Gardena Grödnerhof Hotel & Spa

We've stayed at the Hotel Gardena Grodnerhof more than we've stayed at any. other hotel over the past 20 years. We love it. There are many reasons that we love it which include the quaint location, amazing customer focus, excellent food and ambience, and the overall warm connection that the staff has to guests. Most fortunately and importantly, my family and I have spent enough time at the hotel to have formed great friendships with the owners and the staff. And, those relationships keep us coming back 3-4 times per year to experience the unique and special Dolomites, the culture and food of Val Gardena, and the warm and exquisite hospitality of this family-run hotel. It is my favorite place to be other than being in my home. That says it all.

I just wanted to leave a review to congratulate this amazing hotel and staff on making our Christmas stay so so special.|The front of house where exceptional - nothing was too much trouble ( shout out to Simon and Rene in particular as we well as the owners daughter) The restaurant recommendations in the village and areas surrounding were spot on and we had the most magical Christmas Day up in the mountains in a hut. |The area is breathing taking and the people so friendly.|There is lots to do in the hotel if you don't ski from the amazing spa with quiet pool to mountain hiking.||My family and I had the most magical Christmas, one of my best. Also massive thanks to the amazing bar men who looked after us so well while we played cards ( topping up my white wine) and to the lovely gentle man with glasses who looked after us so well in the Grill, which is an excellent place to eat in the hotel.||Thank you for making our trip so special.||Claire, Fidel, Grace (17) and Ted (13) Room 604

The service was excellent, from the moment of our arrival, throughout our stay. The fact you could hire you ski equipment in the hotel and be driven the short distance to the ski lift made everything super easy for the family. The bar hosted evening entertainment, with a superb barman. The Spa is next level ❤️🫶

5 Star Luxury! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ From the moment we walked in and were greeted by name, we felt sincerely welcomed and cared for. The service at this hotel is truly impeccable. Every interaction with the staff was warm, professional, and incredibly prompt with every detail taken care of with genuine warmth and professionalism. The spa was the best we experienced in our stay in Italy, with the variety of saunas, cold plunge, hot tub, pools, zero-gravity beds, and refreshing juices and teas. Absolutely unforgettable. Our room was spotless every day, with 5-star cleanliness and attention to detail. The breakfast bar was a highlight of each morning, offering an impressive variety of fresh, high-quality options that made it hard to choose just one favorite. Everything felt thoughtful, from the presentation to the taste. The entire experience felt effortless from the seamless check-in, to the spotless rooms, and a level of hospitality that made me feel completely cared for. It’s rare to find a place that combines luxury with such sincerity. Also super walkable to multiple cable car stations to incredible views and hundreds of hikes! This hotel exceeded every expectation and truly deserves 5 stars. Highly recommend!

The Gardena Grodnerhof Hotel will always be in our top memorable vacations. The staff are no less than amazing- each and every one of them. The breakfast is absolutely delicious with a beautiful presentation. The servers in the restaurant and lounge are friendly and experienced. The spa is gorgeous! Activities are plentiful and varied each day. We loved that we could walk to town and explore the area. Gardena Grodnerhof is a truly magical resort.

We've traveled widely, and this is one of the best hotels we've stayed in. Everything was outstanding. The location can't be beat, 3 cable cars within a 10 minute walk. It's also very convenient to the city. Each and every staff member we dealt with was terrific. The concierge, Simon, offered invaluable assistance with hiking in the unbelievably beautiful Dolomites. Breakfast was great, many choices, all delicious. The room was comfortable and airy with a great view of Ortisei. And the bar was relaxing place to get a drink and snack after a long hike.

We stayed for 3 nights in the first week of September. The staff were all really nice and helpful. It was great we could check in early and late on both our arrival/departure. ||The food was very good at dinner and you could choose from different menus mixing/matching. We did think the pre salad buffet was lacking though at dinner, unlike and the complete opposite to the breakfast buffet had a huge variety, all fresh and laid out nicely. The cooked breakfast options were lovely too. Service was efficient, didn’t wait long for coffees or plates to be cleared and was easy to get waitresses attention. ||The hotel was extremely clean and had good facilities including the spa. The sauna infusion daily was a nice touch and lots of relaxing seating areas. ||We both had a treatment each, my partner had a deep tissue massage which he said was good. I had a the hotels signature massage and unfortunately it wasn’t very good or that relaxing but more rushed and strange technique. ||The rooms were ok, bathrooms a little bit dated. Clean, comfy bed, good little kitchen area. Can hear noise from corridor and chairs scraping on balconies but nothing major and settled down by 11pm.||Convenient location to walk to various cables for walks and good underground parking.

If I could give this hotel 10 stars I would. The staff are incredibly sweet, welcoming and professional. We spent 6 nights here and were in no hurry to leave. They truly thought of everything from the scent throughout to the decor and eco friendly technology. It was a perfect home base for us to explore Val Gardena. We were fortunate to spend the week in a Seceda room and we will be talking about its perfection for years to come. Thank you to all who make the resort a perfect experience.
