Clean bakery with a nice atmosphere. The lady and gentleman at the front desk are polite and friendly. They have a good variety of Iranian and Afghan breads, mostly fresh, along with some Persian/Afghan grocery items and foods. The only downside is that prices are a bit higher than similar stores, but overall a good place for traditional bread.

I absolutely loved my visit to Gandoum Bakery! The breads were incredibly fresh especially the Barbari and Taftoon with authentic flavors that really stood out. Every loaf had a great texture and aroma, and you could tell they use quality ingredients. The staff were warm, welcoming, and made shopping there a genuinely pleasant experience. The lady was very friendly and helpful, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. What stood out the most was the quality of the ingredients. Everything tasted fresh, authentic, and clearly made with care. They had a fantastic variety of sweets, pastries, and nuts, all displayed in a way that made it hard to choose just a few items. I was especially happy to see that they carry many traditional items perfect for Nowruz celebrations. It’s a great place to find everything you need for the holiday in one spot. If you’re looking for high-quality pastries, delicious sweets, and a warm, welcoming bakery, I highly recommend this place. I will definitely be coming back!

Gandoum, is a highly recommended afghan bakery with excellent quality breads/foods, friendly environment, helpful staff and very clean atmosphere.

We buy Sangak and Barbari bread with black and white sesame every week, and we have been doing so for the past three years. The taste is always excellent, with a wonderful aroma of herbs, the Italians or the ones who have had genuine Italian bread know what I mean. When my family came from England to visit, they couldn’t believe how much Barbari and Taftoon bread we eat—it is truly delicious. Before leaving, they ordered 10 of each to take back for their friends so they could enjoy it longer. The bread reminds us of the home made bread my grandma used to bake in her own clay oven in her kitchen. Who would have thought how many sweet memories this kind of bread could evoke? This small family bakery is always super clean, with an amazing atmosphere. The team are friendly and welcoming, and the space is spotless. I ordered a barbari bread with vegetables from Gandoum Bakery and they baked it for me and it was delicious and perfect. Excellent service and customer service, and all their breads are high quality and fresh.

Found them on the way to Ohio. My kids and friends love our barbari bread. Picked up 8 of those and two packs of taftoon. Excellent quality bread with seeded or seedless topping and whole wheat flour. Very nice man was very helpful and cordial. Definitely worth going here.
