The best sandwiches in Chicago & Worth every penny you pay on them!! This store is like a small super market and you can find everything here. The new owner added many new things especially Turkish products like Turkish coffee, cookies, & etc.

Huge spot. There are so many options on food as well as being a cool convenience/liquor store. Stopped in for lunch. Got the salmon bagel, and it did not disappoint. I'll stop the next time I'm in the area

I have nothing but high praise for this store. Galleria Market is definitely one of the best deli spots here in Chicago. Most of what is on their menu is made to order, which is why the food is served hot and fresh. I tried their maple turkey club panini special and their cajun turkey club, and it was a big surprise for me! It was so flavorful, and the meat was so tender. The meat and the veggies really complement each other, especially since it was well-seasoned and cooked to perfection. There is a bit of crunchiness on its bun, which I personally like. This store also has several options for drinks and sodas to choose from. The service is superb, and my food was served quickly. This store surprised me, and I guess I will be back here anytime soon.

A wide variety of great sandwiches, and chips to pair alongside them. Personal favorite is the chicken panini, it will not disappoint and the rest of the menu is full of hits as well

My first thought of Galleria was that it was like East Coast Bodega masked as tiny Midwest Market. They got the juice they got the juice; munchies too, goods, liquor, and food in the back. This is a one stop shop to getting what you need on a Friday night or on a weekday afternoon. Service is straight, ambiance is mini market. Priced as you would expect in boogie River North. I ordered a southwestern Panini and it was flame! I'll definitely be back to try other menu items.

Great paninis and other sandwiches, quality Boars Head ingredients, friendly competent service, a grocery store full of drink selections, reasonable prices for the location. Great spot for breakfast or lunch. But it ain't trying to be Foxtrot. The unfinished space has all of the charm and ambiance of a free clinic. The bad reviews are a reflection on the reviewers IMO. Aside: I posted a hi-res pic of the menu board. Yelp compressed it to the point that it's unreadable. FAIL, Yelp.

Has to be kind of a stretch to call this a restaurant but it actually is. It's more like a convenience store but you can place orders and have food made. Galleria Market is a place to do grocery shopping and have a bite. Kind of convenient. The prices are pretty high on a few things. Basically it's a convenience store but it makes kind of fresh food. It has a deli with Boar's Head. There's also menu items that don't have meat. Falafel is an example. The prices on the groceries are pretty high. Forget about going here for shopping and just stick to the deli. The sandwiches aren't the best but these are okay. Convenient to get a deli item. It just has kind of high prices. The actual grocery part is even more of a ripoff so just avoid that stuff and stick with the freshly made sandwiches.

I ordered online for delivery. My sandwich was still warm & crispy and ABSOLUTELY delicious! I ordered the southwestern panini and it HITTTTTT! Will be ordering again and will tell my team about this. Highlight of my lunch breaks this week.

My phone was stolen by one of the employees and not until we made them pull up the security footage while looking for my phone, did he pull it out of his zipped coat pocket. He claimed he had just found it, but it was powered off and still at 52%. Otherwise, food was great and there's a good selection of alcohol.

It's raining and I wasn't in the mood to hike the few blocks to the Subway - and I had street parking paid for 15 minutes- so I stopped in for a sandwich. A few vegetarian options. The pepper jack cheese has a nice kick to it, overall it was a good panini, but priced high. The sandwich maker man was very slow and it took a long time to get my sandwich. The check out man was brisk and didn't offer a receipt. There are a large number of coolers with drink options. I got a kombucha, trying to be healthy. Ugh, and I just realized that my $4.99 bottle of kombucha expires soon-better drink up.

We LOVE the sandwiches at the Galleria!!! We come here once a week for both breakfast sammys and lunch ones, and all of them have been amazing. Highly encourage!!

Great go to for quick sandwiches. I get the pesto Turkey forgetting the name but it's a panini that's butters and toasted to perfection. Add a slice of Swiss for the win and you are in foodie heaven. Well I wouldn't go that far but this just hits the spot every time. Their sandwiches are not huge, reasonable priced, can easily eat 1.5 of them (is 2 going too far?!). If you are heading to the court house over there or live locally, you will get a solid breakfast or lunch at the Galleria.

Great selection on all the booze! Great paninis and breakfast sandwiches! The staff is amazing and knows a lot of the regulars by heart. It kinda sucks that they got robbed and the store looks dingy but not a lot of options after the Walgreens closed

Do not Oder sandwich's here. We ordered 5 sandwiches on a Sunday morning. No one was even in the store and it took them 25-30 minutes. I thought I was on something, it looked like they were moving in slow motion. Then after all that they messed ALL 5 sandwiches up. Why write it down just to mess it up. They make one sandwich and then take a break to talk on the cell phone and start texting people then when they look over and notice you still watching them they will make the next sandwich. The older guy is super creepy and try's to be all buddy buddy with everyone. He asked me "did you get messed up last night" what kind of question is this. Do not shop here

This place is great, nothing else needed to be said. Both breakfast and lunch sandwiches have something special to them. The sandwich gurus will brighten your day and your wallet will thank you!

I was looking for a quick and convenient spot for a week day lunch and this place fits the bill. My chicken club panini was quick and fresh - perfect avocado! Will come back to try soups and more of the sandwiches. Service was friendly and helpful

Not good $10 for a sandwich... just the sandwich. $15 for a sandwich and drink. The sandwich was unappetizing and overpriced. Go elsewhere for Italian subs and paninis. Go to Bari or Bongiorno's or J.P. Graziano even.

Really good sandwiches! I've only had the breakfast sandwiches, but daughter had the breakfast burrito. Both were awesome. Unfortunately my sandwich game on whole wheat break instead of the panini I ordered. When brought to their attention they apologized, but did not offer to make it correctly or anything for their mistake. Hence, 4/5 stars.

Their sandwiches are amazing! Closest I'll get to a NY bodega hero! Would highly recommend. The paninis are also delicious!!

This place is the best. Their sandwiches are some of the best I've ever had. Their salads are custom and they are always delicious. I come here at least once a week. It's not Binny's but the alcohol selection is great. The best part is the employees are all really nice. They have free WiFi and they carry essentials like milk, eggs, coffee, etc and plenty of snacks. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

This place is like a fancier 7-11 with a really expansive menu deli. You can smell the sandwiches right when you walk in. There's a big seating area and condiments right on the side so you don't have to ask for them. The sandwiches are really big and really filling. The heated ones are a little greasy so be prepared with napkins. It's a good place to grab a quick bite to eat. A decent price for River North too.

Great place for a quick good lunch. The Italian sub was filled with great tasting meats and fresh veggies. The bread was nice and soft.

Don't order delivery from here!!! They only sent half of my order and when I called they said they'd call me back. And they didn't. So I had to chase them down and the evidently the employee Teresa didn't give my delivery driver both bags and tried to blame him for "not automatically knowing" I would have wanted either the whole order or none of the order. Apparently I'm not allowed that choice... TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

The person working in the sandwitches was not clean at all he was scratching his back under hes shirt and was making my sandwitch he then went to take a order took cash and didnt wash his hands i asked him to because he picked up my sandwitch and told him please remake it and gave me attitude and said do you want your money back and rolled his eyes and didnt try to remake my sandwitch. This happen on the 16 of may at 6 pm dont go here they dont take propper sanitization serious

I used to order from here at least once a week for the last year while on my lunch break .They have pretty good paninis ,A good salad selection (though Outrageously expensive) and decent soups . Sure they are overpriced but working in River North you really have slim pickings within walking distance One day I randomly decided to check out their yelp reviews and read how everyone kept complaining about being overcharged .I'm not that person who has to go over every receipt to make sure I was overcharged so I never checked my receipt . After reading the yelp reviews I decided to check out the prices of what I ordered and made sure to look at the cashier as I was being charged and Guess what ? I was overcharged ALL THREE TIMES !I'm convinced I have been getting overcharged this entire last year but now that they notice I noticed I feel like I'm not being overcharged anymore (shocking ) Now I only come in here if I absolutely have to but have started venturing out further for other options when I don't pack a lunch .

Convenient, but probably one of the weirdest convenience store/food place combos. The staff are just not personable and everything is really marked up. But you pay for convenience and I keep coming back, so what can you do :)

When I first moved to River North, I was looking for places to get coffee. Oddly enough, this placed popped up on my searches as "coffee shop." Yes, they do sell coffee, so I guess the searches I ran are technically correct. When I first walked in, I was expecting coffee shop, but boy I was in for a surprise. This is about the last place in the world I would buy coffee. Also, it's more like an overgrown convenience store with a deli and a small seating area. To honest, in the few time I have come here, I have never ordered their food or purchased their coffee. However, that's the point. The coffee looks bad and the food appears unappetizing. It's not that mush better as a convenience store. To be fair, they have a pretty good selection of alcohol, including wine. However, the prices are are a bit high. So, if you are looking for a cup of coffee there are better options. If want to buy snack and other groceries, you better off going to the nearby CVS, 7-11 or Walgreens. However, if want to get some quick booze to get hammered and don't mind getting hammered in the wallet, this might be the place for you.

TAX SCAM. Please ask for your receipt. They overcharge every time in taxes. I bought a $12.99 bottle of wine and the total was $15.91 ... that's 23% in taxes!!! This has happened multiple times to me as well as friends of mine. Buyer BEWARE

Convenient spot to pick up a few groceries. They have a huge selection of liquor and soft drinks. The egg and cheese sandwiches are delicious and a good value for the neighborhood.

Best market in the city. Their boars head sandwiches are to die for and they have everything you could ever need in the market.

Dat Panini Doe! These sammies seriously rock my socks off. Been going here twice a week for the past 3 months with my pals. Satisfied every single time. Each sandy has its own character and spunk. The dudes working behind the counter are absolute pros! Give this place a try for lunch. It's saucy and sassy!

NEEDS A FACELIFT This place was cool 10 year ago. Now it just needs to get with the times because there are too many options in the neighborhood to walk over to. The Walmart express around the corner has everything, the Walgreens has liquor again and Trader Joes isn't that far from here either. So when I say this place needs a facelift, I really mean it. It needs to move into the future. They have liquor here, lunch meat, crackers and a grill for fresh food. It just feels dark and in uncheerful in here. My biggest complaint is about the grill exhaust system here! Either it doesn't work or they don't turn it on. My biggest pet peve is leaving a restaurant and smelling like the restaurant. On my last visit I was buying a few things and I ended up smelling like a dirty greasy grill. Honestly I smelled like I worked 12 hours at an all night diner. If I walk into a store for 5 minutes to buy groceries, then I don't expect to stink when I leave. So be warned if your on your way to that million dollar deal and you need to buy gum, please don't buy the gum here. Your client will start wondering if you grabbed a cheeseburger before the meeting. You will need to Febreeze yourself! I wish I could say the staff is helpful but they are not friendly at all. I really don't need attitude any more and I would rather spend my money at places that actually care. I will probably never come back here again. Like I said there are way too many places to shop at around the neighborhood.

Galleria Market makes the World's Best Breakfast Sandwich (or at least a top contender)! Do yourself a favor, put your healthy-eating intentions aside, and try the Bacon, Egg and Cheese on a bagel. Don't get it on a croissant or change anything - it's perfection as it is and the best way to overcome the lethargic haze of a Saturday or Sunday morning. Aside from the breakfast sandwich, the market offers a ton of lunch options and more specialty grocery items than you can possibly imagine. They also have a great selection of beer and wine. The only drawback- it can be pricey (I guess I should have subtracted a star for that) but the neighborhood location is convenient and the employees are warm and friendly.

This place is close, so that is the reason for the inordinate amount of check-ins. The cafe is odd in even the best light. There must be 80 different things one can order and that becomes mind-numbing during a quick lunch. The owner should read "paradox of choice" and apply some of the scientific recommendations in the book. Some of the food items are awful such as the Panini featuring prosciutto and cheese- in reality this was a ham n cheese sandwich on grilled wonder bread. I typically order a veggie wrap w avocado, and I like it. The place is a little overpriced and that comes with the territory in River North. Considering there are better and cheaper meals that can be purchased within walking distance of this place, this should not be your first choice. Protip: Most everything available at the market is overpriced including pita bread, canned foods, beer and liquor.

They do have a nice wine section and they are not creepy like the corner liquor store. They also have a variety of imported and organic chocolates which is a plus for me. Wine and chocolates make Moni K very happy. They do not have everything I was looking for some pie crust and they did not have that. The market is really nice inside, and very convenient if you are downtown Chicago and need to pick up few things. I was also lucky to get parking right in front...they do not have parking...so I made by visit brief.

PRICES ARE OUT OF CONTROL!!!! Almond milk (the small box) is $4.99. Everywhere else this stuff is $1.99. Wine that is generally $15 max is around $25. No idea how this place stays afloat aside from no other grocery options within walking distance. It's really a price gauging situation going on here. ALSO, The service is horrific. They are not helpful with finding items when you need them, and when you don't, they stalk you like you're going to steal something. Reminiscent of the "Hurry up and buy" scene in the movie "Friday." If I never have to go here again it would be a blessing, but, I likely will b/c nothing else exists in this part of R. North. SMH

GREAT sandwiches, they will make pretty much whatever you want if they've got the ingredients. Absolute BEST turkey rueben in town, hands down. Soups are good too. The store part seems expensive, but the food counter is reasonably priced and very good!

I don't know what the F they do but the turkey sandwich on a French roll had been my biggest craving through this pandemic. Such crunchy bread and fresh turkey. Pop it in the microwave for twenty seconds and you'll be in a state of euphoria .

Adorable place with almost everything you can possibly think of at a convenience store. You've got your wines, your cheeses, your deli meats. You've got a salad bar, a deli, and snacks. There were other items food-related but I stopped looking - it's a pretty big place! They even have a few baskets of Asian snacks including wasabi peanuts and shrimp chips! I've had the BLT with avocado and cheese sandwich from the deli area twice now. $5.99 ($6.99 if you want it on a butter croissant), this sandwich that comes with a pickle spear, is actually pretty tasty! It's panini-pressed, everything is nice and hot, it's got this great crunch to it and you can taste every ingredient, including the buttered wheat bread. Yes this place is a little more expensive when it comes to all their individual items (e.g. sodas, snacks, etc.) but despite its size it's still a convenience store. For some reason the people here don't enjoy smiling, but with the lines they deliver their lack of obvious joy isn't on purpose. So I'll be back! To try out more sandwiches! Btw, I've heard they have an awesome $1.99 egg and cheese sandwich for that great breakfast you've been craving every day you walk to work - you know you want it.

Walked in to grab some beer and was immediately like wow - what is that smell? After catching my bearings, I proceeded to start my mission. So I put my scarf over my nose, made my way back to the beer, and then noticed #VictorySourMonkey was $18 (for a 6 pack!). Now folks I buy this 6 pack for $12 anywhere. So I ask the store manager if they price match and he said no. Not only did he say no, but he shrugged his shoulders like "who cares"... My advice to you all - STAY AWAY! I should have walked out after falling over from the smell.

This place is so shady. Pretty sure they are doing some kind of tax scam. Always overcharging. For example, 46$ for aperol? Should cost 25$!They said it was because of tax. Don't go here unless you want to overpay

So I rarely write reviews actually this might be my first. I like this place because of the convenience that it's a block away from where I work with decent Sandwiches. Yes, like many other reviews mentioned once you go in there--you'll be smelling like it all day long (ladies, it's worse for us bc of our hair); the ordering, paying, and pickup set up is confusing especially for new comers; it is a bit overpriced. Even with the three points mentioned above I would've given 3-4 stars. I am giving 2 stars because of the rude, condescending owner who works the register at the deli! He's unpleasant to the customers but what's worse to see is how rude he treats his employees. On two occasions I've already seen him put down his employees. I plan on reducing my visits there bc I don't want to see people be treated poorly!

I'll go ahead and echo the "WTF?" sentiment regarding the prices. We get it, it's River North, but still. I was - at first - happy to find some rare frozen lunches there, but they're sold for $7.99 as opposed to $4.99 at Mariano's. As for the deli - I don't get all the "bad service" complaints. Maybe I'm naturally grumpy myself, but I'm NOT a fan of forced smiles and faux-pleasant small talk, to me good service is just getting your order in quickly and correctly, which they do. If you want to have a conversation, go find a friend! While the sandwiches are also on the expensive side, I enjoy the paninis. I may be the worst for doing (and sharing) this - but you can pretty much ignore the menu options and custom-build your own. I always get a pesto-mushroom-goat cheese panini. It's pretty big, comes with a fresh dill spear, and I've never had a bad one. Finding a place that doesn't skimp on goat cheese is rare, and they load it on gluttonously.

Do not go here. They mark up everything and you end up paying more than double what you would somewhere else. Should be reported for whatever scam they have going on.
