"Galveston Bagel Company started as a little stand at the popular weekend farmers market, and quickly expanded into a full-fledged breakfast and lunch restaurant just south of Broadway near downtown. While you can get a number of bagels with cream cheese—like snickerdoodle or jalapeño cheddar—most folks are showing up for bagel breakfast sandwiches loaded with bacon and eggs, or a bunch of different sandwiches for lunch. Whether you need the best cup of coffee you’ve ever had (yes better than the Green Goddess down the road) a GIGANTIC breakfast burrito that you can eat all day or share with a loved one, the best bagel and cream cheese you’ve ever had (may I recommend the garlic and onion bagel?) or one of their delicious sandwiches or other bagel offerings (their steak pizza bagel makes me wanna slap my own mama) you will not regret stopping in and giving this place a try. All of their employees are happy to assist you, always smiling, and seem to very much enjoy their jobs. The owner is always running around and doing something to make sure things are running smoothly. We’ve been eating here for over a year and the food is always consistent, perfect, and served with a smile. Stop by and tell them I said hello! 🥰

Stella took our order and was very kind and friendly when we ordered our bagels my partner and I ordered were the Lox bagel and the avocado toast. Ashley also was very helpful to deciding which coffee would be better coffee. I ordered the toffee caramel marshmallow and my partner got the brown sugar with caramel foam.

I think a warm bagel with delicious fillings, and a rich coffee has to be one of the best ways to start off a beautiful morning! I had a veggie, egg and cheese on an everything bagel, a Reese's pieces cookie, and a flat white. The bagel had the most amazing texture, the egg was cooked perfectly and the fillings were amazing! The cookie had so much more Reese's deliciousness than I was expecting, and it blew me away! And the flat white was classic and fantastic!

We were visiting town for the weekend and stopped into this shop for breakfast because they were indicated as dog friendly. 10/10 spot. The food was wonderful, the service was excellent, and the patio was very dog friendly. We got the burrito and it was the largest breakfast burrito I’ve seen. Amazing. One of the staff brought out a piece of bacon out for our dog. Highly recommend, especially if you’re traveling with a dog.

My wife got the big fish bagel and the portions on it were well worth the money. The staff all seemed like friends and family having a good time and providing great efficient service with smiles. I had the turkey jack and would say it's a solid sandwich.

We have found our new lunch spot - and are obsessed!! First of all, maybe most importantly, customer service. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Secondly, the prices are fair for what you get. And lastly, what you get is the best bagel spot around! The everything bagel is amazing, and we love the Asiago, onion and garlic, jalapeño cheddar bagel, and more! The bacon egg and cheese sandwich is my wife’s go-to, while I get the club sandwich. As you can see in the photo, it’s packed with fresh meats.. and I mean packed! And fresh! There’s not a single negative about this place! You must make it a point to stop at Galveston Bagel Co asap!! They also have a cute coffee shop inside which makes great coffees, and an adjacent smash burger spot that we love as well!! Keep up the great work! You now have lifelong, loyal (and obsessed!) fans!!

Perfect! The bagels tasted amazing, the lox didn’t have that weird fishy taste that some prepped salmon tends to have. Perfect texture. And the avocado one- which I unfortunately forgot the name of- was SOOO delicious. We also got little canned orange juices and stopped by the cafe for some coffee. I definitely love the place and on my vacation I tried to come back a second time before we left! This bagel shop will forever be in my heart!

Does anyone see any raisins in this cinnamon raisin bagel? No. And dine includes putting the spread on yourself. Not to mention it took 23 minutes to bring out one bagel sandwich and one plain with no work done. $20 for this? What a joke? Never coming back!
