Daily happy hour, good food, great service. What's not to love? I always come here before or after Padres games. The carne asada fries are out of this world! Great place to pregame before any event!

Crystal Maza

Google
From 11-12 and 3-4 you can get an ENTIRE burger with fries for $6.( bobs burger) Best burger deal in downtown San Diego I've ever found. They also have happy hour that is 51% off of drinks which is SUCH a great deal!!!

Google
First night in San Diego and came to the garage for happy hour. It was the best thing to happen at the start of our vacation. Food and drinks were excellent. The bartender is great and all staff were friendly and helpful not only on service but recommending sights to see. We're going back before we leave. Feels like family 🥰

Sam Valtenbergs

Google
The micheladas and bloody marys were excellent. Bartender was really nice but the table service was pretty lacking: no waters even after asking twice and we waited ages to order. Also, tacking on a 3% “back of house” fee to the bill in addition to the mandatory 20% for large parties is total BS. It’s like the wait staff saw a large party and thought “mandatory 20% tip, time to take it easy…”

Amazing food! My husband and I shared the shrimp tacos as an appetizer — they were perfectly cooked. Great price! The service was incredibly friendly; they brought us water right away and made us feel welcome. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and had a fun, vibrant energ

Soooooo much fun! Especially if you're a Minnesota Vikings fan! The cereal shots were strong, food tasty, service EXCEPTIONAL, and the vibe was PURPLE! Shout out to Cielo for her warm and friendly personality and attentive service!

The bar is located right next to the Shout House. We went here for Happy Hour before our party next door. They had a great happy hour with 51% off drinks, excluding some specialty cocktails. Some of the food items were $2-3 off. We ordered a lot of drinks and food. It was good bar food. My favorites were the Ahi nachos and Carne Asada fries. The 5 side chicken wings were a little plain and shrimp tacos were soggy that night.

We walk up ask for a table for 4 on a Tuesday. The place lound and bumping, 4hey refuse to serve us because 2 of us "appear too drunk". I understand being safe but everyone inside was 1 million times drunker than us. We hadn't drank in over an hour (7pm on a Wednesday). I was able to drive, legally. Screw this place, all I wanted was food and they said no. Main problem is they made us wait over 10mins before telling us they wouldn't serve us.

Yelp
5/11/2025 - Garage Kitchen + Bar - Gaslamp Edition Parking? Forget about it. It's Gaslamp--park like a local and emotionally detach from your car for a few hours. Once you survive that urban jungle, Garage Kitchen & Bar makes it worth the trauma. They were going through a theme glow-up, so the vibe was a little "Pinterest mood board meets identity crisis"--but honestly, we were into it. It's like the bar was trying on different personalities and we were here to cheer it on. The bartender was a gem and whipped up a mystery cucumber cocktail that was so refreshing, it had us flirting with sobriety (but only for a second). We brainstormed names like "Cool Runnings," "Spa Water with a Kick," and "Cuke Me Up, Scotty"... nothing stuck, but the buzz did. The chicken & waffles? Golden. Crispy. Sweet and savory perfection. Like brunch and soul food had a delicious little love child. The pork belly hash was hearty and dense so not for the faint of heart. And don't you dare leave without trying the cereal shot flight--nostalgia in a shot glass, with just enough booze to make your inner child feel scandalous. 10/10 would return... if I can parallel park without having a breakdown.

Yelp
We stopped at Garage Kitchen + Bar for our Wednesday pre-Padres game lunch. We'd heard about the "Crazy Bob's Burger" deal. A burger and fries for six bucks! Served only twice per day between 11:00AM-noon and 3:00PM-4:00PM. It is a screaming deal! A juicy burger topped with white cheddar cheese, LTO, pickles and Thousand Island dressing all in a fantastic brioche. A very generous helping of hot out of the fryer fries, perfectly cooked and salted. Even a pickle spear on the side! Deb was our bartender, and she was outstanding! Super friendly, super cute and attentive. Four of us started at the bar, but decided a 4-top would be better. Deb happily helped us move to the table. We would absolutely return.

Yelp
Came here after a padres game! Started our night out with cocoa puff shots (so good!!) they had 3 other shot choices made with cereal milk, all sounded fantastic. We got the fry started (came with three sauces), the fries were okay, probably wouldn't get them again. Service was good for a busy night!

Yelp
Heard about this place and wanted to try it out. It's located in the Gaslamp district and is very family friendly. They have happy hour 3pm-6pm everyday. That included 51% off all drinks and $3 off all apps. I loved the ahi tuna poke nachos! They were delicious and will definitely get these again. There wasn't much of a wait and they got us seated within 10 minutes during happy hour. I would definitely recommend if you're looking for a more casual vibe!

Yelp
Have walked by here for years and never gone inside. Decided to try it today. It was freezing inside. The waitress was extremely nice. Everyone I interacted with was. I got a cheeseburger and added avocado. The burger was great! Would have been better if it did not take over a half hour to come out
google avatar

Yelp
We came here recently before a padres game and had a blast. We each ordered a different smash burger and both were incredible. The fries were also very very good! We also had an old fashion and a dirty martini which were excellent. This is a spot we can't wait to come back to! I've also been to the speakeasy in the back and they make delicious cocktails.
google avatar

Yelp
The brunch here was super good! they have bottomless mimosas and these bomb cereal shots, I definitely recommend getting the cereal shot flight! Wasn't too busy around 11 but got a bit more filled towards noon-1. Service was great, the waiter was super friendly and attentive.
google avatar

Yelp
Great happy hour burger deal. Definitely the place to go before a padres game if you can get down early. Only downside is they did not turn the game on once it started. Food was excellent and drinks were a good deal too. Hubby enjoyed a beer while I had a dirty Shirley

Yelp
Garage Kitchen and Bar in the Gaslamp district of San Diego. Limited street parking. Private garage parking was under 40 bucks which was ouchie :( and we still had to walk 3 blocks, not happy when inconvenienced. The garage is quiet honestly a sports bar with full bar service, a restaurant with multiple tv screens in a brick walled space with additional seating upstairs, indoor and outdoor. The owner is a Minnesota football Vikings fan and many customers do come here frequently to support the Vikings football team and watch the games. My friend is of Norwegian descent and is a hugh Vikings fan and birds of a feather flick together... lots of Vikings here :) Ironically, it's been since 1992 that the Vikings won at home against the 49ers. Todays game and ultimate Vikings win was a nail biter, exciting and fun. I like to think that Fendi and I being present here were Lucky Charms for the teams win lol The menu offered is Sunday brunch with limited selections. I was disappointed that wings, pizza and pasta were not on this brunch menu. I instructed our waiter to tell the owner, that's what we wanted or we would leave. Evidently the owner and kitchen staff agreed and accommodated my request. Because when watching NFL football, you should be able to eat whatever you want regardless of the time of day, especially wings! Ordered the buffalo wings naked with the dipping sauce on the side. Also tried the wings with asian spices called Beijing wings and they were delectably good. Again, during sports events on tv, the menus should offer popular football foods all day long. Service by the staff was great, our waiters today and from our previous visit were great. Staff were attentive, nice and followed up to make sure we were good. Our table and other tables were cleared immediately. The crowd around me were mostly Vikings fans and they were all loud and vocal. All our positive energy helped the Vikings win. Everyone was feeling good. Go Vikings!! The Garage made it a fun experience. Recommend.

Yelp
Brought my friends here for brunch, they loved it. They are pretty original with the breakfast cereal shots! Crowd pleaser for sure. This place is a fun place at night too, overall cool spot!

Yelp
My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this place while walking around looking for a place to eat. We got there at a good time they had happy hour going on so we ordered the Ahi Nachos and side of fries. Omg the nachos were so good! The serving size was big, enough to feed two people. The food and service were great! Servers kept checking in on us and were very attentive. The vibes were great, music was good and food was amazing! I will definitely be back and highly recommend it to others!

Yelp
Stopped by here for happy hour as they give 51% off drinks and they're not weak drinks either. Really good deal! My friend and I also decided to try their Beijing Style Wings and Ahi Nachos. The wings were weird and all you could taste out of the 5 spices was cinnamon, which fell apart like a churro when you bit into it. It was a very strange texture and flavor. The ahi nachos, on the other hand, were delicious and beautifully presented! It could've used more ahi tuna for all the wonton chips that were provided, but I thoroughly enjoyed everything. The edamame puree at the bottom of the plate was a delicious addition that I had never seen before. This is something I would never get tired of no matter how many times I eat it. Staff was friendly and the atmosphere was fun as well. I loved that they had hockey on the tv without me having to ask. Honest, I would be more than happy to come back here and try some of their other foods.

Yelp
This alone has been the best experience I've had during my 4 day SD trip and I knew I had to leave a positive review. The boys and I were trying to find a nice burger place and after being disappointed with WEREWOLF for not having their full menu after 3pm, we went next door to GARAGE Kitchen + bar. They seated us quickly on a Saturday evening. We were greeted with live performer playing the piano at the front. We were seated quickly and our waitress took our order. The burgers came out fresh and I was extremely happy with the juiciness of the meat and flavor combination of the burger. I would definitely come back in the future if I am ever in town!

Yelp
We were looking for a quick lunch-dinner and found the perfect spot. Simple bar food that was delivered quickly. And cocktails that were delicious. The nachos, in particular, were so good. Thick tortilla chips held cheesy, peppery goodness topped with a chunky guac that was well made. When you are in downtown San Diego, this is a must stop.

Yelp
Came on Father's Day Sunday and was instantly impressed when the hosted cleaned the high chair before giving it to us... that alone is worth 5 stars in my opinion!!! AND the high chair was a tall one so we could sit at a bar top outside and enjoy the cool SD weather. The hostess and waitress were super friendly and nice. Food came out fast and the flavors were delicious! Hubby and I shared the carne asada fries ($18 appetizer- a little overpriced IMO for the size) but it WAS delicious. And we shared the buffalo chicken sandwich which was amazing as well (sorry no pic). The buffalo sauce wasn't Franks (which was a happy change for us), it had a nice kick and the slaw on the sandwich was good. Wish the sandwich came with some chips or French fries tho. We ordered my 2.5 year old the kids French toast. It came with a small amount of whipped cream on the side and a sprinkle of blueberries and a few slices of strawberries... my son devoured it! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was the table was sticky.... But other than that, everything was amazing and we will definitely make this a regular stop when we come to SD again!

Yelp
We walked in and got sitted at the bar. Short table but still at the bar. I had a delish bunless juicy burger. And happy hour drinks till 6pm. Was pretty full great for having a meal while waiting for the show next door that is connected thru the back. They also have an upstairs area. Talking about a Viking setting. Really enjoy the place. Bartender catered to my food restrictions which is always a plus for me. Bathrooms clean and held up. For pretty full during happy hour. Will be returning because I want to see what is this dual piano thing next door. More about that in my next visit

Jessie L.

Yelp
Bob's $6 Burger deal - can't beat .. paired with a big ass michi - can't ask for a better deal... We will visit again when we're back in town for sure

Yelp
Wanted something decently affordable in the Gaslamp before a concert and stumbled upon this spot. Pretty standard tasting burger ($18) and chicken sandwich, nothing special but did fit the bill. The burger was big but a little dry though. Decent beer selection and Sunday happy hour till 6pm. Espresso martini was good. I like the ski lodge aesthetic and for non football fans they had equestrian riding on which was kinda cool. Food and service was prompt which is appreciated since we didn't have that much time.

Joe W.

Yelp
Lunch 11AM Saturday. Very crowded and noisy. Fair service. Came for the special burger at only $6. It was a decent burger for $6 but the low price wasn't enough to want me to go back for more. Note that $6 special is for limited time only and limited time during the day. Also they have a 3% surcharge that isn't disclosed online or on the printed menu. Another odd thing. During regular (non happy hour) time all the beers are $9 even Bud Light!!!. Why? Why are all the beers $9.
google avatar

Jill G.

Yelp
The burgers are so yummy! Not overcooked at all, nice size and one of the best I've had in a bit!

Yelp
We needed a late night spot for a drink and a bite to eat, and I had my old small pup in tow. The Garage was located centrally in town, is dog friendly, with friendly staff, and had tasty eats. We ordered the impossible burger, fries and onion rings and some beers. It was the perfect late night meal to share with friends, and the venue is a relaxed sports bar style place, bustling with happy chatty patrons, with mostly tall top seating.
google avatar

Sylvester R.

Yelp
I have to say this place was great. Mimosas and the carne asade Benny were excellent. Definitely a Minnesota Vikings bar but also a great place to watch any games with multiple TVs where any seat what a good seat. Forest was such an amazing personality to meet along with JJ and Emily. I have to say it was an awesome experience.
google avatar

Jessica M.

Yelp
FOOD I had a buffalo sandwich and it wasn't great, def wouldn't get it again. It was super fried, felt like it was twice fried. Hard to bite/eat. I love buffalo sandos usually, but this was much. The fries were pleasant :) salted perfectly SERVICE The staff was kind and friendly AMBIANCE Nice space. Cool for group gatherings, not necessarily a date spot. Would come back for different items if in the area and hungry.
google avatar

Rob S.

Yelp
The food was pretty good but the service was just really bad. I think they were irritated because we had a party of 10 for lunch. They literally made us wait 15 minutes just to order drinks. I went to the bar to get a couple of beers and that made them even less attentive /-; What do ya do..... Then, after 15 minutes and because i was paying for the group, I let the server know that I would pay him a 25% tip if he would take care of us.... This helped a tiny bit. The two other bartenders were giving us side-eye the whole time we were there and not helping us at all. But the male bartender came by a couple of times. Maybe because it was St Patrick's Day they wanted a different crowd. But you can see from the pictures, it wasn't crowded. Anyway even though the service was sub par I still gave the bartender/server $50

Yelp
We had a wonderful experience at GARAGE Kitchen + Bar! We were looking for a restaurant with happy hour in downtown SD. GARAGE offers happy hour on food and drinks Tuesdays-Sundays from 4-6PM as well as late night happy hour on Fridays and Saturdays from 9PM-Close. Their happy hour consists of 51% off all drinks, excluding top shelf and specialty cocktails as well as $3 off appetizers. The mixed drinks were very good, I tried the Californiacation and would recommend! As for food we tried Bob's Burger (served on its own with no sides) the Carne Asada Fires, and chicken tenders w/ fries. The Carne Asada Fries were the best we've ever had, and we've had a lot. The fries were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, there was a good portion of carne asada and the cream sauce that the fries were covered in was amazing. Our waitress and the whole staff were all very kind and attentive. We had a wonderful experience and will return when we find ourselves back in SD again.

Yelp
This is a good place to go if you are looking for a chill sports bar. The burgers are giant and really delicious! The fries are good as well. We were promptly seated and the waiter came by often. They offer a wide variety of drinks as well. We sat at the bar and had a good time eating and chatting.
google avatar

Rob M.

Yelp
While walking around downtown, we wanted a quick beer and were enticed to enter this place because of their post-Padre game happy hour. Decided to sit at the bar and received excellent service. The place's ambiance is very cool and it is vast (even the walk to the bathrooms is a trek). Only one dark beer offering and the tightness of the bar area seating is keeping this rating just average. Very loud, so be prepared.
google avatar

Spencer J.

Yelp
Great atmosphere and very polite and kind staff. They had the Padres game on and a bunch of Padres themed decor up. I think they had good drink deals as well as events such as trivia. I would highly recommend to stop in

Yelp
Definitely didn't expect this place to be so good ! Came here for bottomless mimosas for the My brother, dad and husband but even the food had us surprised. Mimosas were delicious! Perfect balance of champagne and orange juice that didn't taste too strong of either. Definitely one of the best momosas I have tasted. Only downside here was that the service was quite slow in terms of the mimosa refills. We had to call them multiple times to refill us. (We came to the restaurant with 1 hour left of the brunch service So we're hoping to get quicker refills but they took quite a long time) COBB SALAD (Romaine Lettuce | Chicken Breast | Hard Boiled Egg | Bacon Blue | Cheese Crumbles |Pickled Onions | Grape Tomatoes) - So ginormous and so delicious! Quite a large amount of bacon and blue cheese so I took some of it out but it was so good on its own that I didn't even need the dressing! THE BEST BREAKFAST SANDWICH EVER ( Wild Boar Sausage |Over Hard Egg | Cheddar | Bacon Jam | Cheddar Chive Biscuit | Rosemary Potatoes) - Husband got this one. He really enjoyed the flavor of everything. Everyone on the table tried and liked it as well. The cheddar chive biscuit was quite a surprise. I absolutely love those Rosemary potatoes on the side! So perfectly crispy and didn't seem to greasy either. Right amount of Rosemary flavor on there and just a beautiful side dish overall. NASHVILLE CHICKEN SANDWICH (Fried Chicken House Slaw | Pickles | Spicy Aioli | Brioche Bun) - This was one big sandwich! Really giant chunk of chicken in there and good amount of coleslaw and aioli as well. Flavor was on point too. Good amount of spiciness in the fried chicken and went well with the slaw and ayoli and pickles. Everyone loved the sandwich. BUTCHER'S BURGER (Blend of Bison Wild Boar & Beef Bacon Jam | Cheddar | Lettuce | Tomato | Crispy Shallots | Garage Sauce | Brioche Bun) - my brother got this And definitely enjoyed. He's a big fan of burgers and loved the portion size on this one. It was one of those burgers that is just very loaded with fillings and that made it so much better. Came with fries on the side. Generous portion size of the fries as well, and no complaints because those were good fries!

Yelp
We stopped here after the Taco and Beer festival and I must say I was impressed. We had some burgers and pizza and it was amazing. The service was fast and all in all I thoroughly enjoyed myself. With Shout House next door I took a peak to check out the performances. Highly recommend it.

Yelp
Food and service was good. Wait for the food wasn't long. Also got to watch the eagles game live while enjoying a well deserved brunch after a wild night out haha.

LC R.

Yelp
Cool spot with a laid-back vibe and decent food. We had the pizza, which was freshly oven-cooked--tasty with a good crust. Not quite wood-fired quality, but still enjoyable. Only downside was the music--it was way too loud. Hard to have a conversation without raising your voice. If they turned it down just a notch, the experience would've been a lot better. Good for casual eats, but maybe not the best choice if you're looking to actually talk with your group

Yelp
I visited Garage Kitchen and Bar last Friday, 6/30/2023 for lunch at around 1 pm. The restaurant is interesting since it's a bar/restaurant connected with Shout located next door. Food: ++Guava juice -$4 - Quite refreshing. Restaurants don't always offer guava juice so it's nice to be able to order that. Kind of tastes like kerns (prob is kerns lol) but it's still tasty. ++Buddha bowl - $18 add Chicken -$6 = $24 - A hearty bowl that includes avocado, Farro, butter squash, grape tomatoes, edamame, brown rice and I subbed the carrot ginger sauce (I'm not a fan of too much ginger taste) with the sesame vin (the sauce from the ahi nachos) and brown rice. This is a vegetarian dish but I added chicken for extra protein. I ended up ordering the Buddha bowl since I've been eating heavier meals, I wanted a healthier option. This dish was so delicious. The flavors blended so well together. It had a nice roasty and garlic flavor, and I'm glad I subbed the sauce. I ended up eating half of this once the portion was more than enough for me. ++Side of fries - $4 - Fries can be pretty basic but I realized I like my fries a specific way and Garage nailed it lol. I actually enjoyed the crispiness and width of the fries. They also weren't over-salted, they were perfect haha. Ambiance: - Interesting since it's a bar but like it's day-time. I was quite intrigued since I usually don't eat in places like this, but it was definitely a casual/ relaxed place. Note that the restroom is also located in the back. You have to walk a little ways and it's connected to Shout, which is next door. Customer service: We were tended to; however, they weren't as on top of it checking in on us. We had to flag them down to order and then when we wanted extra ketchup, we ended up taking some from an empty table near us since they were busy. I do want to add that the staff member who took our order was training with another senior staff but they were helpful with the questions we had and had a great attitude. Please note that they charge a 3.95% surcharge that I wasn't aware of so keep that in mind. All in all, if I'm ever back in this area, I'd consider coming back. Thanks for a great meal and time, Garage!

Yelp
I am not sure if this is under new management or if The Garage has gone down hill. This is a local favorite but not for much longer. to my knowledge The Garage and The Shout House share ownership so I can't let this review reflect on The Shout House because that is a great place. the beer specials are great at here at The Garage but the food we have been given old wings like stale. I am not sure how you mess up French fries but the Garage can teach you how. Overall an easy recommendation years ago but it's not the same place. Something has changed and I highly recommend looking elsewhere with the other great various options in Gaslamp. would provide a photo but they took it away quick.

Yelp
I hosted a large company and client event at the restaurant and bar. Everything went flawlessly. Christopher, the manager, and team ensured everything was in place and set early as guests arrived early. Food was excellent, many compliments on the sliders and tacos, drinks kept flowing and I heard many many rave reviews from the attendees about what a great party and venue it was. Thanks again Garage team.

Yelp
These wings are flat out strange they don't taste like five spice at all they taste like churro wings... 0/10 DO NOT recommend. However, the Cobb salad was great and so was the service.

Yelp
March 6, 2024, and we stopped in for lunch. Mellow music and great staff. 15 beers on tap and the black house coffee stout was delicious. The Bartender also made a very tasty customized Mocktail. The onion rings are definitely a go to, and the butcher burger was juicy/flavorful.

Yelp
we were initially drawn to this place for their $15 bottle of bubbles but it was NOT worth ~Food~ traditional french toast: this was the best thing we've tried and even the french toast was nothing special. the bread was a bit chewy but everything else was fine- fruits were fresh and butter was nice and soft bobs burger: very mediocre burger. at first glance, the burger looks so delicious but after a few bites, we noticed the bun was dry and the patty was not well seasoned. it also didn't come with fries so we paid $7 for fries but even the fries were mediocre? which i didn't think was possible veggie pizza: this was the most disappointing dish we tried here. it looked and tasted like frozen pizza that was reheated. the crust tasted like cardboard and the cheese wasn't even fully melted overall, this place was not worth the price. every dish was disappointing and we left feeling very unsatisfied ~Service: ok service ~Cost: $$ not pricey but not worth the price ~Parking: pretty difficult but street parking or structure parking available

Yelp
Came for brunch on a Saturday and overall thought the experience was mid. The vibe is more laid back and chill, with plenty of TVs behind the bar. The restaurant was relatively full when we arrived but was able to be seated immediately for our large party. Unfortunately, was not impressed by the chilaquiles- they were definitely dry and were lacking a punch in its spice. The asada meat was decent and helped to fill me up! The service was good as the servers were incredibly accommodating and helpful for our large party.

Yelp
Delicious food. Service was a little slow ... but not awful. There was a lot of team work happening. Music was a little loud for my taste, but typical of the downtown area - especially on a Saturday night.

Yelp
Friends are we're celebrating here for boozy brunch and were very disappointed to find out they dont have regular milk ( coffee with flavored creamer) Very limited breakfast options, friends enjoyed their breakfast. I won't recommend it for breakfast for sure but not bad for game to watch or just have a drink

Yelp
We were walking around with our kids and stumbled upon Garage, we were so happy we did! We were sat upstairs, my kids were stoked to be on the 2nd floor. Mimi, our server met us with such a great vibe and presence, even my son said " mom she seems really cool!" My husband asked for the tv to be put on sports and Eli was really accommodating asking what teams, sports, etc. The food was good, the kids ate the lemon pancakes and the waffles. My daughter who is a little picky wasn't happy w the waffles so they remade them fresh for her! When we left one of the workers (long red hair) chased us to give me my forgotten water bottle, this is the type of service I'm talking about. Everyone there was awesome!! The beers were delicious and service was fantastic, we will for sure be back when we are in the area!

Yelp
Garage kitchen and bar is located in Downtown San Diego in the Gaslamp district on 4th Avenue and Market, serving up bottomless mimosas and serving brunch until 3 pm! What better way to enjoy your Sunday funday than to enjoy mimosas with friends and experience 51% off happy hour all drinks and 3 dollars off small plates. I noticed the huge sign out front, and I just had to check this place out. I came through on a Sunday right before happy hour to enjoy the fine bubbly champagne with a splash of orange juice as well as a Harland Japanese lager on draft. For food, we had the Nashville spicy chicken sandwich and the chicken bacon ranch wrap. The sandwich was full of flavor with hints of spicyness from the cayene pepper. The coleslaw was cool and creamy while the bun was perfectly soft. The decor and ambiance inside had a nice and modern feeling. Inside, they had about 4 Tvs playing sports, and everyone inside seemed to be having a good time. Service was great, and the staff kept the drinks filled for the most part of the time. I'm looking forward to coming back again and trying some other brunch items like the biscuits and gravy or maybe even the famous cereal shots they have.

Yelp
In from Chicago for the day and my daughter took us to Garage for brunch. I looked at the menu and was skeptical that I could find something I liked. I'm not the most adventurous eater. I decided to try the best breakfast sandwich in the world, but my expectations were not high. The place was packed, a very high energy younger crowd. Our meals came in about 30 minutes. I surveyed my sandwich, closed my eyes, and took a big bite. I immediately tasted the sausage, which was very good. The bacon jam also exceeded expectations. The whole sandwich 'worked' with the egg, cheese, and excellent cheddar chive biscuit. My daughter got the avacado toast and she loved it! They brought out a little bowl of very fresh fruit as a starter. Overall, highly recommended!

Yelp
First time here and love this place for happy hour! Cant beat the price. Tried the ahi nachos and honestly the best I've ever had. Even the boyfriend who isn't a fan of fresh fish loved it! Didn't have that fishy taste in the tuna tartare. Didn't try the drinks but was told the margarita was excellent and was not at all watered down. Our server came and greeted us immediately as we sat down and frequently checked on us despite being far from the bar. Will come back again to try other menu items, especially during happy hour.

Yelp
I consider the Garage a much tamer, low key version of the Shout House next door. If you're looking to enjoy a good meal, have a conversation, while enjoying live music you should check out the garage. I've been here a few times and have always really enjoyed myself. They usually have live music (I've seen piano players and a guitarist), which creates a nice vibe. I also love the brick work of the building and overall ambiance. Food: This last time I ordered the Buddha Bowl with seared ahi and it was delicious. It had a bit of a kick to it, but the ahi was seasoned and seared perfectly, the farro was cooked perfectly and very flavorful, and the edamame, avocado, and tomatoes added a nice cooling effect. My husband got the spicy chicken sandwich, which he said was good. I was able to snag some of his fries and these fries are so good and worth it! I've also ordered burgers and a salad previously and all were really good. Service; Servers checked in on us frequently and food came out reasonably fast. They also have a pretty good happy hour as well. I still need to come back and try the brunch because it looks and sounds awesome!
