Was coming back from a day trip on Folly and we decided to try out Garage 75. I got the Chicken Ranch Wrap I think it was called? It was really good but the star I’d have to say would be the chips, I don’t know what they were seasoned with, but they were absolutely delicious. If you’re getting something that comes with a side of chips, get them, you will not regret.

Google
Had a craving for burgers, and decided to give Garage a try. They were delicious, juicy & well seasoned. The coleslaw was a nice surprise with brussel sprouts and fennel dressing; really delicious. The bartenders were chill and attentive. Grabbed a shot of the back bar from our seat on the corner: red white, & blue for the 4th of July

Shawn Aldrich

Google
EJ was our waiter and we had an amazing experience. Food was amazing and not overpriced like the rest of the area. The arcade was awesome too.

Amber Connell

Google
Our kids loved it here. They spent the entire time we were there playing games. Unfortunately they spent quite a bit of money. The food was decent. They have a wide menu of pub food. We got a chicken salad sandwich, prime rib sandwich and chicken strips and fries. It was right around the corner from where we were staying. There's plenty of free parking and there was no wait on a Sunday evening.

Lori Thomson

Google
We really liked this restaurant. My girls wanted to go to an arcade, so this hit the mark. We were also there on Bingo night, so that was fun too. It was definitely family friendly, and the food was good as well.

Ike Fleetwood

Google
A cool spot for the family and kids with a full arcade. Typical bar-food type eats. Had some good lemon pepper wings. The bar area is cool by itself but the addition of an arcade makes it a great option for family and friends to congregate and play some games.

Victoria Hicks

Google
By far not the pickiest family at all. Saw great reviews wanted to try it and it was a waste of money. Place looks cool but food was mediocre at best. Not one of us finished even half the plate. And food took forever to come out with only 2 tables including us (not including the bar)

Doc Equis

Google
Clean sports bar with good food in strip mall on way towards Folly Beach. No chicken wings but the chicken strips are HUGE. Only 4 but each is the size of 2 traditional long tenders. Chicken sandwich is good. Chicken nachos and sides were quality... not just fillers.

Yelp
Garage 75 was recommended to me to take my son, we decided to check it out on his birthday as he wanted to play games. It is definitely a bar atmosphere, pretty dirty -- our shoes were sticking to the ground when we walked and the games had trash all over them. This didn't phase my 4 year old at all as he had a blast playing all the games. Food was mediocre, very fried. The beer selection was fine, not great. Service was okay -- the credit card machine gives suggested tips and 20% was the lowest option (what happened to 18%?!). All in all, we probably won't return but my son had fun during our visit.

Yelp
Always a great stop for wings! We've found them to be the best classic wing preparation in Charleston. Their ranch is so good too. The boiled peanuts are great to start with. The side of fries is overpriced but they're good fries. Service is great - friendly and attentive. It can get a bit loud with the arcade side but is a sports bar so not a big deal at all. Parking is easy on weekends in the shopping center.

Yelp
Clean sports bar on the way to Folly Beach. I came with friends for Team Trivia night. We had a blast and won 2nd place! I had the Shrimp Po Boy and Chips and my group shared the loaded nachos. I tried their Red Raspberry Italian Ice Sour Ale which had a fruity flavor like a Sour Patch Kid. Skittles was a wonderful and friendly server. Had such a great experience! Absolutely delicious!

Yelp
My favorite time to come to Garage 75 is for wing night on Thursday. If you stay long enough, you'll get the chance to participate in trivia as well. The onion rings are quite greasy and weren't a very big portion for the price, but they had good flavor. I've enjoyed all of the wing sauces I've tried and they come out nice and crispy.

Yelp
LETS START WITH THE SETTING OF THE PLACE!!! When you walk in the people here are all smiling and laughing. The aura of this place is top tier amazing!!! Next you have the friendliest of waitresses willing to help out with drink options (due to me being pregnant I wanted a mocktail) and she knew exactly what would hit the spot. Next up the FOOD: when I tell you it was so good I couldn't stop eating it. The portions are larger than expected for an average person. I could have settled for half a sandwich and chips. Overall very very pleased!!! 10/10 overall!!

Yelp
Wow, what a great experience. I live on James Island and have been hearing about how good the Garage Ribeye is for a while, but didn't try it until today. Deliciously seasoned, tender, well prepared, and comes with a salad and big baked potato. It was big enough to share with my 9 year old daughter and still have a few bites leftover. I'm so full. I did call in and place the order for pick up. Timing couldn't have been better as it came out of the kitchen as I was paying. This is gonna be a regular thing.

Yelp
I was in JI and figured I'd try something for an early dinner on this side of town. I had always heard good things about Garage 75 so we decided on that. The inside has a car aesthetic with a mechanics touch and feels like a locals hangout. I love the stoplight when you walk in letting you know whether it's a seat yourself sitch or a wait for a server time. I knew there was an arcade on the other side but I didn't realize there was seating so we sat in the bar area. The service ended up being pretty slow so being in the arcade would have definitely passed the time. We started with the Pistachio Brie Skillet. While it wasn't what I expected, it was delicious. It was like they made a queso out of brie and I'm assuming another cheese as a filler like american or cheddar. Whatever it was, it was tasty and we even got more bread so we didn't miss any. I had the G-75 steak sandwich on recommendation of our server. He said it was his favorite sandwich on the menu. It was fine but a little light on the filling. Good flavor though. And the fries were perfect for scooping up the brie skillet leftovers. I mentioned the service was slow, but we weren't in a hurry so we indulged in some arcade play before heading out. We put $20 on a card and played everything we were interested in. I wish I found the axe throwing game earlier because that was the coolest... such a fun game. I can see why Garage 75 is a popular JI spot. Above average bar food, good local vibe, and a fun arcade makes the whole experience a win. I wouldn't drive across town to go, but if I was in the neighborhood or lived nearby I could see myself becoming a regular.

Yelp
I wanted to love it because the atmosphere is inviting, but the food was only "meh." Prime rib sandwich was very dry Staff is friendly.
google avatar

Angela F.

Yelp
Fun spot to grab a bite to eat with lots of televisions to watch sports. I had the beet salad which was a large portion. It was missing that sweet and salty balance that beet salads usually have, but it was ok. The burger was thick and juicy. Almost impossible to hold and eat, but it was very tasty. The prices are great! Would like to try other things next time.
google avatar

Candace W.

Yelp
Ordered hamburgers and boneless wings and a few beers. The burgers were good. Came with fried chips which were ok. Not my personal favorite. Beers were cold. Wait staff was attentive. The place was pretty loud with music and a bingo game was finishing up. It was friendly and decent impromptu stop.
google avatar

Yelp
Wife was on the hunt for a steak and didn't feel like downtown. What a gem! Started with a cup of Chili, great drinks and fantastic service! Don't sleep on the Espresso Martini either! It's not just for the kids! A great non-pretentious place to grab a bite.
google avatar

Michael P.

Yelp
shorted the blackened chicken on the salad. Cuban sandwich was soggy nasty and cold. Brussel had way too much maple syrup . disappointed. food not good
google avatar

Randy C.

Yelp
My wife and I stopped by while in the area. This place is nice. It's like a sports bar with arcade games. It seamed clean and the staff was very friendly. We started with the fried pickles. They were okay nothing special. I had a cuban, it was very good. My wife had there burger. She loved it. The prices were not bad at all for the area. We would come back.
google avatar

Emma M.

Yelp
One of the best restaurants I've ever been to. I had a twelve piece chicken, and it had no fat or chewy pieces, it was absolutely delicious. Overall great service and amazing food, 100% recommend!
google avatar

Sarah K.

Yelp
Love this place!!! The staff kicks ass, late night food and great drinks. Not to mention the arcade is a great way to break the ice for a first date.
google avatar

August W.

Yelp
The staff is cool and the drinks are good. I love the wings. I also recently played in the arcade and really enjoyed it. The ax throwing is the best and the driving game. I love that this place is open late since everything on the island closes by 9:30. Worth stopping by and having a drink..also whatever you do DON'T order the catfish nuggets..
google avatar

Mark W.

Yelp
Stopped in on a Thursday evening around 7:30 pm. Place was packed. Enjoyed the vibe and music was good. Lots of games for the kids, 3 were down. Must use a prepaid card. Very kid friendly on the right hand side of the establishment. Bar was full but was able to get something within just a few minutes. Understand the place is loud but overall good experience

Terry F.

Yelp
Great food, attentive service, Sophie was great and chill vibes inside! Pretty awesome spot! Definitely check it out!

Katie K.

Yelp
Food was not good. Some things had been frozen too long, and you could taste it. Staff were rude and entitled. Nothing special or memorable at this place. Don't waste your money for over priced freezer meals and uppity staff.
google avatar

Chasity I.

Yelp
The ambiance looked decent coming in but the service was awful. Waitress was rude and unresponsive to several asks only had 5 adults who ordered and the kids all were playing games. In the beginning with only 4 people sr the table it took over 12 minutes to get a glass of water and the restaurant didn't even have many tables at all. Took forever to have our food order taken. When we did order food, she forgot a simple appetizer item and by the time she came back to even check on the table we were basically done with our food. I mentioned to the hostess that we were missing the Brie skillet early on and she said she would check and instead of actually checking she was just at the hostess stand chit chatting with another employee. Gratuity was automatically added at 18% and was completely undeserving. Usually don't write negative views The arcade area seems fine for the kids if you need somewhere to entertain them but don't expect to get good service or good food.
google avatar

Brittany B.

Yelp
Came for dinner on a weeknight. The drink menu does not include prices for beers. The menu is odd. I ordered a cheeseburger and my husband got hot wings. My burger was not very flavorful and the bun was stale. My husband didn't like the sauce on his wings, said it tasted weird. I found it odd that we were one of the only customers in there but there were tons of employees goofing off or sitting at the bar. Staff is not very friendly or attentive.
google avatar

Cyd D.

Yelp
Great food and service! Fun game room for the kids and the young at heart!. Great place to watch a ballgame.
google avatar

Michael C.

Yelp
Oh my god, their chicken strips and wings are to DIE for. Not only is the food good, but the staff is nice, they have plenty of sports games on, and they have plenty of arcade games to play. One of the better establishments in James Island!
google avatar

Andrew W.

Yelp
Garage 75, located on James Island, is one of Charleston's hottest spots. The atmosphere and environment are top-notch. The restaurant is basically split into two parts, with the left side having most of the seating, a full bar and live music; and the right side featuring dozens of arcade style games and additional seating. It's a great place to bring the family and let the kids play games while you wait for the food. For an appetizer, I recommend the Corn Doggy Dawgs. For an entrée, I highly recommend the 14oz Black Angus New York Strip, Baked Potato and Side Salad. The steak was cooked perfectly, seasoned just enough and juicy. I also recommend the Holy City Pluff Mud Porter Oil Can - it has a nice taste and is very refreshing! I wish we lived closer, so we could visit more often. Regardless, we will return next time we are in the area!!
google avatar

Jeremiah V.

Yelp
Food sucks, had fish sandwich bun was old and stale chips were wayyyy salty and overcooked. Games are expensive $1.50 to kick ONE ball. Save your money and avoid

Dawn C.

Yelp
Excellent, friendly staff & service. Their ribeye steak is fantastic; the family go to dinner treat. Great place to go to watch sporting events & has a split environment with half dining/lounge environment & the other half video arcade. Something for everyone.
google avatar

Lori J.

Yelp
Wings and tender were just alright. You have to buy a prepaid card to play the games rather than just cash or coins.

Jeff D.

Yelp
We ordered wings and a burger. The wings were dry, the burger was overcooked and dry as well (it did not taste good). Our server was very kind and handled the situation well. When the manager came over to speak to us she didnt seem to care, and she was very rude. We were not looking for a discount but rather just to let management know the poor quality of their food. This experience ruined the fun gaming environment for us. Will not be coming back haha

Ma S.

Yelp
Restaurant was very noisy. Food order was wrong. Sent the burger back when it was wrong and it took an excessive about of time for it to come back. It should have been put at the front of the line since our other order was already served. All people at the table should be served at the same time. We couldn't see the cheese on the burger but was told it was melted into the burger. Buns seemed poor quality. Side salad was very fresh. Granted they didn't charge us for the burger. Might return but won't go at a busy time, especially BINGO night or burger night, neither of which we knew before we went it. Based on 2 previous visits we were disappointed this time.

Yelp
I finally got a weekend off and enjoyed some family time. We were here because I checked them out on Yelp and they had good reviews and good looking food. It is also my experience. The only thing there was a complaint about was the stacked potatoes that my mother-in-law had with her salmon. I'm not big on chicken wings that are bigger than my fist. That's just me but that was my only complaint. You play games for an hour was a lot of fun. TVs everywhere. Super cool waitress. I got my game on the big screen right in front of me. Go braves. People inside seem to be bandwagon Alabama fans so they were going crazy. I simply don't believe there are that many Alabama fans in Charleston. Got to be on the bandwagon. But all food was good I will definitely be back. Super cool environment and food came fast.
google avatar

Cara H.

Yelp
This place was also a fun atmosphere. They have one side of restaurant that has games you can play and on the other side just tables and the bar with TVs. We had just arrived in Charleston and needed something close to eat and we found this place. My husband ordered wings which were good even though they gave him the wrong flavor for his wings. I ordered a Philly and it was also good and really cheesy which I like. Service could have been a little better but overall a good experience.
google avatar

Yelp
An interesting bar style restaurant in a roadside shopping center on Folly Road (on the right as you go out to the beach). We went there to hear a friend's two piece folk group (really good) and sat toward the back as there was a bit of a crowd, but plenty of parking spaces available. The menu (see my photo) is for flatbread sort of pizza choices. I had the "Steak Flat" which was quite good with tender meat that had been tastefully marinated. A bit of vinaigrette over the meat and the mozzarella topped it off nicely. We also happened to be there when they had $1 off of white wine, which was the "house wine" but good and not bitter or off-tasting at all. Yes, I will be back.
google avatar

Jeff C.

Yelp
Went to watch my favorite team play on a Saturday night while we were in town. Place was pretty busy but we were able to get a booth quickly. Our waiter, Zack, (who wears many hats!) was awesome! Took great care of us and made us want to come back really soon. Too bad we're not locals, would frequent the Garage. I'm the chili head but my wife was the one devouring the mango habanero boneless wings, couldn't get enough! We'll definitely be back. Only complaint I had is their outside sign on the building was not lit, almost missed it as we were looking for it.
google avatar

Kelly G.

Yelp
Enjoyed the casual atmosphere of this sports bar , arcade and restaurant. Among our group we ordered the ribeye, wings, fried oysters and potato wedges. All was satisfying. The ribeye had a really good flavor. I ordered medium and unfortunately it arrived medium well . I did eat it all though and didn't mention to the waitress because she was busy and I was starving . Once my bill arrived I noticed the price of the ribeye was a couple dollars higher than the menu price and I thought that was odd considering I did not add or order anything extra. Not cool. I didn't address this to the waitress because she seemed busy. Although I might venture here again with friends, I personally wouldn't go out of my way to dine here again. Decent option if you live nearby .

Yelp
Great spot to catch a game on Saturday - lots of big screens; nice beer menu and the bar food was excellent. Our server, Maggie, was great - wonderful personality and tasty recommendations off the menu. Nice decor and really not all that loud - even with the game playing and the bar full. Back again to catch the next Tiger game!!

Yelp
Family vacation- looking over casual atmosphere for steak. So we select Garage 75. And this begins a 5-star experience. Great service, great food, great appetizers, great drinks, great casual atmosphere. Actually the best meal my family has enjoyed this week on vacation in Charleston. The steak and potato were perfectly seasoned and to the perfect temperature. My sister, bro-I'm-law, and myself each for the ribeye. Alll three ordered different temperatures. We ALL enjoyed it. My bro-in-law said it's the best steak he's ever had in a restaurant. I recommend this place as highly as I can. Super enjoyable experience.

Yelp
place didn't pop up on Google. great place to chill relax and game. I always thought there should be more restaurants like this theme of adult gaming and relaxation. drunk beer while kids have fun is cool and $$$$$....
google avatar

Kyle M.

Yelp
This place was great. Very cool place to get some food or drinks or just go play some games. The place is split into the arcade area and another area that is more of just a bar/restaurant area. But there is still seating in the arcade area, which we chose to sit in since there was no wait there. Obviously it's a little bit more noisy and stuff in that area, but there's a reason they give you the option so I can't complain. The only thing I would say is the service seemed a tad bit slow. But not egregiously slow. I didn't know what to expect as far as the quality of food going into it, because I didn't know if it was more of an arcade or a restaurant, but the burger and chips I ordered greatly exceeded my expectations. In fact, I would say the burger was easily in the upper 20 percent at least of burgers I have ever had, and the chips as a side were really good too. I ordered off their cocktail menu to try it out, and was satisfied by the quality of drinks they had as well. Of course, the last thing to review would be the arcade, the thing that makes this place unique. It was very cool. Had most things you would expect. Not as many as some other places that aren't also a great restaurant, but they all seemed pretty good. Very fun time and I would go back again.
google avatar

Minta P.

Yelp
I always enjoy this James Island local bar. Most of the time I sit at the bar, regardless if I am there to eat or grab a couple of drinks. The food is delicious! And they have different specials throughout the week. They have plenty of large, flat screens that can be seen easily from pretty much anywhere in the restaurant. Half of the place is devoted to food service and the other half is full of arcade games, pool tables and fun times. They have live music from time to time and also serve brunch. It's one of those places where you wouldn't feel weird going alone. Most everyone there, both patrons and staff alike are friendly and will make you feel right at home.
google avatar

Andrew J.

Yelp
I seem to enjoy this place every time I go and I haven't even been to half of it. I always just sit at the bar, enjoy some beer or a cocktail and some food. Always friendly service, good food, and reasonable prices. Taco Tuesdays! Outdoor seating is available, games, full bar, and lots of TVs that they will put on just about any game you're looking for. Just don't ask them to turn off Chive TV, they like that on at all times. (I mean who doesn't like a good Internet clip TV channel?) Swing by the Garage for a good time when next you're down Folly Rd.
google avatar

Heidi T.

Yelp
When I first moved here everyone raved about this place! Eventhough playing the games, when they work, was about the only thing going on here! The food and service aren't even sub par! Steaks poor quality and overpriced! Staff acts like it's a bother to do the job the are paid for and expect a tip!! Floors are disgusting! Idk how this place stayed open. I feel bad writing this review because I have family who love it, but I don't have money to waste ,especially when a home sandwich is cheaper and taste better than expensive sub par food!!!!!

Greg H.

Yelp
I would rate lower but cant. The food was overcooked. The server was too busy socializing amongst patrons to serve us.
google avatar

Sonya O.

Yelp
Been to a lot of barcades in my life, this is probably the worst. It has the prices of a dave and busters (think $1.50 a game for about 60-90 secs of play) but not even the diversity. The games were mediocre, and a third were out of order. Also, those swipe cards make sure you end up with leftovers that nothing is cheap enough to play. Even the crane machines were like the weakest cranes you could imagine, not shot in hell of picking up something as tiny as a rubber ducky. I know that's their thing, but come on. The service was a little weird and begrudging, which isn't something I'd usually comment on, but it was noticeable. The drinks were actually not bad for price, but price is about $3 more than you'll find on the old menus listed on yelp. Definitely a disappointment. Hopefully someone establishes a decent barcade in the city someday
google avatar

Mark L.

Yelp
Having experienced its predecessor, Max and Henry's I do have an option for comparison. The basic structure did not change, but many elements did. 1. The service for a bar and grill and game environment is top notch. A host meets you at the door, the wait staff is attentive and follow up is strong. Some go to dine and some to drink. Either way, they are on top. 2. Solid food selections. I highly recommend the flatbreads and the chicken philly (not even remotely healthy, but so good). 3. Games, games, games. This restaurant has two sections (dining and bar / dining and games). From pinball to ping pong, this is a great hang out for children and adults. 4. One of the best sports bars on James Island. Not only do they surround you with hi-def TV, but the size of their screens are some of the best on JI. 5. Parking can get tight, but it is rare that the lot is full. Now the National Championship with Clemson in it was a whole different ball game (No pun intended). But for the most part, parking is quite easy. This is a good time place with good food and service. Enough said. Enjoy it.

Julia R.

Yelp
I went to Garage 75 for the first time Friday. I met yo with colleagues for Happy Hour. I like the set up, and love that there are games to be played while having a drink. We enjoyed appetizers, and drinks. Everything we had was delicious, except for one which I'll get to next. The flatbread was delicious-a nice mix of sweet and savory. The mac & cheese was just right-could rival the best at any hot spot. The nachos were out of this world. The potatoes were fresh sliced, and cooked perfectly. The toppings were perfectly combined, with a great amount of each. The disappointing dish-the Warm Crab Dip. This was the worst crab dip I have ever tried. We were all put off when we saw the brownish color of it. We tried to eat a couple bites, but it was just disgusting. The service was excellent, and I definitely plan to return, but I would like to see some changes made to the crab dip!

Yelp
I wanted to try this place because the food looked good, and they have an arcade! I started with the corn dogs. They were just ok. Nothing special. The crust was not crunchy, but soggy, so not much of a fan of that. Then had the side salad which was really nice! The ranch is fantastic here! Then moved on to the ribeye! It was great flavor, but unfortunately over cooked. I ordered med rare, but was more on the med well side. I was a bit disappointed that they actually charge $2 to change from fries to potato wedges. Not sure of the reason why, but seemed unnecessary. The arcade was ok, not many options, but I'm a pinball fan. They had 3 machines to choose from. I would go back again, but definitely won't order the corn dogs, and will try something that doesn't require a specific temperature to be cooked to, for my liking.
google avatar

Debbie H.

Yelp
I really enjoyed my visit. Beer (local pale) and flatbread. Both were really good. Loved the super casual atmosphere. Lots of televisions - if that's your thing. High-tops and booths. No wait - to be seated or to get food. Quick. Easy, Delicious.

Yelp
Solid! Great steaks & food is always fresh & tasty. Great place to meet up with friends for dinner & fun.

Steven G.

Yelp
So I was gonna sit watch the game, and eat, but he refuses to make his friends get up. I come every game day.
