Beautiful room, amazing location and accommodating and professional staff. Elisabeth, who works at the front desk checked us in. She is very kind and helpful. She took the time to show us (on the map) all the historical attractions are located, dining places and to experience flamenco in a cave!

Wonderful boutique hotel in a great location. We stayed on the upper level and our room was well appointed and had a huge comfy bed. The only slight niggle was that there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. The styling of the hotel is interesting and adds to its charm. Very friendly and helpful staff too. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

We had a great three night stay at the Gar Anat. The atmosphere inside is really nice and the staff was very friendly. The room wasn't overly spacious, but the bed was nice, the bathroom clean and was very little noise. The location of the hotel is excellent, close to places like Albaicín, the Alhambra and lots of bars and restaurants.

This hotel is perfect! Perfect location to walk around historical Granada, to the Alhambra and more. The room was more than spacious with quality and comfortable linens. The staff was always present when we came in and left and always willing to provide us with recommendations. If it hadn't been for the hotel staff, we may not have been able to visit the Alhambra. Their suggestion for a flamenco show was also perfect. I'm so glad we found this gem of a place!!

The lobby and the hotel architecture / history is breathtaking. The location is absolutely perfect for exploring Granada. However, I highly suggest not staying in any room facing the street - there is a nightclub next door with loud and drunk patrons standing outside to smoke, holler and vomit loudly all hours of the night. The AC did not work in my room and despite it being cold outside, my room was sweltering. If I opened the windows the sound from the club was deafening. I finally got a fan from the staff and kept it blowing with the windows open during the day to cool it down. This helped to mask the noise at night as well. I can not say what it’s like in other parts of the hotel but my room was almost unbearable. My room was also in a sad state of disrepair - paint chipped and dirty marks on the walls. Broken and dangling electrical cover for the TV. The towel holder dipped broken out of the wall with a towel placed on it. Pretty easy fixes that should be done. I also had two burned out light bulbs. Maintence is needed. Overpriced for what it was. And the sewer smell. Gosh. I know it’s an old building in an old city but the air was so thick with sewage at times it would cause me to gag. Staff is friendly and again, location is perfect however I would not recommend this hotel to others.

If I could give it 100 stars, I would!!! The hotel is wonderful!!!!And in the middle of the city, just where you want to stay!!! Our room had such beautiful touches, and balconies!!! The service was outstanding!!! Another 1,000 stars to the staff. A special mention to Julieta and Magdalena, who were incredibly responsive and kind even before I arrived. Each and every question I had was responded immediately!! (And I had many!!!) Before we arrived, we got a lot of advice on places and things to do. When we arrived we were greeted with a beautiful smile by Julieta, who is soooooo wonderful!!! So kind and caring and warm!!! She went above and beyond to make our stay memorable!!! I highly recommend the Gar-Anat Hotel Boutique when you visit Granada!!!! Thank you, girls!!! You’re the best!!! ❤️

Just beautiful. Stylishly decorated. Every little detail is taken care of. Tasty breakfast with lots of options. Front desk staff goes above and beyond to ensure you have a wonderful trip. Highly recommend.

A truly lovely boutique hotel. The building and rooms had exceptional charm. Beautifully decorated rooms and good beds without being pretentious. The receptionists were also charming and helpful, from helping with car parking to arranging entertainment and booking tickets. Breakfast excellent at a communal table. |The location in the city could not have been better for shops, sights, food and transport. La Botilleria restaurant nearby is the best.|The only issue was that the garage is tricky to navigate through underground pillars. But it was great to have parking so nearby.

Gar Anat is a funky boutique hotel walking distance to Gran Via and the Cathedral. Service: The staff at this hotel are some of the friendliest I encountered in Spain. They are very customer-service centered and the front desk receptionist took the time to explain to use how to get around Granada, circling places of interest on a map. There is always someone at the front to buzz you into the front door. Room: Each room is decorated differently and is named after Spanish authors or artists. Our room was on the first floor and had a lovely landscape painting on the wall and high ceilings. It was a spacious, clean room and we were very comfortable. Food: We ate breakfast in a hurry because we had tickets for El Alhambra. The breakfast room is downstairs and has one long table. Their breakfast buffet had a nice selection of delicious pastries (we tried some sort of lemon pound cake and a Nutella-filled croissant, yum!), breads, meats and cheeses, fruit and more. I would definitely stay here again if I'm ever back in Granada!

The Gar Anat is a great stylish little boutique hotel in Granada that is in a great central location within walking distance to all attractions. They have 24 hour receptionist on hand and they were a great help in directing us to getting our Alhambra tickets printed, finding meals, etc... The hotel is just a 5 minute walk from Plaza Nueva and about 15 minutes uphill walk to Alhambra and 30 minutes up to the Mirardor San Nicolas in the El Albayzín Arab quarters. However, it's not in the heart of the tourist area so you won't be walking outside to crowds of people. The room that we had was a bit small but we got a good deal so I can't complain so bear in mind this is a boutique hotel. We didn't do breakfast which they offer in a dining area downstairs nor were we around for the afternoon tea which they serve with some cookies and biscuit (free to guests).

Lovely little boutique hotel. Fantastic location, very good service and charming decor. Breakfast was delicious and rooms comfy. We will be back!
