Google
The store is FULL of amazing stuff for collectors: cards, dices, chips and souvenirs but also more particular and interesting stuff! There are originals used sets from all lot of casinos. The guy was really nice, friendly and available. The prices are all good and convenient. We also found cool games tables! Definitely a great place to go both for collectors and people who just wants some cool new stuff!

Jerry Root

Google
Great place for all kinds of card game things and a huge set of poker chips!

Google
Came here because they have a lot of old-school Vegas casino items, a bunch of cards a bunch of poker chips crazy amount of dice and other things you’d find a gift shops. If you want to purchase something unique, that is Vegas original, I would come here… I purchased plane cards that are used at the Harrah along with dice that are used there as well. The sell the exact cards you would play with in a sanction poker tournament too

Ramsey Oklah

Google
I stopped in here every year to get some custom chips made for my clients and see what else catches my eye. The staff are fantastic and friendly and their merchandise is high quality

Taylor Funkhouser

Google
A great place to stop! The staff is so friendly and it's a perfect place to grab a special deck of cards for your friends. Also check out the brothel tokens. Those are really cool

Google
Pretty cool store filled with lots of things that most people don’t need but still fun to walk-through. Only downside and this is not the stores fault is that area is deteriorating very quickly. Our friends had their rental car stolen from the parking lot. Go during the day would be my best advice.

Google
This is a true hidden gem. Excellent and real Las Vegas memorial for actually a bargain. Great and friendly store owner as well. This is THE PLACE I'd recommend without any reservations. Thank you so much - thanks to your store we got the gifts for us & our family we've been so much looking for.

Julian

Google
Amazing experience overall. The storekeepers are incredibly kind, honest, and helpful, and the store itself has pretty much everything related to cards and casinos, with reasonable prices.

Yelp
What a cool place! The man and woman who work there were super helpful, I was looking for an ashtray from The Landmark hotel and they had one but just a plain clear one and I wanted a Blue one and the guy goes in the back and says, here is a Blue one! Nice. They made that extra effort and I was so happy. I also bought poker chips for an upcoming party I am throwing, dice because well, I am the dice man and some Bingo stuff for another party I will be throwing. Got some Bingo Daubers and some casers. They had raffle tickets, a wheel, Games, machines and so much more. It was clean inside and well organized. Excellent prices. I was very impressed all around.

Yelp
Came here to purchase casino cards as giveaways on a cruise. I figured they're the perfect gift/souvenir that people from all over the world would appreciate. I came here right at opening since I didn't know what the parking situation would be like, but tbh eh actually have their own parking lot that's gated! They also have street parking available too. I was greeted and offered help as soon as I stepped in. Not only did I find casino cards, but there's a ton of history here! It's a great experience. My casino cards cost $2.99, which to me was great value. Also at check out, there's a ton of other decks of cards under the glass display. Definitely would come here again!

Ann C.

Yelp
Best prices on souvenirs and memorabilia. Staff is amazing and super helpful. Highly recommend!

Yelp
They have everything for gamblers. I got some cards, dice and poker chips. The lady there was very knowledgeable and helped us pick some vintage chips for gifts.

Yelp
The owner is a good guy, really helpful, and supportive. Store selection is variety, tons of poker chips, drinking games, and souvenirs. Prices here is a little bit high but the quality is undeniably decent. A good place to get your gift.

Yelp
They did an amazing job on my poker chips with color and design. recommend and will reorder

Yelp
A longtime Vegas resident and supplier of gaming supplies the selections of chips, cards, and gambling supples is one of the largest in the city.

Yelp
This is a good place to browse if you are looking for high quality poker chips to use at home at a reasonable price. They have several options to choose from, at varying price points. They also make custom poker chips but we weren't planning to spend that much. For the standard (not customized) chips, the price ranges from $5 to about $8.75 per roll of 25 chips. Of these, we thought the Monte Carlo chips have the best look and feel (at 14g each). One thing to note - there are many online places selling Monte Carlos poker chips with the same design, but we learned the hard way that there is a premium version and then a cheaper version, but you can't really tell if you buy online. For example, the chips you buy from Amazon (from a vendor called Brybelly) weigh in at 12g and the chips are thinner. These Monte Carlo chips from Gamblers General Store are the real deal - they are thicker, and weigh in at 14g each. In addition, the ones we got from Amazon were 2 short (they advertised 50 chips but we only received 48). They staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed visiting the store and chatting with them. Buy from this store and support a local business!

William D.

Yelp
I'm overall very impressed with this little store downtown. I came by to try to fill my personal chip set and it was way cooler than I expected! They had a nice variety of chips for me to shop thru and the staff was really friendly and personable. They were extremely helpful with putting my chip set together. They even offer a service to do custom chips in house......which I thought was pretty unique. They have the widest playing card selection I've ever seen and a really nice vintage room full of neat old vintage Vegas memorabilia and books. This definitely seems like the ultimate store for the gambler's needs! Love it! Highly recommend!

Yelp
This place has been a Vegas institution for as long as I can remember, and it's recently moved to smaller digs directly across the street. I'm guessing the rent was just too high in the much larger, older space, which forced a move. The inventory is good, especially if you're looking for home gambling supplies (card shufflers, plastic poker chips, blackjack felt for tables, etc.). There's a decent selection of Vegas souvenirs too, including used decks of cards from local casinos. I'm not sure the new building is air conditioned because it was super hot when we visited. The two women working in the store were helpful and gave us great service. We were looking for an automatic card shuffler and while their selection wasn't extensive, they had several options in all different price ranges (from $20 all the way up to $3,000). The prices here are higher than you could find elsewhere, but please consider buying stuff here to help them stay in business. It just wouldn't feel like Las Vegas without the Gamblers General Store!

Yelp
Walk into the past and the present while in Vegas and take home something unique. The friendly staff assisted me with making my decisions on some true relics of Las Vegas history.

Yelp
Need some poker chips for your home game? This is the place I bought my engraved chips over 30 years ago. Nice folks!

Yelp
Our favorite store in all of las vegas. How much fun it this place? For anyone who loves to gamble or magicians who love cards, this is a really cool place to go. We recently got into craps so we came here and got a craps mat, some chips and some dice. Additionally we got a deck of cards and some craps books to bring home with us. Every single time we go, we find something new to get. The store used to be in three locations there were so many people buying. Sad that they've now relocated into one I just hope people go there as much as us. In the back room, they do sell old tables and machines. They are pricy but if you have the money and it's something you want, it's there.

Craig L.

Yelp
Three have a great selection and are very helpful. This has been a go to for gambling supplies for years

Yelp
Maybe I was just there on a bad day as the service was pretty bad. Asking a question felt like I was bothering the lady up front. And guess what? I ended up getting exactly what I didn't want. I bought 2 dozen retired casino decks after asking if they had jokers. I was told yes, but none of the 24 decks did have jokers. To make the deal even worse the decks are made up of non matching cards. The backs did match but the face of the cards have different red colors, different size numbers, etc. garbage
google avatar

Michelle T.

Yelp
Good place to buy retired dice and playing cards from the local casinos. There's other memorabilia and novelty items, including bingo stuff. I had a good experience browsing at my pace - wasn't pressured. The lady at the register was friendly and offered to help me a few times. There's a lot of road work being done there, so be prepared for a delay. Try it out; inventory changes slightly and is fun to see new items.

Yelp
Gamblers General Store has everything a gambler needs! It's a great place for tourists as well, because they sell old card decks and dice that you can buy for an affordable price and bring as a souvenir from your favorite hotel. They served breakfast here too. Tried it out, but the food was okay. Only reason I am taking off a star. Otherwise, this is a great place to buy some gambling related stuff. For those trying to learn, they have a variety of different books about almost every casino game. Many are useful and teach you different approaches and techniques on the games.

Brandon C.

Yelp
Thank you so very much to Edith, who had helped me tremendously today with her exceptional, professional, and great customer service! I was a visitor from out of town (all the way from San Diego, CA!) and had heard and read about this store that sells gambling supplies and souvenirs, and wanted to see of they had any mid-weight, special color poker chips as well as casino-quality actual-casino-played playing cards, and they did, and very competitive prices. I grabbed 4 packs of the playing cards (Palms and Cromwell Casino logos in the back) and 600 of the 8-gram poker chips in blue (all new), and then checked out. Very happy with my purchase, thank you! I recommend this store to anyone who are looking for all their gambling supplies needs!

Yelp
Great place for my business card chips. Must come in and check out the store they have everything. Windy and the staff is the best

Yelp
Came here to get an automatic card shuffler. They had 3 kinds. One for 2 decks, one for 4 decks, and one that is a manual shuffler. I opted for the 2 deck one for 15 bucks. Needs 4 C batteries that are not included. The cashier lady was not helpful at all. She told me that the shuffler needed a 9 bolt battery for it to work. I assumed that they sold all sorts of batteries because well, it is a general gambler store so batteries should be all over the place. But no, is the answer I got. later on I got a a pair of 9 volt batteries from Walmart only to find out after opening the merchandise that it requires 4 C batteries. Besides the misinformation from the cashier lady, the rest of my visit was just ok. They have pretty much everything you are looking for from souvenir casino chips, dice, cards, books, etc. They even have a little cafe over in the corner that serves breakfast and lunch using Boar's Head products. Yes, kids are allowed here but you gotta keep a watchful eye on them. Overall, I think its a decent place to purchase casino souvenirs to bring home back to your folks wherever your home town maybe. Im not a gambler, but even I had some things catch my eye here. Lastly, you get 15 percent off your order with the Yelp check in. Yelp 2016 Review #10 "You got to know when to hold......." 583 overall

Yelp
i honestly don't have a gambling problem, but i do have phases- and gambling was one phase... texas hold em was a favorite, along side craps and monopoly slot machines. All addictions which this store can feed. Cards were another phase and so i used to collect cards- many which i have acquired from this store. They have a gazillion cool brands of playing cards. from trick decks, to brands like; Bicycle (poker peek, rider back, masters) bee, aviator, mohawk, bulldog squeezers, hoyle, tallyho, streamline, and also misc used casino cards. They have tons of poker chips (pink ones too), and many other things to amuse yourself into thinking you're the next world poker champ!!! be sure to get a capistrami sandwich from Capriottis on your drive back home.

Yelp
I ran into the Gamblers general Store on my way out of town. For some quick gifts. http://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=gvLS_1eQX1aTq7YAMT_wkw&userid=EMMzx-gGDKsU4enmbae6dw http://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=J86VUdLrSopV4khfi0ml8Q&userid=EMMzx-gGDKsU4enmbae6dw It had been a few years since my last time. What a difference a few years make. The last time I was here there were twice the amount of gaming tables and slot machines. The tough economy has reared her ugly head in the independent stores that cater to luxury nonessential items like gambling toys and supplies. But its still worth a visit because. They carry lots of cool stuff! Vintage slots .... these old nickel machines are the coolest. http://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=TEQvi5NRFfBI4zPqEq_ACQ&userid=EMMzx-gGDKsU4enmbae6dw http://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=VhSSwetHDaPHQ1NQNT1NuA&userid=EMMzx-gGDKsU4enmbae6dw Chips ... from mild to wild, old school clay chips, regulation stuff, custom made singles and sets, and cases too. http://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=mqfbg2vgKjXwgOzqRBelMQ&userid=EMMzx-gGDKsU4enmbae6dw http://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=JFXpfI8g_ziMufARujvLuw&userid=EMMzx-gGDKsU4enmbae6dw Cards ... a zillion of them, even cheater decks and WSOP stuff. http://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=Z8AUptIOyJ3WmOq2fZJomA&userid=EMMzx-gGDKsU4enmbae6dw Books .... They have more gambling, poker, and Vegas related books for sale than any twenty libraries combined. A huge wall full of them. Dice ... by the thousands from all the different casinos, personalized and loaded ones too. Tables ... They still have a lot of card tables, roulette tables and table supplies that can still be found here at a bargain price. A fun place to find Vegas souvenirs. The staff here is very friendly and helpful. Still its a tourist spot for old school gamers like me, but fun all the same.
google avatar

Ryan P.

Yelp
The best spot for Vegas souvenir. I've bought my Marine Corps pokes chips from here, my poker hoody and my Donald Duck card marker!!! This place has a lot of stuff for pokers and gamblers, they even have hand made poker tables from Italy!!! If they don't have it they can order it for you right away, i.e. the poker hoody for my table, and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

Yelp
This is the first time I ever been in a store like this one. But they have very kind staff. We walked in 5 minutes before closing time and stayed about an hour not knowing they were closed. Now we did not buy one item. But they never told us to leave or get out. I poked and looked until my heart was more than pleased. And I looked around and was like where is everyone? The people inside still never told us they was closed. Talk about professional. They have everything you need to make a poker den. I am the pretty little card player in my family lol my husband he loves baseball and football. I on the other hand thinks I will play in the WSOP one day. Ok back to the review. So even tho they were closed they took time gave me business cards. Answered all my questions. And made me feel unique. (I will be back ASAP) When I am treated like that you have a fan and customer in me for life. Over all my time inside the store was pure fun I seen cards, shirts, poker chips, pictures oh wow so many items that you can have custom made. Oh I almost forgot they have real casino poker tables and slot machines. I will be back. But when I return I will be more attentive of the time. Stop in today you will be glad that you did.
google avatar

Donna P.

Yelp
This was a cool store to get the items I was looking for. They have different kinds of mini slot machines that I was looking to get. The owner of the store was really nice and she helped me with my shopping experience. They really have cool stuff here and varieties of choices to pick from. I would recommend coming here for your needs.

Sarah S.

Yelp
Despite the sign on the front door requiring masks on employees at all times as well as customers. Employees were either without masks or wearing them on their chins. Customers were maskless. You should really take the sign down. Be wary as well, checkout was long and difficult, the card was approved but a maskless employee decided to try and run it again because the printer was messing up.

Yelp
100 percent awesome people! Quality and fast for custom stuff. Thank you for the quick turnaround.
google avatar

Ryan W.

Yelp
This is a great spot to grab gifts for friends. They have everything from books to casino tokens to antique slot machines. The slots seem a bit overpriced, but this is a retail location so it should be expected. The location has parking, and the store itself is quite large. You could easily spend 30 minutes just browsing around. I definitely would NOT try to walk here from the Strip.
google avatar

John S.

Yelp
Horrifying experience. My wife and I went in to buy some poker chips. The cashier was hostile/angry from the start and would not honor the 15% Yelp check in deal. He said, "Seriously?" in an incredulous, disgusted tone. Then, he walked away from the cash register and said, "Nope, not gonna do it. Just not gonna do it." He refused to ring us up and another female cashier came over to complete the sales transaction while he shamed us and berated us verbally for using the 15% off Yelp check-n deal. He was serious, too. This was not some kind of joke. He was clearly not in a good mood from the moment we walked in. If you read other reviews, this appears to be the case often. My question to the business owner: Why would you offer any type of promotion only to make your customers feel bad for using it and denigrate them in the process? In that case, please don't offer any promotion at all. We are in the market for three poker tables as we host monthly poker parties. However, we are taking our business over to Spinetti's directly behind this store. Their prices are more reasonable, the cashiers are not hostile. Unfortunately, Spinetti's isn't open on Sundays and we needed some extra poker chips today so that's the only reason we decided to give Gamblers General Store a try and we're really sorry we did. Never again. :(
google avatar

Michael S.

Yelp
Gamblers General Store is somewhere I've been visiting for many many years! It's sad to see them slowly decline over the years, but like many things in Vegas, things change over time! Once the go-to place to buy retired dice and used decks of cards that were actually in play in every casino in town. They at times will have used blackjack tables or roulette wheels from casinos around town, but a lot of that seems to have gone by the wayside as well. If for nothing but nostalgia itself, I give them four stars due to many great memories over the years!

Wing C.

Yelp
Great place to get all your gambling supplies here. From deck of cards to poker chips.
google avatar

Jesse L.

Yelp
This place is great, well priced and friendly staffed. I own a dealer school here in Vegas and whenever I need new equipment or merchandise for my school or students I depend on Gamblers General store to help me out. Also when my students need stuff I send them here too. It's great. They have layouts, tables, cards, dice, chips and lammers for all your needs and they are very well priced.
google avatar

Gerald A.

Yelp
Visited this place with friends. Looking for souvenirs to bring home. The lady behind the counter was not helpful and downright rude. I listened to the way she talked to other customers as well. She seems to have something against you if you're not a local, which is stupid given where they are. Well excuse me if I'm not a local, maybe you shouldn't be selling souvenirs then? My friend was seriously contemplating buying a craps table top because they don't sell them back home, but the attitude of this lady turned us off and we left without buying a single thing. Their loss.
google avatar

Robert N.

Yelp
We'll EXCUUUUUSE ME! The man in charge was rude and obscene. He was swearing at someone on the phone and insulting customers as he rudely told them what he would not do for them. I will never set foot in that store again. Spinetti's across the street has friendly knowledgeable people, a cleaner environment and will go out of their way to help you rather than insult you. I'm only giving them one star because I can't leave zero stars. Don't waste your time with this place.
google avatar

Yelp
Awesome little store near Fremont street filled with old Vegas memorabilia! They have table, signs, cards, and a lot of little souvenirs!

Yelp
Adam and Jill are the BEST. They went above and beyond with the chips we ordered for our daughters wedding! The work was top rate and the perfect "Las Vegas" souvenir from the wedding! We highly recommend Gamblers General Store for any needs of an event you are planning! Thanks again! D & L Turner

Yelp
The first time I walked into this store I think was my 4-5th trip to Vegas. We've been to all the casino gift shops and they have a few casinos of their used decks, some dice, a few books and- holy MOTHER, look at everything in here! It's a large store and right away you see shelves of cards, a wall of books and off in the distance there are service counters and 1/3 of the store are vintage slot machines. I'm pretty sure if you put a change machine and allowed people to play the old machines, your income would quadruple! It was a big priority for me to come back here because I had been shop blocked and teased by having (been) driven past here 3-4 times in one week. Would it still stand the test of time of the years I haven't been able to come here? Once inside, it took me about 15 minutes to acclimatize. There's always a big wow factor walking in. There are too many sections, where to begin? Playing cards: It's cool that with some of the decks have 52 different facts/ pictures on the face side and they have a sample pack out, so people don't use their grubby little fingers to bust open a freshie. I admit I slacked on a few casino closings, but I managed to get Aladdin and a couple other casinos soon after they closed when I didn't get it from the source. But they do sell out. Poker chip sets: And by the way, they're really cheques, occasionally you can impress someone in the pit knowing that. You can pick the size case/ set you want, you can pick all kinds of pre made picture sets. I like the vintage ones, pin up girls, old cars. Check out the online catalog. You can even make your own set, make your own design. The GGC made poker chips for movies & tv, too: CSI, Ocean's 11, Rush hour 2, Las Vegas the (NBC) series, etc. They helped me with a design and it was a big deal to give them out to friends, etc. You can even drill a hole in them to wear on a chain. The lady even e-mailed me a sample proof of what my design looked like for my approval reply. There's a bargain bin of left over/ cancelled sets or imperfections. I managed to cobble together a decent regulation weight practice set that I used with a craps dealer work book. They also have videos. I got my first job dealing craps using these invaluable tools, as well as a practice mat with a craps layout on it. It's a whole thing to do "chip math" payouts without looking. Sometimes when I hear numbers in a store, I think how I'd stack it in my mind. People always want to know how to play better craps or blackjack. Learn to deal them! Really, if you stared at people making stupid decisions 30 hours a week, you'll definitely know the best ways to (not) bet! When you get dealing down, for some reason you just subconsciously learn blackjack tables on when to hit/ stand/ double. They have dealer's supplies, like dealer mats, but buttons also, croupier sticks, etc. They have regulation dice, the new ones in groups of 5 wrapped in foil. They have every color! On the back walls, it's just tons of books, categorized by game/ topic. This is the real reason I went into the store. I think I have over 40 books from this place, even after I discovered Amazon. Really, who wants highlighter distracting my gambling statistics? I got inspiration because I'm a writer and look at all these people that got published just writing about gambling. There are books on Keno. KENO, that game you play nilly willy while you have the buffet. (Horrible payout schedule, read about it.) I love the right section of the bookshelves. The categories get into magic books, biographies, and just some random books that don't really fit into any other category. They have a bingo section where you can get daubers and other supplies. They have coin counting/ sorting apparatus. They even have some of the tourist things you can get on the strip. The first time I went into the store, I literally spent 5 hours there. This last time, I knocked it down to a conservative 2 1/2. I get 2 catalogs because I usually scribble my wants all over 1 of them.
google avatar

Robba M.

Yelp
Great place to pick up reasonably priced souvenirs & gifts. They also have a great book section, with a range of gambling and Vegas related topics. Lot's fun to browse and the staff are super friendly. If you have a car or headed to Fremont St. this place is definitely worth checking out.
google avatar

Albi G.

Yelp
Tuck away from strip. Bought so many gifts to give away to family. Unbelievable selection of cards.
google avatar

Robert M.

Yelp
I can not believe that as much as I shop here, I have not reviewed this outstanding shop hidden away on main street. Everything you can think of related to gambling and the experience of gambling can be found in the store. The only thing that keeps the general store from a five star rating is that the parking is very limited and it is not easy to enter. One of the outstanding features of the store is an amazing collection of slot machines for sale. All styles can be found, however, there are some states that it is illegal for you to own a slot machine in your home. They have the greatest collection of books for sale on every aspect of gambling. The number of books on Hold "em Poker is astounding. I buy my table chips for home use here, and they have decks of previously used decks of cards from all your favorite casinos. The staff is totally knowledgeable and very helpful. Also very friendly.... A great specialty store.
google avatar

Faye M.

Yelp
Kinda sketchy from the outside, but this store is actually cute! We stopped here to just buy water since it was sooo hot while we were there this past June and the lady ringing us up was super nice. She even gave us some "lucky" chips that weren't so lucky for us, but oh well.
google avatar

Ian S.

Yelp
Great place to spend an hour or two and drool over all the amazing toys. They have it all, dice, cards, roulette wheels, blackjack tables, art...everything gambling related is here. The prices are a little bit better than other nearby places and their showroom is bigger as well. I thoroughly enjoyed stopping in here and found some great gifts. They sell decks of cards that were used in the WSOP, how cool is that?
google avatar

Shannon N.

Yelp
If you need gambling stuff, they've got it. The staff wasn't too friendly though, and we found poker chips cheaper at Spinetti's across the street. Keep an eye out for their coupon in all the tourist books (though for some reason it's not valid on everything).
google avatar

Rachel R.

Yelp
This is your one stop shop for anything related to gambling. They have tons of retired casino card decks (seriously, three isles of cards!), dice, chips, trays, walls of books, cheat sheets, vintage slot machines, a small collection of movie posters and vintage signs, walls of strategy books, and quite a bit more. It's a bit pricey, but worth the trip to find anything you need to set up your own poker night. I particularly loved the giant statue of a Native American man with a slot machine for a chest, selling for $5,700. This whole area is good for antique and thrift shopping, particularly furniture.

Yelp
Don't expect a fancy place but expect the right prices. Cards used at all of the casinos for $2 a deck! Dice used at casinos and a good selection of chips (commemorative or stock up you clay chip set). This place is the place to go, but don't hang in this neighborhood at night.

Yelp
I think spinnetis is MUCH better. Waaaaaay overpriced books. Furniture that is worn down and overpriced. The place was large but dinky. After seeing spinetti's you realize what a nice gamblers store can be.
