Garden Park has been my favorite park for years. I had my maternity photoshoot here 4 years ago and now I bring my son all the time—it’s his favorite park! He loves the playground, and the whole park feels so peaceful. We enjoy listening to the birds, walking around, and the grassy areas are huge. Perfect for a family picnic and enjoying the greenery.

Google
I love this park. It's not quite the hidden gem anymore as it's busy a lot of the time now. However it's a very nice place for a walk and to get a little fresh air. The landscaping is very nice with thoughtful placement of the trees along the trail to give you nice shade patches. This is a great park for birdwatching as well. In the winter they decorate the park and have a big Christmas tree. The park is kept very clean which is greatly appreciated. I've been coming here for years and it's just a great little spot of green that feels like a little oasis in the city. For amenities there is a community center, lots of benches, BBQs, tennis courts, a skating/hockey area, volleyball, basketball courts. There's a decent sized kids play area as well. Plenty of parking but can get full at peak times like the weekend.

We are always on the look out for parks with playgrounds that have something unique (like the train here) so we can give them fun nicknames. We came here because it had a roller rink and little dude (almost 3) is obsessed with hockey. We had a blast with all the extra kids on a no school day but it’s also nice on mellow days. Decent bathrooms, decent amount of picnic benches, variety of slides and climbing, nice fun colorful train, lots of grass, shade and the sports fields/rinks/courts were great.

Google
Lovely spot for dog walking, with a long paved path surrounding the complex. Blossom trees lining an inner path great for photos. Plenty of spots to lay in the grass and have a picnic lunch. Large center field where kids can run. A large playground and tennis courts. It's shaded most of the year and not very crowded so a nice place to walk your dogs.

Google
Very lovely park within a very nice neighborhood. Lush green grass and lots of trees. This is a very active park. Very responsible dog owners walking their dogs. Not one dog poop left behind. Nice playground for the kiddies.

Google
Great park, lots of friendly people, restrooms, lots of field & recreation facilities

Too dark during evenings/nights in playground area. Please add more light posts in playground area. Perfect in daytime

Google
There is a large playground for kids in excellent new condition . There are no super high drops, even on the older kids structure, which is a relief because smaller kids always go up on these things. The playground is far from the road so even though there’s no fence it feels pretty relaxed and in addition the road is quite . The park itself stretches out much further than the playground in an oval shape. Lots of paths take you through pretty shaped hedges with new and clean picnic tables each with a barbecue and trash bin. Lots of trees to provide shade. Lots of paths provide ample opportunity for scootering or walking your dog. It’s also pretty empty and therefore serene. The grass is green and lush and in general the park is very well maintained and has a very clean look and feel. There is also two tennis courts (which can be reserved in advance) , a basketball court and a rollerblading/roller hockey court!

Yelp
One of the prettiest and safest parks! I've roller skated, had a picnic, and practiced some photography. Theres a lot of seating options. Plus a lot of activity options. If you have kids, this is a great park!

Yelp
I love this park!! I stayed in the strip but had a car and stumbled upon this park on my way back from Red Rock. My dog was happy here! So clean and everyone is very friendly. I returned the next few days I was still in town, worth the drive

Yelp
This park is gorgeous! If you are looking for more serene nature! Their trees are beautiful! Dog friendly, also great playground, cute hills to roll or lay on. The have a community center to check out too. There are benches & plenty of parking.

Yelp
It's a very nice park offering amenities. Every time I'm here walking, there are a lot of people engaged in a variety of activities. Easy to find. Plenty of parking. Scenic views. Public restrooms. Sport courts offered for a variety of activities.

Vegas L.

Yelp
Wow This park has a great playground for kids. Has plenty of open space bike riding, scooters or by ride on toys. I love the Tarp that's played out in the play area. There is huge open space to play catch, football, soccer etc. the basketball court is close for older kids that want to play while younger kids play also. There is a roller skate rink That is closed off and if you bring your hockey hockey stick and puck, it's a safe place. The restroom is center of playground basketball court. There's also a tennis/pickle ball court. The only down fall of this park that's it's ran by Summerlin council and only can be reserved by HOA Summerlin members This is crap and hopefully can change in the future.

Yelp
A very nice well kept park just off the 215. Green grass, play grounds, and mature trees.
google avatar

Yelp
Really nice Summerlin park with many amenities including designated parking lots, big grassy lawn area, playground, picnic tables, bbqs, garbage bins, paved walkway around the perimeter of the park, tennis courts, roller hockey rink, bathrooms, beach volleyball court and community center location.
google avatar

Yelp
This is my favorite park in Vegas and has been for years. I love the little garden area (with water fountains that I wished worked with nicely hedged bushes for added privacy). The trees in the spring and fall are also quite gorgeous. The area around is super nice and safe. Great area to walk your dogs. If you're looking for a longer walk, I recommend walking this park and looping over to the willows park about 1.5 miles away and back. It's a nice, long walk in a safe area.

Yelp
Our favorite local park. Playground, plenty of tables and trees for shade. Roller rink, basketball courts, shuffle board courts, horse shoes...dog friendly, family friendly. My favorite thing to do with the kids when we move somewhere new is scope out our new fave park, and this has been our big go-to so far.

Sara M.

Yelp
Nice park but the trees smell so bad in the garden area. Nice playground for the kids too.
google avatar

Yelp
Gardens Park is great place to stop and just walk around or come and play Bocce Ball which is what we do. This is one of Summerlin's prettiest and largest parks as it offers so much space. Lots of greenery, picnic areas, benches to just relax and read, play a little shuffleboard and like I said play some Bocce Ball. The trees are large and mature and provide an ample amount of shade. A great gathering spot for families to BBQ and I have seen many companies throw their parties here too. So glad I live close to this park as we come here often to play and just hang out!
google avatar

Yelp
Really spacious well maintained clean park with lots of sports and games to play. Super big grass field and large playground. Parking lot and central there's the community center.
google avatar

Priya K.

Yelp
This is my favorite neighborhood park! While we mainly use it for the tennis courts there are many other facilities like children's play ground, picnic area, basketball courts, Bocce ball etc. The tennis courts are very well maintained and lighted too. They are usually occupied and hard to get during weekends. There is a lot of space with grass, mornings are so pleasant to see people with their variety of dogs. Parking is ample in different areas and entrances of the park.

Yelp
Really beautiful park! Playground is fun for all ages although it would be nice if it were covered. Miss the farmers market being here! So many beautiful memories.

Lauren T.

Yelp
very pretty park and is quite large as well. however there are lots of dogs and kids though and a lot are off leash so you have to be careful. took my baby here for her birthday and she loved it. great park!

Yelp
Gardens Park is an 18 acre park off Town Center Drive in Summerlin. It is just past the first traffic light (Twain) north of the 215 exit. It is also a short walk north of the Western Beltway Trail & the first Las Vegas Peet's. The Community Center is the focal point of the park. In a sense it is the cultural capital of the Gardens neighborhood. In a sense it reminds me a bit of Washington DC. If it is a capitol building of the Gardens neighborhood then the open grass to the west could be the Great Lawn and the cherry blossom promenade to the east the Mall. The Community Center also creates a west and east quadrant. The majority of the active recreation is in the west quadrant. When I visited the park on a recent Sunday, upon entering via the southwest entrance off Town Center, there was a hockey game in the rink. Nearby friends played basketball. To the right families enjoyed the Disney clean playground and picnic pavilions. On the great lawn a dad and son bonded over frisbie. Only a frisbie toss away pet parents bonded with their dogs. At the westernmost end, a few birds chirped by the sand volleyball. The Great lawn bridged the active facilities to the Community Center. The further I progressed east on the lawn, the better the view of the Red Rock mountains. Ultimately at the doorstep to the community center, I captured a Kodak photo moment with cherry blossoms framing the Red Rock mountains. Where the west quadrant is the active side, the east quadrant is the spiritual side. In early April, Spring brought the gardens to life. The blooming promenade of Cherry blossoms connecting the Community Center to the easternmost point created a Kodak Photo Spot in the Park. My spiritual spot in the park are the benches beside the bird bath fountain underneath the Cherry blossom canopy. If the Community Center is like a Cultural Capitol Building, the 0.86 mile perimeter trail is the Beltway. It is a cement walkway that follows the oval layout. It is generally flat topography. By the way, the highest point in the park is the hill north of the decent sized parking lot. Green ornamental lamp posts with plants and trees border the perimeter and connecting walkways that weave through the park. Now if the Community Center is the Cultural Capitol Building, the Summerlin Council is the government running it. I feel they are doing a commendable job. On a park condition report card, I give it an A+. I saw zero vandalism and very little dog waste. The golf course green grass was perfect. A park employee patrolled from a golf cart. If there is vandalism, the posted signs encourage people to dial (702)-341-5500. This was my second visit to the Gardens Park. Both times I have been impressed by the beauty and condition of the park. Kudos to the Summerlin Council and Community for keeping the Gardens Park beautiful.

Yelp
What a great park! Walking paths, benches, fields, and basketball courts are a few of the amenities around the property. Most of the activity here is old people on their early walks. There are two parking lots.
google avatar

Amber G.

Yelp
Love this park! The mature trees provide shade and there is a giant open area to let the kids run to their hearts content. Also, the bathrooms are clean which is so important.
google avatar

Yelp
This is a beautiful park! Super clean and I love the fact that they have a roller rink!

Yelp
I love this park. It's got a beautiful design and very cozy. You want to hang out and relax. You can just sit on the grass and feel the cool breeze. Lots of trees and shaded area.

Yelp
Stopped by here for a walk today after a heavy meal. The park is in a very beautiful part of town in South Summerlin. It was a cold day so not a lot of people were there. There were lots of bird mainly beautiful robins flying around. Amenities include: Bocce Basketball, Horseshoe Picnic Areas Tennis There also a sand volleyball court, and the hockey rink, shuffleboard courts, children's play area, large open festival lawn area and picnic pavilions. Also located in the park is the Gardens Community Center and that hosts a variety of classes and programs for residents. The farmer market is also held there. Well- maintained, quiet, plenty of shade and very clean. I like the landscape and the several fountains. The fountains weren't on maybe it's winter. Good for dog walking, seems very safe. Great park!

Yelp
Super nice park. Zero homeless people here. I loved that they had security officers on foot patrolling the area so I felt super safe here after dusk. The grounds are super nice and very clean. I loved the gardens they were in immaculate condition. Definitely one of the best neighborhood parks in Vegas.
google avatar

Sonia P.

Yelp
Great park. Has basketball, tennis, volleyball, skating ring, horseshoe and 2 other games im not too sure of. Has little cute mazes for kids. A big open space in the middle and also a kids play ground. Love going for walks here.

Yelp
Great place to take the family for a little day at the park! Also a great place to take portraits. I had my prom pictures taken here along with our group and there is an area where there's trees overlooking a garden along with a fountain and it made up for a really good look. I would definitely consider this park over the parks near my area (SW) because it's much more park like with hills and such. Parks in my area are more flat. In my honest opinion, I would say the area is safe. Not in the area much, but based off the surroundings and my awareness, I felt comfortable in it. Would recommend for family gatherings in this case as well.

Yelp
Open spaces and endless grassy fields. What a well maintained park featuring two playgrounds, tennis courts, full circle walking path, dog friendly zones and volleyball space. A+ for this south Summerlin parks and recreation!
google avatar

Yelp
Location, location, location! There are many nice parks in town, some larger and with more amenities, yet Gardens Park is much more enjoyable; no loud rap music or reggaeton, or whatever other sensorial pollutant, just families enjoying the outdoors in peace. Please keep it that way!
google avatar

Peter G.

Yelp
Nice little park I come out to play volleyball. The park itself it pretty large. The volleyball court is on the south/west side of the park. The basketball court always seems to have a lot of people on it. The volleyball court is mehh as far as the sand. If you are familiar with sunset park garden's doesn't even come close. My only complaint ab this park is they don't have and aren't willing to come up with a pick up game system or a way for us to reserve the volleyball courts. There have been incidents... Also the security lady who just stares non stop on the golf cart needs to say hi or try not to be such a creeper! There is a hockey rink as well. A big grass area and a garden of course!
google avatar

Norm K.

Yelp
I have been at this park several times usually riding my bike on the way through. I did take the time this morning to stop and sit in the shade near the bush maze on the east side that Ken mentions in his review. The dogs in this park are certainly plentiful, but when I'm coming with my bike, they tend to move out of the way so Fluffy doesn't get clipped. The park has so much to offer. It's a super space in the Gardens neighborhood of Summerlin.

April P.

Yelp
This park is beautiful! There are lots of trees for shade but also large grassy area with full sun!

Yelp
This is a great park to go to... I think it's my favorite park in Las Vegas. Located in Summerlin the Gardens Park, is a quiet, safe, and fun park for all ages to visit. I have a BBQ there at least once a year... The picnic areas are perfect for a get together. If you're looking for exercise, it's a perfect park for you. There's a huge open grass area perfect for football, soccer, frisbee, flying a kite, or letting your dogs run free. The trails are a great place to walk, bike, or ride rollerblades. They have sand volleyball courts, basketball courts, tennis courts, horseshoe pits, and many other fun activities. Once a week, the Gardens Park hosts an awesome Farmers Market. It's a great place to find local goods. There are plenty of parking spots, so it's always easy to find a convenient parking spot

Yelp
One of the best parks in Las Vegas! I lost my Drivers License and one of the guards there found it! The people working there is awesome and friendly!

Yelp
This place is great for kids, dogs with a fenced dog area. Has bbq's tables restrooms. Has a playground area. Basketball courts. Nice and peaceful park for everyone. Check this place out.

Yelp
Beautiful family friendly park in Summerlin. They have a fabulous farmers market in Thursday's. Great place to go for a walk or picnic Lots of kids activities.

Lisa S.

Yelp
Better parks near by. I'd take a pass on being around the unfriendly residents in the surrounding homes and hostile security. Go to the willows or Mesa park. Friendly staff, kind welcoming residents and great facilities and parks at either of the other close by choices.
google avatar

Marie R.

Yelp
A group of 20 of us went there last Sunday to play "pétanque". They provide nice shaded field for that French game and we all enjoyed it. They offer a playground for kids too. They also have tables here and there with BBQs that anybody can use. Trash cans all over the place. So it was very clean. The grass freshly cut. Nice place to spend a good time with friends and family.

Yelp
Gardens Park is great! I walk here everyday. The grounds are immaculately kept. There are a lot of trees lining the walkways which are great for shade in the hot summer months. It is in the middle of the Gardens neighborhood, and it always feels like a safe, family friendly place. I see a lot of the same people here everyday exercising and/or walking their dogs. Everyone is very friendly. On the west side of the park, they have two lit tennis courts, a couple of full court basketball courts, a sand volleyball court, and a roller hockey rink. The center of the park has a huge grass area that is circled by tree line paths. It's perfect for playing soccer or throwing around a football or baseball. The east end of the park is beautiful with lots of trees, shuffle board courts, horse shoe courts, and other games.

Yelp
Very pretty park and an excellent place for Kids to play! As well as a great place to play in the grass. Restrooms are in great condition and soap and an air dryer. Lots of space to walk and explore. Just a really well kept place.

Yelp
Clean park to spend the day at. I hung out with my family and accomplished three photo sessions here. Bathrooms were a little dirty but nothing my daughter and I couldn't move past. There is a toddlers playground and a big kid playground. Which is awesome because i have kids between 11 and 5 months old. A lot of shade to have a nice picnic at or lots of sun to play in. All in all definitely love this park and enjoy it very much.
google avatar

Yelp
Within walking distance from my home, this little park is an outdoor sanctuary for families & their fur babies. I love it here. Meandering the sidewalks as I do causes my soul to laugh when I see all the happiness this place gives people.
google avatar

Yelp
Semi-hidden away in a Garden's community, this park is filled little kids and dogs. So, if you can put up with an annoying excessive amount of crying kids and barking dogs, it's actually a pretty decent park. It's a pretty small sized park. On on side, there are basketball courts, tennis courts, and even a sand volleyball court. As well as gazebos with BBQ grills. Walking across to the other side, more gazebos and the community center in which you can rent our for events. The park itself doesn't offer as much open grass areas as I would like, but it suffices. There's a grassy area, enclosed by small bushes, which is a great place to hold a little football game. Also, it offers what a lot of other parks don't have.. - Horseshoes area - Bocce Ball area Parking is decent, and never seems to get full.

Yelp
I am in love with this park! My daughter and I happened upon this park while waiting for my husband to finish up a doctor's appointment. It literally has everything. The playground is great. There is a huge play structure with several tube slides for bigger kids. There is a toddler play structure with some shallow slides and tubes to crawl through. There is also a play structure shaped like a train with different train cars. I found some toddler swings but I didn't see any regular swings, though I'm sure they have them. The park has several acres of greenbelts and some beautiful gardens with tons of benches and bird baths. This adds to the beauty of the park. There are lots of things for adults to do including tennis, sand volleyball courts, bocce ball, shuffle board and a horseshoe pit. Additionally there is a huge shade structure that can be reserved and tons BBQ pits. I can't wait to come back and picnic here!!
google avatar

Yelp
This is a nice park with roller rink where a lot of people play hockey, and tennis courts and the like. There's definitely some things that most parks don't have which make it unique. I will say however that the sand volleyball court (of which I play as much as I can), is very misplaced and doesn't have quite the fencing it should. It's probably a 3 ft fence that fences it from S. Town Center, when you can pretty much crush a volleyball and have it bounce into the street easily. Not sure if I'd want to bring my AVP ball at all. Other than that, it's actually a pretty large area where a lot of people walk/jog and when I go after work, there's usually some sort of football or soccer practice. Never really paid attention, but I did see a lot of parents in chairs sitting along the edge of the field when I glanced that way. In any case, it's one of many nice parks in the Summerlin area.

Joey G.

Yelp
I love this park I come here to play hockey all the time it's a good park but everything is open besides the hockey rink right now tennis basketball playground volleyball but not hockey
google avatar

Jones W.

Yelp
Will never understand this community. Usually the people are nice when I walk my three pugs but sometimes you get people that just ignore you during their morning walk / jog even when I say good morning or wave my hand at them
google avatar

Andrew C.

Yelp
Nice little park in the town center area between desert inn and the 215. Has a community center, a huge grass friend, jungle gym, and roller skating ring, 1 full sand volleyball court, 2 tennis courts, and 1 full size basketball court (total 6 hoops if u split the court in half then quarters) Lots of grills around the park and sitting areas. Great for parties or gatherings. Been here countless times for BBQ's hosted by friends or for tennis or basketball. Parking is on the north and south sides of the park. Occasionally, they have a small farmer's market gathering here as well
google avatar

Monica D.

Yelp
I really enjoyed this park! It is located in Summerlin, right off of Town Center Drive and Desert Inn. There is a large children's area with a huge jungle gym/play area, as well as lots of grassy areas, a volleyball court, tennis courts, and a basketball court. There are also lots of grills and picnic tables with seating. There never seems to be a problem finding parking, and there is lots of space to roam. Dogs are supposed to be kept on a leash (we got a warning), but we did see plenty of dogs that were off the leash to play with their owners. I don't know how consistently the rule is being applied, but that is the rule. This is a great park for kids and adults alike!
google avatar

Ashley W.

Yelp
My husband and I meandered over this way for the Strawberry Festival. The park is absolutely gorgeous! It smells like flowers and freshness. The grass is actually green. There is plenty of shade. I didn't get a chance to look at the playground but my girlfriend commented on the array of options available for her 18 month old.
google avatar

Danielle M.

Yelp
This is one of our go to parks that we enjoy, probably because it's near the house. The playground has some unique features for a summerlin park, including toddler swings and a choo choo train. They got rid of the course sand and replaced with that bouncy black stuff prevalent now. The playground is on one end of the park, while at the other end is the community center, a couple of pokestops, and a natural maze. In addition they have walking trails, sand volleyball court, basketball courts, tennis courts, and lots of picnic/grill sites. Good park overall.
google avatar

Triston D.

Yelp
This is one of the greatest parks in Las Vegas. First off, parking, parking is on both sides and the parking is sometimes crowded. Theres a farmers market every Thursday and 2 playgrounds here. You can also play beach volleyball, horse shoes, tennis, etc. There's so much to do here. If your playing soccer there's also a big huge field in the middle of the park. If you like running I recommend running around the path around the park. Totally recommend coming to this park with perfect weather and Saturdays.
