The 14 Best New Restaurants in Palm Beach County

"Gallagher’s, an old-school steakhouse, opened in 1927 on 52nd Street in New York City by former Ziegfeld girl Helen Gallagher and gambler Jack Solomon. Known for its dry-aged beef prominently displayed, the restaurant offers starters like French onion soup or house-smoked bacon with chipotle pineapple glaze before diving into main courses. Signature dishes include New York sirloin, filet mignon, veal chop parmigiana, and Dover sole." - J. Miller

We celebrated a special occasion this evening at Gallagher steakhouse. We were greeted warmly upon arrival and our servers Steven and Renato provided extraordinary service. We really enjoyed the onion soup and the Caesar salad. The Dover sole was outstanding as well as the lamb chops. in addition, the side dishes were truly delicious. Mashed potatoes, spinach, mushrooms. And of course, the desserts were magnificent The pecan pie with homemade ice cream as well as the chocolate cake with ice cream we decided as well to take home, banana cream pie, and a chocolate layer cake We are looking forward to returning soon

This is the place! Call ahead to reserve the wildly popular prime rib. Everything was 10/10 especially the service! Jumbo Shrimp cocktail, best ever French onion soup, blue wedge, ribeye, New York strip, filet, sides were also amazing. Save a smidge of room for the made in house desserts & Cappuccino.

1st time at Gallaghers last night with my family after living in Boynton Beach for six years . I’m 83 years young and was with my wife, son , his wife and there 3 daughters . Enough about me and mine . We were greeted by Anthony D . His presentation was right on . I’m a Brooklyn boy and LI resident . All I can say is, I’ve never had a better steak dinner anywhere in Brooklyn , Long Island or Manhattan and if you name it , I’ve been there. Their porterhouse ( my favorite) was the best I’ve had in years . But it wasn’t only steak , the appetizers , sides and desserts were well presented and amazing ! Gallaghers is my must go choice now ! Michael Falcone Ps ; my wife reminded me that she was thrilled to see all of the NY Yankee memorabilia throughout the restaurant !!!!

Phenomenal experience! Our servers were Mark & Antonio, they were superb. They really went above and beyond and made my birthday dinner amazing! It was our first time coming to Gallagher's Steakhouse, and we will definitely be returning. We usually go to Council Oak at Hard Rock, but I think I have a new favorite now. We got the porterhouse, and the filet melted in my mouth like butter. Ask for Pittsburgh style rare steak. It was the best I've ever had. Crispy charred on the outside and buttery on the inside. We also got the sweet potato mash, and that was probably some of the best I've ever had as well. The ambiance was also very elegant and nice. I also recommend the oysters east coast style, very delicious. Thanks again!! Valet parking option.

We were there for lunch on my birthday and they had a lunch special, 3 courses for $35. We got the clam chowder which was delicious, the filet that came with creamed spinach, mushrooms and potatoes which was also very delicious and finally a cheesecake for dessert. Everything was great. My husband got a cappuccino I got an espresso martini which was 10/10. The service was great and consistent. I would definitely go back for such a great service and price.

From the moment my son and I walked in, it was clear Gallagher’s takes pride in delivering excellence. The ambiance struck the perfect balance between an upscale, sophisticated, and welcoming atmosphere. The service was outstanding — Kevin and Brandon were exceptional servers: attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm in their approach. It was also a pleasure meeting George, the manager, who was just as engaging and hospitable. Their teamwork truly elevated the experience. As for the food — it was simply exceptional, starting with the homemade date bread on the table. Our steak was perfectly cooked to our specifications, juicy, tender, and seasoned to perfection. Every side dish was equally delicious. This was our first time dining at Gallagher's and no doubt, this we'll definitely be back!

Wow! Fantastic Steakhouse. The food was “SUPERB” & prepared to perfection. Her Filet & my NY strip were cooked perfectly as ordered Pitt medium rare & Pitt Medium sliced respectively. Salads, bread basket, dessert and even the unsweetened iced tea were on point. Chris @ the bar provided excellent service. We are going back tonight for more delicious food. Mille Grazie! 🇺🇸🇮🇹

Yelp
I am CRITICAL when it comes to steakhouses. It's easy to mess up, because an excellent steakhouse experiences needs to nail a few categories: Ambiance, Service, Steaks, and Sides. Out of all the steakhouses I've tried, Gallaghers is the first to knock all of these categories OUT OF THE PARK! I've tried most steakhouses in Palm Beach County, and nothing holds a candle to Gallaghers. ATTENTIVE, INCREDIBLE waitstaff who ensure your experience is smooth and quick. Freshly baked sourdough bread and softened butter. MELT IN YOUR MOUTH dry aged steaks (I HIGHLY recommend the dry aged bone-in sirloin- one of the better steaks I've had in my life. They dry age in house! Finally, simply magnificent sides. Creamy, buttery mashed potatoes, elevated mac and cheese (equipped with a cheese sauce and crispy topping), delish veggies. My HIGHLY recommend their MUSHROOM BONE MARROW CRUST!!! Overall, Gallaghers an all-around incredible spot.

Yelp
Guessing Gallagher's doesn't need another 5 Star review but here goes. Dined at NYC Gallagher's many times and loved it. Not disappointed in any way at Boca location. Went at 3pm New Year's Day and lunch menu on the table but they willingly accommodated us with dinner menu items. However, the $34 lunch special menu is a very good deal. Love my sirloin black and blue and it was done perfectly. Wanted "real" onion rings and I got 'em!! Mashed potatoes as good as you can get. Party of 6, 5 ordered steak and just as happy as me. Banana cream pie?? Oh yes. And Baked Alaska!! Beautiful wood and leather decor, valet parking, friendly staff. And the best Makers Mark Manhattan ever. This is not an inexpensive restaurant but very reasonable for the quality and service. Happy New Year

Yelp
Our beautiful team came to celebrate Christmas party here during lunch time! We were seated outside by the patio. I was worried a bit that might rain but, that day was gorgeous day and plus they are have curtains ready to cover for rain or shine! Everyone enjoyed their food except as what I see one of my team had salmon sandwich looks untouched - there was more coleslaw and bread as what I see in his plate. However I didn't taste it! My go to beef carpaccio, calamari and the slice steak were delicious! I recommend!

Yelp
So I don't start this review completely negative. I'm going to talk about the service and ambience first. The service: top-notch waiters, the manager very attentive. The outdoor seating area is gorgeous. Indoor seating little bit loud, classic steakhouse style. Onto the food, this does not start out well --the bread was stale, however the homemade maple bread with nuts in it was good. The appetizer: the wedge salad was overdressed, the lettuce was sad. Positive: The French Onion Soup was delicious lots of onions, the cheese topping was excellent not too much soup base. The main entrées: the lamb chops were delicious, cooked, medium rare and seasoned nicely. Wasn't crazy about the home-fries though, I will give Gallagher's another try and I hope to better my three star rating.

Yelp
Great meal. Most NYC outposts that open in SoFla are more expensive and not as good as the originals--not here. Celebrated a friend's 65th birthday and everything was delicious--the bread, Caesar salad, NY sirloin (perfectly seasoned and charred on the outside), creamed spinach and desserts. Good service and clubby ambiance. Will definitely return for more visits.

Yelp
I've been to Gallaghers Steak House in New York City many times and have always enjoyed their excellent aged steaks and impeccable service. So, I was thrilled when Gallaghers Steak House Boca Raton opened its doors. The décor and atmosphere of Gallaghers Steak House Boca Raton is that of a distinguished gentlemen's club. Pictures are on all the walls, white tablecloths, spotless glasses, and flatware. I wasn't surprised that the food and top-notch service were the same, if not better, than in New York. Fir my appetizer, I eagerly went for the gazpacho soup. Though I prefer a chunkier gazpacho this one was totally satisfying and delicious. My partner went for the French onion, an in-house three-cheese creation, that he said was one of the best he had ever had. Fir my entree I had their 10-ounce filet mignon sided creamed spinach and roasted potatoes, sautéed mushrooms & onions, red wine sauce. It was perfectly done rare, as ordered and I found it to be of an excellent cut as well as tasty. As with Gallaghers Steak House in New York City, I find Gallaghers Steak House Boca Raton likewise to be Five Stars excellent.

Yelp
Waited 45 minutes past reservation. Ended up leaving after manager was rude and did not apologize or offer any concessions. Clearly overbooked. Too many great restaurants in area to treat people this way.

Yelp
We normally frequent other steakhouses in the area, but decided to try this one for a birthday dinner. We were a party of three with a reservation for 545 on a Friday night. Seated and greeted promptly. For appetizers, we had the wedge salad and barley soup. The wedge salad was overpowered by too much bleu cheese. The barley soup had absolutely no flavor. Speaking of no flavor, the bread was a disappointment as well. For main entrées, we had the filet, rib steak and sliced New York sirloin. We enjoyed the rib steak and filet however, the New York sirloin had no flavor. The steak itself was very tough and hard to chew/swallow. For sides we had the french fries and mashed potatoes, both were lacking in flavor. After our main dishes were dropped off, it took a while to get our waiters attention. At that point, I had had some of my friends filet and rib steak. He did ask if I wanted something else which I declined. A manager then came over and apologized and was very nice about it. The New York sirloin was taken off the bill and I believe the dessert was comped. For dessert we had the chocolate layer cake, which was delicious. They also brought out a molten lava cake for the birthday and a beautiful tray of fruit. The bill for all this including the tip was $240. No drinks other than water. Just based on the quality/taste of the food, I would not return.

Yelp
Soooooo typically speaking, we're loyal Abe&Louie people, took a lot of convincing to even try this place. We've literally heard 80% underwhelming and 20% should try. Beyond glad we did it. Our waiters were such a dynamic duo who complimented each other perfectly (Andres and Rinaldo). They're so attentive and sweet, very accommodating with my new food allergies and made perfect recommendations. Food was superb. Service was impeccable, noise level was minimal to none even though the room was fairly full. Price is to be expected but portions are massive. By the time our entree came I felt like we'd been eating for ever, between bread, soup, appetizers, etc. had to box our desserts without even looking at them because I would have been in a food induced coma. Very happy with our experience and for sure will be back.

Yelp
I went for a date night with the wife and we were both let down quite a bit. The atmosphere was that of an old school steakhouse with the volume of a high school gym. We could barely hear ourselves think let alone hear each other talk. None of the food was amazing, sadly we were incredibly underwhelmed. I could have made a better steak at home. When the dessert options were offered their banana cream pie was never mentioned, nor did I know it was an option. The dessert we ordered was mediocre at best. The second we finished it we heard another server tell the table next to us about the banana cream pie.... I was disappointed. Sadly I wouldn't go back. Not worth the price when the kitchen staff and waiters can't pay attention to the small details. Literally The only good thing was sauce.

Yelp
Never again. Too many great steak restaurants in boca. Had a 715 reservation....by 8 pm. Still not seated. Left and went to Capital grill. Great service great food.!!

Yelp
A New York staple made its way to Boca and lucky for us we snagged a reservation which from what I hear isn't easy. The location is right off the highway making it easy to locate. It is very upscale and the menu and service will attest. As soon as we walked in it felt like a piece of New York. The service needs a review in itself. I mean wow. Top notch. And to every detail too. Even while they were slammed we were apologized to often as we waited a bit while they played catch up. Their wine list is impeccable and extremely thorough with tons of options. Some affordable options with others on the super top shelf. The menu is pretty straightforward like most steakhouses; hot and/or cold appetizers, meat options with sides offered ala carte. I was most impressed by their tomahawks on display so absolutely make a point to walk towards the restrooms. You can't miss it. We started with oysters that were fresh and delicious. The shrimp and lobster dumplings were a big hit for the table. We almost ordered another round. The soy ginger dressing was a nice compliment for dipping. Unfortunately our filet's were just okay. A tad bit dry and lacking seasoning. Now the sauce it was paired with was a different story. Tangy and sweet making the perfect combination. I could do without the green beans next time. Same with the potatoes. Nothing special. If you're able to snag a reservation, Gallaghers is worth the splurge. At least one. And to be honest, I'd come back for the service alone. Chefs kiss.

Yelp
New Year's Eve dinner. Great choice, always on point. Food is great, Frank was our waiter tonight, service is top notch. Really terrific to have Gallagher's here in Boca. Were regulars. Wife had the pan roasted veal chop, spectacular!

Yelp
Excellent meal. Even better service. The meal was as good as their Manhattan location. We got the Porterhouse for 3 and we were a party of 4. It was perfectly prepared and was plenty of steak for the 4 of us. The sides were great. Get the crab cocktail as a starter, you won't be disappointed. Desserts were the perfect finish to a great meal.

Melissa S.

Yelp
Disappointing!!!! I had high hopes for this restaurant, but my experience was disappointing from start to finish. We ordered a medium-well steak, and after four tries, it still arrived at the table rare. To make matters worse, the gluten-free bread and Caesar salad werequested never made it to the table. The timing of the meal was chaotic--our sides were delivered 20 minutes after my main course, which is unacceptable. When they finally arrived, my salmon was cold and overcooked, making the meal nearly inedible. Although two managers attempted to address the issues, they were unable to resolve them effectively. I appreciate their efforts, but the overall lack of coordination and quality was too much to overlook. Sadly, I won't be returning.

Yelp
Ambiance is what you would expect from a NY style steak house. The inside looks great and there is a lot of covered outside seating as the cooler temps start sure this will popular. The music selection was good but a little loud. Just enough that causes people to talk louder to be heard. Service was great, lots of staff mostly working as two people per table. Julio has really Outstanding! Professional but the right amount of fun and customer interaction. Made smile several times. Food starts with bread which was fresh and very good. We don't get any appetizers as the meal was enough. Wife got the stuffed jumbo shrimp with crab meat and bake potato for a size. Nothing great just bake potato for $10. Nice size shrimp and a very good flavor and taste. I got ribeye which comes bone in. It cut about 3/4 inch thick. Was a little disappointed considering the $74 price. For a ribeye you need a marbled piece of meat as fat is cooked it helps with flavor and steak is more tender. In this there was one fat area at the edge and little inside. I felt ribeye was to lean and like some flavor and was a little chewy even at medium rare. Next the onion rings which I think good steak place should have. They cooked just right with golden color on the batter. I'm not sure if they make them or buy them but what disappointed me was someone in the process was trying to save money and about of them were the paper thin outside edge of the onion that most of us would peel off and trash. The other half was very tasty. Desert was a crème brûlée which was perfect. Wife had her decaf cappuccino which came in nice sized cup and little heart shape on top. So would I go back. Maybe, but not a solid yes. I think the steak at both Morton and Ruth Chris were better for the money have a better flavor. For me a great steak should stand on its own with flavor and tender meat. RC uses salt, pepper and butter and the meat shines. The service is super and beats everywhere else, but most don't run two persons per table. Only you can decide if what is most important, great service then it's your place. Great steaks well maybe. I have other Places highly recommended that I would try before going back here. I think the FL NY transplants will come as they maybe use to it from NY.

Yelp
Came in for a drink, and a dessert after a long day at work. Bartender made me an old-fashioned which was their own recipe, but it was really good. I had tiramisu and it was really good. I have to say the waiter was excellent as well. I am very impressed with this restaurant and would recommend it to anyone.

Yelp
First time trying ! We went for lunch time! Service was great ! We all enjoyed the soup of the day was good! My aunt enjoyed the Gallagher salad but says the chicken was dry and forgot to put dressing on so had to ask for the dressing. My mom got the blackened mahi mahi sandwich and was ok! Fries were good, though! I did the lunch: Soup of the day - good Sliced filet- good Key lime pie- good Wasn't a bad experience, I would go back!

Yelp
Is this really someone's 5 star? Lousy food, circus like service(clown show), louder than necessary and buffet restaurant lighting. With so many options nearby, this is a hard pass.
google avatar

Yelp
Service was excellent and our waiter was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, but this isn't the place for me when it comes to a steakhouse. Typically the appeal for me at a steakhouse is obviously the taste of the steak, but also the excitement surrounding the sides, starters, and the dessert. Started with the Cesar salad, which I wasn't a fan of because it's a true Cesar with lots of anchovies. Tuna tartare was good, but the baked clams were 10/10. If you like baked clams, this is the place to get them. I then had the rib steak which is their bone-in ribeye and in my opinion it was not very tasty and was tough, even though I got it medium which is like a medium-rare+. The house steak sauce tasted similar to ketchup to me so I wasn't a fan because I'm against putting ketchup on steak. Mashed potatoes were good, but basic. Onion rings were 10/10. The cheesecake and pecan pie were very good as well. My issue overall though is that in my opinion, there isn't anything i had that is pulling me to come back like some places have. Ambiance is similar to capital grille, but with the plethora of steakhouses and steak options in boca, I'd recommend elsewhere until they season up the menu a bit or add some nice steak specials.

Yelp
My wife Lauren and I went to Gallagher's in Boca Raton on Sunday Dec 15, 2024. We were slightly late for our 3:00 reservation. The temperature outside was 75 degrees and we requested for outdoor seating. The polite Hostess escorted us to our outdoor table and were seated by 3:30. Seconds later, our waiter Julio came over with glasses of water, a bread basket, the Lunch Menus and kindly asked if we needed anything to drink before departing to get Lauren a cup of coffee. Our Waitress, America (yes that is her name not a misspelling) she was friendly and informative and explained the items on the menu. Lauren ordered the Cheese Burger with fry's and I had the 3 course Lunch, Wedge Salad Chopped with Chunks of both Bleu Cheese and Bacon, Sliced Filet Mignon in a savior rich sauce, with Sautéd Mushrooms Onions, Creamed Spinach, and Roasted Smashed Potatoes. And for Dessert had to have theCheesecake. While we waited for our meals we enjoyed the music that was playing at a comfortable level so we didn't have to raise our voices to be heard. The food came out in no time and both our meals were fantastic. The cheeseburger was huge, juicy, and cooked to order. The fries must have been double fried they were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. My sliced filet mignon was cooked to perfection, it was so tender and the gravy was excellent. The roasted smashed potatoes were nice and soft and paired well with the sautéd mushrooms and onions. Oh I almost forgot to mention the dollop of creamed spinach that was also tasty. The food was excellent, I was full but kept eating it because it was that good. And then there was desert, I had the cheesecake that was light and delicious with a dollop of whipped cream and strawberry sauce. The to die for Chocolate Cake (decided to pack it up to take home) it was great. To the Chef's and Bakers, thank you for the fantastic meal. And to America, Julio, and Emery you guys are awesome, asking if we had any food allergies, informed us of the food choices, checking in on us periodically to see if we needed anything even though you all were busy attending to the larger tables of customers. We definitely will return back to try the rest of the menus.

Yelp
As a writer for more than 25 years reviewing restaurants for Zagats in NYC I can honestly say I've eaten at every steakhouse in NYC. A few became my favorite places where I would return on a regular basis. I was at Gallaghers in NYC only 2 or 3 times at the most I always liked it but because of the numerous places in the big city I made a few others my primary residence. Now that I'm fully retired and recently moved back to Boca Raton a few months ago my new home for a wonderful steakhouse experience is without question going to be Gallaghers. I've been to the main place here in Boca Raton many more times but it never felt like home to me...maybe because it's a Florida place I don't know. Every time I walk into Gallaghers I feel as if I'm back on East 72nd Street I have that NYC vibe and now I'm in my happiest steakhouse place. The waiters are fantastic one tried talking me out of getting my lobster broiled because the meat sometimes sticks to the shell I agreed to have it steamed not a problem but he had it placed under the broiler for a short period of time and I could tell the difference in the taste I got what I want. They know how to do a Pittsburg char my last 2 steaks were better absolutely perfection...I love the shrimp scampi and the baked stuff shrimp also. My favorite appetizer is the clams casino one of these days I'm going to get the shrimp and lobster dumplings maybe tonight. The 52nd street salad I had for lunch it's not on the lunch menu I think it belongs there. They make a 16oz.. yes a 1 pound hamburger that I had no problem eating. Everything here is perfect from the fast service to the no nonsense bartenders and the friendly managers who come by to make sure everything is done properly. This is my go to steakhouse in Boca Raton I don't care what my friends think particularity my friend Evan who thinks he knows it all. I'm the know it all when it comes to steak done my way after living in NYC for 36 years I'll always get the best it's what I deserve. This place is Boca's best. Nothing compares. Nothing comes close. I just posted 6 photos...lyonaise potatoes, the epic hamburger, NY Strip, 52nd Street salad, clams casino, and the baked stuffed shrimp.

Yelp
Service is impeccable! Food was done perfectly? Larry the Manager is first class. Love this place!

Saturday night , before Mother's Day Had a 7:45 reservation, received a text and responded on the way , arrived at 8 and seated within 10 minutes . Service started out great , then slowed , then another waiter stepped in and it was perfect from then on . Bread ,spinach and lamb chops were very good , the wedge was delicious and the steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare perfection. Loved the music and the steak house charm . Looking forward to dine again soon .

Yelp
I came here for a work holiday luncheon and I enjoyed the lunch menu that comes with an appetizer, entree and dessert. To start, I got the french onion soup, my entree was the steak and I got the cheesecake for dessert. The French onion soup and the shrimp wonton's that was ordered for the table were my favorite of the day. The crab cake was also great. Because we had a big party, the servers were busy but still attentive. It was the Friday before Christmas, so it was a busy afternoon for them but glad I got to come and try their eats.

Mitchell M.

Yelp
Very disappointing meal here recently to the point where we have to question whether their Boca location is worth it to try again after the several meals some good, some mediocre some very good. This last time was a disaster. We did have the burrata which was very weak - as I've mentioned previously lacking in flavor and seems like "store" bought. Needs either a new purveyor or figure out some better method of making. Inside tasted like bland cottage cheese - yep. We were informed no tomahawk that evening so opted for a what the waiter said was a 25 or 26 ounce bone in ribeye. Told him we wanted pink no red ( always describe it this way to server as each steakhouse has a different barometer for classifying rare, medium rare and so on). Steak came out blue/red yuck! Server takes it back. Comes back mildly better cooked deep red still with blue. Manager floated by and saw things were not in order. Would you like us to cook it a little more? Huh after two tries you think I want to gamble on a third? So he gave my wife and I a glass of wine for the screw up. The potatoes lyonnaise that I love when fresh seemed like it was pre-cooked hours before served soft although darkened black texture which if fresh and crunchy could have been great. Service was rushed. An interesting side story. Called the restaurant earlier in the day to see if they could move our reservation time a little later. Ten minutes on the phone including 5+ minutes waiting where she could not accommodate even 5 minutes later. Just as a gamble went on Internet and with no problem gobbled up a 30 minute later reservation. For now I think we will avoid Gallagher's Boca. The experience and food is night and day different from their great Manhattan one.

Yelp
Several trips to Gallaghers. Tonight was not as expected. Food was good but service was poor. Request were late or maybe missed sides were totally missed. We may not be back.

Yelp
With so many steakhouses in a 5 mile radius, Gallaghers had stiff competition. Coming from New York, this restaurant had a lot of hype as it made its way to Boca. Not only did it live up to the hype -- it moved to the top of the list for my choice in steakhouses. We had a little delay in our table being ready and Kevin, one of the managers, felt horrible and apologized. He brought us a complementary round of drinks and 2 delicious appetizers to make up for the wait. What a class act-- a friendly and professional manager who absolutely values his customers' experience. Service (Manny & Jason) was very attentive and friendly. The appetizers were very delicious - clams oreganata and shrimp/lobster dumplings. Steaks came out perfectly cooked and not over seasoned -- they were prime cuts where you could discern the quality. Creamed spinach was delicious and not overly salty and the onion rings had great texture and flavor and most importantly, no greasiness. They did forget the bread basket and we asked about it right before the meal came out -- that was the only misfire. But no points docked because of the overall experience and the bread was good anyway. It was a birthday so the complementary molten lava cake was much appreciated and tasty! We ordered a chocolate layer cake as well which wasn't too sweet and was so good. So happy we chose Gallaghers not only for our steak craving but for my birthday as well. A 100% we will return!

Yelp
My wife and I went for the second time in a month, this time for her birthday. She loves the prime rib and from tasting on our anniversary a month before I love the prime rib. This is the most attentive restaurant I've ever been to. You have to get there in time to get your prime rib order in before they're gone. This time we sat at a pub table by the bar what great experience. Forties music like Billie Holliday and an old style bar was something I haven't experienced in years. Great nostalgic pictures some of the old days back in the first Gallaghers in Manhattan. We saw a familiar face in the former bartender from park tavern and tin roof of Delray..."Gem". We didn't get around to approaching him but we'll be back definitely. The best experience I've had in Delray or Boca but yes pricey.

Yelp
I so wanted to experience this recommended restaurant. I live in Pennsylvania and wanted to send a 250. gift card to my brother for a very special birthday. I tried for about a week to purchase this gift card and got such a run around like "we don't sell them here and told me to call the New York location. I did that twice and was told I would get a call back. I never got the call. So frustrating. I had no choice but to purchase at one of the other steak houses. I work in the service industry and that is just unexeptable.

Yelp
Amazing Food and Service! We were lucky to get a reservation... this is a VERY popular place right now and learned that the next available spot open was for 2 months from now. As soon as we walked in our table was ready, our server has very nice and saying how happy he was to have us dining with us. We got the menus, and were given enough time to look them over. We got wine recommendations, and also the specials of the day. To start we had shrimp cocktail, fresh and good size. Their cocktail sauce has horseradish in it, very delicious, and for those that need more, they bring it on the side. The jumbo lump crab cocktail was amazing! I can't stress how amazing this was, definitely a must! Salads are individually served but we asked to share and they divided them evenly between our entire party. And the same with the lobster tails we ordered for the table. They cracked them for us, prepped them and divided them between all of us, with a side of warm butter. I had the NY Sirloin and it was cooked to perfection. Flavorful, tender and very nice portion. The sides are a la carte and equally amazing. We got to try the mashed potatoes, Lyonnaise, green beans, and broccoli rabe, but there are more to choose from. Wish I had room for dessert, as they said they were all made in house but, maybe next time. The reason I took a star off is the place is very loud and hard to have conversations, and they only offer valet parking. But, again, food and service, absolutely amazing!

Yelp
Amazing Dinner at @gallaghersboca Tuna steak black and blue. It's like a fillet mignon. Yes, also had the real Dry aged (in there on premises meat aging room) Filet Mignon. It's a sight to behold seeing all that beautiful prime beef in the perfectly temperate, humidity and ventilated glass enclosed room. Then to taste that filet. Yummy. We are enjoying our very Own (Chateau & Estates) imported 2018 Chateau L'Oringiere Premier Cu Bordeaux. Well it actually doesn't get better

Yelp
This place is great to sit outdoors. Ambiance is a bit marine themed outside and more upscale inside. Predominantly all male staff. Service was impactable. The food was good. I wouldn't say great.

Yelp
My husband and I came for Christmas dinner. We shared the house salad, crabcake appetizer, the 14 0z filet mignon and swordfish entree. The food was perfectly prepared and delicious. We were too full for dessert, so we had key lime pie to take home for later. I have to say it was one of the best key lime pie I've had. I waited too long to dine as this beautiful establishment based on the negative reviews I read and that was a big mistake. Do yourself a favor experience the restaurant and judge for yourself. We will most definitely be coming back.

Yelp
Only had a drink and clams. Jim made excellent side care and clams oreganata were perfecto. Jim explained the entire menu and will be back. I love a good ribeye. He also went through appetizers and there are some good selections. But you must come. Restaurant is done tastefully and I can't wait to come back!

Yelp
We are frequent diners at 52nd St so we're excited to try our favorite NY neighborhood restaurant here in FL. Our servers Louis and Jose were okay. Jose was always filling our water and taking away used plates. Louis took our order but had a strange sense of humor that bordered annoying. We did see Michael the old GM from NYC. Ambiance was lovely and they did a great job replicating NYC, especially the bar area. Food. Two filet mignons which were cooked perfectly. One NY strip cooked perfectly. The big fail was the lamb chops. Again, compared to NY this was a huge miss. Very disappointed in this dish. Sides were fresh fries, hash browns and creamed spinach all excellent. Started off with a green salad and onion rings which also were excellent. Louis told us it took them three weeks to replicate the NY recipe on the rings which were very very close. Ended with a cheesecake and chocolate cake, both excellent. I must add that the 52nd St Old Fashioned was perfectly replicated as well. The night ended with Louis almost throwing the credit card machine down on the table. It felt like it was done on purpose like, time to go...probably won't return to Boca, but will stay true to NYC for sure.

Yelp
Last night Gallaghers Steakhouse (GS) was a scene. Saturday night in a new venue. Clearly the place to eat and be seen if you are young and rich. When I went to retrieve my humble 3 year old Lexus NX300 from the valet a quick glance around the parking lot identified a half dozen Porsches, 2 Bentleys, a Rolls Royce, and several Ferraris. Clearly for many GS patrons $300 a couple for dinner (easily achieved) is of little concern. My take is for that price dining perfection is called for. Our experience (party of six): Ambience: Pleasant but loud. Average noise level 85 db. Service: Professional and competent. Steaks: Minus at least one star. A medium cooked porterhouse came out close to well done. A medium-rare came out rare at best. I knew going in that steak house venues will be expensive. I have now decided that for me they do not represent a good value.

Yelp
Third time here... I love it. I can nitpick, but I don't want to. The service is excellent - thank you, Robert and Sebastian. The vibe is exuberant. The food is delicious. Just an overall great place. Ok. My nitpick. Change your olives for the martinis. You can do better.

Yelp
New location but a definite disappointment. Nice venue. Bar tenders are attentive and provide quick service. Did sit at our table exactly on the reservation time. Service was good, but not exceptional. Wait staff obviously has some learning to do in order to step up the "high end" steak house service at the tables. I've been to many high end steak houses in Florida, NY, etc. this one falls to the bottom of my list. Food was the real disappointment. We shared the porterhouse for 2. Not worth it. Had no flavor, sections were tough and fatty. Not juicy and tender as expected. The filet mignon was ok. Sides were the broccoli rob. We ordered sautéd and we got steamed, no flavor. We also had the onion rings which had more breading than onion. Pecan pie was our dessert. Ordered it warm, came out cold. Actually sent it back to be warmed up. Cappuccino was good, but warm not hot. With the "other" choices near by, I won't be headed back here anytime soon. If I am going to pay for the high end steak house, this is not the place.

Yelp
First the bartender was a blast so we had before dinner cocktails. Negroni was spot on. Our table was by the door but my fault I made reservations for wrong date and they were nice enough to seat us Food was exceptional, baked clams NY style and crab cake all crab. The men had prime rib which was tremendous but too rare for me and we shared the diver sole. Excellent. Aides were cream Spinach and baked potato delish . Desert was memorable homemade banana cream pie just yummy and 7 layer chocolate cake can't go wrong. Decaf cappuccino like a bathtub and so good. Ambiance was nice and waitstaff A+

Yelp
Went for my husband birthday. Reservation was for 7:30, seated immediately but waited 30 min for bread, got appetizers before the bread. Heard the waiter snap at his food runner for not being on top of bread. The table next to us was served and finished before we even got our dinner. Very loud with a huge table of 12 sitting next to us. Good don't arrive until 9pm and no one even seemed to take notice of the crazy wait we experienced. Food was OK. Prime rib, steak and a fish dish with 4 sides should never take an hour to arrive. Staff seemed overwhelmed and under prepared for the night and was more worried about the larger table next to us. Had a better experience the first time and probably won't be back. Very disappointing for the amount of money we spent.

Yelp
This is a new restaurant they have a sister one in New York that's been around for 90 years I must say everything was excellent the server Jeron wasenthusiastic but he was very busy so service was a little bit off. The green salad was excellent. I must say it was a small portion it's really not shareable. The bone in sirloin was outstanding the grilled tuna steak it's one of the best I've had in a long time great quantity and quality and price was very fair. The baked potato was an average baked potato, a glass of wine house was pricey$15 the ambience is really nice. The only negative thing I can say is that it had a very bad acoustics. It was very difficult to really have a intimate conversation without elevating. Your voices, unfortunately we were so full from the bread basket that we didn't have room for dessert, so I can't wait to go back and try the dessert and some of the other entrées they have this is definitely a winner for Boca. There's free valet parking.

Yelp
Great service by America, I ordered French onion soup and it really wasn't hot. No problem. She heated it up in the kitchen and brought it right out.

Yelp
I love this place. Went there for New Year's Day and they had a massive table for our group. Everything was delicious. The service was fabulous and professional. They have a great price fix meal. That is not just what they want to get rid of. It's a huge choice menu. Pretty much my favorite steakhouse in Boca.

Yelp
A trip down memory lane, or so I thought, I was excited that an esteemed NYC steak house came to Boca, I was wrong. The place did not capture my childhood memories or even my early adult memories, this was a light boca chic country club feel or Beverly Hilton Hotel look, rather than a storied dark beautifully done old school staple. The filet was extremely salty - it was as if you took a salt shaker, opened it up and threw it indiscriminately in my mouth, I cut the entire outside charred part off and tried to only eat the inside, there was more steak left on my plate than in my tummy. The steak sauce, sold as a better version of the Peter Lugers sauce was anything but, I would have preferred going to Publix and buying the sweet baby Jane bbq sauce over whatever this was. Only two recommendations 1) stay away and 2) stick with NY Prime, right down the street- no comparison, NY Prime is the still the house to beat and they are far from the finish line, almost last place.

Yelp
Went for the third time. The last time they screwed up my food and I vowed not to return but my son said he wanted to try it today on our way to Houston's. Well,, they got the food wrong not once today, not twice, but three times. I kept my cool and the manager John came by (waiter did right thing and alerted him) and was genuinely concerned. Not only did he offer us dessert but he comped our entire meal unexpectedly. I will absolutely be returning knowing that management cares this much. This is the proper way to run a high class establishment. Many people can learn from the way John runs this place.

Yelp
Great food, great service and a little bit of NY brought down to South Florida. The staff in kind, considerate and are conversational re your questions!
