My boyfriend took me here when we were both craving some Korean food one day in the early evening. When we arrived, parking was a bit tight (it seemed busy in the area), but we managed to get a slot outside. We entered the restaurant and were welcomed and seated immediately. The venue gives off the typical hole in the wall, cozy restaurant vibe. Staff here are so nice, and tables are well organized despite the shape of the restaurant.
We decided to order short rib, seafood pancake, and soft tofu soup. The seafood pancake was HUGE and, unlike other Korean restaurants I've been to in the U.S., not as oily. This reminded me of the quality of seafood pancakes I've had in Korea, which was pleasing! The short rib was tasty and tender, and I loved how the texture of the meat was not too chewy but also nice and juicy. Now, I have to admit that this restaurant has the BEST soft tofu soup I've had in the South/East Bay. It was flavorful, spicy, and absolutely rich in quality!
I really enjoyed eating here and think that the quality of the food here is worth its prices! Excited to come back and have their delicious soup again!
