R Garcia & Sons - Review - London - The Infatuation

"R. Garcia has been selling high-quality sardines and jamón on Portobello Road for over 50 years now. The Spanish supermarket and deli has an enormous range of pantry items and fresh goods, with its deli counter - filled with slices of manchego sitting in oily tubs, and enormous hunks of ham waiting to be carved - being particularly irresistible. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation

Best spanish products you can find in London, just some items are too expensive, couldn't get all we were looking for, still great selection of snacks. The hot chocolate is amazing, same with the churros they sell frozen.

Great authentic shop for all Spanish products. Got my Roscon de Reyes from here and it was absolutely delicious, fresh and very popular with all my guests. Would recommend.

Really like this place. I like to try different countries products and try to buy them from independent stores and this store has lots of options. Their deli looks good too. The lady on the check out was so nice and had a little conversation with my little daughter which makes her happy. Will visit again for sure.

This shop offers a great selection of traditional Spanish food. Was so glad to find Christmas sweets there - polvorones and wafer sticks. If you are looking for olives and jamon at reasonable prices this is a place to go to.

If you're spanish, this shop has most of the brands you miss from home. As one would expect, you do pay more than you would in spain.

All things Spanish and South American. Excellent deli counter. If you want to cook something authentically ly Spanish, this is the place to visit.

This is a very good Spanish supermarket (a little bit expensive though). But they have a very big and unacceptable problem, which is that THEY SELL EXPIRED PRODUCTS, specifically beer, and they do it on purpose because they try to erase the expiration date, as seen in the picture. We confronted them about this, then came back another time and they were still doing it. This is actually ilegal and they should be fined.

The range of goods on sale is impressive, but I was disappointed to find the price of the Suchard chocolate that I bought was £1.50 cheaper in Plaza Deli just up the road.
