout out our servers, Cory, Wesley, and Angel. They were all great. This review is from 12/11/2024

If meat heaven exists, I'm pretty sure it looks like Galet Brazilian Steakhouse. I walked in with an empty stomach and left questioning my life choices--like, why haven't I been coming here sooner?! The ambiance? Immaculate. It's classy but comfortable, the kind of place where you can impress a date, celebrate something big, or just treat yourself to an all-you-can-eat meat marathon in style. The lighting is warm, the decor is elegant, and the energy is just the right mix of lively and laid-back. The servers? They don't just bring meat; they present it like a gift from the gods. Swords of steak, waves of pork, chicken, and a never-ending carousel of deliciousness. I barely had time to recover from one bite before another perfectly cooked masterpiece appeared in front of me. I think they may have ESP because just as I thought, "Hmm, I could go for more picanha," boom--there it was! The pineapple cinnamon slices were the dessert I didn't know I needed. If you love meat, great service, a killer atmosphere, and the feeling of being lovingly attacked by flavor, this is your spot. Just wear stretchy pants and prepare to make peace with the fact that you will be full for the next 48 hours. Would give 10 stars if I could. Visited with my wife for date night. Made a 5:30p reservation on Open Table. We arrived at 5:15p and were seated immediately. The waitress arrived almost immediately with the complementary bread, fried bananas, and plantains. They explained the process (I wasn't sure if it was the same as Fogo De Chao), and we were off to races eating the delicious food. I tried everything that came out: tri tip, rib eye, lamb, rib cap sirloin, pork, chicken, and sausages, plus some of the food from the salad bar; I felt I should have some sort of veggie..haha. I wasn't a fan of the lobster bisque, but I'm not much of a seafood guy. The food was delicious, and it seemed like I couldn't keep up. I had to flip my card over to red a few times through the evening because the gauchos kept coming (which is what you want). I'm sure I ate my $60 worth, as did my wife. We'll surely be going back.

I went to brunch with my family for my birthday ! Food was great and an experience! Loved the grilled pineapple too. Something that I have never had before.

Rice was harder than a diamond. Slowest service I've ever seen in a Brazilian steakhouse. Meat took over 5 minutes for each round. The garlic picanha was great but the rest of the cuts were just ok. Not worth the price.

I'm first time at a Brazilian steak house; they made it my FAVORITE. I will be back! With friends! Perfect for date night or a large gathering! We even got a clip of them singing happy birthday the Brazil way! Sooo cute! Our server was awesome I think his name was Wesley!!! Gustavo, the GM really made our experience that much better while providing table side mock tails from the bartender and encouraging other fun activities to do after we eat! So grateful for the amazing food! REMEMBER TO TURN YOUR CARD! When you're full! Also i was bummed we couldn't take any home

Definitely a meat-a-thon. I have wanted to try a place like this for a long time. So I went with a few friends. The food was good! The lobster bisque was creamy with chunks of lobster. I tried so many meats and they were all good. I would definitely go back and pace myself so I don't get full too quickly. This place can accommodate large groups and the service was great!

We have dined here for the full churasco experience and it was great! Free flowing meats, market table and Brazilian side dishes. The food here absolutely phenomenal. The restaurant itself is beautiful and spacious! Recently we tried their new patio menu and it did not dissapoint! Plenty of Brazilian street foods like bolinho de bacalhao (cod cakes) and coxhinhas (breaded chicken thighs cheese) that you can't find elsewhere in AZ and the price is right too! $25 drink and appetizer special is a great deal!

The Food was really amazing!! I was surprised that the market table had Mac and cheese, salmon, and Lobster bisque soup!! The waiters and waitresses were very attentive and friendly such great service! definitely will be coming back!!

One of the best Brazilian Steakhouses around. It's a meat a thon! All you can eat. Let's just say our cards were always green! This place offers over 45 side dishes and over 21 cuts of meat. Great quality and service. The desserts are amazing as well! It's a local owned place and the owner walks around to each table to make sure everything is good. Very personable and great guy. His kids are the ones serving and cutting the meats onto your plate too. So it's a true family business!

I recently came here to celebrate a birthday with a group of family/friends. From start to finish the experience was bad. We had a reservation but weren't able to be accommodated properly. 8 of us were eventually crammed into 3 tables that were put together (each table being the tables for 2). The more frustrating part is that the restaurant was maybe at 50% capacity so they had the space. We moved on from that only to be ignored by our waiter most of the evening. We had to go hunt other workers down to order a drink. Half of our party only had their drinks brought to them about 45 minutes into the meal. The meats were good, if/when they made it around. We ended up eating mostly from the salad bar. Overall it was a big let down.

Not only is the food here absolutely AMAZING, the staff including the owner Eli are all incredible. We brought my in-laws here and they had such a fantastic evening and they raved how it was one of the best restaurant experiences they have ever had, and my husband and I agree! Definitely a spot to go whether it's a date night, a birthday or even a corporate dinner! Love the salad bar & warm sides as well as all the delicious meat options! Filet mignon is my personal fav

There's just no churrascaria in Arizona that can do it like Texas De Brazil. Why we don't have one I dont know smh. It's like I'm finally accepting it and will just wait till i'm in cali or nevada to get proper churrasco. Pros: 1. Good location with good parking. 2. Good service. Cons: 1. Small geriatric/bingo-like dining area with restaurant staff awkwardly standing in corners staring at people. 2. Horrible selection and management of sides: Mushy low quality rice. Watermelon slices? Really? And no fucking mash potatoes at a steakhouse SMH. Gatekeeping the lukewarm pao de queijo (cheesy bread). 4 pieces at a time for the table and then you have to flag a server down and ask for more. 3. Flavorless food and poor selection of meats: Beautifully cooked picanha without a modicum of flavor or seasoning. No flank steak. No Lamb Chops. 4. Poor value: Worth $60? Hell No. I went to Bad Jimmys in central phx afterwards to get a burger.

We went on Feb 15th for lunch my first time here and first time experiencing Brazilian food. It's was clean food was amazing I got full fast. There wasn't one bad thing. The music was a little loud for the day time that be my only complaint.

The staff is super attentive and friendly. Honestly not enough options for a Brazilian steak house but the worst part is all the gnats! I did not eat anything from the salad bar because there were so many gnats and they were all over the food. A waste of money save yourself some time and go to fogo.

The meat was really good and had a good time that they come to your table to offer you a cut of the meat and the grilled pineapple was awesome. But all the cold and hot sides were bland and little to no taste. It's funny cause the foods smell great but no taste at all. The service was great they were on point with the meat and our drinks. Good thing we went when someone else paid the bill cause we would not pay $60 per person to eat here.

Had food delivered for a business meeting last night. It was so good that I was not able to take a pic of the beef it came with. We. Had rice, beans, and broccoli as our sides. Oh and the deliciously dangerous cheesy bread, which I ate about 10. The food came hot and everyone could not believe how good the food was. Keep up the great work. For catered business dinners I highly recommend you give these guys a chance. Ask for Kim she fantastic!

This was our first time trying this restaurant and it was fantastic! Our server Adrian was attentive and courteous as well as friendly and professional. The salad bar had great quality and fresh offerings including a delicious lobster bisque. The pao de queijo was absolutely delicious, so fresh and warm , my absolute favorite side dish. All the gauchos came out with fresh offerings including our favorite picanha as well as the pork belly. The ambiance was perfect, with great music that wasn't too loud that you couldn't have conversation. It was a wonderful way to spend our anniversary and I highly recommend Galeto.

Great look and ambiance inside. Good for date night. I always enjoy the buffet bar, nice selection just on that. The meats are decent and abundant. They also come around quickly, so if you have a favorite, it will be back around before too long. Service has always been good.

Awesome service and great food. I was hesitant to come here because I can't eat much but they have new menus that cater to people like me. The customer service manager, Gilbert is my new best friend.

This is such a great Brazilian steakhouse! The salad bar is wonderful. Love the watermelon and feta salad. The meat and chicken is succulent and flavorful. Superb service. We've been here several times and I can't believe I neglected to post a review! Shame on me because this place is excellent!

It's close to Fogo, but service is a little more informal. Meat selection is good. Try the lobster bisque.

The food was great, love how they brought the meats to the table, enjoyed the most of all of it. Service was on point for the most part, kinda slow at times with drinks. The place was jam packed which killed the ambiance.

Amazing experience!! Literally everything was perfect. We barely ever say that when we go out. The gourmet bar selection was over the top and fresh and delicious. My wife would have been happy with just the buffet and no meats in fact. There was seafood, cheeses, soups, everything you could think of. As far as the rotating meat selection that were brought to the table, everything was fantastic! So much flavor, hot, good portions, and they came around fast! I was worried after reading a few reviews but they must have listened. Also, our server Anthony was great! Very friendly and attentive. Very good service. Our drinks were very good as well. My beer glass was frozen with ice chips even! Worth every penny here. Will be back soon.

We had an amazing experience during our family dinner. The first course had so many choices and was sooo fresh. And of course the meat choices were plentiful and every single one was perfectly cooked.

We dined here for the first time recently for a birthday dinner. First issue was multiple parties with reservations left standing while the only hostess at the front of the house would seat someone and then stop and help move tables and chairs in the dining room before returning to seat a party and then repeat. Took longer than it should to be seated with a reservation. No menu so no way to know price of the meal. My husband ordered a cocktail. I had water only. The process was explained to us and it appears that everyone is charged the same meal. The "gourmet" bar for your sides was awful. Minimal choices and bland. Everything tasted like it was out of a box or can. Salad bar was the same. Chicken salad and potato salad was the worst. Meat was hit or miss. My husband only eats chicken or pork. The bacon wrapped chicken sounded good but it turned out to be thigh meat and the bacon wasn't cooked enough. He couldn't eat it. Some of the beef was too fatty to cut around. None had any flavor. Cheap cuts of meat at a premium price. We had a dessert to share for the birthday. Dessert was good but also appeared to be a thaw and serve product. Our check for the two of us was $156. We weren't expecting cheap and we don't mind splurging for a quality meal and experience but this was probably one of the worst that we've ever had. We left extremely disappointed and upset that we spent what we did for a birthday celebration and couldn't eat most of the food. His basic cocktail was $17 and no top shelf requested. Dessert was $10.95. I would never eat there again and I wish I had checked reviews before we did. We would've saved over half our bill and gone to an actual steakhouse.

We made reservation and check in was quick. Host was super friendly. Quiet ambiance. Attentive servers. Great food. We were greeted by our friendly waiter. Told us how it worked but we told her we weren't newbies when it comes to Brazilian steak houses. They had decent appetizers. They put some bread and fried bananas once you've settled. I was very excited about the bread since every review I read seemed to hype it up but it fell a bit short for me since it wasn't fresh. It was a bit hard and cold so I didn't get the same experience like others. I enjoyed the garlic baby potatoes, rice and beans, fresh fruits. Tip: grab some cucumber to cleanse your pallet. Thank me later. Super refreshing that paired well with all the meat. The sirloin was my fave and other steak cuts. I'm very particular with my meats and their sirloin def hits the spot for me. Ended with crème brûlée and papaya cream. Our server bran and another lady were super nice. Very attentive and we appreciated that. TIP: grab some strawberries or fruit and eat it with your cream brûlée. We absolutely loved the service and food of this place. We will def be back. My picky husband enjoyed it as well and he's hard to please when it comes to these type of restaurants. Ps: I can also appreciate a clean bathroom. Thank you! Please keep it up. Second time going to this place and probably won't be a third time. When trying to make a reservation the server didn't even take my name over the phone which seemed very unprofessional to me. After telling them it was my one year anniversary they offered a free desert. Once at the restaurant the greeter didn't even take my name or number for the reservation even after I insisted because of the special occasion. Next our sever was very rude and off putting and made my girlfriend very uncomfortable. The food was no where near as good as last time, the meats were bland and almost flavorless, I was very disappointed in everything. Finally we were given a discount card last time visiting but I sadly lost it, the employee over the phone stated they would honor it if I could give them a name and date for when it was. After talking to multiple employees they could never resolve the issue and instead offered me a free desert, not realizing they'd already offered me one for the reservation and then another employee even offered a free desert when I showed them the text saying they cancelled my reservation even though I was seated in the restaurant. So to summarize if you want to sit down for bad service and over priced bland meat go ahead but just know every problem is solved with a free desert. At least I could enjoy this cheesecake while writing this review.

We LOVE coming to Galeto ! We've been here at least 4 times now and they have never fallen short of expectations! This is definitely a unique experience! It is basically and endless course of delicious high quality meats from chicken, pork, steaks, lamb...seriously everything! And to top it off they have a buffet style of side dishes, some of my favorite are the small potatoes, watermelon salad, ceviche (this stuff is amazing) and let me not forget those incredible cheese bread bites they initially bring out to you! The service is always incredible, your drink will never be empty and neither will your plate! At Galeto you will get a $1000 experience for average $75 per person with some drinks ! Ambiance feels so high class, fancy and romantic but don't let that spot you from making this your random Thursday night dinner pick because they are incredible all days of the week!
