"WIth an expansive outside patio, endless $9 carafes, $3 bloody marys, and an 11 a.m. opening time, Gary Lee’s Motor Club and Grub is an excellent option for mornings with a slow start and perpetually late friends. With sun-soaked benches and fire pits hidden in the shade, Gary Lee’s patio can withstand the unpredictability of Denver’s spring weather and balance weekend rushes with ease. Diners will find a few twists on standard brunch with the bacon-stuffed waffles and prosciutto Benedict, though staple breakfast dishes still dominate the menu." - Camila Navarrette

Good food, made in house. Daily drink specials that are actually special. Decor that works the theme to the hilt without being kitschy or corny. Genuinely easygoing people working the bar and the floor. EVERYTHING I appreciate in a neighborhood bar!

Cool spot in an old car garage. Food was tasty and the taps were great!

One of the best new places I've been to! I'm not a huge fan of pulled pork and this was one of the best I've ever eaten, perfectly smoked. Wonderfully attentive service, fantastic atmosphere. You can tell Gary Lee thought of every detail and really cares about owning a business with the best standards. I'm a new regular!

I normally love this place. Gary was a great guy knew him personally and had many great talks. Gray knew about cooking great food and having great service. Since the new owner has taken over it has slowly slipped... Today was the worst service I have ever had there. Walked in and sat on the patio and waited and waited and waited.. for almost 10 minutes. No one greeted me. A group of 4 came in and they got immediate service. The waitress walked past me 3x and said nothing. Even got fresh water for the group's dogs. I never received a simple hello or any other acknowledgment. Unacceptable. Shame on the staff and ownership

It's definitely lost a lot of appeal since Gary passed away. The food doesn't taste as good or as fresh anymore and the staff aren't as friendly as they used to be. The type of crowd this place draws in has also changed quite a bit. The last time we visited, there was a table of about 6 and instead of sitting on the chairs, they were all sitting on the table. Not to mention, the drug use we blatantly saw...

The wait staff is nice here. I've been here for brunch a couple of times and their eggs Benedict are amazing. The muffin they use is cornmeal I think and it's so different and really satisfying in a down home country way. Yummy. They also have a huge patio front patio.

Great food: Check!! Great atmosphere: Check!! Great drinks: awww yea!! Great service: .... nope... We live just down the street and have been meaning to check this place out, friends said the food was delish. We decided to pop in last night and were surprised that the menu exceeded our 'club and grub' expectations. We loved looking at all the fun stuff in the dining room and the whole place was clearly really well done. Got off to a great start, ordered an app and two sandwiches. About 15 minutes later, our two sandwiches arrived. We mentioned nothing to the runner who offered anything else. I was sure our server would check back shortly after we tried our food anyway, and it looked delicious. Our server didn't arrive until I flagged him down, just as we were finishing our meal. I reminded him that we had ordered the appetizer. He quickly responded with a comment about being so preoccupied with getting our sandwich order right that he had forgotten. We hadn't modified or complicated our order whatsoever, and it was not at all busy inside. He appeared again almost immediately with a spectacular drink in hand. We had mentioned earlier that it looked good. We both agreed to our server - "Good recovery!" and moved along. Another 15 minutes later, our poppers arrive. The kicker - we were charged for the poppers our server had forgotten, AND the drink that no one ordered! Bad service, and an even crappier comeback after we had addressed it!

Very cool place. Motorcycle parking, free band, fire pit...feels like Saturday night outside your buddies hot rod garage.
