"Ganso Ramen, the popular but now-closed Boerum Hill ramen restaurant, has returned as a ghost kitchen operating out of Sarabeth’s in Tribeca. The restaurant is delivering to customers in Tribeca, Soho, and the Financial District to start." - Luke Fortney

"And Downtown Brooklyn’s neighborhood noodle shop Ganso Ramen shuttered at the end of May, as well. The casual restaurant from owner Harris Salat opened in 2012 and gained traction as an affordable option with both ramen and Japanese snacks." - Serena Dai

Got a small bottle of their cheaper Sake with dinner and they charged around $30 for it. $17 a bowl is not that crazy of a price for Ramen in NYC but at least offer some more affordable beverage options. Have had better Ramen experiences for half the price.

Excellent ramen, and everything in general is well done. Fast and considerate service, but you do not feel rushed. Kitchen is interesting--closed off, but surrounded by glass so you can see the staff working. Beer list is uncommon, they also have sake including unfiltered sakes. On weekends, gets very busy after 7, but still worth it because there's a lot of other good food options in the area so you can decide to bail if the wait ia too long and go someplace else.

The ramen here is absolutely delicious. My wife and I go to this place every other week because we are addicted to it. The place does get pretty busy during dinner hours but if you are fine with sitting at the bar, you usually don't have to wait too long. Service isn't the best as they do tend to get pretty busy but all the servers work as a team and are on the look-out for customers that need something or want to pay. Price is comparable for ramen places in the city. Atmosphere is pretty cool with an open kitchen so you can watch the cooks work their magic as your food is made. Only major flaw here is the bathroom. The place has a single bathroom for the entire restaurant which is located right by the server area and it seems like there is always someone waiting for it.

Never had better ramen before in my life, but I have also never had this expensive of ramen before, either. The service was good, I'll give it that for sure, even though the tables are tight and the servers have to be pretty close to you. I wasn't disappointed, but maybe it's that I'm not a super Asian food guy, I doubt I'll go back to try to enjoy it again. Any Asian foodie will like this, though.

Place has really good wings. It's a Japanese ramen spot with tapas . Nice decor, creative menu, friendly staff. Place looked clean, food was really quick to come out. Not sure if it's expensive or not; ordered 10 wings, a bowl of rice, and 2 short rib buns and the bill was $56.00. All in all the wings made it worth it.

4.22.18 - It's not a bad bowl of ramen, but it's absolutely uninspired. The broth is okay, the noodles is alright, and the other ingredients are good. It's a decent bowl of ramen, but for what you pay for you can get better in NYC. However, considering how there's no other bowl to challenge Ganso in Downtown Brooklyn, it'll stand out. ***Original Review*** Generally a solid bowl of Ramen, albeit it can be a little over seasoned sometimes. The wings are tasty, but sometimes too sweet. The Spicy Ramen is just right. Definitely go as it's consistently good and the staff is attentive and nice!

I had the traditional Miso Ramen. Really liked the noodles, they were perfect. Really good pork too. Broth was good but I was hoping for something better. Overall still giving 5* for a good tasting meal, no wait, quick and attentive service.

Great Ramen place with a very cozy atmosphere and open kitchen layout. I had their lunch special - panko crusted "black" pork shoulder with kale salad and steamed white rice - and it was excellent. Reasonably priced.
