I just returned home from having Mother’s Day brunch at the Garden Grove restaurant at the Swan. The brunch was very good, the atmosphere lovely, and the service was excellent. BUT after spending over $400 for brunch the hotel front desk would not validate our parking because it was not dinner. So each family (3 of us) paid an additional $40 parking fee ($120) to park there for 1 1/2 hours each. Very disappointed and I will not be returning or recommending this venue to others.

Google
I really enjoyed breakfast here. We got filling meals for a much better price than what the buffets were charging- without the pressure to overeat before hitting the parks. Our server was on top of things as well

I tried going here, but the people who were standing there didn't even tell me the place was closed. It was weird because online, it said they were open. We went back the next day and placed an order for to-go. We ordered: 1. 3 egg ham and cheese omelette - Cooked perfectly, but for the price, I don't understand why it doesn't come with potatoes. Sourdough toast was hard 2. How you like them - 2 over easy eggs, bacon, hash browns, and english muffin. This was the perfect amount of food for me. Hash browns were super crunchy, and the english muffin was nice and soft. 3. Side of sausage - this was plump and juicy. Very flavorful. We chose to get food here because it was located in the hotel we were staying at. The food was good, but a little overpriced, I think. Maybe you're paying for the convenience. Service was lacking, it seemed like they don't like working and would rather talk to their co-workers.

We had but a mere breakfast before Magic Kingdom but I can honestly say this was the best breakfast I’ve had in a long while. Just from the first bite of home fries, I was hooked. Usually home fries are either not cooked enough, mushy. These were amazing and the eggs Benedict was perfection. I’ll be back tomorrow!

My wife and I visited this restaurant on the last day of our trip to the Walt Disney World Dolphin and Swan. We had originally planned on attempting to go on a weekend since the breakfast buffet features characters but we ended up going on a Monday morning around 10:30am. The restaurant was not busy at all. In fact, I would say there were no more than ten tables of Guests at that time of day. The atmosphere inside has all the tables circling a large tree with flickering lanterns in the middle of the room while the buffet was in a small area on the outer wall. As for the selections available I must say that it was lacking compared to what other buffets have offered in hotels such as Hampton Inn and the like. We were surprised when our server told us that if we wanted toast we had to ask her for it and she would go and get it, unlike most other buffets I have ever been to where bread is readily available. Even the Mickey shaped waffles that are standard at all Disney buffets were not on the buffet itself and had to be asked for. However, despite the limitations on offerings the food itself was very good and I could not have been happier with the omelet station and the taste of the food I had. The only other negative I would say is that there were a group of kids from one family who kept running around the restaurant playing hide-and-seek and otherwise causing commotion, even so much as almost running into one woman carrying a plate of food. The servers and other staff did not say anything to the parents (who were just sitting at their table oblivious to their kids) in an attempt to get the youngsters under control.

Google
Garden Grove is a restaurant located in the Dolphin hotel. The dining area is circular in shape and is centered around a large tree. During this visit my wife and I each ordered the biscuits and gravy. It also comes with home fries and eggs any style. I chose scrambled eggs and it was a very healthy portion. The home fries were also seasoned well and had a nice crispiness to them. The biscuits and gravy were also good. Overall I would recommend visiting Garden Grove for breakfast.

Google
Located inside the Swan hotel, I had higher expectations from this place. The concept of the big tree inside the restaurant is pretty interesting. The service was alright and the waitress was nice with accommodating our party. They offer a lot of healthy breakfast options which sound better than they taste. Out of all the different dishes i've tried here I would strongly recommend the Avocado Toast which was absolutely delicious.

Went there for Xmas eve. We were the first ones seated, so the dishes were warm and looked perfect. It was pretty limited, but the dessert table was fabulous! The creme brulee was pretty weak and didn't have that crispy burnt sugar topping that I love, but the eggnog custard was divine!

Yelp
Very average dining experience. We stumbled upon this restaurant for breakfast given its proximity to our resort and we were advised by hotel staff to visit for eating purposes. The entryway is actually quite charming with an open window allowing easy viewing of all the delicious cakes that are handmade for dessert. The seating area feels like an open greenhouse with tall ceilings and clear glass windows. I do like the circular rotunda format and found it to be quite fun to be seated there. Unfortunately, the food was very average with my bowl of steel cut oatmeal feeling like it was straight out of a box. Staff were friendly but I'm not sure I would return here given the quality of the actual food served.

Yelp
Located within the Swan hotel. Good breakfast with plenty of options. Doesn't get as packed as some of the other breakfast places in Disney. The inside is cool with a large oak tree in the center. Great place to start off your Disney day.

Yelp
Marcela was amazing. She was so friendly and accommodating, especially to dietary restrictions. She made us feel welcome and literally accommodated everything we asked for. She was so sweet to my extended family and also went out of her way to get to know us and our family. We will definitely be coming back just to see her!

Yelp
We had a great breakfast this morning at our hotel, the Swan. Our waitress, Adriana, was the best. We were served coffee and water right away, and put food came out quickly. The food tasted yummy and was of good portion. I had the eggs benidict, and hubby had eggs, pancakes, bacon, and potatoes. The potatoes were a little on the salty side, but other than that, everything was great. The ambiance was a little dated but comfortable. The best part of the meal was chatting with Adriana. She was attentive and so sweet! One of the best waitresses I've ever had!

Brian F.

Yelp
Place was better than expected. Nice change from the Disney owned breakfast spots. Oatmeal portion was huge. Berry bowl was more like a berry cup. French toast and pancakes were good. Service was very good. I would consider again

Brian B.

Yelp
Not sure I understand all the negative reviews for this place. It was the go to breakfast spot for me and my 2 daughters while on vacation. Food was good and the portions were all huge - big enough that a parent could make a full meal eating a child's leftovers. Service was good, and food always came out fast. My only complaint is that they aren't open everyday.

Steven W.

Yelp
Came to Garden Grove a long time ago for their dinner buffet and glad to see it still there. Dinner buffet has a wider variety of foods to pick from for all ages. Of course they had your standard kids food like pizza, nuggets and Mac n cheese but for adults I remember more meatier dishes and good selection of veggies and desserts. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the story the restaurant tells.

Janine L.

Yelp
Hearty meal . A big step up from the breakfast buffet they once were . Great portions and delightful meal . Eggs cooked perfectly , the gravy was flavorful and seasoned to perfection .

Yelp
I was excited to come to this $39 buffet with my parents. I didn't expect there to be so many loud children and parents who cannot control them. We came when there was a seafood buffet limited to friday and Saturday night. There is a limited buffet with a children portion of chicken nuggets, corn dogs, mac n cheese, and some veggies. Next each table gets a stuffed half lobster per person and a bucket of fried fish shrimp clams and fries. The lobster was sweet but a tad overcooked. The fried stuff was a tad salty. On the buffet was new york strip boil, amazing. She cooked it again to make medium well from the big round piece of meat she cut off of. There was also overly salted crab legs that parents in tow tried to wash out with hot water, but still couldn't get the salt out. There was overly soggy rice paela, cooked mussels, salty lemon chicken, very salty mash potatoes. Dessert was pretty delectable but to an extreme of overly sweet selection of banana foster, very tangy sour cheesecake, and overly sweet chocolate selections. I did like the clam chowder, but it definitely was in the high salt content. It also was cute the goofy character came walking around taking pictures. I would only recommend this place if your with kids and like salty foods. If not choose cape may, a much better seafood buffet choice in Disney.

Yelp
The tree in the center of the restaurant is so cool! All of the tables are placed around the tree. The food was really good. The scrambled eggs were some of the best I've had. Now for the negative....the service was horrible. We sat for about 15 minutes after we were seated before anyone ever came to our table. Once our waitress showed up she promised quick service and she meant it. We got our food quickly and she disappeared. We needed refills for a while and finally got them when she brought the ticket back to our table. For a restaurant this nice, the servers need to be better.

Craig F.

Yelp
Garden Grove isn't that bad. I mean, off the lunch menu, I wasn't that impressed, especially with the kids menu. It just lacked originality and offered little creativity. The dinner buffet, however, was a bit more entertaining, especially when some of our Disney favorites visited our table: Chip & Dale, Pluto, and Minnie. The dinner buffet's somewhat pricey, but I'm sure no one's surprised, and although my wife and I by no means eat enough to cover the cost, we could appreciate the variety. Plus, there's seafood. The service is great, everyone's very welcoming and nice, and it's relaxing enough. When staying at the Swan, Garden Grove--while it's not as much fun or as expansive as Goofy's Kitchen back at Disneyland--deserves a try.

Lauren F.

Yelp
We came in for Sunday dinner. It's mostly a buffet, but the seafood (lobster and crab legs) is delivered to your table. You can ask for more. The selection included salad, fried seafood and dessert. The website says this about the dessert: "Enjoy decadent Desserts, created by our award-winning Pastry Chef, Laurent Branlard." There was also meat so if you don't like seafood, you're still fine. The selection is not too extensive, but it does the job. The server was super nice and very helpful, even for our large group of 10. We ordered a couple of pitchers of beer to accompany the food. This meal is advertised as a character meal. More than halfway through, Goofy and Pluto came in. There weren't too many other tables there so they came back multiple times to joke around. We were one of the last in the restaurant and Goofy walked out with us. It was pretty cute.

Yelp
After hearing great reviews from many friends, decided to try Garden Grove for their Easter Brunch. I've had many Character Dining experiences and this totally takes the cake solely based upon the sheer number of characters constantly coming out and interacting. Food was good. Standard breakfast buffet. The value is definitely there given the cost is a fraction of the other character dining experiences on property. Will definitely be back.

Josh P.

Yelp
2.5 stars is a little low. We took a chance as we stayed here and it was easy. Shrimp tacos were very good and not ultra messy. We also had the pulled pork sandwich which was good too Service was really excellent It was not super busy so that help service I am sure. I would go again.

Chelsea R.

Yelp
This was ok. I got the Turkey hash. I was excited for this because it's the only place around with real breakfast food that isn't coffee(which I don't like) or pastries (which I don't like in the AM).My Hash had turkey and sweet potatoes and came with 2 eggs your way, and spinach. I was thinking this would be presented as hash with the two eggs on top. No. Everything was separated. So the presentation was weird. And I wasn't a fan of that. Service was quick though! I would maybe come back here.

Yelp
This is one of the two restaurants open for breakfast options at the Swan. The venue is very nice, and the food is pretty decent. The service today was OK. I'm really writing this review as a reflection on how I saw the hotel today and yesterday seating people. For starters, the restaurant is arranged to allow proper social distancing according to local regulations. I arrive for breakfast at eight there were two other groups in the restaurant and they were sat at opposite ends of the large circle from each other. I was sat along the edge of the circle in between those two groups. It felt great. And they were lots of other spaces left around the outside. However he's more groups showed up. , Instead of allowing for an even better level of social distancing by sitting people along the outside, they started filling in the circle around my table and the other peoples table at this point everybody was unnecessarily close. I also saw the same thing yesterday. This is just my opinion, the restaurant can see people as they like, but if there's lots of space why cram everybody into the same part of the restaurant. I ended up getting my breakfast to go

Janny Y.

Yelp
We came and had some a la cart breakfast. Due to covid there's no character greeting. Service was good. Food was as expected, pricey but not extravagant. The most worthy plate that we ordered that morning was the fresh fruit bowl. My son's Mickey waffles were super cute, I didn't get to taste it till it's gotten cold from being in the hotel fridge. My other son order the French toast, He didn't like it and only took a bite. It wasn't made with regular white bread toast, I think it was a sub roll type of bread and loaded with syrup. Overall, it's ok.

Yelp
DO NOT SPEND THE MONEY! I know that comes across very blunt, but the experience we had did not come anywhere near justifying the over priced and below average experience. Please read the lengthy review for full detail. We had reservations at 7:30 on 12/25/19 (Christmas) with all expectations of the seafood selection, as the website listed, only to find a "holiday" selection for $10 more. SERVICE: Seating was quick, but that's where the positives left. Upon being seated, we waited roughly 10 minutes with no service at all. The restaurant was about 30% full, with majority of servers standing around looking extremely upset to be there. Tables on all sides continued being visited, while we waited without any interaction at all until finally being able to motion someone over to get our server. FOOD: The food selection was NOT worth the $48.99 per person price. Think of a buffet comprised of hospital cafeteria food. The "ribeye" was actually a pot roast, the gnocchi was dry, and just had sauce dumped over it. The only somewhat palatable food was on the kids buffet, with cold chicken nuggets and Mac and cheese. The only good hot food was tater tots. Not to mention, within an hour of eating, both my fiancé and I had the absolute worst stomach pain and nausea that lasted even into this morning. EXPERIENCE: During the whole dinner, service was mediocre at best, with several times of having drinks cleared, randomly having forks and knives be taken away while at the buffet. The only positive were the character actors, who did a fantastic job Interacting with everyone. FRUSTRATIONS: Before arriving we called to check on parking validation, and were told this restaurant doesn't partake, and that we would be charged $25 to park for dinner. Upon checking in for our reservations, unprompted we were given validation, contradicting the entire phone call conversation. Lastly, an 18% gratuity was charged on the meal for 2 dinners, without any notification until printed on the check. Again this was for TWO dinners at a buffet, not a party of 6+ diners. We have no issue with tipping, in fact, in many situations service as been so great, we have gone overboard in generosity with tipping, but a guaranteed 18% on some of the worst service we have seen is inexcusable. In all honesty, we have received better service at Burgerfi every visit versus this visit. I apologize for the in depth long review, but I felt this is a must know to anyone thinking of going. If you are staying at the hotel, please walk to some of the other character dining establishments at the true Disney Resorts, for the same price, you will get much better food and WAY better service. Total bill $129.46 for 2...

Lisa P.

Yelp
I attended a character breakfast here with a professional organization I'm a part of during a conference at the Dolphin hotel. The breakfast buffet was over $30 with the group, and we only saw one character (Pluto) the entire 2 hours we were there. The food was okay - good pastries and an omelette station, but not worth the price. If I had gone with kids and expected a Disney character breakfast, I would have been sorely disappointed.

Iliana K.

Yelp
This was the main eatery in our hotel. We went for breakfast one morning. It's a lovely eatery, with a grand tree in the center. They do a character breakfast on the weekends. They seem to push the buffet at $22 for the adults $14 for children. The buffet has everything on it, From eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, fresh fruit, fresh squeesed juices, and pastries. There was yogurt and grits too. I was not impressed though. The temperatures were off. I went to get myself the yogurt and found that the bowl that contained it was not iced. That's a NOPE. The eggs were scrambled but too runny. The bacon was cooked well, but limp, no crispness to it at all. The potatoes were oily. It left my stomach turned. The only thing good were the pastries and coffee.

Susan P.

Yelp
We went to this place because we wanted or you can eat crab legs. I called to make a reservation and confirm that they still had the crab legs. We got there and sat down and guess what, no crab legs. Apparently they don't do that at this restaurant anymore. The guy was super nice about it but what can you do? We were already there so I just picked a couple things off the buffet but I wasn't really interested in any of it. The manager was exceedingly nice and the server was OK. It's typical Disney so they had characters running around and everything was clean, the food was OK but it wasn't great and nothing was outstanding. It was certainly. overpriced for what you get. If it had included the crab legs and it would've been marginally acceptable price but for just a regular buffet which had over cooked food on it it was ridiculous. The manager promised to fix the bill because I wasn't interested in anything except crab legs and of course that's what they didn't have. After that he disappeared and when our check came to the table everything was still on it. We waited for a few minutes to try to find that manager but he never reappeared so we gave up and just paid it. I did send an email to Disney about it and after they first told me it wasn't their responsibility because they rent out the space to a restaurant, but eventually forwarded my comments to that manager who was there and he definitely worked hard to make it right I did send an email to Disney about it and after they first told me it wasn't their responsibility because they rent out the space to a restaurant, but eventually forwarded my comments to that manager who was there and he definitely worked hard to make it right. So the moral here is that the manager was great, his attitude was perfect, the place was physically nice but the food was just so-so although they did have these cool little desserts in these tiny little mason jars that were pretty nice.... I can see how it would be a popular place for families at Disney. Sidenote this is inside the property resort so you have to use special parking or use the valet.

Anna W.

Yelp
Very pricey for non quality food. Eggs were instant and the rest of the food seemed to be microwaved. Not to mention a small glass of juice was $4 with no refills. Would be nice to know the price of drinks and that there's no refills on the menu.

Howard H.

Yelp
The Garden Grove is a well managed restaurant at the smaller Swan Hotel. They have abundant staff to provide excellent service. My favorite servers are Marcy, Alexis and Dawn. Mohammed is quiet, but is a solid server. Tatiana, from Brazil, is a great hostess to greet you. The omelette bar is excellent. They set up 2 on weekends when it's busy. They have a selection of bagels, croissants, fruit and smoothies. The pancakes and French toast are best when they first come out so they're fresher. The coffee is very good and they'll bring you a pot for the table. OJ is fresh. They will toast your bagels on request. They carry both oatmeal and grits. You're main problem will be wanting to overeat!

Nicolle P.

Yelp
For the price of the buffet the food wasn't very good. The lobster was very well done and tough to eat. Dessert was okay but nothing mind blowing. I suppose it is worth it if you eat a lot of soup and side dishes. The Manhattan clam chowder was amazing but that is about all that stuck out to me. Service was insanely slow which didn't make sense because we were one of two parties in the whole restaurant. Drinks would take 5-10 minutes to get to our table after ordering. Although the scenery was nice, not sure if it's worth it to go again due to the price.

Diane M.

Yelp
Our party of nine showed up for lunch at 12:30 on a Wednesday and waited about 15 minutes to be seated. When we were walked to our table, I was surprised to find the restaurant completely empty. Not one other table of diners in the whole place. We were a little worried that this was a bad sign, but Kimonos was closed for a private event and Il Mulino did not open til 5 PM, so we stayed. We had a bit of a language barrier with our waiter, but he slowly took our drink order and returned with mostly the correct beverages after about 15 minutes. After we got that straightened out, he took our food order. This took awhile. The ESL issue proved difficult when anyone had a question or wanted to make a substitution to their entrée, but we powered through it. Even though the restaurant was devoid of other patrons, our food took over 40 minutes to come out and was mediocre once it did. My Cobb salad had chewy bacon and rubber chicken that lacked any seasoning. Unimpressed.

Jean M.

Yelp
We never went for the breakfast here, but went twice for the Seafood Buffet. It is on offered on Friday and Saturday nights. Crab legs...all you can eat! Need I say more? Everyone gets 1 half lobster tail with a delicious stuffing, nice treat. The corn on the cob is in a delicious buttery liquid...awesome. The mashed potatoes were the best mashed potatoes I have ever had out. Seasoned to perfection, creamy, buttery, perfect. They bring every table a bowl with fried shrimp, calamari and hush puppies. Yum. The Caesar salad with Parmesan crisps was fantastic as well. The characters (which my husband and I couldn't care less about) made their way around all the tables, taking pictures with, interacting with and even dancing with the guests. Let me say...the desert selection is equal to any fine dining experience. Everything was exquisitely presented and tasted beyond fabulous. Hats off to the chef!

Josie G.

Yelp
This is one of the most terrible restaurants that I have ever been to we were five people at the table and everybody thought their food was awful I asked for the lobster club sandwich tasteless mainly bread and to boot expensive. Do not go to this restaurant the food is horrible even the coffee. The one thing I did like was the pretzel bread that they put for free on the table and everything else should've been for free and I still would not have eaten it. Baaaddd.

Sophia P.

Yelp
Some guests in my party were worried about coming to Garden Grove due to the reviews on this app. I'm glad we came! The buffet was excellent and the platter that is provided in the beginning of your meal was excellent, though the biscuits seemed to be dry. The desserts were delicious and I recommend the s'more tart! I am glad we came as our first dinner on our trip to Walt Disney World! Great service and the characters were very nice.

Nikki S.

Yelp
The word that perfectly sums up this restaurant is "crickets". It was very quiet in there being that there was a very small amount of people dining for lunch and their menu was very, very small on offerings. It is housed in a large space that is open and airy but the decor screams 80s as does the rest of the hotel(s). My server was excellent and I chose the pulled pork sliders being 1 of the 10 things on the menu. The sliders were good. I travel to The Disney area a lot and give this place a so-so. Hopefully Sheraton can give both the Dolphin and Swan a makeover to include Garden.

Khondker I.

Yelp
Great please to eat with friends and family. Buffet dinner, lot of seafood to choose from. They have lot of other variety of foods. Great service. Casual dining. Easy to get reservations. Price is reasonable.

Tony T.

Yelp
I am always the type of person that service is just as important as food. The food was good but service was subpar. I don't complain about temperature because I enjoy cold, but I have to say it was FREEZING. I had chocolate chip pancakes and they were good. Service took a while. Also a complaint about drinks. If you get a milk to get a refill you have to pay $3.50 each glass and the glasses aren't huge. I ended up spending $10.50 on milk which is crazy! Also it took 20 minutes to get my drink. A quick breakfast turned into an almost 2 hour experience! not the best!

Lisa W.

Yelp
We were staying at the Dolphin and woke up to a rainy day. We decided to try the character breakfast and we weren't disappointed. The characters came around to each table, took pictures and signed autographs with everyone. While we were there, it was Chip, Dale, Goofy and Pluto. The breakfast buffet had specialty juices, omelette station, French toast, breakfast meats, potatoes, grits, oatmeal (and toppings), baked goods, cereals, etc. Our family especially enjoyed the lower buffet for the kids complete with Mickey waffles. Is the breakfast pricey? Yes, but you are at a hotel on Disney property with characters, so I felt that it was good. Our server was great.

Asia A.

Yelp
Great service. Not the best seafood. Excellent character interactions. Soda, beer and wine. Opened buffet. Good deserts

Jordon B.

Yelp
Really? Came here for the characters, only Pluto. The menu is tiny and expensive. Decided to abort and just get the kids a very lame $18 Pizza. Service was good. Very friendly. Strange dessert choices for kids

Greg V.

Yelp
We tried this place on a whim and were quite impressed! This Disney restaurant is located in the Swan Hotel and is the quietest character dining experience we have ever seen! Pluto and Goofy were in residence and spent a LOT OF TIME WITH THE KIDS . If you are looking for a soup, dessert, and salad buffet- here it is! If you are looking for moderately priced entrees coupled with a salad bar that will fill you up and necessitate using a 'to go' container - here it is! If you are looking for the best peach Sangria in town - you found it!! If you are looking for BBQ spare ribs, go down the street because this awesome restaurant doesn't serve them... yet. With this said however. The Garden Grove does offer a seafood buffet twice per week so if you come back for the seafood or any time for that matter... I predict that you will be quite pleased.

Dylan H.

Yelp
What a sad disappointment. Started with expecting Disney characters only to find out that was only on the weekends. We then ordered $26 buffets and received an old coffee off of a dirty table and then even worse an old warm creamer off another. Disgusting to say the least. We politely asked for new coffee/cream and received the eye roll. The food was average at best. 1 star was for convenience, being we were staying at the resort... would not go back. I'm sure there are better options.

Paul M.

Yelp
This review is for the Character Dinner at Garden Grove. The pricing for this dinner is different than other character dinners where you have a set price. Here you choose an entree from 4 choices ranging from $29 to $36 and get unlimited salad and dessert bar during dinner. Kids meals are a set $19. I was surprised to see Organic Roasted chicken on the menu and my wife was happy to order that. I had the blackened salmon. Both entrees were surprisingly pretty good. The salmon was not overcooked and was very tasty with the blackening. The chicken was also juicy and delicious. The salad bar is pretty sad when it comes to choices - a couple of greens choices, onions, and tomatoes. What makes it interesting is their selection of pickled items - cauliflower, beans, cukes, even brussel sprouts. I actually managed to make a pretty decent salad with these choices. The chop it or toss it station is a joke though. The chef uses the same dirty bowls to toss everyone's salad. I hope no one with nut allergies eats there... The Character portion of the Dining is just OK. There are 2 characters - Goofy & Pluto. To their credit they give ample time with each table for autographs and infinite photos. However I would have liked to have seen more characters. The venue is very old and could use a big refresh. The servers were pretty good though, pleasant and prompt. Overall this character Dinner is just OK vs other ones I have been to. It is definitely cheaper, we spent less money here than the prior night at Germany's Biergarden and we thought the food at Garden Grove was better. I would probably suggest a Character Breakfast here rather than dinner.

Yelp
My family and I dined here for breakfast four of the five mornings during our stay at the Swan during Christmas week. We primarily came here because it was convenient and as a Platinum guest we had free continental breakfast vouchers for two of the four of us. These have a $17 value for each meal and easily upgraded to the full buffet for $6 during the week and $8 on the weekend. Yeah it costs more on the weekends here to pay for Goofy to come by and say hi. I'd prefer to skip the characters and save the money but we stayed and got a hug from Goofy anyway. The kids all like it though. My favorites on the buffet are the Mickey waffles available on the little kids section and all the bacon and sausage you can eat. Mmmm meat. My wife enjoyed their oatmeal bar putting all sorts of goodies in her gruel. My daughter tried all their varieties of smoothies while I stayed more mainstream with their berry concoction. Service was generally quite good although the folks on the hostess stand could be more friendly and helpful. Our favorite servers were Ryan and Shirley who both took real good care of us.

Yelp
When something really sucks the place has to be called out. It began with the 4 of us having to wait to be seated for about 15-20 minutes which isn't a big deal normally but the place was not busy on a Sunday morning. So they basically just made us wait. Then you are seated. The server then comes by fills your cups with coffee and juice and asks what will you have. If you say buffet then great if not and just want a breakfast entree they tell you - well since you have coffee and juice get the buffet its now the same price. Not a bitch just a fact... Ok so now we are all having the buffet $25. So what do you get. Well not much- as almost all the food trays were empty AND STAYED EMPTY !!! It wasn't as if locusts cleared the place out and they needed to be replenished - NOPE they just hadn't been filled and for the entire time we were there. And the food that was left mostly inedible. Biscuits and Sausage gravy with biscuits so hard you could not bite them. Waffles dried out and hard. Grits soup - grossssss. Oh see the pictures I took to show you how gross. But as awful as this was wait there's more. The worst part the omelet station. I had never seen anything like it before. The first omelet the omelet maker made was made in 3 heaping ladles of butter. It was obvious that the omelet woman didn't want to have to work to clean the pans so it was easier to butter them up as the eggy mess just slides out. Being disgusted with this - IT GET HORRIFYING FROM HERE. We next asked for another omelet but suggested using pam because so much butter was used in the last one. The omelet woman then sprayed an enormous - I mean enormous amount of pam on the pan figure 10-15 seconds straight.. Then she dumps the egg mixture into the pan. I guarantee you cannot guess what she did next.... She starts to make the omelet and then sprays the omelet directly on one side 10 -15 seconds in pam. She flips it and sprays it again till coated. It was more pam spray then egg. Gross. My buddy then told the omelet lady to throw it away and make it the right way as he said because this one would induce vomiting if eaten or a good on straight poisoning. She corrected and threw it away. To me just fire her. This was a person not capable of doing this job or does not care. She eventually will make someone ill or worse. If your reading this disney go have an omelet using pam and be prepared to be grossed out on a level not seen before in open kitchen space. We then sat and ate what we could and one guy tells the waiter he's not eating this slop and the waiter said no problem taking off all but the coffee and juice off the bill. The waiter probably has to do this everyday! Lastly its a character breakfast. And not for nothing I have seen cleaner looking characters walking times square in NYC. I mean dirty cookie monster panhandling on 42nd street for a picture in his nappy matted suit looks the same as these filthy matted disney characters. Clean the costumes dummies they look GROSS, See the pictures I enclosed for verification. Disney change out this restaurant Walt would be ashamed!

Yelp
I have a bias against expensive restaurants, and that counts for Garden Grove, hence the low rating. But then, this is Disney, and everything is overpriced here, so what do ya do? Unlike California's Disneyland, you can't just walk across the street and eat at Denny's. The food was pretty good, though. We got filled up, so that was good. Entertainment was provided by Goofy and Pluto; Goofy kept getting on one knee and proposing to the ladies (finally, my wife had her chance at a real tall-dark-and-handsome, but she'd say she's already married to a goofy). The inside kinda looks and feels like the Garden Court, a high-end restaurant inside the Palace Hotel in San Francisco. Good if you have a lot of excess cash to blow, but I recommend you meet and greet the characters elsewhere, and leave the resort and eat at a better-priced restaurant.

Yelp
Dinner buffet is underwhelming at best. Only reason to come here is because you've just come off a flight and want your kids to see Pluto and Goofy.

Yelp
Nope..no and nope. This isn't Disney quality, it's sub pair, dirty and half cooked prison food. The only saving grace is you can get a photo with Pluto, who probably just ate better food than you did on his lunch break. Tourist traps on idrive, have better food than this place and cost less. Skip this one folks.

Yelp
I have never waited this long for a server in a resort before. I was waiting for almost 20 minutes after being seated to have someone come to my table. There were a total of two tables that were eating when I got here so they werent busy. Then two tables came in after me. Both got served before me. I tried getting the attention of multiple staff members but they would make eye contact and then go back to talking. I was really frustrated. Maybe it was because I was by myself but this was seriously lacking in service.

Yelp
They have The best seafood buffet I have ever been it. All you can eat crab legs fish shrimp for only $16.95. They have a whole dessert bar and with awesome offerings. Larissa our server was the bees knees. She was courteous, Quick, and pleasant. She answered all their questions and help us out when we didn't know what to ask. If I were her boss I would give her a raise. Thanks for the great service

Yelp
I guess the blond hostess thought my daughter and I didn't have to eat today. She completely skipped our names and let everyone after us eat before us. And all I got was a skimpy "sorry". I just left. Way better places to eat anyways.

Yelp
This was amazing. A restaurant in a Disney resort with 17 dollar hamburgers that taste like microwaved frozen meals at a budget airport! I wish I would have looked here before deciding to go there for lunch. Oddly enough, of all the restaurants in the Swan, this is the only one open for lunch!

Yelp
Very disappointing. Brought our granddaughter mainly because of the Disney character theme...there were only two. The temperature of all the hot food that I tried was cold. Service was average, and most of the staff was less than friendly or helpful. The most satisfactory food was dessert. Overpriced at $39 a person. Would not recommend this restaurant.
