Our group came in on Friday night, all first timers. Overall experience was great! All of the staff were friendly, caring and attentive. Our server Davis was especially awesome. I noticed how enthusiastic and passionate he was, and our party enjoyed all of the recommendations that he gave us. Most places with both bbq and sushi AYCE, tend to hit or miss. I would say this place was a hit. You can’t go wrong with either of the options. I would definitely return again!

All you can eat bbq and sushi! Served with 8 different ban chan (small side dishes). You can ask for more and for specific sides that you prefer. Everyone at the table will have their own dipping condiments for your meats (sweet sauce, salt and soy bean paste). And for sushi Wasabi and sliced pink ginger. I enjoyed the thinner slices of meats vs the thicker cuts which can be on the chewy side. I recommend the thinner cuts of beef and pork without marinade. The butter shrimp and the seafood pancake were good. You will need to flag your server if you would like to order more as they give you small servings which was understandable to prevent waste. If you have room, order the dessert! The Melona fruit bar (I had the strawberry flavor) was creamy and delicious. Excellent to leave the restaurant with something sweet on a hot day! Be careful of the parking on the weekend as it gets really busy. Patrons of the strip malls have no courtesy and will double park, park behind a parked car, block your path etc....

I had such a great experience with this AYCE. The food came out insanelyy fast. Honestly the fastest service I’ve ever had at any KBBQ in Houston, and I’ve tried a lot of them. The appetizers and main courses were yummy- we ate mainly KBBQ and only a few of the sushi options. Our server, Davis, made the whole experience even better. He was super attentive, checked on us often, and gave great recommendations. You can really tell he cares about making sure guests have a great time. My only disappointment was the short ribs, which is my favorite meat option usually— however, they were a bit too thick and fatty for my liking. But everything else more than made up for it. Also they have Melona icecream for dessert which was a great way to end the dinner.

I had a great BBQ experience here today. The table setup is spacious with a lot of side dishes prepared nicely. The banchan was fresh and refilled quickly. The meat was good quality and sliced well, and the dipping sauces were really tasty.Special thanks to Thành and Hào, they were both super friendly and attentive. They checked on our table often, brought everything out fast, and made the whole experience even better.Overall, delicious food, great service, and definitely worth coming back!

Google
First time here and would come back 100%! The meats were so good, I loved the sides, and the sauces were amazing. I especially loved the garlic butter. I think it's the best KBBQ I've had so far. We loved having Kim as our waitress. I'd come back just for her. Shes so welcoming, kind, and very knowledgeable. Thank you Kim for our wonderful experience!

Google
Went there for weekend lunch. Menu included everything shown in the photos except for two add-on items in there. I think for the price (35), it’s good, given the variety of selections provided. Service was great as the servers were attentive and changed out the grill frequently. A reviewer did mentioned sides were not flavorful. I do agree, the lettuce and other fresh greens were lacking in flavor. Probably due to the lack of seasoning in the soil they were grown in. For additional seasonings, do ask for sauces as it’s included in the price.

Google
I googled best Korean BBQ in Houston, and came up with my top 5. I wanted somewhere casual, the service was more like an actual Korean restaurant. So we decided to try out Garosu. The setup is great! It makes decisions so much easier. Under 40 per person and you can eat basically whatever you want in 90 minutes. Not like it's a race. That's plenty of time to eat, talk, have a great time. The servers were so attentive and friendly, even amongst the busy restaurant. I was very impressed at how well it ran. Food came out quickly, items were explained if we needed. I tried to stick to meat only. Some banchan, but mostly meats. We ordered the short ribs, boneless short ribs, flap, beef belly, pork belly, squid, spicy bulgogi, and some sashimi. The portions were on the smaller side, but when you can just order more, it was perfect. We ordered some cuts multiple times. All in all, I'm so happy to have found my new go-to Korean BBQ since moving from Alaska.

I’m actually writing this review while sitting and eating here right now! I came in around noon and decided to go for the dinner price because the menu looked so interesting — and wow, it’s totally worth it! The food is delicious and freshly made, especially for the price. Plus, the staff are friendly and attentive. All I can say is… Sugoi! 😋🍱✨

Yelp
Great in every aspect! Six stars. Service and atmosphere: Outstanding service: knowledgeable, attentive and friendly staff. Clean and very well organised/designed interior. Food and drinks: Super tasty foods (once cooked :)). The grill had the smoke extraction built in so no cooking food smells. Very good selection of various meats and side dishes. The side dishes were replenished often. Big selection of beers. Sake and soju were also available. Pricing: $$ and SUPER worth it!

Yelp
an AYCE spot with kbbq, sushi, and tons of appetizers. their sauce options were a bit limited. their kimchi wasn't my favorite and they didn't have spicy pickled cucumber salad. appetizers: we tried the kimchi pancake, gyoza, and tonkastu. we liked the tonkastu and gyoza but not so much the kimchi pancake. meats: i would highly recommend wagyu beef belly, it's juicy and flavorful. their bulgogi isn't my favorite as the pieces were thin and became crumbly once on the grill. sushi: i liked their salmon sashimi including the garlic one but didn't like the tuna one so much. i would recommend not going at popular meal times as they told us that our wait time was going to be 20 minutes but it ended up being an hour. the service was super friendly and always checked up on us to make sure we had all the meat we needed.

Yelp
Probably the best AYCE Korean BBQ I've had so far! There are tons of all-you-can-eat KBBQ spots out there, and you can find one almost anywhere--but this one really stood out to us because they also serve sushi. We love sushi, so that definitely earned some extra points right off the bat. At $35 per person, the price is totally reasonable and affordable for what you get. Just a heads-up though, drinks come in cans, so no free soda refills--which felt a little unusual but not a dealbreaker. The service was amazing. Everyone was super friendly and fast. Even though we went on a packed Sunday night, we were seated right away. I didn't see anyone wait longer than 10 minutes, which is impressive. Our server was awesome--very attentive and checked on us often to make sure everything was good. Food came out fast and in small portions, which I actually liked because it kept things fresh and let us try more variety. Just be ready to order a bit more at once or make a few rounds. The menu is huge, and everything looked tempting. One of my favorites was the cold noodles--so flavorful and paired perfectly with the grilled meats. All the meats were fresh, no funky smell or weird aftertaste. The sushi was also super fresh, with thick cuts that were packed with flavor. Overall, everything was excellent. I genuinely loved everything about this place and will definitely be back. If you're looking for a solid AYCE KBBQ spot with sushi, this is the one to try

Yelp
I have only been for lunch and just had the lunch menu.... I could have opted for the complete experience and gone for the full dinner menu, where they have their better cut of meats, but I didn't want to overdo it - it was just lunch. And for about $24 bucks, they serve a pretty fair lunch menu with a good array of banchan, salad and several meat options to throw on your table grill. They also have some basic sushi options to round out your experience, but I really didn't try that much as I was concentrating on the banchan and grilled protein selection. As soon as you sit down, you are presented with two menus (lunch and dinner menus) and they start filling your table with the banchan. The service is friendly and for the most part efficient, and the I enjoyed the atmosphere. I most likely will go back and try the full menu.

Yelp
Garosu is a vibey spot for AYCE Korean BBQ and Sushi, combining these 2 of my favorite experiences when I want to just want to eat nonstop. Focusing mainly on Korean BBQ, as they originally only had this (without the sushi), there are many different meat options to choose from. My first visit here was a little overwhelming as I tried to order all the meats and keep track of what I liked. After 3-4 visits I've found that I enjoy the Signature Bulgogi, Black Angus Marinated Short Rib, and by far the Wagyu Beef Belly. The Wagyu Beef Belly is probably the main reason I choose to come back here as it is so juicy and flavorful, coming drenched in a sauce that compliments the meat to perfection. It really might be one of the best meats I've had from any AYCE KBBQ place. If I could come here and only eat this one meat, I would be satisfied. Luckily Garosu has many more options to choose from. Their nigiri is decent, with the Salmon Nigiri being my favorite and there a good amount of rolls to choose from. I personally love ordering the hand rolls. On top of this Garosu serves many appetizers to give you diversity in what you want to eat such as Corn Cheese and Karrage. You'll definitely be able to find at least of couple items you will enjoy, though it may take you a while to get there. The service here has been a little inconsistent. Some days I get my order taken and food comes out quick with servers checking up on our table often, and other days I wait pretty long periods of time for my food and have to flag down my server to order more. I have observed this even though the place has what seems to be a similar number of guest each time I've gone. Overall though, the meats here (especially my beloved Waygu Beef Belly) and variety of food options still keep me coming back occasionally, even if there are some inconsistencies. 8/10!

Yelp
Highlight: Prime Beef Brisket, Wagyu Beef Belly, Black Angus Marinated Short Rib, Wagyu Beef Tongue, Black Angus Rib Figer, Umami Chuck Flap, Spicy Rice Cake Skewer, Soft Tofu Stew, Eel ($34.99) The wagyu beef belly was the softest beef we ordered. I was looking forward to the short ribs but it was really chewy in texture. The other meats were okay and I used the ssamjang to give it the extra punch of flavor. The rice for the sushi was a bit hard. I didn't try enough to have an opinion on the quality of the sushi. Hospitality: Our grills were changed often and always had meat on our table or food to try. I didn't get to see much of the interior of the restaurant because we were seated in the alley, but we had multiple people hosting us throughout the night. Honorable Mention: Lots of different side dishes but the dishes did not stand out to me in terms of taste or had a good texture.

Yelp
AYCE Korean BBQ AND sushi? Sign me up. My friend and I came on a Friday afternoon, so we got a lunch menu, and our total was about $25 each, so not too shabby. I ordered the Starbucks sushi roll, which came in 4 pieces and was well prepared, but I don't think sushi is Garosu's strong suit and would prefer getting it elsewhere. Regardless, I wish I had tried their other options. For my first visit, my table ordered the - Wagyu Beef Belly (4.5/5): cooking this after cooking the Spicy Pork Belly, coated the meat with a spicy kick which I enjoyed a lot; though I did find it a bit salty when we ordered a second time, and a bit too fatty, but that is the nature of Wagyu in general. Pairs well with the sauces they provide, however! - Spicy Honey Comb (2/5): curiosity got the best of me.... I don't know what I was thinking when I ordered it, but not a fan of the texture. - Spicy Thinly Sliced Pork (5/5): not as spicy as I'd hoped, but overall, delicious, and I wish I had ordered more! It was very tender, easy to cut, and could be consumed without dipping it in additional sauces. - Curry Cumin Pork Belly (4/5): This only came in 2 slices, but I also enjoyed it. The curry flavor was subtle, thus making this order forgettable, but I would order again and hope it's marinated differently next time! - Prime Beef Brisket (3/5): a staple order. Honestly, pretty forgettable as well since it was overshadowed by our other meat selections. I found it chewy and needed the sauces to elevate the taste. The banchan were delicious (especially their fish cakes), and I regret not indulging in them as much as possible! Luckily, my friend and I did not overeat, so we left feeling pretty satisfied, even after taking a few bites of the complimentary ice cream.

Yelp
Good cuts of meat and lots of options! I liked the dessert options (they had a lot of ice cream bars). Their sushi also was fresh but took a while to come out. There is lots of table space and lots of seating but there was a lot of people so I recommend going early. The service was a bit slow but there were a lot of tables. The grill also kept turning off but it wasn't too bad.

Yelp
The social media influence, the AYCE price, and the hype; not worth it! :( They partnered with Taizzi for sushi and while I respect and know the owners of Taizzi, I wanna keep it 100. Honesty is the best policy right? Our group got there around 5pm for a Saturday dinner. The wait was about 20 minutes. Once seated, the banchan dishes came out right away. This is probably to distract from the long wait times ahead... Let's start with the Bad: -While it is AYCE, there's a time limit (90 mins), but the food takes FOREVER -Our grill pan was switched out 3x because the BBQ meats took awhile to come out -Sushi rolls were sloppily rolled and cut unevenly -We got water cups when we first sat down, waited 20 minutes before we got a pitcher thing of water, which we had to ask for -My girlfriend ordered a Sprite, they took about 15 minutes and brought her Sprite Zero. We flagged down our server for the regular Sprite; another 15 minutes. Not sure why it takes so long to bring out beverages... The Good: -Black Angus seasoned short ribs -Spicy thinly sliced pork belly -Soju varieties -Refills on banchan dishes -The option to order sushi while waiting for your bbq meats to cook Perhaps I came on a busy night...but I left disappointed. I normally take lots of food pics, but was too busy cooking and feeling underwhelmed with the whole experience.

Yelp
We came for the AYCE KBBQ and sushi. Overall not bad but not that great either. The meat quality is ok. Same can be said of the sushi. We left with full stomachs although nothing was terribly impressive. Service was very spotty. We had to ask multiple times for banchans to be replenished and we actually got up a couple times to fetch utensils ourselves from the supply station because they were taking so long. Overall an ok experience. Probably will not rush back here.

Yelp
Garosu always hits the spot when I'm craving some good ol Kbbq. Although they've introduced a new green cilantro sauce to dip sashimi in. It's an awesome addition! They also introduced a new worker who comes through the isles to refill the banchan. He was on it all night! Never went without our favorites.

Yelp
I was with a party of eight to celebrate a double birthday. Unfortunately, their table could accommodate about seven people which is a super tight squeeze. So we ended up taking over two separate tables and we just chair hopped in between. We had a few staff members cater to us and they were amazing people . They would check on us every once in a while to make sure our request are going through, changing the metal part of the grill, and making sure our side dishes are full. Of the meat options, I would highly recommend the Wagyu beef, beef, brisket, the black Angus, and Unami chuck flap. A few of us did had a bunch of sashimi and sushi. Their salmon were super soft. And everyone is allowed to have one ice cream dessert as a part of their all you can eat meal. You may have to double check your waiter/waitress every once in a while to make sure what's the status of your order to avoid overordering. The table chairs were super stable and clean we arrived, and they did clean out the dirty dishes very quickly in between food requests. The grill ventilation, is amazing, we did not smell like smoking when we left. They also refrigerate our cake in the back. Parking is free and our front. What separates this Korean barbecue restaurant compared to the other ones is that this place includes sashimi/sushi at a competitive price.

Yelp
All you can eat Korean BBQ in a part of Chinatown further from Beltway 8. . Our initial thought is a spacious restaurant with very nice booth seatings. They have a large sushi and drinks bar at entrance. Service was excellent as our waiter and staffs are super accommodating. Food is not good. Unfortunately, the sushi with wrong type of rice - dry and huge, the fish is not fresh and fishy. Most of their BBQ meat tastes old and super sweet or salty. I'm sorry but I must said salad and side dishes are the only edible thing. Their ice cream of bibigo and Melena is the plus. I'm not sure if we are willing to give them a second try.
google avatar

Yelp
All you can eat for under $35! Includes apps, meats, sushi and deserts. They do have drinks but I just had water this time. Our waiter traded are stove out every time it started to look a little cooked itself. He made sure we stayed with food on the table. This is a great place for a friend date or even a 1st date, you can talk and cook. Takes the awkward out! I don't know if ill come back because its a distance from me however if Im in the area or if someone drives me ill go. Food was delicious... make sure you season it

Yelp
Came to Garosu for lunch. It was busy and I can see why. The food was delicious! For an AYCE, the meat quality was great. We ordered some appetizers as well: -Crunchy crab (crab meat over crispy rice): was a good start, can't go wrong with crab and some mayo -seafood pancake: super crispy and flavorful The servers came by often to see if we wanted to order more. Glad they did because we couldn't get enough of the wagyu beef belly and surprisingly the garlic butter shrimp. Overall, the meats and seafood were marinated well. We also really enjoyed all the sides, especially the picked bean sprouts and potato salad. There's an entire sushi menu, but we didn't have room to try any. Will have to make room next time!

Yelp
After a little more than a year since opening, Garosu has definitely hit its stride as one of the top AYCE kbbq spots in Chinatown. With its new ownership and collaboration with Taizzi, it now features an AYCE Japanese menu as well! Having frequented Taizzi in the past, I knew what to expect when it came to the Japanese portion of the menu, but it was my first time experiencing their kbbq. We ordered a variety of our favorites from Taizzi--the shrimp tempura, the screaming O, and the yellowtail kanpachi, spider roll, and fatty salmon sashimi. They were all delectable and delicious, though coming in smaller portion sizes than at the Taizzi. On the Korean menu, we tried the seafood pancake, which came in a nice small size! I enjoyed the various banchan including the kimchi and potato. For the meats, we ordered a variety of mostly beef. My favorite was the boneless short rib and galbi of course as well as the thick pork belly. The tongue was very tough here, and neither of us enjoyed it. The tofu jjigae was very salty but otherwise nice and warming. The staff was very attentive about changing out the grill in between meats, which was much appreciated. Our server was very patient with answering our questions. I was happy that they offered a choice of dessert of various flavors of Melona, Green tea with red bean popsicle, or ice cream. We arrived around six on Sunday and didn't have to wait. It definitely got bussier closer to seven. I really wish they had vents to suck away some of the cooking smell, but meh. Overall great time and worth a return.

Yelp
An AYCE KBBQ located in the same plaza as Thanh Binh grocery store. Their menu have expanded since their opening. They have sushi and sashimi on their menu as part of AYCE. An abundant of choices to choose from appetizers, different cut of meat, sushi roll, and a variety of sauces. Some of my favorite meat: black angus seasoned boneless short rib, wagyu beef belly, wagyu beef tongue, pork belly, pork jowl, and prime beef brisket. The sashimi is pretty decent quality for ayce. I prefer to eat sashimi over nigiri so it isn't too filling. Their banchan is a bit limited but we like their Korean spicy salad and pickled radish which goes well with the cooked meat. Service was good overall, it's less crowded on a weekday night than the weekend. We got our grill changed out often and the waiter came by frequently to check on us. They also have rooms to reserve for big group. I liked that they have expanded their menu and their service has improved. I would also recommend trying their matcha red bean ice cream for desserts.

Yelp
I really enjoyed everything here and a big menu of things to choose from and food comes out quick once u place it. Vents are in the table so you don't leave smelling like meats and grease. Definitely the best kbbq in town so far. Highly recommend. Place is pretty large too! Wish it were closer to my house but then I'd be gaining too much weight so probably a good thing.

Yelp
The best spot for group dinner, especially if you're a fan of all-you-can-eat KBBQ and sushi! The ingredients are top-notch, with incredibly fresh sashimi and high-quality meats. The kanpachi sashimi stood out with its refreshing taste and a slight kick from the jalapeños. For the meats, the wagyu beef belly and beef tongue were our absolute favorites--rich, tender, and flavorful. The sides were also fantastic, and I couldn't get enough of the kimchi and cheese corn (definitely worth those refills!). For appetizers, the kimchi fried rice and steamed eggs are must-tries--they add so much to the meal. Service here was excellent, with attentive staff who are quick to check in and clear plates, keeping the dining experience seamless. While it's a bit pricier than other AYCE places, the quality of food and service makes it well worth it. We wrapped up our meal with ube Melona ice cream, the perfect sweet ending to an outstanding dining experience.

Yelp
I decided to check out Garosu for their AYCE options recently, and I was very impressed with the options that they have and the quality of the foods. I stopped for a weekend early dinner for a party of 3, and we were seated pretty quickly. Our servers were attentive and friendly, and the booths were pretty spacious. Grill changes were frequent and fast. There's a good amount of side dishes included, and the AYCE menus are for KBBQ, appetizers, and sushi. The appetizers were not bad depending on what you get. The KBBQ options were super fresh and tasty, and the marinated options were perfectly seasoned. Some of my favorites include: Wagyu Beef Belly, Black Angus Ribeye Steak, Black Angus Marinated Short Rib, Black Angus Marinated Boneless Short Rib, Garlic Butter Shrimps, and more. Even the sushi options were really fresh as well. This has now become one of my favorite AYCE KBBQ places around town, and I will definitely be back again for more soon.

Yelp
Garosu is currently my #1 AYCE KBBQ at the moment. Here are the pros and cons: Pros: Reasonable price with what they offer, ~ mid 30s per person I think. Decent sushi rolls. I love their Garosu towers Vast selection and variety. Excellent service; -- nice, courteous and fast. Cons: This is like a once a month or 2 months type of place. I can't eat like this on the weekly basis.

Yelp
I visited with my family and was impressed! The waiters/servers are all super nice and accommodating! The music is really chill and not too loud where we can't hear each other, I liked that aspect in comparison to other places. The meats are all really fresh and never frozen. I loved the banchan, really tasty. The sushi was good too! I've had crispier kimchi pancakes but it was good. I was most impressed that they were very caring for a food allergy in our group. Will be back!
google avatar

Victor N.

Yelp
The main highlights for this meal were the wagyu beef and wagyu tongue. The beef was really high quality that I ended up eating this for the majority of the meal. My favorite sides were the ssamjang, garlic, purple radish and lettuce. I didn't end up trying a lot of different cuts or sushi. The service was good, we were checked on frequently and the grills were consistently changed.

Yelp
I am from California and I believe this place truly exceeded my expectations. I was absolutely impressed with this restaurant with all the options on the menu and the quality of food for the price that it was. Our favorite cut of meat for the night was definitely the beef tongue. We were highly impressed with the appetizers and soups that were available as well. The sushi was pretty good quality. This is something that is hard to find when a restaurant does both sushi and barbecue, usually a restaurant would lack on one end. However Garosu was great with both the meats and the sushi. The salmon was fresh and tasty. Our server was very friendly and helpful to us with ordering. Sometimes ordering for a large party can become quite time consuming but our waiter was very patient with us and some of the questions we had. We were checked on often and were given many opportunities to reorder! The interior is great! It's clean and refreshing! Just one thing that I noticed is that the table sizes are on the smaller end so ordering a lot can make the table very crowded!

Yelp
By flank i meant CHUCK FLAP! Very meaty flavor cut that was different from the others

Yelp
Came in with a big group of 9 and got seated in the back room for a birthday party. Food 5/5: great quality ingredients for kbbq and sushi. Sushi is sourced from Taizzi apparently, really enjoyed both, especially recommend the salmon belly Ambiance 4/5: back room ambiance is fairly bland but ambiance in the main dining area seems good, good ventilation and darker more intimate ambiance but nothing that wowed Service 4.5/5: great service, very friendly and personable. Fairly quick with bringing food and clearing dishes but a bit slower with water. Value AYCE/5: 5.5/5 for me, I'm a big eater, considering quality of cuts, quite a good price. Overall 4.9/5: best place I've been to for both AYCE sushi and kbbq, my new go to place.

Yelp
We came here for lunch on Father's Day. We got there right when they opened and there was already a ton of people outside waiting to go in. I'm not sure if that's the norm for the weekend or if it was just because it was Father's Day. Either way, it was fine because it wasn't too long of a wait. There's plenty of seating so people were seated fairly quickly. It was super busy but there are a ton of staff and they were all very attentive. Everyone is on top of it. There's a main server assigned but there's a lot of other staff available and helping with whatever you need. Even with it being busy our orders never took too long. Food is great. Lots of good options to choose from. There's something for everyone whatever your preferences are for KBBQ or sushi or if you prefer more of one over the other. Good quality on everything too.

Yelp
Wanted to follow up on my previous review of Garosu since they have added a new AYCE sushi offering to compliment their KBBQ. All of my comments regarding the food last time around remain true. The quality of meats, hot appetizers, and banchans is still top notch. However, the menu has changed a bit but not significantly. We visited Garosu on a Saturday night this time around and it was very busy. All of the KBBQ items were still enjoyable and the service with these items were very quick. Upon ordering any non-sushi items, we received our meats and appetizers within minutes. The newer sushi items were a bit of a let down, but had a few hidden gems. To start off, the fish quality of the sashimi was not the best. There is a stark difference between their fish freshness when compared to a dedicated AYCE sushi restaurant. We tried the JesiFresh roll and we thought that it was a bit overdone with sauce. The spider roll is the hidden gem of the sushi menu. It is packed with soft shell crab and isn't overloaded with rice or unnecessary sauce. The sushi bar was working quite slowly when we arrived and placed our order, granted that it was probably the busiest time of the week for them. I want to highlight the service again. Our server, Danny D, always takes good care of us and shows concern whenever our ordered items are even slightly delayed. He has great memory, makes great recommendations, is friendly, and very funny as well.

Yelp
I haven't been to Garosu in a while and they've really changed things up! Before they used to have 3 different price options for ayce. Now it's all one set price plus sushi for $35.99 each. It's a great deal in my opinion! The meats are great quality. My favorite is the wagyu beef belly, then the spicy thin sliced pork, and beef bulgogi. They added a sushi menu which includes nigiri, sashimi, basic rolls, and special rolls. They also have a lot of apps and sides. The salmon nigiri was great. I love the corn cheese as well. Onto issues: Our spicy edamame was overcooked and the sauce was burnt. We had to repeatedly ask for things. They forgot one of our meats and the assorted veggies the first round. Forgot a drink and a sushi roll. Gave a plate of sashimi instead of nigiri etc. I'm sure it's hard to handle everything when you have multiple tables asking for lots of things but yall use the iPad so it should be trackable. If not, maybe put an ordering screen at each table. The ayce does not include drinks but does have some dessert choice of ice cream or melona bars. All in all, great value and I'd recommend it but they need to fix the serving issues and the tables can be kind of small when you bring out so many little plates and sauce dishes etc for everyone. The restaurant is nice and clean with a modern vibe. Check it out!

Yelp
We were excited to try out Garosu with all the influencers raving about the AYCE Korean BBQ and Sushi. However sad to say it fell a little short from our expectations. Ambiance is nice, nothing fancy. Servers were amazing. I believe our first server was Will but Sky took care of us towards the end. Sky was awesome and constantly interacted with our 3 year old daughter during our meal. However, service from food was so SLOW! The place wasn't packed but somehow the food took forever to come out. The sushi wasn't anything special. If you're in the mood for sushi, I definitely suggest going else were. Selection is limited and not many fancy rolls to choose from. The Korean BBQ wasn't bad, it was well marinated and we really enjoyed the steak. They didn't have galbi which was a let down. Overall, we loved our servers (Sky and William) but wasn't a fan of the long wait or the menu. It's worth a try, but I don't think we'd come back.

Yelp
Garosu KBBQ - Solid AYCE Spot with Room for Tweaks Garosu is one of the better KBBQ spots in Bellaire's Chinatown -- clean, modern vibe with solid cuts of meat and a good variety for an all-you-can-eat joint. The marinated short rib and pork jowl are standouts, and the banchan isn't overwhelming -- just enough to keep things interesting. Out of all things ordered, I can confidently say I enjoyed beef belly the most. As good as marinated short ribs are, you're guaranteed a grill change shortly following throwing one on, so plan around the table's hunger meter. Service is generally quick, but a couple quirks worth mentioning: the servers constantly turn down the grill without asking, even mid-sear, which gets annoying fast. Also, they do miss an order here and there -- not a huge deal since it's AYCE, but still something to keep in mind. Overall, Garosu hits the spot when you're craving Korean BBQ and want a cleaner, trendier experience than your usual hole-in-the-wall. Not perfect, but I keep coming back. Oh, and I appreciate the option of AYCE sashimi, too. It paints them in a good light as a restaurant that isn't trying to get their customers full on filler (sushi rice).

Yelp
The food was great, but the service was even better! A baby kitten was meowing in our friends car. We spent some time trying to get it out and decided to go back into Garosu to ask if there was any food they could give us to try and lure the kitten out. Thomas and Andy (pictured), helped us for two hours to get the kitten out!

Yelp
Thomas and Andy were amazing with their service. Andy was prompt and fast to get our group a table! When we we were leaving, we had a cat stuck in our engine. Came inside to ask for food and instead Andy and Thomas came outside to help! Stayed two hours past closing and helped us! Highly recommend their food as well but their service was phenomenal!!!

Yelp
First timer and it was delicious! Pablo was a great server! Actually the whole crew was pretty amazing. We barely finished ordering and the items were coming out already! Fast and efficient service. The wagyu and thin cut pork belly were my favorite cuts of meat. Was also able to get some spicy octopus and cheese corn! The service staff took care of us and changed out the grill once it got used. I was excited to get sushi and kbbq in one spot so it sure did satisfy my cravings! Will be looking forward to returning another day!

Yelp
Overall liked this place. Had a few snags with the service but food was great. No reservations but waitlist went pretty fast. Waited about 30 minutes on a Saturday night for a party of 4. Our server was young and tried to be efficient but didn't tell us that one order of meat wasn't going to feed the 4 of us. One order of Kalbi is just one piece. So definitely order in multiples. He also didn't tell us if an item was out, like some sushi or other cuts of meat. We waited a lot for him to check in on us. Eventually we got smart and would stop him every time he passed our table. It's hard to be AYCE if no one checks in on you to take orders. We had to follow up with him A LOT! I'd give the food 4 stars and the service 2 stars. As for bathroom cleanliness, it's about a 3.

Yelp
I feel like lately I've been disappointed by KBBQ restaurants in Houston regardless of whether they're new or old... so I came in with low expectations... only to be blown away! The meat quality here is amazing. Great marbling and color. Every protein I ordered was tender and delicious. Personal favorites were the ribeye steak and marinated short ribs. We ordered off the C menu. They were very good about changing the grill often which I appreciated! The sides here aren't bad! I loved the seasoned lettuce salad... usually they're just whatever at most KBBQ places but the dressing was so addicting. I kept asking for refills! Also loved the garlic butter and fresh garlic + jalapeños. Kimchi was a bit too fermented for me but that's just personal preference. Soft tofu soup was a bit bland. I enjoyed my strawberry Melona at the end of our meal! Garosu will definitely be a new go-to place for KBBQ. I hope they continue to serve excellent quality meats in the future.

Yelp
My sister and I came here around lunch time. The food was great and we had sojus too. They have the meat cuts that we wanted and the price is around the same as other kbbq spots. The service was great. They were very attentive with what we needed.

Yelp
This was my first time trying Garosu for their BOGO 50% off deal in August, but it definitely won't be my last! I loved the interior sleek black and wood design, and I felt that it had good ventilation that didn't make me smell like kbbq after. The place is very spacious and we did not have to wait at all, but we did go at around 5pm on a Saturday. I loved the wagyu options -- my favorite being the wagyu beef belly as it cooked quickly and melted in my mouth. I also really like that all of the appetizers are included in the AYCE price, and that the portion size for them are not too big, meaning you can try a lot of different items and order more if you'd like. Service was also really good and the meats we ordered came out pretty fast. They also offer ice cream at the end including melona bars!

Yelp
I had such a great experience thanks to Miguel at KBbq Garosu! He was super friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure everything went smoothly from start to finish. You can really tell he cares about giving great service and making people feel welcome. If you're ever visiting Kbbq, definitely ask for Miguel -- he's the best!

Yelp
We came in with no reservations early on Friday and didn't have a wait time! Service was great our server Kaylee was very attentive! We both got the premium option and it was BOGO 50% off so that was a plus. I will say the bulgogi beef and the marinated galbi were our favorite. Most of the meats were pretty fatty, but the quality is there. As for the sides they were all great for an AYCE restaurant. The banchans were also delicious and paired well with the meat. I would go back, it's a good place for kbbq in Houston!

Yelp
I absolutely love this place. The meats are of high quality and even the non bbq items are delicious as well. Some people would be overwhelmed by the fact that they have such a big menu but I love it! Especially because I think most of their items are delicious. Even their Korean ramen which is just just instant ramen slaps. It hits different. I'm telling you! Their grill cooks the meat fast and evenly which I appreciate considering some kbbq place grills are just terrible. I also like that you can reserve a table in advance. No need to wait a long time to get seated if you make a reservation! Staff are fast and friendly. I've been back 3 times now and I have loved each and every single time. I walk out extremely full and happy. I especially love the short rib and waygu beef belly. P.S. I really enjoyed their cold noodle. It's a shame it's only on C menu. I typically order B.

Yelp
Now it is AYCE Korean BBQ and Sushi, what a combo! I came here before they added Sushi to the deal and now with sushi a part of the dinner, it makes the food choice more fun. You order and they will bring the food to you. My suggestion is when you are ordering for the second round of BBQ meat, ask them for half portion so you will next waste food.

Yelp
Went with a friend for lunch (they will ask you at the front if you will bring lunch or dinner menu if you come in before 3:30 PM). The person taking care of us was named Thomas, and he was a very friendly guy and very attentive. Even noticed us struggling to cut something and gave us a new pair of scissors. In fact, everyone around was very on top of things. Service is 5/5 for sure. The food is also very delicious. Every round, we ordered the brisket and the wagyu beef belly. We also had the pork jowl, thick pork belly, beef bulgogi, and the sirloin steak. I also had lots of nigiri, which took a little longer to get to the table, but it's a KBBQ place first. However, I would not recommend getting the sirloin steak. Was a little tough. Everything else we ordered was fantastic! For the lunch price and service, absolutely worth it.

Yelp
Garosu is a trendy Korean BBQ joint with simple decor and soulful KPop setting the mood. The restaurant is clean and looks sleek. Service was fast and friendly, showing me to the bathroom and then seating me when I was ready. Like most Korean BBQ joints, the cooktop is in the center of the table. Servers brought out all the included sides which decorated the table nicely but did take up quite a lot of space. After ordering, dishes were brought out quickly and our server routinely changed the grill. My friend and I decided to choose the Platinum tier ($39.99) so that we could try anything on the menu. Note: The whole table must order the same tier. Towards the end of our meal, we referenced the Premium and Platinum menus and determined that our favorite selections were actually on both menus - so, I recommend going for the slightly cheaper Premium or B menu ($33.99). The cuts of meat were excellent quality. We ordered the black angus ribeye steak, the wagyu beef belly*, wagyu beef tongue, New York strip, sirloin steak*, black angus snow boneless short rib, prime beef brisket, chuck flap, and the black angus marinated short rib*. Favorites have an asterisk. Additionally, we ordered the buttered garlic shrimp and the spicy squid, which were both very flavorful. My favorite extras were the Korean glass noodles, the cheesy corn (came in a cute foil dish; I ate two!), and the crispy rice with spicy crab. We also ordered the seafood pancake. For dessert you could choose a Melona bar, B.B. Big, or ice cream cup. I chose the melon Melona bar (one of my favorites) which was very refreshing and cool after a heavy dinner. Overall, my meal at Garosu Korean BBQ was a great experience. I will definitely return in the future.
