Pretty good selection without having too much stuff. Very much enjoy the whisky and beer on offer. You'll likely find what you are looking for without being overwhelmed by choice.

Beer prices may be high but their bourbon is very reasonably priced with plenty of variety. Was pleasantly surprised at the variety for a smaller store and very satisfied!

Great variety of beverages and the staff is super knowledgeable! Try their bourbon store picks, some of the best in the city. This place is also dog friendly, if you bring your pup to the counter they will give them a treat.

The wall of heaven I love this place. They have a little bit of everything from good wines, beers and great whiskey selection. Differently found my new favorite liquor store.

This is a great store with very ample selection. I’m mostly a wine and bourbon shopper. Staff is incredible with recommendations and recalling what you like (if you are a regular). Check out Manny’s wine recommendations! He will not disappoint. And Dan knows his whiskey and beer! Always a pleasure when I pop into Garfield’s.

I was out of soda and I also needed bloody Mary mix for a recipe for chili that I use and they are just excellent staff and they have a good point system and the store is clean and 100% following all protocol Related to Covid so what more could one ask for? Well I no longer Consume alcohol I know prices well and I know also what the price points are like in Wicker Park area they tend to be very high overall. But, again I want to remark that I was impressed by all of their pricing and helpfulness of the staff. Weather one is dropping by to get some thing that does or does not contain alcohol, this is one of the finest stores I’ve been to.

This liquor store had a very good variety of beers. I love the art designs and always hope to see new ones , and I did in this one. It is right on Milwaukee Ave.

Heads up they aren't wearing masks. This is normally a good store but during a pandemic i won't be shopping here. The clerk that was wearing a mask had it hanging from his chin even while walking around talking with patrons. Once Covid is over feel free to shop here though. Nice liquor store otherwise.

Stopped there to get a mexican coke and had a burger order at small cheval. Parked in their lot ran and grabbed my burger which was ready with no line. Came back to my car to put my burger in it before grabbing my coke and had a boot on my car. The guy literally put the boot on as soon as I parked. Cost $172 for a mexican coke. Horrible! Beware of this place!!! I would not recommend going there unless you are walking. I will never go back.

I love the store very large selection and not hard to find a good wine. I used to shop at this store quite frequently after work before I went out, and I was always approached by people when I got out of my vehicle for spare change it was very alarming. But the last time I went there, a gentleman greeted me before I went into the store as he held the door for me I asked him if he was a doorman and he told me no he was there to watch the parking lot. He had a badge and a vest, what a nice guy. I will be coming back to the store more often now that I know they have security there. What a pleasant surprise not to be greeted by a panhandler instead. I can't believe Garfield's owner went for the expense to protect his customers ---thank you.

First and foremost, this place is WAY over priced... second (and the driving force behind this review) is that the ignorant employee was behind the counter, yucking it up, with NO MASK. Ridiculous. You may not feel sick, but you just don't know (HENCE the mass pandemic). I won't be going back and will always steer and friends away moving forward.

Just echoing other reviews. Enjoyed the beer selection but was made very uncomfortable by 1-2 employees who apparently think their own store's mask requirement is optional for them. It's one thing (though still not ideal) if they are sequestered, but one was literally chatting it up with customers in the aisles as if there's nothing wrong with doing that right now. Really disappointed to see that and hope it's resolved soon.

Always a great selection of store picks on the shelf to try. The staff is well versed on Bourbon and happy to discuss
