"Anyone with even a passing interest in geology or photography, or just knockout natural splendor in general, might find themselves speechless at the sight of Garden of the Gods. Two tips: Aim to visit the lofty sandstone formations on a weekday morning to avoid the crowds, and take the Siamese Twins loop for a view of snowy Pikes Peak (the inspiration for 'America the Beautiful') set in a frame of red rocks." - Anne Olivia Bauso Anne Olivia Bauso Anne Olivia Bauso is a travel writer and hotel expert based in New York City. I came here all of the time in college. it is amazing. Insane that it’s completely free. Ample parking. So much wild life and you’ll even see rock climbers as you walk through the park. Easy trails and difficult trails, so you can have your pick. It’s super well maintained, even have some built in stairs on some of the trails. People hike these trails with children and pets all of the time. I highly recommend if you are in the area, it’s part of what makes Colorado so beautiful!

I hiked the top rated trail on alltrails, which covers the most popular area of the park and then extends to some other areas as well. I found it to be a solid, easy trail, with lots to see, but nothing whatsoever "to do." Great conditions + a number of cool rock formations and a few very pretty landscape views earn it a four from me. But with nothing exciting about the actual hiking, and no true "wows" view-wise, 4 is as high as I can go.

Garden of the Gods is one of those places that honestly feels unreal—towering red rock formations, wide open blue skies, and views that stop you in your tracks. It’s like nature showing off a little. But what really took it to the next level was the Segway tour. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it turned out to be one of the best ways to explore the park. Gliding through the trails with the breeze in your face, getting up close to the rock formations without the long hikes—it was fun, effortless, and surprisingly peaceful. The guides were super knowledgeable, laid-back, and made the whole experience feel like a mix of adventure and storytelling.

Unbelievable this park is completely free. Quick 7-mile loop around the park, but also a lot of walking trails. Highly recommend stopping in at the visitor center for all the information and recommendations you may need there's also a lot of great exhibits, a gift shop, and a restaurant. Great views of the park from the second-floor balcony. Balanced rock was probably the highlight of the park.

Pretty neat albeit small park area for driving, walking and hiking. It's right in the middle of houses with a great view all around. Be mindful of your steps and litter to keep the place beautiful.

What a beautiful & free park. We went at sunset. Easy paved trails. The birds & bats flying into the cracks & holes in the rock were neat to watch. We saw a deer & spoke with a ranger. She was very informative. Beautiful park.

A must see if you’re in Colorado Spring area. Nature at its best! If you’re driving then don’t just stick to the inner loop but drive out to the outer loop as well. We didn’t make time for the Nature Center but we should have as it has many interesting, interactive, fun and educational exhibits. Best part, it’s free!
