We had a wonderful experience. Staff were welcoming and knowledgeable. Menu and flavors were incredibly well-crafted. Atmosphere, outside by the river, was lovely. We never felt rushed. We were pleasantly surprised that food for 2 people plus 3 glasses of wine came to €75. We would be very happy to go back again and again to Galopin.

Big recommendations for this great bistro: the plates were beautiful and tasteful (mainly vegetarian options) the chocolate desert and the cheeses were highlights. The wines were even better than the food, interesting and tasteful naturals from the region as well as rest of France. Topped up with kind, easy going and knowledgeable service and atmosphere this is a top notch place to go a nice evening in Annecy. Will go again anytime and recommend to anyone going to Annecy.

A fantastic find for anyone who likes a short and delicious menu accompanied by high quality ingredients, good wine and friendly service. A really different and welcome change from the usual Annecy fare. I recommend you book, so you don’t miss out.

After having some wine and snacks on the steps along the river, we walked up to this spot, curious about the array of tables in the open courtyard. The prices are reasonable, they easily vegan -ized the very fresh dishes for us, and learning about the local wine was fantastic. Our server was from Mexico and we also talked coffee, bikes, and travel, to our delight. It’s the kind of experience you hope to have when traveling: unforced, simple yet meaningful, tasty, fun, and easy on the wallet.

This was our favorite meal during our trip to Annecy from New York. Fresh, seasonal, and creative dishes that we will remember as well as a fun list of local beers which we enjoyed. The service was friendly and kind :) couldn’t recommend more!!
