Garlic Crush - Review - Bellevue - Seattle - The Infatuation

"Garlic Crush is an Eastside Greatest Hit for many reasons. Their falafel is excellent, their lamb/beef gyros are excellent, their shawarma is excellent, their hummus is excellent, and their baklava is also excellent. Service is fast, and takeout travels well if you’re taking your food back to Seattle. It’s not a place you’d hit up for the interior atmosphere, but but bring a group and line up a few outdoor tables for a Mediterranean feast that’s amazing every time. (Or have a feast by yourself)." - Aimee Rizzo

The 25 Best Restaurants & Bars In Bellevue

"Garlic Crush is the Middle Eastern restaurant version of that best friend you can count on no matter what your mood is. If you’re feeling takeout, kabob plates travel really well. If you want something vegetarian, get some crunchy falafel. If you’re ravenous, the gyro plate will fill you up. If you forgot snacks for your cocktail party, a large order of homemade hummus will have your back. Dessert? Two words: fresh baklava. If the weather’s nice and you line up a few outdoor tables, you’ll have a very enjoyable feast." - aimee rizzo, kayla sager riley, gabe guarente

I’ve ordered takeout from Garlic Crush at this location many times, but my recent dine-in experience was disappointing. When I visited on a Thursday evening, the place was half-empty, yet many tables hadn’t been cleaned. We sat at one that looked okay, but it was sticky and clearly needed a deep clean. I ordered the veggie falafel plate and garlic fries. The food took about 20 minutes to arrive, but thankfully, it tasted good. The garlic fries were especially delicious. The falafel plate came with a pita, so you can make your own wrap. Overall, while the food was enjoyable, the lack of cleanliness made the experience unappetizing.

Google
Ordered the grilled lamb sandwich via Uber Eats and while the order came exactly as requested, pretty disappointed in the meat portion. Mostly bread and vegetables with just a few thin strips of lamb - not worth the $15+ price tag. Food was passable, nothing wrong with the taste, but definitely not a place I'd consider sitting down to dine in. Better options in Bellevue for Mediterranean food at this price point.

Food does not have same good quality consistency. Sometimes it is good. But most of the time is awful, and yucky, and you want to throw it away, despite the expensive high price you had paid. So I consider the food here is a mediocre middle eastern food, on several visits. The food here is disappointing on several visits. I don't know who is responsible for this Service is variable too. From very bad , to worse. Never good, and never climbed to good status. Place is low on hygiene. Disgusting cooking area., filthy behind the counters where employees only area.

I’ve never eaten in, but been inside. Looks clean. I always order a falafel salad to be delivered to work and let me tell you, BEST falafel you’ll ever have. When i open my container at work, the fresh smells of veggies and that amazing falafel smell just fills the room and I’m In heaven immediately. They have a vinegar dressing as well as a dip for the falafel . I’ve had falafel in other places but this place is the best. They don’t burn them and the texture is perfect. Even if they are frozen and fried up, i don’t care. I love them. They don’t include bread with the salad though and also no hot sauce. That would be the only suggestion for paying $25 for the salad. It’s not the salad that’s expensive but the delivery through door dash. So if you can order take out. The salad is priced fair.

If you're looking to enjoy delicious and authentic Arab food, you absolutely need to try this restaurant. What sets this place apart is that everything is prepared fresh, right after you order. The freshness adds an incredible taste to the food. I’ve been searching for a specific kind of Shawarma, like the ones we used to have back home, not the kind cooked on a flat plate. They got it just right! The taste is truly authentic. The Shawarma sandwich is perfectly portioned for one person, the fries are flavorful, and the garlic sauce is a big hit with me and my kids. The Sheesh Tawook is also fantastic. The Falafel is amazing—crispy, flavorful, and so good that I’ll definitely come back for more. For dessert, I recommend trying their Baklava. It’s the perfect sweet treat to end your meal. We’re a family of four with two young kids, and we’ve tried many Arabic restaurants, but this one stands out. Even though I arrived just 10 minutes before closing, they welcomed us warmly and prepared my order with a big smile. While the restaurant isn’t fancy, it has everything that matters: incredible food and authentic flavors. If you’re looking for a stylish ambiance, this might not be your spot. But if you care about truly delicious, authentic food, this will likely become your favorite place. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting to experience authentic Arabic cuisine. It was a wonderful experience, and I’ll definitely come back whenever I visit Seattle. Thanks 🙏🏼

A Flavorful Feast and Stellar Service From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warm smiles and efficient service. Our server, Liz, was exceptional - knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. The appetizers were a perfect start: the crispy French fries were golden-brown and perfectly seasoned, and the lentil soup was hearty and comforting. For our main course, we opted for the falafel plate. The falafel was crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and bursting with flavor. The yellow rice was fluffy and well-seasoned, and the hummus and tahini were smooth and delicious. The fresh romaine lettuce and tomatoes added a refreshing crunch. Overall, a fantastic dining experience. We’ll definitely be back!

Google
As always the flavors of Garlic Crush are just amazing and one of the best part is that the food is !!fresh!!! Is fully cooked and they're pretty fast as well all the crew there doesn't stop. The customer service offered by Luis was simply great and again his skill on leading the crew seems pretty organized!!. Definitely I'll be back again and again!!

Google
This was a great experience for a quick lunch. The food was hot and fresh, the staff was friendly and accommodating, and the portions were fantastic. Highly recommended abs we'll be eating again on our next trip into Belleview

Yelp
Gyro Plate: This is a flavorful dish with good rice and tender meat. There was a good amount of sauce and hummus. It came with lentil soup (or fries), which was yummy and creamy. It also came with warm pita bread, which was soft and tasty with the hummus. Chicken Kebab Plate: My boyfriend got this and loved it (I didn't even get to try any). He chose fries, which were well seasoned and not too crispy.

Yelp
Decent and quick convenient food. Packed flavor that typically comes with Mediterranean shawarma food.

Yelp
Love this place for a quick and casual Mediterranean food. The price point is perfect and the portion sizes are actually quite large. The chicken shawarma sandwich was so big. I had a hard time finishing it. The classic Gyro was stuffed with tons of Gyro strips, although it was difficult to share with another person. We also got the Fries, lentil soup, Greek fries as well. They were kind enough to give extra garlic sauce too. The service was really great and they came over and served everything to our table even though it's a pretty casual place to eat. Garlic crush is one of my go two places when I'm craving something quick, easy, and yummy.

Yelp
Always a safe Mediterranean place. Food is generally above average, the place and atmosphere is generally below average. What is going well with Garlic crush is that it is open but late at night - so kind of gives you another option apart from Indian and Mexican Cuisine. The service is generally quick here. I tried Dolma, Garlic Fries and Kebabs Sandwich. Sandwich was decent and fries was too salty. But however what really stood out was Dolma - really really amazing.

Yelp
The gyros are so good from here !!!! Specifically gyro plate. I will say I miss when their portions were a bit bigger but the amount isn't too bad :/ Naan pita bread IS TASTY. Service is nice and consistent. Atmosphere of the place has outside and inside tables. Definitely a family favorite.

Yelp
I'm so glad that I came to Garlic Crush for dinner during my stay in Bellvue! The food was cooked to order, and I appreciate the time (about 15 minutes) it took to prepare a delicious and fresh meal. I wish I could return to the restaurant just to have the garlic fries; these were an absolute standout! It was the perfect combination of crispy fries, cheesy goodness, and garlic that packed a subtle punch. The salad that I had along with my gyro had a simple yet beautiful dressing that I wish I could have bottled up and taken home. The chicken gyro had tender meat, veggies, and a was wrapped in a sizable pita. It was such a filling meal that I couldn't finish my meal. I thoroughly enjoyed Garlic Crush and hope to return.

Yelp
As indicated by their review rating, this place is probably a bit hit-or-miss, but I personally enjoyed the food I ordered and would come back if I was ever looking for a casual place to grab Mediterranean food. Here's what I tried: - Gyro Plate: maybe because it's been a while since I had tzatziki sauce, but I was a big fan of this dish. The gyro was pretty good, and the tzatziki sauce was very creamy. I even enjoyed eating the tomatoes in this dish, even though I'm a tomato-hater in general. The hummus and pita were good too. This would definitely be my go-to if I came back. - Garlic Fries: you have an option between soup and fries with the plates, and I opted to upgrade my fries to garlic fries for $1.50. Not much to say here other than that the fries were good. - Meat Combo: this is what my GF ordered and she was fairly unhappy with it. I had a couple of bites and could see that the meat (the lamb especially) was a little lacking in flavor. The chicken was also on the dryer side. Overall, I would certainly be open to coming back for the gyro plate and garlic fry combo, but I don't know if my GF would. We'll probably check out Mediterranean kitchen across the street next.

Yelp
I enjoy ordering take out from here. My go to order is the meat combo, and it's so delicious with their signature garlic paste. The hummus tastes very fresh and homemade and so good with their pita bread. When I come in to pick it up, the employees are always very nice and have to ready quickly! The inside isn't anything fancy but there are places to sit down and eat if you don't want to take your food to go. Overall I love eating here when I am craving middle eastern food :)

Yelp
If you're in the area, you've gotta check this place out. I work security nearby and honestly, I end up here all the time because the food is always incredible--never fails to hit the spot. Whether it's a quick lunch or I'm in the mood for something a little more indulgent, it's consistently awesome. The staff is the greatest. They're super friendly and you can tell they really appreciate their customers. Every time I walk in, they make me feel like a regular, even if it's only been a few days since my last visit. It's just that kind of place where you feel valued, and you can't beat that kind of vibe. Can't choose which one I like more..

Yelp
There a few spaces for this location in a bigger shared parking lot. A couple of spaces marked as Garlic Crush are free but the other spaces are in a paid parking lot. You order at the counter and can sit at 1 of 6 inside tables or when it is nice there are 3 or 4 outside tables or take it to go. Once you place your order, the food comes out fairly quickly. The lentil soup was probably my favorite item - it was yummy and not too hot with a good creamy flavor. I ordered the gyro plate with also comes with hummus and a side (you can choose fries, lentil soup or a salad). I got the fries and they were good and a little crunchy but a bit salty. The gyro meat was good- I really enjoyed it.

Yelp
Recently, I had the chance to try a grilled lamb plate, some falafel, and baklava. All the dishes were quite enjoyable, but the falafel stood out with its good, flavorful taste. However, the baklava was my absolute favorite. Its sweet (but not too sweet), nutty flavor and flaky texture were simply delightful. I would definitely order baklava again. I tasted it before, so at first, I wasn't sure if I should get the baklava, but it turned out to be my favourite. Imagine layers of paper-thin, buttery dough, each brushed with melted butter, with a rich mixture of finely chopped nuts, typically walnuts, pistachios, or almonds. It's truly feast for the senses. Overall: Food : 5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 4.5/5 and Somewhat difficult to parking.

Yelp
A great spot for a gyro, kebab, or other tasty meals. My favorite is the mixed meat plate with a bowl of soup. It gets busy at lunch but you can order ahead online. Inside seating and outside for when the weather is nice.
google avatar

Chandra L.

Yelp
32 dollars later on GrubHub and this is what you get. They forgot my soup and pita bread that are part of the meal and had the nerve to tell me I could come pick them up or they'd give them to me free the next time I came in. No effort at all made to get the order I paid for right. And the meat was dry and chewy and not even good at all. Pretty sure it was yesterday's meat reheated. Do yourself a favor and go to Mediterranean Kitchen instead and avoid this place at all costs. They literally don't care about you.

Yelp
Wow! The food here is splendid. The spices are balanced just right that I can taste everything. The lentil soup is terrific as are the dolmas but the falafels are heavenly. If we ever have a party I'm getting the food from here! Wowsa! The presentations are also very lovely.

Yelp
Great spot during the lunch rush. I got the veggie mezza which was plenty of food. Lentil soup was also flavorful. Overall, quick service and affordable for how much food you get.

Yelp
Food is good but it will be the first and last time there. I waited 25min to get this it is a joke. It is expensive for this. The customer service is not good either. Weird...

Yelp
After 6 long yeara without garlic crush, was thrilled to be back but scared that I might let my anticipation let me down. Can say with utter joy inside my bosom that my anticipations were met, surpassed, and shattered. Before I even got to dive into my incredible gyro and baklava homecoming, I was faced with not only the most delightful garlic crush experience I've had, but my favorite food experience ever. This was most all due to a very helpful face I had who's name was Elena. Helped guide me back through the menu with ease, and when everything was said and done, she picked out the very best baklava I've had in quote some time. Definitely appreciated coming back so nicely and easily appreciated elena's friendly expertise. Definitely in need of a raise as I am definitely in need of coming back as soon as humanly possible. Awesome. Pure awesome.

Yelp
Been here a couple times and just have not been impressed with the flavors. Sometimes they are out of items that I'd found out when my food arrives that they didn't have the item...

Yelp
I work in Queen Anne some days and I can't really go out for lunch all the time. So when I get hungry, I order through Uber Eats. This place was such a surprise the first time I ordered from them. I got the Gyro Plate the first time and I loved it! The meat was flavorful and the tzatziki sauce added a little bit of tang to cut through the meat. The second time, I got the Shawarma plate. It was still flavorful, but the meat was a little drier than I wanted and it was topped with tahini sauce. Both plates were good, but now I know that I am more of a gyro person since I like the tangy flavor from the tzatziki and the fresher taste and feel of the ingredients. Shawarma is slightly on the earthier, spicier side. I'll definitely order from here again and if I'm close to one of their locations, I will just enjoy it fresh!
google avatar

Alana N.

Yelp
Big portions with a good variety but a little lack in flavor. The soup option is really unique and soup itself is very tasty so it's a plus! Hummus is also good. But the main dish lack in flavor a little bit. The rice is too oily with not much flavor. But friendly stuff and quick service even during lunch rush hour.
google avatar

Yelp
My husband used to go here when he was living in Bellevue a few years ago and remembers liking it! However when we went last night for dinner around 6:30pm, both he and I were severely disappointed. I hate to say it, but the beef and lamb was SO dry (both in his sandwich and my plate). The flavors of both rice and meat were also bland. On top of that, we waited around 15 minutes for food and thought it would be pretty fresh, but it it wasn't even hot (lukewarm at best). That being said, the employees were still polite and thanked us for our patience. It seems based on the polarized reviews that they might have very inconsistent quality? Not sure what is going on. I love Mediterranean food and have frequented a variety of Greek restaurants, so I was really disappointed that this won't be a weekend regular for me :(

Yelp
fire food for a great price and great service from elena and louis; very friendly! def returning!

Yelp
Mediterranean food is an always a delicious option, and Garlic Crush hits the spot on that mark! We went on a Saturday around lunch time at 12pm, placed our orders and seated ourselves quickly. I got the lamb plate and the baklava, which I'll review below: Lamb Plate: The lamb plate came with a choice of a soup or salad (I picked the soup), a side of hummus + pita bread, and the entree itself. The soup was a lentil soup, with a consistency more like a lighter oatmeal (actually really pleasing, I like this texture) - this soup was delicious! The flavor was deep and hits you nicely with a tiny bit of sourness, just a great small bowl of soup to complement the entree. The hummus was nice - a more smoother texture than the hummus that you usually get from a grocery store, had a good subtle flavor. The lamb was tender and delectable - texture wise was a tender and a little bit chewy, and the seasoning was just right and delicious! Baklava: Wow, this baklava was terrific! There was a dusting of pistachio over the top of the baklava which contributed to the flavor + texture. The honey/sweet syrup was spread evenly through the layers and the puff pastry was nice and crispy - just a really delicious dessert option! Overall, I spent about $22 for the whole experience ($17 for the Lamb Plate and $5 for the baklava). Which is a bit pricier for an entree, but that's to be expected via the location of the restaurant being in downtown Bellevue! I'd definitely like to come back to give the other options to try!

Yelp
Sometimes it feels like I order from Garlic Crush once a week. There are only 2 things I order: the chicken gyro sandwich and the garlic fries. The gyro sandwich is delicious and consistent every single time I get it. Although there was one day where the pita was a little tough, but otherwise, it's a delicious meal packed with a good sauces/flavor. I have no complaints about the gyro sandwich. I bought the same meal for friends (but the beef/lamb) and they enjoyed it as well. Can their service be better? Sure. Sometimes one of the girls working the cashier looks unhappy as if she hates her job, but the food, so far, is good and consistent. I will say though -- I have ordered their shawarma before and wasn't a huge fan. Everything tasted a little too dry. Thus the 4 stars.
google avatar

Mike S.

Yelp
Local chain with good flavor. I like ordering either the lamb shawarma plate or i recently discovered the lamb shawarma wrap, really delicious. quick service! Sad they went away from the side salad, not a huge lentil soup fan.

Steve L.

Yelp
The food is delicious. I'm not so big on lentil soup, but theirs is excellent. The chicken kabobs are freaking fantastic! And the people who run the place are very attentive and helpful.
google avatar

Ruthy M.

Yelp
This is not the first time. Can't go back to a place that can't cater to my allergies. I ordered 4 chicken kabob plate and asked for no bell peppers or onions (I'm allergic!). If they couldn't do that, they should have told me BEFORE I paid and waited 40+ MINUTES for the food. I'm waiting for my food, then I see the cook open up the box of food and pull out the pepper and onions!!!!!!!!! WTF!!!!!! That didn't even clean the box!!! You can see that the cook really had to laid his fingers in my food!!!!!!!!!!! ((You can't do that kind of shit!!!! You can someone!!!)) I told the cashier, very kindly and as quietly as I can so others around can't hear, that if that's my food, I'm allergic. He can't just pull out those things after placing them in. I waited for OVER 40 minutes!!! I was told 4 minutes. I'm in a hurry to go to an appointment and didn't make the time to look at the 4 plates I bought. I get home and what do I find... The plates that the cook just pulled out the peppers and onions!!! They didn't even bother to CLEAN the boxes!!!!!!!!! WASTED OVER $70 AND CAN'T EAT MY FOOD!!!!!!!! It's an allergy not a choice!!!! The other time before this, $400 catered food paid in full!!!!!! WTF!!!! I can't eat, but luckily it was a party and others can. Not going back to waste $$$$ on food I can't eat
google avatar

Yelp
Decent Food, terrible customer service. Won't give them my money anymore after their rude treatment.
google avatar

Tani S.

Yelp
We ordered the meal through Door Dash and it was still warm upon arrival. The chicken kebab plate had moist, well seasoned chicken and loved the rice which wasn't oily. The two sandwiches were delectable as well and the lamb was mouthwatering. The gyros plate was also very generous portions. We wish we would have gotten this sooner during COVID but will add it to our regular rotation.
google avatar

James T.

Yelp
The gyro plate is the only sensible option for someone with an appetite - not just the options but the volume of what you can get. When I received my order, I noticed the chicken was incredibly dry, the flavor was pure salt, and the rest of the dish seemed to alienate one another. Very disappointing. The saving grace was the rice, which tasted like it should, and the water to gulp it all down. Perhaps this was a one off? Who knows. Yelpers - please visit and let me know your thoughts!
google avatar

Hiba A.

Yelp
Horrible service ruined our dinner - my partner went in there he ordered three sandwiches. He got home they had only put two in the bag. He went back to them they said we gave it to you. He called me I checked the bag has only two, on top of that the rude workers made him go check in the car as if we are sandwich thieves. Customer of 10 years here, I will not be going there again for sure this was beyond embarrassing and inconvenient and inappropriate also we don't have time to drive back and forth due to your incompetent workers.
google avatar

Jonathan K.

Yelp
Always fresh tasty food with generous portions. The lamb gyros are delicious! I also recommend the gyro plate, but be sure to get garlic paste on the side for the pita bread! It's yummy!

Oday D.

Yelp
Customer service just ok. Food is awesome! I love their falafel. Table wasnt super clean. But you would really enjoy the food
google avatar

Steven M.

Yelp
Pretty bomb! I ordered the gyro plate, the mixed meat plate, and the Greek fries and everything was super delicious. The portions are hefty and even the leftovers still hit! Sadly they only gave me one utensil set, but mistakes happen and they are forgiven! Will be back! ‍*chef's kiss‍*

Yelp
Beware, this location is steadily dropping in service, and food quality. This used to be a frequent stop for lunch and dinner, to go, and many yelp orders. They used to have upbeat, smiley, employees and the last 5 visits that has disappeared. Perhaps overworked? Underpaid? Undertrained? Or? Who knows. The service is just not there anymore. This review is more for the management/ownership. Recent order concerning chicken kebab salad: chicken was totally inedible. It was not only dry, but the chicken "crumbled" in your mouth, as if it had no integrity. It was shocking. It had no flavor either. It tasted fake. I am sure and hoping this is a rare occasion. But management needs to be aware or they will lose business on the fast.

Nicole J.

Yelp
This was 20$ and only little tiny cup lettuce what a joke I had to check that there was even anything in the container it weighed nothing. Been here twice the first time the meet tasted off.
google avatar

Zac D.

Yelp
Was a bit disappointed by the bland meal here after hearing a lot of hype. Got the meat combo plate, garlic fries, and lentil soup. The fries themselves were decent, but with a name like garlic fries I expected a lot of garlic flavor. Instead, it was a bland sauce too much feta. Feta fries would be a better name here until they amp up the garlic flavor. The lentil soup was also bland and I would skip it next time. The meat plate was also bland but decent overall. While I didn't love it, my wife who has a more plain palate liked it.
google avatar

Utkarsh J.

Yelp
It is a pretty average place. They are really crowded, for a mid-day lunch on a weekday, there was no place to sit for a group of two. Due to the extreme crowd, we decided to get takeout. The prices are above average for the site and food, making it a $$ restaurant. I got the Grilled Lamb Plate and the Chicken Shawarma; both were 3/5. The lamb was not well cooked and was chewy, and the hummus and rice were mediocre. They didn't taste authentic and were lacking genuine flavor. Edible, but nothing to go crazy for. The chicken shawarma also wasn't that great. Their refrigerators don't function properly. I got a guava drink from the one kept by the register, and it was room temperature. I would be a little concerned about the milk-based drinks in there. It is the kind of place you can come in if you are starving and looking for non-chain fast food. For the price, it is really not justified with how average the food is. Food: 3/5 Ambiance: 2/5 Overall: 3/5
google avatar

Parker M.

Yelp
Tasty but portions are way way too small, on top of the insider secret that the med kitchen across the street literally serves no exaggeration at all 3x as much food for the same cost.

Jacob L.

Yelp
I never had a place mess my orders up so often that I felt the need to leave a warning other than here. This is the last straw for us. After ordering the Beef and Lamb Shawarma to go, over half of the container for both of the orders were empty. At nearly 20$ per order, the amount of meat and rice remaining is unacceptable. Never eating here again.
google avatar

Anastasia C.

Yelp
I used to love this place but last time was very disappointing! First of all the size portions are for kids! We got one shawarma and kebab and paid $22. The fountain soda was DISGUSTING!!!! I can taste the chlorine in the water!!!! The guy at the counter was nice tho!
google avatar

Brad Y.

Yelp
Affordable and authentic. You order and pay up front, then they bring your food to you. Not much for ambiance, but oh the food is delicious. My group had intended to go to a nearby restaurant, but the wait was long and they didn't seem willing to seat us together. Garlic Crush was our second choice, but provided my best meal of the week. My son is dating a Turkish woman, so I have become fond of mezze meals with many small dishes. That's what I ordered, along with a side of kefte (spiced meatballs) and yogurt drink (ayran). A feast for under $25. A colleague married a Cypriot woman, so we compared notes. His meal was just as good. As we left, I learned that the owners were Lebanese. Now I understand the authenticity.
google avatar

Krista Rene N.

Yelp
I'd say this place is a 3.5 for food flavor, value and service... but I'll round up because there's very few convenient takeout options in the downtown Bellevue area that isn't super duper expensive, so I appreciate this place. The pita sandwiches are good size and decent flavor. They offer a better value than the plates. I love chicken shawarma plates but the few times I've ordered one here the portions have been very skimpy, and when I ask for extra garlic sauce I always get an attitude. For almost $15, I really don't think a request is that big of a deal but that's just me. Overall, pretty good food and convenient.

Yelp
Always so friendly. Food is sensational. Perpetually excellent. Definitely eat here! :)

Their prices increased by $5 and they reduced their portions in almost half. Not garlic-ey at all.

Yelp
So sad, not sure what happened to Garlic Crush, but it's not the same anymore. Not sure if we kept going at busy or bad times but it's been a big miss. The chicken shawarma is not as good as it used to be! The chicken was dry and cold - does not come out hot at all... And the beef kabob plate, for the price you would think they should give a good amount of food - but the portions have shrunk!?? Last time we got the beef kabob plate ($15.75) there was only like 5 pieces of beef... how disappointing! Also the pita used to be served all warm and soft and now they gave it to us cold and it was kinda hard! No thank you. Now we're going to have to find a new go to spot for Mediterranean food. I'll try it again someday but we were terribly disappointed the last 3 times we went :( please go back to how you used to be!!

Yelp
I have mixed feelings about this place. Ordered takeout food tonight after seeing the great reviews on Google but I am disappointed to be honest. So I ordered the Chicken Shawarma Plate with a side of lentil soup and Chicken Shawarma Sandwich. First let me cover the good bits. The lentil soup was very tasty. The Chicken Shawarma sandwich was huge and totally worth the $11.95 though it is still on the higher end. Taste wise also it was pretty good with the garlic sauce and the pickles. Pita was light and does not feel heavy inspite of its size. What did not work for me was the Chicken Shawarma Plate. The quantity was abyssmal - so less for $18.95. I wish I took a picture to prove my point but it did not fill the box remotely. Tastwise also, it was average, nothing to write home about. So yes, maybe I just got unlucky but the Chicken Shawarma Plate was so not worth the price at which it is marked.
