I’m getting braces on Thursday so I was so pleasantly surprised to find Garrett’s in the airport. I got Caramel Crisp and it was stale! It was inedible and I was too far to go back although I’m not sure what they could have done about it anyway. 🥺🍿

The rating has nothing to do with the popcorn because it was amazing as always and everything to do with the customer service at this location. For the amount of money it cost for the popcorn here, the expectation for the common courtesy of hello at a minimum is a must. Please work on your customer service here.

We were there on Tuesday the 26th during our connection to LA and we loved the service!!! He was as friendly and nice as can be and all the popcorn we took was exceptional, our fav the caramel ones. For sure is a most stop at Dallas Airport

This place was the only reason I flew into DFW. Now ... it's closed. America's popcorn should reside by America's team with the big blue star. So long little shop between gates B27 and B28.

I needed a little snack and decided to give this place a try. I ordered a small and the clerk asked me if I ever had the popcorn which I had not and he proceeded to give me a sample and it was amazing. I wound up ordering a large and he said now you have enough to share which once I tried it there's no way I was going to share it.

Caramel Crisp popcorn was excellent. Very good service as well. If you are in DFW terminal B give it a try.

Bought a medium bag of GarrettMix for nearly $8 today (08/30/2024) @ 12pm and the entire bag of popcorn was STALE!! Too bad I had already made it home before I noticed. Never again!

I ordered a large tin of the Chicago mix. Along with a medium bag of cheddar. I’m almost done with all it… it’s been a week 😅 I wish there was. Garrett’s where I live.

I absolutely adore Garrett Popcorn. I order it all the time from Chicago and it comes fresh, popped the day before I get it. I was excited to see a store in Terminal B and got a bag of my favorite Caramel Crunch. When I got home, I was disappointed to find it stale and old. Glad I didn't buy a $35 tin full.

What a wonderful surprise to see Garrett's popcorn at DFW! Of course, the popcorn is AHmazing! The "butter" is vegan. I'm not sure how that works but I'll take it.

Ahhh Garrett's.... I travel through DFW infrequently so I had completely forgotten that there was a Garrett here in Terminal B and was quite excited to see it! I was super tired but had to make a stop at Garrett for my Chicago Mix (cheddar and caramel popcorn). It was fresh and quite a nice treat! Five bucks for the small size wasn't bad, especially as the small size is actually enough to share with others.

I visited this location last night DFW @gate 27B. Waited in line for 20 minutes but that was ok as I knew what I was going to get. I am not complaining here, they had one associate, she was graceful, smiling as she worked very efficiently and gave each customer great care with grace. So impressed. 5 Stars. Try before you buy! At first bite, I was noooooooooo! This is not Garrett Popcorn quality! It was stale! I called customer service to let them know, not because I wanted them to give me something or replace my order but to fix the quality of their product at this location. I am still a loyal fan so my stars are mixture of my previous visit and this one. My previous comment from a while back: The BEST popcorn ever but what a drag that you have to spend money to travel in order to get the opportunity to enjoy this great wonder....5 stars for previous visits.

It's a Chi Town tradition.... Why is it famous? They have been popping gourmet corn since 1949 when they opened their first store at 10 West Madison Street. It's been said, "It's simply the best popcorn in the world. The Garrett Mix is the most addictive thing I've ever put in my mouth." I love it too. The Cashew Carmel Crisp is da bomb! -

Having lived in Chicago for years and having tried many others, when there's a crave, none other than "Garret's Cheddar and Caramel Mix" will do. Since moving to Dallas, not the same but many online tin purchases I've made. Ecstatic I am now to pick up a bag of "IT" freshly popped here at DFW. Fingers always dyed yellow at the end of the bag. Ratio of 3 savory pops of cheddar to 1 heavenly pop of caramel is how I love IT, Always have, Always will. CHEERS!

I first heard of Garrett's Popcorn when Oprah featured it on her "favorite things" ages ago. True to the hype, I must say that there aren't many things better than Garrett's Chicago Mix (caramel+cheddar) popcorn! Thankfully, I have another option outside of traveling to Chicago to get my hands on some of it! On his last business trip, the hubs stopped and grabbed me a bag and I'm in love-- again! As type this (with butter and sweetness) on my hands, I can vouch for the fact that the DFW location serves the same, amazing popcorn that I love in Chicago! If you haven't tried it, you MUST!

First Garrets popcorn shop I've seen in awhile, so we had to stop and get some. Little shop in DFW airport had a good selection. And we got cashew caramel corm and a three corn mix. Both had a great flavor, the best caramel flavor in the world in my opinion. The reason for the four star rating was the cashew corn was stale. No crunch at all, just a soft chew so it was either stale or the pit the caramel on incorrectly. Worth a taste first to make sure it is fresh.

The absolute best ever...if I'm not physically in Chicago I try and stop at any of the airport locations on layovers! The cheese and caramel mix! Theee best...

Old popcorn. Don't buy at the DFW airport. Wonderful at other locations where it is not multiple days old.

Been there twice. I got the crispy caramel when I went there for the first time. Since I saw the place on TV I always wanted to try. It was pretty good but not good enough to convince me for coming back. Second time I went there, I was on my way to my family's house and had 10 min to pick up souvenirs before departure. Since this place was right next to my gate I decided to pick up their cheese popcorn. They all LOVED it. I got a small bag but they all finished it so quick. I tried some too and it was delicious. Now I know every time I visit them, I will have to pick up some cheese popcorn for them :)

I am a huge fan of Garrett's popcorn. I moved to Orange County from Chicago 4 years ago and couldn't wait to get some flying through DFW. I bought 2 bags - Cheese and Chicago Mix, and unfortunately, even the day of, they were a bit chewy and stale tasting. Was a total disappointment :(. It's not to say I won't try them again, but I will definitely request a small sample before investing next time.

Garrett Popcorn you warm my heart. I love Garrett popcorn and ran into this location not realizing it was there. The person that helped me was so sweet and helpful. She must be use to seeing the joy that Garrett Popcorn brings to people because she just went along with my excitement. I bought a couple of things and she actually gave me a mini bag to eat in the go so I didn't have to open my tin at the airport . All in all, Garrett makes me happy and they can do no wrong in my eyes.

Here's a thought. Maybe update your information to let customers know that you were going to not serve them during Covid. I mean, it's popcorn, how hard is that? Updated. I added two stars because we love your product. So much that we made a trip from D over to B to grab some. Just need better communication on Yelp or Google that you're choosing to close during this mess.

The first time I saw this Garrett's I actually went in and asked what city we were in because I didn't know they'd expanded outside Chicago and I was certain we'd landed in Dallas. Second round I was much more with it and when I found out we'd have a layover in Dallas made sure to have a game plan to get my Garrett's fix. There really isn't much more to say other than Garrett's offers the best cheese popcorn and the best caramel popcorn. Throw the two together for a little Chicago mix and bam! Heaven in your mouth.

I use to live and work in Chicago for 25 years and always had Garrett's popcorn. I live in Texas now and still order online purchases. I haven't found any other popcorn business that even comes close to Garrett's. Absolutely delicious!! I make sure I order enough for the entire family. I have even had my friends ship me an order. Love it!

A tastes of Chicago in the Dallas airport! Fresh and tasty. The Chicago mix ( caramel and cheddar cheese) never disappoints.

By far the best popcorn in the world! I was dissapointed that I missed Garrets while on my recent trip to Chicago but when I seen them in Dallas I knew it was meant to be n had to buy a gallon of the delicousness! Currently munchin away...

I normally LOVE Garrett's. This location was a let down, popcorn is not fresh at all and pretty stale. Flavor is still good though. Maybe only get it if you have an early morning flight

What a waste. This company seemed good and they don't update anything. All locations are closed. I'm officially off the Garrett's popcorn bandwagon. Lazy owners/managers can't update anything. Goodbye Garrett's

We had a long layover in Dallas and we were walking around looking for food when we stumbled upon Garrett's! We love their popcorn and always grab a bag when in Chicago. Sometimes, when I fly United, I'll even pay the overpriced fee for a small sampling. So when I saw they had a stand in the airport, I was sold. My wife and I got a large bag and we finished the whole thing! Just as good as the stands in Chicago.

***Garrett popcorn is now conveniently located at DFW though in one of the smaller terminals; the popcorn is good though not quite as good as what you will find in their Chicago or even Las Vegas and New York locations*** Garrett popcorn would definitely be considered a place for tourists. In Chicago, you will find their locations in many touristy areas whether it is the airport or the Magnificent Mile. Tourists create long lines at these locations and snap photos here and there. And at O'Hare, you will see people carrying bags and bags of popcorn to take home like that popular pink donut box place in Portland, Oregon. The reality with Garrett though is that it is also unique and quite delicious. The popcorn is always fresh with big fluffy pieces. They do not use preservatives, which means the popcorn will taste completely different in a few days where the popcorn will go from satisfyingly crunchy to unpleasantly squishy very quickly. The flavor is great too. The cheese popcorn has a great salty element without that dry powdery taste you get from most cheese popcorn. The caramel popcorn has an unbelievable crunch with the well coated caramel that ensures that each popcorn morsel is 100% coated without having those bits where the caramel accumulates too much and creates a toffee-like experience. The flavor has a deep caramel flavor that isn't too sweet and has even a salted caramel-like note. And when you combine the cheese with the caramel, it (maybe even surprisingly) becomes the perfect combination of salty and sweet. Garrett is expanding and you will find a new location at DFW. It is in the smaller American Airlines terminal featuring their American Eagle brand (regional flights), but you can easily get to this terminal from any DFW terminal via the SkyLink light rail. This Garrett is like any other Garrett where you can get reasonably priced popcorn in wax paper bags or you can opt for a more gift-like choice with their collectible tins, which are quite expensive. The popcorn is good here though I felt the seasoning was not as pronounced. I think they needed a little more cheese to bring the salty element out. More caramel would have added a more distinct crunch too. Still, this is a very good food item to take home or wherever you are going or visiting. Service was quick. Garrett is a great addition to DFW. It is definitely worth checking out (and going out of your way with the SkyLink) if you have never been. Garrett is located past security so it is only available to air travelers. DFW offers several offsite parking structures though it can take a long time to get from parking to your terminal given the vast amount of land that DFW takes up.

Awesome popcorn! I went with caramel cashew and it did not disappoint! A little pricey, but it's so worth the splurge! I've been so disappointed when my craving for the stuff that comes in the box with a prize the last few times I've had it, so this was wonderful! Next time I'm going to try the cheese one!

DON'T BUY POPCORN HERE AT NIGHT. I was on late flight from DFW to ONT. I decided to bring home Garrett's popcorn home because my grandchildren love it. My daughter from Chicago always bring home at least 3 large bags everytime she visits LA. When I opened the bag, my grand kids were all so excited and were trying to out beat each other as to who was going to eat the first fistful of popcorn. They were all disappointed because it was so stale that I had to throw the whole bags away. Nobody wanted to eat the stale popcorn anymore,

This is located in Terminal B, so if you are there already-GO. If you are in another terminal, take the shuttle if you have time. One time I took the shuttle to terminal B after my flight landed, just so I could grab a bag of Garrett's- it's that good. This is the same popcorn as in Chicago. They let you sample the different flavors and mix whatever you want. I started to buy a tin, but the cashier told me I would actually get more if I bought the bag, she was right. Whenever I am flying DFW, especially Terminal B, this will be one of my stops.

Great popcorn, but goodness sakes....it would not take much effort to keep your store hours updated as to not waste your loyal consumers time by going to closed locations.

I've had them before from Chicago but I don't recall my fingers turning yellow from eating the buttery popcorn. Took awhile to get off which was annoying. The cashier was sweeping the floors before I got there and continued to sweep even after I started taking out my credit card and wasn't looking at the menu anymore. For a person that had a tight connecting flight trying to grab a quick snack, I was a bit impatient unfortunately.

I was pleasantly surprised to find a Garret's Popcorn in the DFW airport during my layover. I of course had to get a bag of the Garrett Popcorn Mix to enjoy on my return flight home. The staff was friendly and the store was clean and inviting. They are located at Terminal B27 and I was told they will have a location opening in the A Terminal come this fall for all you travelers who may be craving some yummy popcorn!

Got a recommendation to visit Garrett Popcorn shop and was not disappointed! The cheddar popcorn was amazing but very rich. Be prepared to walk around with orange fingers for the rest of the day. Great food will be a repeat customer!

This stuff is excellent. They have a shop in Terminal A. Made my 8 hour + visit to he airport a little better....

Best popcorn EVER!!! Try it before it runs out. YES, they run out. I get one bag of each to take home, whenever I see a store, everyone is forever thankful. You won't regret buying some for the plane ride or the car ride home.

Love my Garrett's! Got it at the Chicago Airport (ORD) and had an excellent flight home. Carmel-Cashew is my favorite. Fast service at the airport!

Disappointed with the Cheesecorn, so much saltier than the ones I have in Chicago They could last for a week though, which the Chicago ones couldn't

I was happy to find them, in a place other than Chicago, since I don't get there much. Their popcorn is fresh and tasty. I love the Garrett mix; just wish they were a little cheaper is why only 4 stars. I will continue to go to terminal B when I have time to stop and pick some up before or after a flt to DFW.

Whenever I see a Garrett's popcorn I nearly break my neck trying to taste the delicious buttery caramel popcorn that they have. Their staff is really nice, friendly, and the location is always clean and organize.

Insanely wonderful, incredibly bad for you and messy as hell! I got the mix and it is always awesome. I feel dirty and fat but damn, it's just so good!

They just opened April 27,2016 in the DFW international airport. I had to run in and get a bag as soon as my flight landed. Thankfully there was no line. Hey had samples too! Super please and glad the Chicago based popcorn is now here in Dallas for us all to enjoy!!

I have been trying to buy a bag of the cashew carmel for two weeks first at Chicago then at DFW. Neither one had the product just an empty space ! Kind of hard to sell and make money when you don't have what customers want !

I have been looking forward to getting this popcorn ever since i booked my trip. I was heartbroken, to say the least, when i arrived and saw the store was closed early (9PM). Not cool when your hours say you are open until 10PM.

Three stars because the cheese corn tasted stale at DFW airport. The pecan carmel corn was very good. At least you could see pecans!

Night manager (?) of Garrets was so helpful when I missed my flight connection, found all restaurants closed, and had to spend the night in DFW airport.Thank you for being so thoughtful!
