Google
This shop truly exceeded my expectations....Google photos did not do it justice. Highly recommend from houseplants folk to gardeners! They have all of the supplies you can think of and some. Amazing experience with some exceptional plants!

Google
Holy cow, this place is AMAZING!! They have so many plants that I’ve never seen in person, their selection is top tier, their plants are well cared for and their staff is so knowledgeable. We live about 20 minutes north and it is well worth the drive if you’re looking for top quality plants that are very reasonably priced. I saw they have some kind of a warranty on their plants, not sure if it’s on all plants, but it definitely brought some comfort. My partner and I purchased a “living stone” succulent and a “string of frogs,” they’re so cute! You absolutely must come here if you love plants or if you’re just getting in to plants as their staff can help you find the perfect fit. As a heads up, if you have an allergy to bees they do keep beehives on premises at the front of the site, they’re out of the way of any shopping but just wanted to give a notice. 10/10 would recommend, will be coming here for all of my plant needs!

Google
I look forward to visiting and shopping at Garden Supply Company. Staff is very knowledgeable and very helpful always. I bring my Welsh Terrier Evie along with me and we walk around the trees, shrubs, perennials and inside ! There’s always something to discover every season. Fantastic selection and I can’t think of a bad experience here , it’s always a good place to shop!

Google
Wide variety of plants and gardening supplies. They have bulk products like mulch and dirt as well. The employees are super friendly. Some items are fairly priced. If you are a little more in the expensive side, but overall a great place to shop! Local honey and bee keeping supplies available. They also have a rewards program.

Google
I have to be dragged out of this place, it’s amazing. So much variety, affordable, and great service. We first went because they had live ladybugs, and I absolutely fell in love with the whole shop.

Google
I have been here twice (and I don't live in the area). This should tell you that I enjoyed it so much my first visit that I had to return on my second one. This place is fantastic!! They carry everything you need for gardening, bee keeping, and lovely decor items. I was impressed with their large variety of seeds and bulbs. I wish I lived closer as I would frequent it more. Even if you don't need anything in particular, it's a wonderful place to walk around and take in all the beauty that's offered in their large plant selection.

Google
Very special thanks to Antonio, Gustavo and crew for an amazing job replacing my messy cypress chip paths and plastic edging with flagstone and new metal edging. The end product far exceeded my expectations which were high. Thanks also to Alana for her patience helping me figure out materials and her hand selecting beautiful stone. I'm excited to show off the new paths to neighbors, friends, and fellow JCRA volunteers. Thanks again!

Google
Beautiful nursery with great selection, especially of perennials. Customer service is friendly and efficient. Also love their gift shop, especially at Christmas!

Yelp
First visit and it was a nice surprise to see what they had to offer. They came highly recommended thru a local Facebook group when I said I was seeking local honey in glass jars. I found the honey, and was very tempted at a lot of the many other items I saw there. A little steep for my budget at present but I'll definitely be back again!!

Yelp
Keith, owner of GSC helped my family get started with bees. Was extremely knowledgeable, friendly. Showed us what to buy and went out of his way to make sure we were happy. Love the family and everyone that works there. 5 stars - will definitely be back. Thank you !!!!!

Yelp
I've been coming here off and on for many years. Today I came here to find a Japanese maple that one of our construction crews broke in half. We're having to replace it. When I walked in the check out line where a little backed up. But Jason saw me and walked right up to me and ask if he could help me out. Jason another garden expert. Identified the type of Japanese maple I brought with me. And highly informed me on all the different types. They identified it and took me and showed me the different sizes. I highly recommend this place. They are extremely knowledgeable on different types of plants and how to take care of them.

Yelp
TLDR: Large, organized selection of healthy reasonably priced plants and supplies. They also sell local products, beekeeping supplies, pots, fountains, tools, outdoor furniture, and gardening supplies. Not sure how it took me so long to visit Garden Supply in Cary. I am glad I made the journey over. The store is packed with products. It's hard to decide which way to walk first as there are plants and supplies everywhere. Surprisingly though everything is organized. It was easy to find what I was looking for. I did get a little turned around inside and ended up walking backwards through the checkout line. Nonetheless, I found what I needed and more. The plants look healthier than those seen at department and home improvement stores. The plants are pricier than those at home improvement stores, but cheaper than those at other specialty garden stores in the area. Garden Supply is a beautiful one-stop shop for your gardening needs. I enjoyed admiring the landscaping and waterfalls. They have an indoor and outdoor area. Labels clearly mark species, prices, and care. Plus the employees are helpful. I purchased some pots and a bonsai tree. When checking out I was invited to join their bonsai mailing list. The person who runs it sends out a helpful newsletter on caring for bonsai tree and hosting events. Overall, I had a positive experience here and recommend this shop to others!

Yelp
Cary Garden Supply has the best selection of plants in the triangle. They also have the best staff. Suzie was very helpful and extremely knowledgeable, giving me excellent advice on my recent backyard project! I highly recommend shopping with them!

Shelby D.

Yelp
Such a cozy, well stocked store! Great variety on houseplants with reasonable prices.

Noelle H.

Yelp
This garden has almost all kinds of flowers and plants in the world. The service by gardener susie is the best ive ever had. Her knowledge of plants and shrubs is incredible. She is my go to gardener every time i come. GS also has a good selection of large, potted plants outdoors. There are succulents, cacti and some combination plants designed by their designers. I think you should visit here even if you don't buy anything, you will love it. Susie knows tons about pruning and also choosing the right plants if u are having deer and rabbit issues. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Up until today, I've had a good experience with this store. In the couple of months I've been a customer there. Very few stores sell bonsai materials and I appreciate that the garden supply company does. Today I needed to return a bag of lava rock and a bag of perlite. The perlite was not the same granular size as the bag I bought the week before, as I had to get a different brand because the brand I bought before was not on the shelf. I also bought a bag of lava rock which you cannot see through in order to judge the size of the lava rock granules. But seeing as how they were next to the bonsai soil mix on the shelf, I assume they were adequate for using and bonsai soil mix... I took the bag to my car opened it up realize that they were about 10 or 15 times larger. So in other words, they are purely decorative. The thing that disenchanted me was when I went to return these items they told me they don't normally return open items even if they are unused. I would've hoped that the lava rock which was next to the bonsai soil mix on the shelf was adequate for use in bonsai soil. I asked for a cash refund, as I had paid debit and wanted to use some of that refund to purchase additional supplies, but was informed they do not do cash refunds. All of this time, I felt as though I was being talked to in such a demeaning and demoralizing way, I've never dealt with these two cashiers before but I do not think they liked me.. The week prior I was charged $35 for a $15 bag of pumice. I came back the next day, and they kindly refunded me in cash without me even asking. Like I said, up until today, I've had a good experience at this store. The employees are usually very helpful and kind. That's all anybody wants is for people to be nice to them. It's such a simple thing.. I'm not sure if I'll go back to this store, which makes me super sad honestly, because I need bonsai materials regularly. And I really enjoyed the other staff there.

Yelp
Big landscape store with copious selection. Retail prices are a little high, but the clientele expects this. Great service from knowledgeable employees. They have an excellent bonsai section, which is rare to see a general garden store.

Yelp
1-Stop Shop. This place was so much more than I was expecting. It's like a cross between a nursery where you can find that perfect bush tree, ground cover, or flowers and a Lowes where you might pick up xmas decorations, bird houses, pots, wind chimes, seed, soil, etc. There's even a pizza oven down one side. Suzie helped us to find a cute indoor plant--some kind of spotted green thing my wife liked, and I was kind of mesmorized by the gnomes down another aisle. The people here are friendly and better yet, know their trade. It's why I always prefer a nursery to Lowe's or Home Depot for anything but the most basic item. It's a chance to try new things and learn how to correct garden experiments gone wrong at home. We'll be back for sure! They're dog friendly too!

Yelp
Very bad customer experience! Tried to use their coupon for "35% off any one plant or item" to buy a bag of soil conditioner, along with another bag at full price. The bag were about $7 each. Coupon date was valid and the only limit was "Excludes grass seed." Checkout person said it's not good for conditioner. I argued, but on ringing up purchase, clerk said it didn't work. No effort was made to consult with manager or try to help me. It would have saved me about $2 total. Later in the day, I saw the same size conditioner for more than $1 less per bag at Tru-Value hardware. So even with the coupon I would have saved at Tru-Value. And Garden Supply did NOT honor a valid coupon or try to help me.

Yelp
I just moved to Cary and had been dying to check this place out and buy some new plants for my apartment. It's in an absolutely gorgeous location set back in the woods. The first thing I noticed was how healthy all the plants look. Everything looked to be thriving and bright green, flowers blooming. The indoor plants looked just as happy. Inside, they've got many low light houseplants and some carnivorous plants as well. The right side of the store has lots of crafts and decorations for sale. I found the plant prices a bit high so I only ended up purchasing a new monstera but I'll definitely be back after I do some more research to see which plants will do best in my living situation. Overall, the place is awesome and just a fun spot to hang out and look at all the pretty plants.

Yelp
Great place to buy plants. The workers are really knowledgeable and helpful. I always have a fun time exploring here

Yelp
Love this place. The workers are extremely helpful and can help answer your questions. The prices can be expensive at times but they have deals and coupons.

Yelp
This is a very beautiful nursery. It's nice to spend an hour or so wandering around looking at all the flowers, plants, and gifts. I loved all the chicken coop and honeybee supplies. We are thinking of building a coop and we'll definitely be back for some supplies and chicks! The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were looking for a particular plant and someone led us to the plant. It's a little on the expensive range, but a very nice facility.

Yelp
We used Cary Garden Supply for their design services, plants, and installation for our back yard and front yard. Overall the experience has left us feeling we made a mistake, an expensive mistake. The design was basic and could have been better, such as plants that like morning sun and afternoon shade are getting all day sun and not doing well. We had to ask them to move some plant placements to give them better visual impact. Which is what we thought they were supposed to be good at, hence the design services. The plant choices were basic and repetitive, a lot were just the ones we said we liked when answering their questions about what we like, then a lot of the same one-two they picked. Why then are we using a service? Follow up has been non-existent, the first question was answered within a few days using their email, as they require, but the rest have gone unanswered. Wish we had gone with out other consideration, the nursery off Holly Springs Rd.

Yelp
I absolutely love this place! The staff is always so friendly and ready to address any questions or concerns. I love that everything is a teachable moment - leaving you feeling empowered for those that are new plant parents. I have gone there to purchase plants as well as have them repot them for me. For a small fee (if you bring your own pot) they will repot your plant. If you purchase the pot from them, the repotting is free. Its a great feeling to see someone care for your plant just as much as you do and updating you on the best care needed to keep with a healthy plant. I have been here various time during the year and the plants are always very well kept and healthy. The pricing is very reasonable for what you are receiving. They do offer other stuff like honey, sweet treats, and more. If you have time, just stop by you will enjoy it - I promise :)

Yelp
We Purchased 3 very expensive Oliver Tree last summer - Policy States that trees were under warranty for one year In the fall they started to die out - we called them and took photographs - the employee did verity that they will replace the trees waiting for the spring We just called to ask for replacement - only to be told the trees are NOT warrantied I would highly recommend not purchasing from them - they do not back their products nor their word /policy

Yelp
I've been in a few times, twice I only asked questions and didn't buy anything. Most recently I went back to buy 4 windmill palm trees, and pay for delivery and installation. Everyone I've interacted with from Garden Supply Company has been extremely nice and helpful. When I went in to ask questions about the windmill palms, I explained that I know nothing about plants and was just doing research. The salesperson was still extremely helpful even though I said I wasn't going to buy anything that day. She also discouraged me from buying a more expensive version, and I really appreciate that she didn't try to upsell me. For delivery/install, they called to schedule ahead of time and then they called again to let me know when they were on the way. They were professional, friendly and installed the 4 trees in 40 minutes. Garden Supply has won my future business, and I highly recommend them. *They can be very busy on a nice weekend day, and it can be harder to find a free salesperson. You can always go to the register and explain what you need help with and they'll radio someone to come help you.

Yelp
My wife and I come here 4-5 times a month. Love plants and gardening, this is the place to go. We also have young kids and they enjoy endeavoring with us. This place is people friendly, kid friendly, and dog friendly. We'll be coming back soon!
google avatar

Mary Z.

Yelp
We drive by this place a lot on Saturdays, and we always see cars parked on the road. Now we know why! The parking lot is relatively small and very crowded on the weekends. We were lucky to see a car pulling out today, so we grabbed the spot. Otherwise, we would've been on the road, too. I wish we had time to check out the beautiful plants in every size and category under the sun. All we wanted was dill, parsley and rosemary, and we easily found them near the building. The checkout line was long, but well marked, and it went quickly. The highlight--we saw a sweet little calico sound asleep behind the counter. I'll never know how she could sleep when her store was so busy, but I admire her for it!

Yelp
Incredible selection of plants and flowers and invaluable help from Tamara! Thank you for a great experience

Yelp
This place is amazing. Ended up here after our first pick nursery was closed on a Sunday (as many things are in the Raleigh-Durham area). But even though this was a little bit further out from her when we live, it was definitely worth the trip. Arriving at this location is quite unassuming as it's just off of the Cary parkway. The entrance is kind of tucked away from behind the foliage of that area. You turn into an unsuspecting driveway only to find a full-on secret garden. That is the garden supply company. There are rows and rows of plants in the outdoor area plus cool garden fixtures and all types of sculptures. T I have zero green thumbs but this set up had even me thinking that maybe I could create a garden. We made sure to find help right away as we were on a mission to create a butterfly garden and had a very specific list of items we were looking for. In hindsight, I would recommend anyone going here to walk with a list because you can become easily overwhelmed with the vast inventory of plants, flowers, garden decor, and the like at this shop. We immediately loaded up our cart with some items from outside, including a milkweed plant and a few zinnias. We headed to the indoor area to find a couple of planters and check out some seeds so we could start sunflowers and some honeydew cuz my daughter was feeling ambitious. Spent under 100 bucks for four boxes of zinnias, a milkweed and two other butterfly friendly plants, two packs of seeds and four pots for our flowers. Definitely a successful trip. We also contemplated picking up some snake repellent but got talked out of it by one of the sales folks there, who let us know that unless you have copperheads, it's really best to leave the regular garden snakes alone as they help keep the more dangerous species away. Look at that. Came for the zinnias, and the ecosystem education was free. Good times. I'll be back.

Yelp
Garden Supply Company is the best! I've been on the hunt for outdoor pots and love the ones I got from here. I also got my last herb, lavender. All of the service was very friendly and helpful. If you are not comfortable with going inside, there is an option for curbside pickup or delivery. I recommend this spot for all of your garden needs.

Yelp
We have made several purchases over the years. Their employees are very knowledgeable about the plants and everyone has been most helpful and patient while I search for new additions to a memorial garden. The liriope is one plant that flourished a little too much. I had to have the landscaper repurpose them, gave some to friends, and put the rest in decorative planters. Very hardy and multiply, lol. The location is ideal and always friendly plus a great selection. I enjoy seeing the cats too! my most recent purchase was some biodegradable organic plant food and camellia that I will have planted in the next week or so. I will update photos soon.

Yelp
How in the world did I not know of this place?? I loooove plants and I thought that I've been to every nursery in the Triangle. I just recently learned of this place from a friend who went here to pick up a plant. I was curious so I trekked here one Sunday afternoon and I'm so happy I did! I have to mention that I visited here in the middle of winter so I did not expect to see so many plants, especially outside. My main focus is indoor plants so that is what I will talk a lot here. Their selection is fabulous. They have their plants grouped by how much light is needed and type(for instance succulents are together, and the fairy plants have their own section). They have huge Philodendrons, schefflera plants, and palms, as well as a some uncommon Hoyas and Aglaonemas. I went there to just look around but I took home a beautiful variegated Aglaonema and returned the next day to buy a Hoya that I couldn't stop thinking about. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I had lots of questions and when they didn't know the answer, they found someone who did. I will definitely include this nursery as one of my favorites in the triangle!

Yelp
This place is something else. I pulled up, hopped out of my car and had a list of exactly what I needed in my head. As soon as I walked on the property I was greeted by an employee and I told them exactly what I needed, and boom we were on the way to where everything was. After she let me know where the things were, she left me to decide what to buy. Checkout was fast and easy, and I had a coupon they let me know I was a few cents short on; I grabbed another item for 0.25¢ and boom, 20.00$ off my purchase. Reliable, helpful, efficient. What more could you want?
google avatar

Rebecca P.

Yelp
Outrageously priced. They indeed have most plants that may be hard to find And in great quality. However, they are just two priced high. For example a dogwood tree 5 gallons anywhere else is $40-$60 per But here it's $100 starting and up. Not a deal. This is very offputting. It pays to compare prices and shop around before buying from here. For better prices and great service try Big Bloomers in Sanford, nc. Can't beat there prices and vvvvaaassstttt selection.

Maryann V.

Yelp
Garden Supply landscapers are the best!!! You pay a little more than Lowe's but their insights are invaluable!! I wouldn't shop anywhere else for plants!!
google avatar

Molly M.

Yelp
I wanted a specific plant for a friend's birthday tomorrow. This place is amazing! They had my plant, repotted it in a cute container and as a bonus, had the perfect card to go with it. I was given instructions as well as advice on where to put it. I'll be going back!
google avatar

Wendy D.

Yelp
My husband and I have been frequenting this place for many years, but my recent experiences this year tops them all- maybe it's the new people!!! Suzie Adams is our go to Gardening Guru now! Please keep her.

Yelp
Of course I've been here several times during COVID but this is my second time buying plants from here. I came to look for a replacement for my prayer plant that is not looking the best (1st pp owner). So I stumbled a upon new plant and something extra since I had two hands. Plants are in top shape and cared for very well. There is even labels on the plants on how to care for them. The staff is very helpful when answering questions and making suggestions for care of the plants. I'm sure I'll stumble upon more plants that beg me to take the home on my next visit. Until then, fingers crossed for trying to care for the calathea.
google avatar

Shannon D.

Yelp
This is my FAVORITE place. They also do delivery and curbside pickup if you don't want to go in, but if you do they're bring VERY cautious about keeping up with all sanitary standards to make everyone safe. Follow them on Instagram @gardensupplyco they post all new updates. They even had little baby chicks for sale not too long ago. Need assistance from a distance, email info @gardensupplyco.com. They have fresh strawberry baskets to bourbon infused honey depending on the day, that's why it's good to follow them on ig to keep up with the updates. They also deliver to your house if you need it which is incredibly useful because I don't have a truck, and dont charge you an arm and a leg for it. They have an amazing selection on whatever you could possibly want in your garden. They deliver, install AND warranty plants. Pick your plants, place your flag, and they deliver it and install it! Why go anywhere else?

Yelp
The closest Triangle establishment to match the many amazing nurseries and nursery-boutiques in the San Francisco Bay Area. I go here with our little girl to get a little of it back. The couple who owns Garden Supply demonstrate impeccable taste; they sell an aesthetic and a connection with nature, not simply plants in pots. Their staff, including the younger members, exhibit presence and an understanding of the operation that is refreshing. Classes are regularly offered, and we love that they are doing their part to foster urban beekeeping. Simply a wonderful place to go, even if you'd rather pick out cushions and framed prints than dig in the dirt.

Jen M.

Yelp
Gave 1 star only because it doesn't let you select 0 stars. This company requires you to pay $265 just to provide an estimate. I have a small project of sod and mulch beds in SMALL front yard. Landscaper Eric came and did a walk thru. Then I waited 3 weeks before I started hounding him multiple times via email to get him to provide the estimate I PAID FOR. When I received the estimate he had missed a large portion of the current project but sure as heck remembered the "way in the future - not for this project" expensive stuff I offhandedly mentioned. Clearly he did not pay attention. Charging for an estimate should have been a red flag, which I missed. So, I guess buyer beware.

Laura C.

Yelp
I needed to fill a new raised garden bed in my backyard. I am a novice gardener. Suzie at Garden Supply was patient and spent time with me in mapping everything out. I appreciated the knowledge that she shared. I love all my new plants and flowers. Thank You Suzie!

Yelp
I feel like I just won a gardening jackpot! I have shopped at the Garden Supply Company many times. I have mostly purchased indoor plants or seasonal items from GSC. I have no knowledge of gardening other than what things I like. I have dreamed about having some landscaping done but lack of knowledge and limited funds kept me from it. I just took the plunge! ‍ After speaking with Keith, I felt at ease and with his suggestions I was ready to schedule a relatively small installation! (Removal of ugly old bushes along the front walk and install new ones) The job was quickly scheduled which is great because it didn't give me time to worry if If I was wasting money. Lol Allen arrived and immediately made me feel totally confident with him. He gave me great advice and I couldn't be happier with the end result! Thank you so much! It feels wonderful to have confidence in the company. I highly recommend Garden supply company! I'm certainly looking forward to future projects.

Hailey M.

Yelp
I went in with my peperomia and Katie helped me so much! She was patient and educational and helped me repot my plant and gave me guidance on what to do next. Will for sure be back here and spread the word! Thank you so much : )

Yelp
Hard to get help today. I have 2 black thumbs, so I was hoping to find a place that would give more help and have more local plants than the big box stores. It's very well stocked and the outside section is labeled clearly. The day I went was nearly empty of both customers and employees. Inside has a nice selection of gifts, seeds, planters, herbs, etc. A woman at check out was nice enough when I told her I needed some advice in the houseplants to try to find me some help through her 2 way radio. 2 other employees came out to help a customer check out and that was the last I saw of anyone. I took note of plants I may look into - all of their plants were labeled clearly with descriptions and prices. Because it's well stocked I'd come back another day and try again.

Yelp
In my opinion, they are the best by far! They have the a large supply of annuals, perennials, organic herbs and veggies, strawberries, veggie and flower seeds, soil conditioners, organic potting soil for veggies, and raised beds plus a whole lot more. They have a house plant selection from the easiest to care for and for that more advanced house plant enthusiast. We just moved here and this is the one place I keep coming back to for all my planting needs. They are also a beekeeper's haven! Everything for that novice beekeeper just starting out to the more advanced beekeeper! You want it they have it or they can get it for you and they have their own supply of honey direct from their local hives! They also have a landscape design team for those special landscape projects. Can you tell I love this place? The customer service is also why I keep coming back! When it's a local business they care about making their customers happy unlike those big box stores.

Eric C.

Yelp
The customer service here has gone downhill. For the second time in my last two visits I have asked for someone to help me outside. Standing around forever, being conspicuously ignored, noone came. Same as last time. Disappointing because I have spent a lot of money here.

Yelp
Extensive selection of indoor/outdoor plants, flowers, planters, vases, fountains, birdhouses, and everything in between! It's fun to just walk around and look! Garden Supply Co is one of the few nurseries that had the plant we were looking for and unlike the nursery in downtown Raleigh (forgot the name, but close to seaboard station) this place had a large selection of the specific plant so I can choose whether I wanted a short or tall one, etc. The service was great--employees were walking around offering help to anyone who had questions. They also give you a frequent customer card so that's cool too. We'll definitely be back when we want to pick up more flowers.

Yelp
Beware of the indoor plant section. I purchased a plant a few months ago which was infested with scale, spider mites, and fungus gnats and although I received a store credit after much back and forth with the management, when I return to review the inventory I found snake plants that were also invested with scale and spider mites. The associate acted as if that was normal routine and continued to sell me plants that were infested with bugs and said that all I needed to do with spray some form of miticide. Although I didn't physically pay for the plants and choose to rehab them and hope that they would get healthy, I was appalled that an associate would even think it would be OK that I would go home with that plant and not even offer some form of discount or take the plant off the floor and not sell it. Needless to say I will never return to this establishment.

OldMan T.

Yelp
Never imagined I would drop an f-bomb at a garden center. I pulled up to load some mulch after paying and showed the receipt. The really tall guy accused us of stealing, and drew us into an argument ("we'll check the cameras"). Maybe he thought we were someone else? It was weird. If they simply give the loaders a receipt copy and track what they load, there would be no need to bully honest customers. The compost looks good, but has a lot of plastic in it. I will be going to Big Bloomers in Sanford in the future.

Yelp
Been in love for 7 years now. And still going strong. When we moved to Cary awhile back, I thought I was going to miss Logan's terribly. However, I quickly discovered Garden Supply Co on Old Apex Rd. Over the years, I've taken our pine tree studded front yard from a barren, hard as nails clay pit, to a more natural garden area that I happen to think is quite lovely. I've used advice from the staff and most of the plants that have thrived have come from GSC shade section (Lenten Roses, Heuchera, Ajuga, Blackberry Lilly, Little Kim Lilac, various hostas, herbs (rosemary, lavender, sage), etc). When it comes to gardening, there is value in learning from those who live & grow in your area. Plants shipped in from growers 5 states away (ie lowes) just don't 'get' our clay, sand, red dirt lifestyle. I think the key is that even though plants may be found cheaper at Lowes and Home Depot, you definitely won't get the selection, advice, ideas, or the education of this local center. Also, the owners seem to do a lot in the community and there are often discounts, coupons, and specials so I think that if you are a smart shopper, you can get very high quality plants and goods here for a reasonable price. Lastly, the owner must also love Christmas- because there is a fantastic opening and display of ornaments, decor, etc starting in November forward. I go every year just to check out the various trees, ideas, and new decorations. And every year, I get at least one new and unique ornament. This year it was a glass Farmall tractor- perfect for a transplanted farm girl living in the city.

Yelp
If you've ever walked into a store wanting nothing in particular, but once inside, wanting one of everything, you'll understand what being in Garden Supply Co is like. It's nice outside and I'm battling the gardening bug. It's still a couple of weeks too early to give in. So to alleviate the symptoms, I went on a quest for inspiration. My first stop was this amazing Garden Supply store. The owners have done an incredible job in creating a place where browsing is an event in itself. The store is near the road, but hidden behind a berm. The driveway curves around some trees and bushes, both part of the surroundings and some available for purchase. The plants, bushes and trees are nicely separated by walking paths that wind through the merchandise. There's garden furniture placed near an outdoor fireplace they've built into the hill along the road. Along the other side of the property there's even a small playground set for the kids while the parents shop. And if that weren't enough, I saw some kids climbing the small trees near the entrance. The greenhouse/store has a huge selection of home and gardening decor for whatever suits your fancy. The tea light candles shaped like chickens and bees and colored beeswax candles caught my eye as did the huge flower pots shaped like feet. Despite the temptations around every corner, I managed to restrain myself enough to leave room in the car, but still succumbed to the gardening bug by picking up a couple of biodegradable pots to go with the flower bushes I have my eye on.

Yelp
A coworker has been telling me I needed to try GSC. We've had multiple work place plant exchanges amongst 4 of us. Combine that with a lovely new fence and my backyard makeover needed a boost. My son and I went on Sunday. It was simply fabulous! As I pulled in to park, the metal sculptures and swaying banana leaves made me feel at home. We wandered along the rows of gorgeous plants trying to decide just what had to go then and what could wait. No easy task. We ended up with a lovely Shrimp plant for the patio, a Gold Dust Aucuba for a shady corner between my largest banana trees and a growing patch of Rice Paper plants. 2 Hostas will start to help fill in a barren shady corner and a jar of local honey rounded out our order. Staff was friendly and helpful, the plants are fantastic and we will be going back for more!

Great selection of plants, soil, and other supplies. Lots of cute hummingbird feeders.

Yelp
These people are amazing! I took a seedling of a Carolina pine that was given to me with my pet's memorial ashes. I needed advice to make sure I gave this meaningful plant a good start. Harry walked me through everything, from choosing the right pot size to care tips, and even planting the seedling for me and my beloved dog Emmett. Wow! Thank you, Harry! ‍
