"The Ballantyne Hotel is worth a visit on Christmas, not just for the high-end Gallery Restaurant, but for the rows of gingerbread houses that line the stately hotel halls for some friendly gingerbread-house-making competition. On Christmas day, Gallery will offer a $99-per-person, five-course dinner. Highlights include a prawn cocktail, venison tartare, and a rich coriander-spiced duck breast. Whiskey drinks here are stand-outs." - Kayleigh Ruller

I don’t usually write reviews, but I had to share how wonderful our experience was thanks to our waitress Gerry Mincheva at Gallery Restaurant (and yes I wrote her full name down because she deserves recognition!). From the moment we sat down, she greeted us with the kindest smile and the warmest energy — it instantly made us feel at home! You could tell she genuinely cared about creating a great experience for us — and she succeeded!!! Restaurants are all about food, yes, but it’s the people who make the meal memorable. Gerry, you’re a star and you made my birthday so special tonight! Thank you for the amazing dessert, that was so thoughtful of you! My husband and I will be coming back, and asking for you again! :)

Came here for my birthday dinner and I must say it was an amazing experience. The entire staff was very attentive, the food was 10/10! The drinks were great and the atmosphere was very classy pleasant. We were treated with respect and friendliness. The dessert!! Must try the coconut sorbet, it’s to die for. I will definitely come back again!

My wife and I had an absolutely unforgettable evening at the Gallery Restaurant. From the moment we arrived, everything just felt easy and welcoming — including parking, which was a pleasant surprise given how busy the resort was. Despite the lot being full, there were still plenty of spots available right by the entrance. Walking into the grand hall with the piano as a centerpiece immediately set the tone — upscale and elegant, yet warm and inviting. The restaurant itself is beautiful, with high-backed booths that provide a wonderful sense of privacy while still letting you enjoy the atmosphere. We were greeted and seated right away, and our server Gerry arrived almost instantly. She introduced herself, thanked us for coming, and asked about our plans for the evening. We told her we weren’t in a rush — just looking to relax, enjoy great food and drinks, and meet some people along the way. She smiled and promised we’d have a lot of fun. And she was absolutely right. The evening unfolded like something out of a movie. As we settled in with appetizers and drinks, Gerry introduced us to Sal from Italy — a server who’s been with the team for over a decade. We casually mentioned that I had proposed to my wife at this very table ten years ago, and that sparked a really special conversation. Shortly after, Robert, the restaurant manager and sommelier, came by to introduce himself and warmly welcome us. Then came the food. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. Juan, the F&B manager, came out personally to greet us — which gave us the chance to thank him directly. We had chosen the lamb for our main course, but my wife had mentioned earlier that the only time she’d ever had truly perfect scallops was years ago. Not long after, a surprise plate arrived — a special scallop appetizer, sent by the Chef de Cuisine, Bryan Peterson, just for her to try. It was a complete surprise and absolutely incredible. The fact that Gerry had quietly passed along what my wife said, and that the chef took the time to create something just for her, really blew us away. A few minutes later, Bryan himself came out to our table, told us about the dish, and chatted with us. My wife told him — sincerely — that he’s a rising star, and she wouldn’t be surprised if one day he’s running a Michelin-starred restaurant. Throughout the evening, Gerry kept us smiling with thoughtful wine pairings and wonderful conversation. Sal returned later to share a few laughs with us, and by the end of the night, it genuinely felt like we’d spent the evening among friends. At one point, I glanced at the clock and couldn’t believe it — we had arrived at 6:30 PM, and it was already 9:30. Three hours had flown by. We dine at top restaurants often, and while many of them are excellent, I rarely leave reviews. But this experience was different. It wasn’t just a great meal — it was a truly special night. Gerry and the entire team turned what started as “just dinner” into something we’ll remember for a long time. Thank you, Gerry, Sal, Robert, Bryan, and Juan — you truly made our night. We’ll be back.

I stopped in for what was supposed to be a quick girls lunch with my mom but the atmosphere was so comfortable and relaxing we were there for hours! I had the kale salad, the waygu burger + fries, and washed it down with a lovely cocktail called mi amour. The service was also top notch! Our server let us know that it was a little too early for items on the dessert menu but he offered to bring us some warm chocolate chip cookies instead. Overall, we thorougly enjoyed our afternoon. Would definitely recommend!

Google
The atmosphere of Gallery is both moody and romantic. As soon as you step in, you know you're going to have a fine dining experience. The attentiveness of the staff was noteworthy. Our waiter Merwyn was outstanding at making sure we had everything we needed, and Jesus was always nearby to make sure our water was topped off and our empty plates were removed. I unfortunately did not catch the name of the GM but he came around several times to check on us as well. You can tell he strives for all guests to have the finest experience in his restaurant. The food was so delicious! We had the crispy brussel sprouts, mac and cheese, 8oz filet, and Joyce Farms chicken. Everything was wonderful. Merwyn recommended the chocolate truffle torte for dessert, which was divine. Highly recommend this gem to anyone staying in the Charlotte area.

We met my sister there for dinner because she was there for a conference. We were immediately greeted and seated. Our server Salvatore was excellent as was Ava who served us water. We started with French onion soup which was delicious. The filet mignon was a nice cut and came with creamy mashed potatoes and black garlic mushrooms. My wife had scallops which were perfect. My sister ordered Joyce's chicken which came on a bed of small pasta balls which were very spicy. I do not recall this being mentioned on the menu. Frankly it was too hot to eat. The mac and cheese made up for it. For desert try the browned butter ice cream.

Google
Phenomenal brunch experience. I’d come dine here even if I wasn’t staying at the Ballantyne. I enjoyed the classic breakfast with eggs over easy, home fries, sausage, and deviled eggs. The staff were wonderful and incredibly friendly + accommodating. Five stars.

Google
This was a first and last for us. Ate at the bar, between 4 bartenders and 1 bar back, the service seemed overwhelmed and suffering management that required them to be on the POS machine for 10 mins at a stretch. Couldn’t catch the bartenders attention to order another drink so we kept entertained by counting the number of drinks they made by our empty glasses until they noticed. It was 5. I feel for them. Somebody is making it a miserable place to work and counting on overpriced, under-poured whiskey to make you the margin. Avoid until you see new ownership advertised.

Yelp
We were pleasantly surprised by The Gallery! In my experience, hotel restaurants (even at nice hotels) put food quality low on the priority list, but not so here. We thoroughly enjoyed every dish. Especially if you're staying here (but even if you're not), The Gallery is worth a visit! The service was professional and the ambiance was good for really any occasion. The octopus appetizer: This was a generous portion of perfectly cooked octopus with a sauce flavored to perfectly accompany the delicate octopus flavor without overpowering it. Every bit as good as octopus dishes I've had in Portugal. Salmon entree: This was amazing. I was impressed they actually asked how we wanted the salmon cooked (medium), as it's a fine line with getting fish cooked to order vs. a steak. It did come out a perfect medium, with crisp, flavorful skin that wasn't overly salty. The sweetness of the puree paired perfectly with the delicate salmon flavors. We both got the salmon, and I'm glad we did, though now I'm curious about all the other entrees. Roasted mushrooms side: This was a good side to get with the salmon. The salmon does come with the puree and quinoa, but many may not feel like it's quite enough without having an additional side to share, so I'd recommend picking a side to share. The mushroom side was fairly large, so big enough to share. Mushrooms were fresh and had good flavor.

Yelp
We've always ordered room service in the past so this year decided to come down to the bar for dinner. Our waitress Kristen was phenomenal. The chicken sandwich was cooked to perfection and brioche bun seemed oily but I think it had some type of garlic butter on it which only enhanced it. The kids meal chicken strips were huge and my kid ate all 3 which is insane for him and NEVER happens. Drinks were great, service was fantastic and the food was great. Breakfast in the morning was delicious we had the french toast special which had cranberry compote, vanilla marscapone and a streusel crumble with a side of Bacon that included 4 pieces but my son ate all of mine, his and ordered another side. I enjoyed a caramel latte but when I asked for just coffee afterwards it was $3 extra(it's free in the lobby so I didn't know it cost extra in the restaurant as it's not actually on the menu) but no worries! All in all very good experience. Prices are moderate for brunch and pretty expensive at dinner but the bar bites menu is reasonably priced

Neshamy J.

Yelp
The food was bland and they have a very limited menu. The ice cream was absolutely awful.

Gerald J.

Yelp
Great staff. Great menu. Great management. I ate here about 6x on my 3 day visit. Breakfast staff was excellent and very friendly. I relaxed and worked all day and they made sure all my needs were met the whole day. Dinner staff was great also. Menu is great and the bar menu has some hidden gems also. Food 5/5 Breakfast Staff 5/5 Dinner Staff 5/5 Service5/5 Location 5/5 Parking 5/5 Atmosphere 5/5 Return Factor 5/5

Yelp
Been coming here for brunch as they have a nice selection of contemporary breakfast. Today's service was slow, but my breakfast food was what I would have expected in terms of taste and quality. This place has easy parking at the back of Ballantyne hotel.

Mike S.

Yelp
Great dark paneled space. Food was great. Really enjoyed the French onion soup and pork belly app. Sorry martini was on point and the service was friendly and professional at the bar. Dined there while traveling for work and would definitely return for another round!

Christina Z.

Yelp
This is the only restaurant on the Ballantyne property, so you don't have much choice if you want to eat on property, this is your only option. I was hosting an event there and popped in for lunch one day and just saw at the bar. I had a simple salad with salmon and it was delicious. The staff was very friendly. The bartender was very personable, and I found the atmosphere really cozy.

Sam R.

Yelp
The service continues to be impeccable here - but we sure wish they'd bring the chai oatmeal back... the pastry basket is a real treat on the weekends and the omelettes are always cooked to perfection. My son loves that the pancakes always come out with REAL maple syrup. I wish we could have more outdoor seating during the pretty fall days - overall, we do like to frequent the gallery. It's pricy, but it's really worth it for the great service and quality food that they provide (speaking for breakfast as the primary meal here). We've not been in that often for dinner, but I don't doubt it's equally on par with the caliber you'd expect....

Stacey A.

Yelp
This restaurant is located in the Ballantyne Hotel. Upscale restaurant but you can get away with casual dress. Prices are for sure upscale. It was my birthday weekend and we stayed at the hotel so we were able to charge our food to our room. Delicious meal but I was a little disappointed by my 'on the house' bday treat. It was a slice of red velvet cake that was rather small and nothing to rave over. I appreciated it for sure but probably would have rather ordered a dessert off the menu. The decor of the restaurant is beautiful and the art work is outstanding. Intimate setting, great for a special occasion, date night. Service was great.

Sally B.

Yelp
Food SUX!!! and poorly prepared! Can't believe anyone would waste their money here (or risk getting sick to their stomachs and worse!!!)

Road T.

Yelp
This is a high end restaurant. We had gone for our anniversary lunch. Waygu burger was amazing. The service was great!

Siran T.

Yelp
Ambiance: upscale restaurant with full bar. The area was separated between more-for-dining (tables, brighter, closer to kitchen) and more-for-drink (sofas, high tables, dimmed lights, closer to bar). Not full on a weekend dinner, but recommend to make reservations if possible. The food tasted great except it was a bit too salty for a few of them. Truffle fries - which I did not take photo - worth ordering as side to share. The in-house made ice cream was impressive. Reason for not five stars: - the wait between appetizer and entree was too long. The server was keen on cleaning up the table so there was like 20 minutes empty table from when server collected all appetizer plates to we got entrees. - entree price a bit too high given the portion.

Nitika G.

Yelp
The truffle fries are amazing, highly recommend. Stay away from the pumpkin - burratta, it was not the best blend of flavors. Any drink you get will be great! I got the spritz and loved it! The service is fine, food isn't the fastest to be served but they are also very busy so understandable. Would recommend drinks here and selective food.

Tungalag K.

Yelp
We were there 7/5/24. Horrible experience and service ever had in my life! Next time will go Waffle House to celebrate our special day! If i have options i will give 0 stars.

Tricia B.

Yelp
This is a really good restaurant for being in a hotel. They are known for their old fashioned and even have two whiskeys (makers mark and woodford) they are specially made for them. The lamb loin I had for dinner was delicious. And if I would have only gone for dinner this would have been a five star review. Unfortunately, when I went for lunch, the shrimp and grits were just ok.

Chrissy B.

Yelp
Went to brunch this morning with my parents and husband. The hostess was kind enough to clean a booth for us and it was extremely comfortable. I am 9 months pregnant so being comfortable to enjoy a meal is everything to me right now. I had a glass of tomato juice with a lime, it was very good. My husband had a cocktail endless summer and he loved it. My parents had a Bloody Mary and a classic mimosa all was enjoyed. Water service was really good. Moving on I ordered the build your own omelette and you got to choose 4 items. It was very good and I enjoyed it. Potatoes were good. My mom loved her classic eggs Benedict and said her eggs were perfectly poached. My dad enjoyed his build your own omelette as well. My husband said his chicken for his chicken and waffles was great but the waffles were just okay at best and I agreed. Kinda upset that I ordered the petite waffle side was not worth the calories for me even though they looked beautiful. Overall good service and it was packed in there. Nice place for brunch and for such a grand hotel we felt the price was fair. We would come back again.

Junwen H.

Yelp
1. Server splashed a lot of water onto the table when pouring water for us; 2. We ordered 4 dishes, which included the salmon. The server checked with us what we ordered by repeating the names of all 4, but later told us that he didn't hear us ordering the salmon so it needed extra time. 3. Instead of setting up the plates and utensils for us, the server handed them directly to us (there were just 3 of us and the table was really not that long that he couldn't reach). BTW he also asked us to hand our cups to him when filling in the water when the cups were totally reachable. 4. Waited for salmon for about 30 minutes after they realize that they didn't place the order. 5. While we were waiting, one guy came and started to collect our plates without saying anything, when he eyed me (again without saying anything) to hand over my plate, I asked him "are you changing our plates for the salmon", it was at that time when he realized that we are not done yet, I was really pissed off at that time. 6. Waited for more than 15 minutes for our water. 7. Food was just OK and the menu option was very limited.

Jenny D.

Yelp
This restaurant offers a buffet experience reminiscent of 90s classic American fare. While the options were limited, the quality stood out in certain dishes. Among the few proteins, the cocktail shrimp stole the show, along with remarkably delicious mashed potatoes. However, the imbalance between desserts and main courses was noticeable; the dessert spread was vast but overshadowed the protein choices. I also had to limit myself in the vegetable and greens area as I am lactose intolerant and there was not much without dairy. Though enjoyable, the surplus of desserts left me longing for a more balanced variety. Overall, a decent buffet with standout items, but a bit heavy on sweets and light on diverse entrées.

Louise G.

Yelp
Very Elegant and Classy Restaurant. Kenneth was our waiter. Amazing customer service. Kenneth was constantly checking on us. We didn't have to ask for refills or anything more!!! Went first thing in the mort and he was ver punctual and the greatest attitude for it being 7am. Food was delectable. French Toast was so filling. Food was made to perfection. Paprika Potatoes were on point. Just enough seasoning!

Terry T.

Yelp
I generally try to venture out from the hotel restaurants, but this was a great place for breakfast as we we getting ready to leave. The hotel staff is friendly and this will be an even better place to stay after construction is complete. The restaurant has plenty of art by local artists (many of the pieces are for sale if you are interested).

Julie P.

Yelp
We came for brunch two days in a row. We liked the food so much the first day that we came back the second day. The atmosphere was great and elegant. Everything was very clean and they took every precaution with Covid. Let's talk about the first day first. Our server was great. She was very helpful and very nice. We received our food very quickly. The shrimp and grits were delicious. The two eggs special was decent. We also ordered drinks, one was a bloody mary, one was a mimosa and the last one was a screwdriver. None of these were very impressive. But it was nice to watch the golfers and it was just a good brunch. The second day is where we were disappointed. We sat in the same booth but had a different server. He was good as well but they were a little busier on the second day and we ended up waiting 50 minutes for our food to be served. I got the burger, which was fantastic. My boyfriend got the omelette and he was disappointed. I think we've had our feel of this place and probably won't be back. Also, it is a little pricey for brunch but that's to be expected at a hotel restaurant.

Inna L.

Yelp
Top notch atmosphere. Each plate is delicious and plated uniquely and beautifully. Perfect for a romantic dinner.

Meagan J.

Yelp
Such a fantastic experience! Top tier service, top tier food, top tier restaurant. I loved it. No complaints! If you haven't been go now! Make your reservations as it does get packed but it's so intimate and perfect. I ordered the chorizo omelet and my boyfriend ordered the chicken and waffles. He said it was the best chicken he's ever had. I loved it!

Tracy M.

Yelp
Located inside the Ballantyne Hotel, my expectations for this restaurant (were not) met in terms of cleanliness and service. A Friday afternoon 1:00 lunch with girlfriends was a little disappointing. I was seated with a food menu, but not spoken to for the first 15 minutes. I was not given a drink menu. After asking for the drink menu, it was another 15 min when the drink showed up at our table. I think the busboy actually took our order at some point. After we asked for a manager, she came over but there was no legitimate reason for the lack of service. It was not crowded at all and some of the staff wasn't even familiar with their table numbering. I'm my opinion, the restaurant just didn't seem to offer what you would expect inside of The Ballantyne Hotel.

Jared C.

Yelp
Food is below average for this caliber of restaurant. Wife and I had filet and it wasn't seasoned at all and the reduction was bland. Brussels sprouts were undercooked. Fries were the best thing. Daughter and the kids burger and liked it. Caesar salad was okay but cheese pieces were too large. Cocktails and wine were decent and the best thing of the whole meal. Service was good and prompt. We had a resort credit and next time we stay we'll use it at the spa and eat elsewhere. We've had better meals at chain restaurants like Texas Roadhouse

Sonya L.

Yelp
Amazing!!! Loved every bite! We do not typically visit high-end restaurants; however, tonight was a special occasion our 13th anniversary! This restaurant went all out to celebrate us! We enjoyed so many different dishes and our mouths exploded with different flavors. I have to say this is my NEW favorite restaurant in Charlotte! Thanks Ballantine Hotel, Salvatore, and all the restaurant staff for an amazing evening!!!! We will be back!

Marie D.

Yelp
Expensive but consistently good, I've had the salmon, the crab cake salad, spicy shrimp Lahvosh. Chicken enchiladas, corn bread and the Santa Fe bowl. Everything is wonderful. Some days the service is better than others, but for the most part very nice upscale & consistent food quality.

Carol R.

Yelp
Wow. Just wow. Attended an outstanding beer dinner with Gallery and Legion Brewing yesterday. Not only was each dish delicious, but the attention to detail and variety of textures was a dream come true. Words can't do it justice, so check out the pics. Thank you Gallery Restaurant, especially Scott and Juan for hosting us, Sam for taking good care of us, and Chef Aaron for the delectable bites. Shout out to Scott from Legion for brewing up the beers that inspired the whole thing.

Liz M.

Yelp
The food and service were excellent. The hotel was beautiful. Would definitely recommend.

Tori H.

Yelp
This review is for afternoon tea. Absolutely wonderful service! The host and server were very kind to us. They seated us immediately upon arrival and our table was BEAUTIFUL! We had the white tea and the chamomile tea. Both were delicious. The food is where a star was lost. For tea time I would expect more than 1 scone each. It was mostly heavier desserts like cupcakes, cookies, and chocolate ganache. Although I do like all sweets I felt like they were just ok. The scone was AMAZING and I wished we had more... because why give a decent portion of lemon curd, Devonshire cream, and jam if you each have a lil scone? For $49 each plus auto added service charge I would expect more. Again, it was all very lovely and an excellent place to take someone for a special occasion!! It is a very nice experience.

TruthvFaux Y.

Yelp
For brunch, do not order omelette. The eggs used were from the box (carton). Such a beautiful hotel, but the inside -- the kitchen ingredients used by the chef are thrown out produce... They are food misfits from the food chain, perhaps a penny. Greed is the name of the game.

Jeff J.

Yelp
The food was excellent! The service was ok but at this price point I expected it to be better. The dining area has good ambiance and is tastefully decorated. The overall experience was good but when factoring in the price point I expected it to be excellent.

Annmarie N.

Yelp
What a boring restaurant. Food was tasteless. Little spice or salt. Had the roasted cauliflower -- which was white and came on white rice. So boring. Wine meh. Dessert meh. Price high. Don't do it.

Tyler J. R.

Yelp
I decided to come here after church last Sunday. They were close since I was in the Ballantyne area. I did not expect to have the best chicken and waffles in my life here! The service was awesome I had a really eccentric server that made my experience really fun. And I remember him loving my Amazon straw bag that I had left on the table. But the service was great and I will definitely come back after church again sometime. I had the chicken and waffles and the deviled eggs and I don't remember the cocktail I ordered. But 10 out of 10 recommend this establishment.

Shannon D.

Yelp
Great restaurant with a fun selection of items to choose from! A must try! Parking is also convenient and it's easily accessible!

William A.

Yelp
We ate breakfast twice at the gallery while staying at the Ballantyne. The eggs Benedict and shrimp grits were both delicious. The prices were a bit high but the quality and atmosphere was worth it.

Bianca H.

Yelp
Brunch was incredible. Our server, Sandra, was so attentive and knowledgeable. We had the crab cakes, meat and cheese board, chorizo hash, and omelette. They were all delicious. I loved that they had a good selection of cocktails, too. I definitely plan to return.

Mariam F.

Yelp
Delicious! Ambience and food were everything! This will be my go to place in the future.

Mary M.

Yelp
Excellent food, I wish it were all organic though with free range organic eggs and pasture fed and raised meats. I'm at the point where as good as food may be prepared if it's not sourced right and truly healthy I'd rather cook it at home. To me the decor is outdated.

Peggy E.

Yelp
A friend took me to The Gallery Restaurant to celebrate my birthday. We were there three hours over the lunch hour, and it was delightful. The food was delicious, the restaurant was comfortable and located in the middle of the beautiful Ballantyne Hotel, and the service was top notch. Kenneth was our server, and he was prompt, personable and patient. We were so impressed with him that before we left, we asked to see the manager. She stopped by the table and was pleasantly surprised that we took the opportunity to praise a worker. My friend ordered shrimp and grits and said they were some of the best she had ever had. Y chicken sandwich was delicious and not the typical. I subbed onion rings for the fries and the generous serving was well seasoned and fried to perfection. We were then provided a lovely dessert to help celebrate my birthday. It was a perfect ending to a lovely lunch.

Tripp S.

Yelp
Lived in Charlotte my entire life and have always been wanting to dine at Gallery restaurant. I usually sit at the bar wherever I go and I'm so glad that I made that choice this evening! I was pleasantly greeted by Olivia and her hospitality through my entire experience was unmatched! She made perfect recommendations and her level of professionalism throughout the visit took my experience to the next level! To top it off she made me a custom dessert cocktail- her take on an espresso martini using fernet branca. I've been missing out on this my entire life!

Robin N.

Yelp
Had lunch today at Gallery with a girlfriend for a special celebration. We each had the most mediocre Caesar salad, an odd "undone" shrimp cocktail, and split fries. It was $125 before tip. Worst lunch, never again.

Vince M.

Yelp
We decided to give this exclusive hotel's restaurant another shot for breakfast this year after perusing the annual gingerbread house competition outside its entrance. Since it is somewhat of a splurge, I am pleased to say that we had a delightful experience this time around. We were greeted warmly and immediately seated in their roomy and comfortable dining room. Our young waitress was friendly and attentive, as were everyone that served us. I went with the standard breakfast combo. For $12, it included two eggs, four pieces of perfectly prepared applewood bacon that was absolutely delicious, pan fried red fingerling potatoes and toast. My wife also really enjoyed her avocado toast which was beautifully plated. It ran $17. One very special extra was their housemade raspberry and orange jams, along with real butter. Our regular coffees were better than average and were faithfully refilled but, at $2.75, I must sound the beverage gouging alarm. Niceties such as raw sugar and fresh creme were generously supplied however. Unlike many places, coffee was more that an afterthought. The manager made regular rounds hobnobbing with guests, and checked on us twice. I'd say that the place is certainly well-managed, although the sanitation score was a surprisingly low 93 on this visit. Lunch and dinner are also served. It has been a while but we have enjoyed dinner on a prior visit. Overall, we were very happy with most everything. I am pleased to upgrade my prior three star rating to four. We expect to return.

Colette L.

Yelp
WOW. It's not often I write a review as soon as I get home but Gallery Restaurant really blew my tastebuds away tonight. I came here with a friend for the Queen's Feast Restaurant Week. The restaurant is located inside the Ballantyne Resort and has plenty of parking. We were greeted by a friendly host and was quickly seated. The restaurant has an upscale vibe and is filled with interesting and fun artwork. They even have some quirky wordplay on the menu to contribute to the Gallery theme. We both ordered the same main dish (Lamb Bolognese) and dessert (Chamomile Plum Bar) but different appetizers (Baked Oysters and Wagyu Beef Tartare) and shared. Everything was spectacular! The portions were huge and to be honest, I was stuff by the time the main course came. The experience also included surprise treats and bread that was not on the menu. The plating of the dishes was absolutely beautiful and looked meticulously curated. One of my favorite splurges is chasing Michelin Star restaurants with tasting menus and Gallery's plating resonated similar vibes. The only thing I would have enjoyed even more is if the Bolognese pasta was a little firmer but that's just a personal preference. As for the service, it was top-notch! Our server was attentive and very polite. I don't recall his name but I do remember he was from Ghana. This was not my first time to Gallery Restaurant. I've been here a couple years ago and left very disappointed and haven't been back. My friend chose Gallery this year for Restaurant Week and I'm so glad she did so I could give it another try. I've participated in restaurant week every year, trying multiple places within the ten days and I think Gallery Restaurant is now #1 on my list!

Kaila P.

Yelp
Dinner was incredible! French onion soup was light and had amazing flavor, the foie gras was so good like butter! Best lamb chops in the city. Definitely a restaurant you want to splurge on :)

Dee'Andre R.

Yelp
We came here with another couple for brunch on Sunday. We liked it! Great ambiance. Great service and great food! The waffle was " Leggo my eggo"hard, but everything else was awesome! We'd come back!

Owen M.

Yelp
I couldn't believe how poor the quality of food was here. It was a touch better than United Airlines. The staff was very friendly and mostly attentive. Would never go back.

Tina K.

Yelp
Never have I had a bad meal here. Food, service and staff are always on point! Steak is always cooked perfectly! Even had gluten free toast. Love it here

Ray G.

Yelp
Great food and excellent customer service. Very attentive to all their guests. If you want more options than what is shown on the 1st menu they bring you, ask for the "bar menu". Highly recommend their fried calamari to start as an appetizer. Their Baucom's Grass Fed Burger is delicious and very filling too.
