Was a little difficult to find initially because the address didn't have the unit number but spotted very easily because the signboard was so big! Its a confectionery but strangely you are not allowed to enter and the bread are all displayed nicely and clearly you just have to point and the staff will come and retrieve it for you. Saw a few interesting items but the main aim here was to try the durian waffles which I have been eyeing for some time. Ordered one and it costs 3 dollars. Expensive? I think its rather reasonable but have to see the end product. Auntie told me to wait for a while as it was freshly made. Also had to wait a bit longer because the customer before me ordered quite a few. However it didn't take more than 10 minutes for me and I already got my waffles. I oversaw the making process and the lady applying the filling on the waffles which was so generous that its so value for money. Gave it a try and the waffles was good and crispy, and the durian was pretty loaded and good. Was even a little messy when biting the puree actually made the sides of the mouth a little sticky but who wouldn't like this kind of messy and stickiness? A little out of the way to walk but definitely worth it! Compared to other reviews I definitely didn't encounter any bad service staff here and the experience was pleasant.

Ordered a durian waffle and a plain waffle. Durian spread was very generous and cost $2.50 however the taste was quite artificial. Much sweeter than normal durian paste. The plain waffle was too hard, more on the crispy side but I prefer soft waffles so did not really enjoy the plain waffle.

Nice walffer and curry puffs. This shop is famous for the Indonesia Layer cake (Kuk Lapis), the taste and texture is good. It has a small coffee corner you can get a freshly brew coffee and snakes.

Frontline lady bad service, rude and argumentative over the Big displayed card price offers 3 for $4.50 on items in the counter priced $1.70 each. $2.00 each, over an unnoticed small price card 3 not for $4.50 not part of the displayed card price offers. WHY can't the shop owner have an additional displayed price card indicated items not part of the price offers to avoid price confused and misunderstanding of the bill payment.

Bought their pineapple tarts and it was surprisingly good!! Pineapple tart wasn’t too sweet, and the pastry is crumbly with a buttery fragrance that isn’t too overpowering or greasy. My family actually preferred their tarts to all the other “branded” pineapple tarts i bought for them at Takashimaya atrium haha

The taste of the bread barely average and the cream containing ones aren’t nice and the portion size isn’t generous too. If y’all want just walk further inside id recommend dj bakery. Also there is a fruit stall outside where rotten and expired fruits are cut and sold for a dollar. Don’t buy and get scammed

I am a return customer for the yummy waffles. To me, the waffles must be cooked until they become golden brown in colour, deliciously crispy exterior and soft in the middle. I got this perfect waffles all this while until 17.12.22 @ 815 pm. On this day/time, a young guy who cooked the waffle, probably he is rushing to close shop, the waffle was undercooked in the middle! The 5 stars rating is for other staff who took pride in their work.

I got my girl a plain waffle as she likes and asked Ting Ting (managed to know her name through another colleague who worked there) whether I pay now or later. She said pay now which I paid it and tell her that I will return back shortly to collect it. As I went to their corner and bought their mooncake and a popsicle cake for my girl. In less than 5 min, I returned back and saw one waffle packed. So I asked was it mine, the aunty who usually handled the waffle station said she don't know. She called Ting Ting who has previously did the station, she came back and said yes it was mine so she passed and we walked away. Then the aunty reminded her that there was peanut inside and not plain, she then kept shouting us back and I got my maid to return it while I was handling my girl. My maid don't understand Chinese but a commotion among themselves saying Ting Ting has forgotten our order. Hence I returned with my daughter asked why was it said to us it was ours initially and shouted us back to say not ours and took it back without any explanation. Ting Ting did not be bothered and I had to ask is she doing for us or not. She just said that yes, doing it now in Chinese and she turned her back on me then said if you don't want then I return you money. Then she opened the cash box to return $1.50 back without even any apologies. My girl was looking at me staring and i got mad and saying her be professional to communicate and even she is not a mother yet but can understand this is for a girl. Instead she laughed it out to her colleague aunty, which no one is siding her hence she kept facing her back to me and start to count money without even have the decency to face me and my daughter. Until i have to raise my voice at her, she said sorry with no sincerity. Coming from servicing line, this is not the right attitude to a customer for not even apologize and must be told then not being sincere but act funny, and facing back to a customer. With this incident, I doubt she can be reliable in handling the money properly then. Glacier has been in here for so many years but they kept changing the management and it is going downhill since then. I definitely will not patronize them from here onwards.
