The plants at Garden Dreams are beautiful, lush and healthy. You can see the love that goes into their growth. Also, the women who work there are friendly, knowledgeable and take great pride in their craft.

Beautiful plants at a well-maintained urban garden center selling mostly herbs and some veggies. Slightly pricey ($4.75/4" pot), but they are gorgeous, carry interesting varieties and are certified organic. Very nice, knowledgeable staff and great dogs!!

Great local nursery! The staff is very knowledgeable, there are a ton of options for growing your own food, and the garden is overall a peaceful place to visit. I was highly impressed by the different options for growing my own tomatoes, and the great compost at the bag it yourself area.

A great place to go to learn about and purchase natives, polinater plants, and fruit and vegetable plants. Staff takes a lot of care and is friendly and helpful. Wonderful selection. You can see many of the plants growing in demonstration gardens at full size. Workshops listed on website.

They have the highest quality plants. Unique varieties. Only organic nursery around that I know about. Can"t beat their prices. Always knowledgeable help with any questions about varieties and growing tips.

This is the best place to buy flower and vegetable seedlings in Pittsburgh. The staff is amazing. It's easy to see how healthy the plants are. You cannot even compare to the big box stores.

Today Garden Dreams held an event--a workshop on starting seedlings. It was taught by a man named Micheal,. He was extraordinarily knowledgeable about the subject. It felt like a college class, but accessible. I'm going back for a follow up class about raised bed gardening in a few weeks.

Small selection but two large greenhouses with things that are not for sale. People seemed nice. Could see going there more often to grab a single plant if it was very close walking distance.

Garden Dreams Rocks . . . !!! We purchased a flat of garden plants for Mother's Day, with both my wife and daughter, and we found all kinds of goodies for the garden, some of my favorites, and some new ones I had never even heard of. All plants are certified organic, healthy looking, and Mindy and her crew were just fantastic, and very helpful. Highly recommend!

This place is awesome! Knowledgeable staff, healthy organic heirloom seedlings, bag-your-own compost and leaf mulch. I went on their opening day and it wasn't too crowded. Will be back many more times this season!

Best, hardiest, seedlings anywhere. Fantastic place. They grow vegetables, flowers, herbs, and fruit. I can't recommend them enough.

This place is great we just bought plants there for the second year in a row. Last year I decided not to put my seeds indirectly because it was so late in the season and we found this place. The plants were healthy and transplanted perfectly. They gave us tons of vegetables. I love businesses that are innovative and trying to think differently.These guys have nailed it!!

I love this place!! I just moved to Pittsburgh and am renting a house with a raised bed. I went over to Garden Dreams and they helped me pick out herbs, veggies, and flowers that would work well in my situation. Everything so far is thriving! They have amazing organic soil as well as rich compost that you can buy by the bag. Excellent stuff, I used the compost with some other plants and they are doing fabulously as well. The customer service was great, the expert staff didn't once roll their eyes at my dumb questions. Can't wait to go back!

I purchased herbs from Garden Dreams for the first time this year. OMG. They are amazing. Healthy. Strong. And taste great. Can't wait until next year when Garden Dreams will be the FIRST place I visit for my annuals and veggies.
