The best meal I've had in Spain. Garum 2.1 showcases regional cuisine in an elevated and delicious way. The menu was a la carte, but I encourage you to order several courses to taste through the menu. The small bites of morcilla and separately the chicharron were unusual and delicious. The salmorejo is a signature dish. And I recommend anything with the oxtail. The wine list was lengthy, but trust Carlos, he will guide you through with perfect pairings. The restaurant setting was a quiet oasis that was not easily apparent from the street view. The chef has been accruing professional accolades for over a decade. This is a true family-run restaurant offering amazing food and service.

If you are looking for creative and upscale versions of Spanish classics in Cordoba, do not miss an opportunity to dine at Garum 2.1. They have a small upscale (but not stuffy) dining room. Everything from the service to the wine recommendations and food were top notch. A little more pricey than your average restaurant in town, but not exorbitant and worth it.

What a perfect place. As if Cordoba did not already have enough to offer, this little haven of goodness just adds to the magic. It is more than food, it is an experience and a wonderful and pleasant one at that. This is not feeding, this is a journey for your tastebuds, intricate layers of meticulous flavour that can only come from a dedicated family who give their all to please. Full Marks, well done. We will be back, again and again.

If you are reading this, go ahead and make a reservation at Garum. It was one of the best dinning experiences we’ve ever had. This was definitely more of a fine dining experience. The food was creative and delicious. We tried various other salmorejo and did not like them. This one was one of the best bites of our entire trip. Everything was excellent including our waiter and the rest of the staff.

The serves are RIDICULOUSLY small. We ordered an pinxos size serve of pigs ear and 2 main meals from the menu. Although it was all delicious the serves of the main meals were 1-2 tablespoons of food on a large plate. Just ridiculous!!! The deserts were delicious and the largest portion size of our meal. We went to 2 Michelin restaurants in Jerez which far exceeded this restaurant. Disappointing.

Fantastic experience. The attention to detail is second to none, Carlos (waiter) was knowledgeable, capable and friendly. Salmorejos are highly recommended but the lechon is the best I have had in my life, hands down must try

There are so many wonderful restaurant options in Cordoba, we were lucky to try a few. We had the very best dining experience here of our 3 week Andalusia trip. The atmosphere & service is so excellent. The restaurant is run by a family & you can feel the love in the way it’s run. The menu has some really interesting items. The son speaks perfect English & he helped us choose our food & selected some great wines by our the glass for us to try. Do book as it’s quite small & do go, it’s amazing 🤩

Easily the best meal we had in Córdoba, especially after a few other highly commended places proved to be lacking in certain regards. We arrived for a late lunch with no booking and had impeccable, attentive service throughout, with our waiter (forgive me for not recalling his name) showing excellent knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm and care for the food being served. Every dish was an interesting experience, with even something like the fig starter having a twist, served with spicy piparras chilli’s. Portions are certainly towards tapas/nouvelle cuisine, but after 3 courses, we were satiated without being full.

Hungry ? Waiting for a big meal ? Don't go ! Awaiting your palate to explode ? Want a food orgasm? Never tried a mouse made of salmon ? Then yeah come here ! Just arrived to Cordoba after Madrid and I swear to god that this is one of the best gastro bars we have ever been to. Was not expecting to see it in Cordoba, thank you Chef, your work is for sure so much appreciated! Don't expect anything big and filling but prepare your mouth to taste something unusual and different. Salmorejo amontillado - just trust your ears and let the Spanish guitar take you to an incredible food path. I can't explain what it tastes like but I will definitely never forget it. Smoked octopus with pig's ear - again trust your palate desire and try it , it is a very unexpected union of the octopus and pig but they married so well on that purée pillow. Pistacho mazamorra - just order it. I was surprised to taste white wine frozen in the jelly cubes. Thank you Chef ! You made our Cordoba welcome something special !

Amazing service and great food. Frank was our server. The cheese plate, eggplant with honey and cheesecake were the best.

Everything that we ordered were great. The price was reasonable and the staff didn't mind that we didn't speak any Spanish. They were attentive and kind.

Great location, awesome roof top bar. .friendly staff..food was amazingly good..very reasonably priced..the local vino selection was great..my girlfriend and I came 2x..it was that good..the oxtail churro was crazy..will recommend

Since I was alone and feeling fancy, I ended up at Garum 2.1, a well-known bistro tapas bar with award-winning food items (or so they said). All the Spaniards told me that I had to try two items in Cordoba: salmojero (basically a creamy gazpacho) and rabo del toro (oxtail). The waiter recommended I try the salmojero that had won some gastronomic award, so I ordered a bowl of that and of the rabo. Both dishes were, in my humble opinion, mind-blowingly amazing. The salmojero was creamy and well-seasoned, and the rabo was perfectly tender and fell right off the bone. Easily one of the best meals I've had in Spain. Service was excellent, prices weren't too bad (a little higher than average), and food was amazing. Very chic and modern - I would definitely come back!

We landed in Córdoba with intrepid tour and went here for lunch,it did not disappoint .the double crispy fried pork is to die for. So we went again for dinner Amazing place

Excellent service and the food exceeded my expectations. I had the award winning salmorejo and a couple tapas dishes. Everything was cooked to perfection, offering a mix of flavors. Highly recommend if you enjoy gourmet, reasonably priced food.

Maybe I ordered the wrong thing and gazpacho is not for me. I had the oxtail and its too many for one person. Higher than average price. They gave me free bread which is great. And the servers are very nice.

I was not really a fan of this place despite having sought it out for the fantastic reviews it received. We ordered the special menú del día which was the pricier of the two set lunch menus and consisted of 6 dishes. Half of them were really bad to inedible. To start we had the mazamorra which tasted kind of like uncooked pancake batter. Then we had ortiguillas (fried sea anemone) which were fried and battered nicely but just wasn't my thing. We also had a squid ink croquette which was excellent and it was the highlight of our lunch. The other three dishes I honestly can't even remember what they were nor did I really understand what they were anyway, but they were no better than the croquettes and pretty bad all around. Pricey for not really good food, but it is possible that we just didn't order correctly. On the flip side, I got a glass of their Garum wine and it was pretty good.

This place was recommended by our landlord in Cordoba and we thought the food and atmosphere were not that great. We ordered a twice cooked pork concoction and it was mainly bones and fried skin with minuscule meat. The other dishes were forgettable but they did have excellent red wine. Our server was average at best but he did speak four languages well enough. We wouldn't return.

Great high-end tapas bar. Modern design, chic interior. Very popular with locals. (No english menu.) Recommended.
