Garys Pokemart

Went on the website to see if this shop had some nice graded cards for my collection. Not only there was nothing on the website besides sealed vintage, these vintages are going over market value. 1st Edition Shadowless Base Boostsd goes for arould $2000-$3500- maybe higher if it is graded. How are you gonna sell an ungraded card pack for ALMOST $9000? Looking up the highest listing to use as an indicator is not a smart move, unless you want less buisness and unhappy customers

Met the owner at a convention and I found him to be extremely rude when I wanted to see his card collection. Great selection of cards but he told me to not “waste his time” for looking at the cards. It’s pretty common for people to look at cards at a convention where the norm is looking at cards. For him to behave this rudely was out of line.

I can't find i tcgplayer account for this store but i see why it is getting a lot of 1 stars reviews because legit they have a scovillain ex english, here is the crazy part they are selling it for 5 dollars i see why people are upset with them because of their price tcgplayer is a good way to sell cards this is crazy they would increase their sells 10x if they would just lower there prices to legit market like pokedata.io or even pricecharting but they legit have only have 246 items sold it is legit their being stupid on there own 4 years old and wow 246 i have more sold in a year on tcgplayer 500+ I am done gl gl be better then them people

As a Pokémon enthusiast, I know when people are talking Pokémon. The people at Gary’s pokémart were talking Pokémon.I bought a psa 9 mew ex (Paldean fates) card there. It was a very respectable price. Cards were a good price, people were very nice, and there were many cool collectors’ cards to add to your collection. Overall a great experience. Go here if you want to add to your collection:)

Great selection of singles and cards. A little bit over standard pricing however the owner is super nice and lots of great cards.

Cole and Wyatt were awesome! They gave great advice for card collectors and those who want to play Pokémon. My husband got everything he needed and more. They are super personable and knowledgeable. They also had Lorcana which was nice because there was something for both my husband and I. I collect Lorcana he collects Pokémon. Prices were fair and they even had some good deals running. We came for the cards and stayed for the energy!

Y'all are trash couldn't even offer me a decent deal. I was able to get 20$ off more than my asking price for similar stock from another seller at the event I went to.

A lot of shops I've been to in the area aren't great when it comes to customer service and Gary's is no exception. I've been to the Woodland Hills location twice now with an attempt to go a 3rd time and I'm glad I didn't waste my time. First off, Like most shops, you'll typically find everything in the realm of 20-30% above market. Not really a breaking point for me but it doesn't help. Plus this location is about the size of my closet so the selection is pretty limited. The corners are stacked up with bulk, old boxes, bags, and basically garbage so don't get that confused for inventory. The first time I went I was greeted by a new employee that could barely answer any of my questions regarding products and selection. He was pretty new so it wasn't necessarily his fault but disappointing when you're trying to make an informed decision. The second time, I was actually greeted by a nice and helpful woman. Was looking to sell some cards so she told me to contact Gary the next day because he'd be in. When I called Gary the next day, he was short with me and didn't seem like he was really interested in doing business. I shrugged it off as him being a busy guy and set up a tentative time to meet him at the shop at 4pm. He said he'd be at the shop until about 6:30pm. When I called him around 4pm to confirm, he pressed me about what time I'd get there. He specifically told me that he wanted to leave the shop early to go to a football game and sounded irritated that I'm inconveniencing him from that. So I suppose my business isn't important enough to sound inviting and encourage my visit. It was especially disappointing to receive this level of service from the actual owner of the shop. Ultimately, I suppose this shop is for people who don't really know (or care) what they're looking for or for "business only" types of transactions.

You know what I came here in good faith for my daughter trying to find her cards and sell stuff she doesn't want from her personal collection she's only 11 yrs old which I have explained to Gary's employees that my daughter had just started this hobby for 1 1/2 months, I brought in her PSA 5 GROUDON hoping to sell and was convinced by a worker there that our GROUDON PSA 5 Is not worth nothing but a $5 trade for a promo Jolteon... and that they would just give it away to kids for free and that's what made me decide YES I'll do it, tell me why GARY I come into your shop a week later and you guys are selling it for $30. YALL COULD HAVE ATLEAST GAVE MY DAUGHTER A FAIR TRADE AT EVEN 60%, yall gave me and my daughter 16.67% in trade, how does it feel to ROB a kid for their candy??!?!?!?????!!? I get how the business is getting but over $1..... Yall TRIPPING OUT THERE WOODLAND HILLS! Gary's PokeMart! Sheeeeeesh never again.

Just another scalper shop that sells 20-30% above market price. Single selection is okay but are also way above market.

Stop by real quick to check out the Pokémart and end up purchase a box in a binder and the owner gave me 3 free packs the first pack I opened. I end up packing this beautiful Charizard card it was so much fun and everybody that was inside. The Pokémart store exploded the experience, and the fun and the joy. I had at Garys PokeMart brings back many childhood memories. It took me way back to the time I was collecting. The hobby is alive and cannot wait to come back awesome fun and great time. Gary and his staff are fantastic

This store is perfect for collectibles and the employees were friendly and knowledgeable. My son's 13th birthday was made extra special by this unique store!

Omg I love the pokemart ther are so nice and have a big selection new modern vintage I purchased the new obsidian flames box, and he threw in 2 free additional packs and my favorite water Pokémon thanks Gary definitely will come back

This is a serious collectors' shop. But don't be discouraged if you're a regular Pokemon player. They have many reasonably priced options (individual cards, boxes, etc.) in addition to some very valuable (and cool to look at!) cards. Very friendly proprietors who welcomed my kids aged 5 and 9. They "knew a lot about card grading too, which is the next level if you're going to value a card" said my 9 year old. He also said "the store was neat, tidy and organized".
