Garden Hotel Reinhart KG

Zero regrets about choosing this hotel for our stay. Located within walking distance of Chiemsee, it’s the perfect choice for a calm and comfortable getaway. Our rooms were spotless, likely freshly renovated. They even provide amenities and slippers — a rare find in hotels these days! One slightly odd thing I noticed was that they offered shampoo in the shower but no shower gel 😂 Still, that’s much better than those all-in-one shampoo-and-body-wash combos. It wasn’t a big deal for me, as I always bring my own anyway. The service was impeccable, and check-in was smooth. There are a few parking spaces available for guests on the hotel grounds. The lobby has a slightly old-fashioned charm but is very well maintained. There’s even a small bar tucked in the corner. What caught my eye were the showcases highlighting local goods and information about nearby shops, a thoughtful way to support the community. Breakfast was simplicity executed to perfection. We could tell that they used high quality local produce even for the most simple dish. What really won me over was the wide selection of teas. I can hardly praise them enough; this hotel has rekindled the feeling of staying in a genuinely warm and welcoming place, one that showcases the true beauty of local produce. The attention to detail ties the whole experience together. Also saw that they’re constructing something new, an expansion of some sort. Don’t be turned off though. As a very light sleeper, I heard absolutely nothing from the room nor the restaurant. I’d 100% stay here again and recommend it to others.

We got the last room on 16 July & it was a suite with a great balcony! The dinner at the restaurant was superb as was breakfast! Super friendly and would love to go back to explore more & enjoy the Spa. Amazing!

The Garden Hotel Reinhart has more than earned its classification. Discovered it while passing through. Excellent lakeside location. Highly trained staff, well-maintained property, beautiful rooms, and a solid wellness area. You feel completely comfortable. The chef is skilled at his craft. Not to mention, an exceptional breakfast. Definitely worth it.

We visited this Restaurant during a journey through Oberbayern. The Hotel is big and the interior is traditional. Everything is well maintained and the rooms are not too big but also not small. The garden is really nice. The staff is mostly friendly and efficient. The breakfast was good and included a lot of varieties.

Very charming with an “Old Bavarian” style in Decor, food, rooms. ||Good| Breakfast was nice but mostly standard German cold meats, cheese, bread and fruit. average size comfortable room - clean, quiet. | Staff was friendly and helpful.| Great Sauna and pool for a small hotel.| Good location - can walk to Chiemsee.||Notes| The staff spoke almost no English - I managed with my rudimentary German. Free parking but not many spaces - I got the last one. Wi-Fi available but hard to connect to.||Overall - good value, charming, pleasant place to stay.

We LOVED everything about this place. After one month of travel, staying in many different hotels, I can say this was my favourite. The hotel is very comfortable and clean, located right on the lake, in a lovely garden. The reception and restaurant staff are outstanding, warm and helpful. We had a wonderful dinner in the restaurant and the buffet breakfast is perfect. Our room overlooked the car park, which was ok, but I suspect the garden rooms are lovely. When the reception staff tried to book a taxi to the train for us on the weekend, they discovered none were available. So, one of the restaurant staff drove us there in his own car! So lovely. The saunas (3 different types!) and indoor pool are also fantastic.

This is an elegant, family-run hotel with a truly notable restaurant in view of the Chiemsee. It is directly across the street from an indoor pool-park, which offers a guarantee of fun even in inclement weather. The hotel also has its own heated indoor pool and offers spa treatments that we did not sample.||||Our room was spacious and had a balcony overlooking a lovely rosegarden, with a view of the lake partially obscured by neighboring buildings.||||Service was thoughtful and attentive. The food was incredible.

We had a good sized bedroom and bathroom with a large balcony. The choice of food at breakfast was very good, with meats, cheeses, home-made cake, fruits and scrambled eggs to order. Dinner was excellent with some great vegetarian options - soft gnocchi, braised cauliflower, pfifferlinge mushroom dishes. It was nice to have an indoor swimming pool. The restaurant closes on Sunday but the staff recommended a good alternative one and organised a taxi for us. Would definitely staff again.
