"Located in St. Augustine, Gas Full Service offers an eclectic menu with standout burgers and homemade salt and vinegar chips. The Half Tan burger is one of the most popular on the menu and features a half-pound patty, topped with “beer’mento” cheese (a savory combination of beer cheese and pimento cheese), slaw, bacon, fried pickles, lettuce, tomato, and onion." - Megan duBois

We used Google Assistant to book a reservation for 8 at 7:15pm on Saturday night, we walked up and sat immediately. (The people walking up at the time were in a 30 minute queue) We ordered drinks, appetizers, and main courses within 5 minutes. Server was spot on and knew her menu and yes she confirmed that her Grandmother would approve of the mustard greens and they were awesome. Everyone is our party was please with food, service, and atmosphere. Definitely a place to visit again when we come to St Augustine.

Google
This should tell you everything. While sitting at the table before we even left, we were discussing what we plan on ordering the next time we come back! We started with the Island marinated chicken wings. My husband is NOT a wing person AT ALL - he LOVED them and said he would want them again. My husband had the special - Cuban stuffed pork chop. If a deliciously marinated, double cut pork chop and a Cuban sandwich fell in love and had a baby, this would be the product of their delightful union. It was SO flavorful. He also had sweet potato fries that were fabulous. My mom had the 1/2 tank burger. It was so huge she had to smash it with her hands to even attempt taking a bite! The bacon was the perfect crisp and really great quality. I had the southern fried chicken pot pie. It was a fun twist on a beloved favorite. For dessert we shared the coconut creme brulee pie. It was a clever, fresh take on 2 classics. We will be back - soon!

Google
This place came highly recommended, both online and by the young man who checked me into my hotel room just down the street. The first time I went there, I was starving and ordered way too much food. I had the reuben rolls, Coleslaw and a black and blue burger. Everything was delicious but I could only eat about half. I liked it so much, I returned the next night and had the seared sesame shrimp. That was absolute heaven in a bowl. The sweet tea is also just perfect!

Google
Nothing fancy about the inside of this place. It's really a hole in the wall. Sometimes, those are BEST places to eat, and this was exactly the case! Let me tell you, they had OUT OF THIS WORLD AMAZING food!!! LOCAL sourced, GRASS fed, ground fresh daily, char grilled burgers is what we ordered. FYI: The "diner" style burgers are thinner "flat griddle top" cooked. We got the thicker "char grilled" burgers, which we highly recommend! We ordered the Black and Blue and Pimento cheese burgers. They were cooked perfectly to our liking. Med-well had just a very faint pink inside like Zaida, our ever so sweet and attentive waitress, explained to us when she inquired about what we liked/"what temperature" as they generally ask nowadays. Two of their burgers were featured on Food Network sometime ago. We see why now after eating here. The sweet potato fries were also the best we've ever had. For dessert, we got the coconut egg custard pie, which had a dollop of whipped cream, a strawberry, and a few blueberries on it. It was good. It's not the best (in our opinion) but good. Great pricing, we thought for a well enjoyed dinner out. Overall, we loved it and will be back if we're in the area again. It would be a must stop. Keep doing what you're doing!

Google
Was greeted when walked in and seated almost immediately. Ordered all the appetizers besides the fried green tomatoes. Every single item ordered was prepared fast and was delicious. We had a great server. The decor was cute. The only negative was the flies. But as always we will definitely be back!

Google
Stopped in for lunch today with a friend. Great experience and the burger was great too. They grind their own beef and make their own bread fresh! Great staff! Smaller niche burger place, worth your visit!

Google
I was super excited to check this DDD joint out. I started with the fried green tomatoes which were really, really good. Next was the burger, I ordered the double Black & Blue Bacon Burger which was good and a healthy portion. Unfortunately it wasn’t wow good, but still good. I was also fortunate enough to meet one of the owners and she was beyond nice. Check this place out for a fun time. I still love the fact this was an old gas station.

Google
Homely atmosphere, amazing food, great local beers... and I have got to give a big shout out to Tina who is the nicest server you've ever met. Would give 100 stars if I could. If you're around, this place is worth a wait for sure.

Alina R.

Yelp
The place was busy and packed which was a sign that it's a good local spot. From the moment, we walked in we were greeted and placed on a waiting list. We waited around 20 minutes and were seated. Our waitress was attentive and kind. My daughter ordered the blue cheese burger and the jerk chicken sandwich. Both were absolutely delicious. The place was clean, laid back and super cute! Perfect spot for a casual bite.

Yelp
GAS Full Service Restaurant - Kind of fun theme for a restaurant. You get the vibe from the stack of tires out front to the gas pump door handles on the entry doors. Interior decorating continues the theme. Our server, Lindy was very friendly and helped us navigate a few questions. We each found a craft beer to our liking, I settled on the Aardwolf Hipster Zeppelin, which is a Cherry Lime, what I'd call "semi sour" (not a big fan of sours but this was good and refreshing). They have a great selection of burgers. I chose the Half Tank Burger and let me say if I had been choosing the name, I would have gone with Full tank because I was happily full afterwards! Meat used for burgers was outstanding, very tender, local meat. Add some pimento cheese, slaw, really tasty bacon and a few fried pickles and what is not to like. I went with the basic Fries, which were okay but sampled the sweet potato fries, and they were really good. Not sure how we've missed this stop all these years, but we'll definitely be returning to fuel up again soon!

Sandra C.

Yelp
Small and quaint place, food was served hot and it was delicious. The server was informative, friendly and fast. I will most definitely come back to this place when I visit Saint Augustine.

Bill M.

Yelp
This was my second time here. Both were great but this one was very, very good. The burgers are huge. The chargrilled 1/2 lb burger patty is one hell of a meal. They cooked it perfectly. I requested medium rare, and expected them to do like most places and cool it at least medium. Nope, it was a little pink in the middle, and it was oh so juicy. The toppings vary with each burger, and they pile them on. We had a Tank, the Island, and the Jalapeno at the table and they all were consistently well done. The slaw was the only disappointment. They provide a write-up on the menu that had me salivating. The slaw came out with all the ingredients listed, but the dressing was weak and lacking in quantity. Everyone raved about the fries though, so this is pretty minor in the grand scheme. Finally, the service was stellar. Melitza was on top of every aspect of the meal. We were a group of 13 and she didn't miss a beat, I mean nothing. She was attentive and very pleasant. Ask for her section (the place is small, so if she's there, you'll probably get her). The place is small, so get there early or plan to wait. Parking is also a little tricky, but there's a dental place a couple doors down that will most likely be closed, so you can give that a shot Solid recommendation!!

Anthony P.

Yelp
Loved this place! Great spot with some delicious food! I highly recommend the chicken sandwich!! I will definitely be back! Service was super friendly and I loved the gas station theme. Not too pricey!

Genevieve F.

Yelp
The owner was our server and she was the vibe! It wasn't my first time and the food is always impressive and impressionable!

Lauren M.

Yelp
My husband found this place and we are in love!!! I called ahead because we had the kids with us and the lady who took my order was so nice despite the screaming behind me lol We ordered chicken nuggets and fries for the kids which they loved. The fries were nicely seasoned. Hubs got the half tank burger and it was amazing! I loved that it was topped with fried pickles- so tasty. I got the mushroom swiss bean burger on a gluten free bun and it was sooooooo good! I couldn't even tell that bun was gluten free and the burger was seasoned perfectly. We finished with the flourless chocolate cake which was so rich and yummy. It tasted like a melted chocolate bar. We also got the coconut creme brulee- what a cool combo of flavors! It was decadent and I liked the coconut twist. We will definitely be back!!!

Elizabeth B.

Yelp
What a great spot, parking was easy, the service was very friendly and the hamburgers were amazing. They are very gluten free friendly, try them out!

Hector R.

Yelp
12-28-24 lunch. So, when we entered, the place was dead. No lively atmosphere at all, no music nothing, completely silent! Once we sat down we ordered some drinks. Our waitress was freaking awesome and she was so nice but we just wanted a fun environment and this is not it. But, the people next to us ordered burgers and they looked amazing, but very huge, which is good if you like that, I do. We just wanted a fun and live atmosphere but it was so boring. I'm sure it's great, just not for us.

Matt K.

Yelp
And I thought Black Molly was noisy. Sat by a screamer. One and done for this place, and never received a refill on tea

Robbie C.

Yelp
Before our concert at the St. Augustine Amp, Mom and I visited GAS - Full Service Restaurant, a retro-modern, kitschy, burger and craft beer spot in a former gas station that is a favorite with locals and nationally (it was visited by the Food Network show Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives). Their craft beer selection was pretty impressive and had a good selection of local and high quality national brews. The Pleasure Chest by Playalinda really hit the spot. The Reuben rolls live up to their famous billing. They were very filling and the Russian dressing went perfectly with them. Both burgers we had were sizable and delicious. The Half Tank was tried on DDD and is worth a shot if you are hungry. Service was outstanding as well. Despite their unassuming location, GAS is definitely worth a trip!

Matt M.

Yelp
One word "Burgers" Want two words? "Big Burgers" I think you get the idea, big plates, big portions, lots of food. The other idea is that they are known for their burgers. Game. Set. Match. When you are coming over the Bridge of Lions, Gas will be on your right, with parking on the far side. There is a deck with wood rail, but no outside seating because it overlooks the road, do it would not be that scenic. Service was friendly and our server was very eager to make sure we were pleased with our food. Speaking of food, there is a diverse menu, but we stuck with the burgers because our server said "That is what we are known for". Sweet Potato Fries - solid choice, thin, salty and good. Regular fries - these were just okay, honestly I was not a huge fan. Fried Green Tomatoes - solid choice, dense coating, flavor bomb. Sara's Burger - most popular choice, topped with fried green tomatoes. Black and Blue Burger - my wife devoured these, said she would order it again and again. 1/2 Tank Burger - one of two options that have been shown on TV shows, I thought that warranted a look. Burger, pimento cheese, bacon, fried green tomatoes, slaw. After saying all that, it really was not my cup of tea, I found it hard to eat, over salted and just did not suit my flavor profile. Visually, it was pretty stunning. I loved the service of this restaurant and while not having a scenic outdoor view (a lot of St. Augustine restaurants have views), I liked the interior decor. And while I was not thrilled with my meal, there is plenty of items on the menu to try.

Amy S.

Yelp
Service was outstanding and the food was very good! We ordered the fried shrimp and homemade chili. Delicious!

Jessica S.

Yelp
Reviewed: Fried Green Tomatoes, sautéed catch of the day (Mahi) sandwich on brioche bun with pickles and lemon caper aioli, 1/2 tank burger, grilled shrimp kids meal. WHERE DO I BEGIN?! Found this place on Google, super cute ambience and nicely busy. Super clean. Waitress was Zada who is delightful. Good beer selection and I do love me a good pear vodka mule that's 8% alcohol. I've never had fried green tomatoes and they were greatly seasoned and came with ranch. My kid even ate them!! The sandwich came with a big piece of sautéed mahi and it was cooked to perfection. The lemon caper aioli was made well and really added to the flavor. The bun is a new recipe and it works. It was good to the last bite. The kids grilled shrimp was nicely seasoned and he kept asking for more after he was finished. Add the lemon, acidity makes the taste even better! Hubs had the 1/2 tank burger, which was huge and had crispy bacon and homemade pimento cheese that hubs said was the best he's ever had. ** tips and tricks*** add a fried green tomato for even further epicness! Would absolutely come here again!! Pic of tank burger attached.

Rick R.

Yelp
Zedawas the best. The 'Food Network' recommendations of the Jalepeno popper burger was great. Read recommendations on the Blackened swordfish was FANTASTIC! It was cooked to perfection. Ups on the sweet potato fries the fried green tomatoes and slaws.. Definitely a place I was looking forward to. It did not disappoint. I will go back again and again.

Mia L.

Yelp
Good experience. Great burger- we had the stuffed jalapeño burger which was unique and worth a try. The ribs were just ok. The kids meals were great. Cute place and good craft beer on tap for cheap. Wasn't a fan of the ribs.

Jonathan H.

Yelp
The vibe is cool here - casual, but hip and happening. They have a regular menu and a specials menu with some neat stuff on it. We got the jalapeño popper burger, which is tough to eat since it falls apart a bit, but SUPER good. The southern chicken pot pie was also really good as well, particularly the mashed potatoes! Service was quick and friendly too. This was really great, and we definitely recommend it you are in the St. Augustine area!

Big S.

Yelp
Let's begin with the service - it was excellent fast, professional and with a real smile! The food was mostly tasteless - sweet potatoes fries with cinnamon??? Dry and tasteless Rueben egg rolls- disappointing. Burgers - plain and simple... Coleslaw- very strange taste... Great location and nice atmosphere/ambiance

Rachael W.

Yelp
Dinner was fantastic. Burgers were unique and delicious. Servers were friendly and knowledgeable. Space is small, so prepare to wait on busy nights!

Debbie F.

Yelp
After years of trying to catch them open or remembering to stop when in the area, I did it. I am in celebration they are still loved and I know why now. Those chargrilled burgers on those buttery toasted buns with those crispy fries are so great. It was a experience as I adorned each bite. I am hooked and this is a place that should consider opening more locations. The building is themed from the first location and is they are right over the Lions bridge well within a great tourist area. The young adults working gave us great service and were very pleasant. I'll be back, again and again..

Rick P.

Yelp
Great burgers for our last night of vacation! The service was spot on for our group of 12. Our waitress was very fast, thorough and friendly! Everyone's food was very tasteful and cooked perfectly! We will return on our next visit to St. Augustine!

Jay G.

Yelp
Burgers were cooked to perfection with a delicious flavor and the buns were light and airy. I probably could have just eaten the bun by itself it was good. This was easily one of the best burgers I've ever eaten in my life.

Roger C.

Yelp
We've been coming to this local eatery near the Bridge of Lions since seeing it on Food Network. The staff is friendly and the former gas station full of quirky charm. They have the best burgers in St. Augustine and there's always something new and creative to try. On this visit we ordered an unfamiliar item from the daily specials: flash fried, slow roasted wings marinated in pineapple, tamari and ginger, half in Datil BBQ sauce and half in sweet Thai chile. They had lots of savory flavor but the Datil BBQ had less heat than I expected. When they arrived at the table I had prepared myself to endure some pain and had one of their Florida IPAs on draft ready at hand. I had to settle for delicious. We finished with a brûlée coconut cream pie. I prefer the flourless chocolate cake that was also a special which we've had in the past. Now we have to go back again soon for that!

Priscilla J.

Yelp
One of the best chicken sandwiches I've ever had and my guest enjoyed the burger, also with rave reviews. Service was wonderful too and the gas station theme was fun. The outside is simple and unassuming but the food and service are great!

Rachel B.

Yelp
Amazing food and equally great service. Zaida was the best waitress. Ribs, wings, shrimp and grits, Sammy chicken sandwich and can't forget the coconut crème brûlée! New family favorite!

Gayle B.

Yelp
Sorry to say we were expecting more after seeing the pics and reviews. We actually pulled in then left as it did not look open. I then called and asked. The food and service were good. Had the mushroom Swiss and a bacon burger.

Doug C.

Yelp
We had the pleasure last night to eat for the first time at Gas Full Service Restaurant. Started with a wonderful Irish Red Beer. We moved into the apps and ordered Onion Strings, Fried Green Tomatos, and Pimento Cheese. All were on point! My friend and I both ordered the Jalapeño Popper Burgers with sides of Datil Pepper Collard Greens. Both were absolutely delicious. We couldn't leave without trying the in house made desserts Flour less Chocolate Cake and Coconut Creme Brule Pie. To say the least we were fat ,dumb, and very happy! The owner Lindy came to our table a couple of times and she is a wonderful host!

Erin K.

Yelp
I am overly happy with the atmosphere, our waitress, food, the decor/ambience, beer/wine choices, & the location of this restaurant! 1,000% I will be returning. **HINT: Try the fried, green tomatoes: lightly breaded, well-seasoned, & fresh!

Paula C.

Yelp
While traveling to St Augustine we decided to try GAS and we were so happy with the food and the service. We had the jalapeño popper burger and it was so good it came with fries that were very crispy and delicious! Our daughter had the wings and they were very flavorful. We loved how the waitresses interacted with each other and us ! When in St Aug we will definitely go back !

Dana H.

Yelp
Great place for a great burger and cold beer! The owner popped over to our table and she was very nice and you can tell she loves what she does! Good food, good service and we will be back!

Leah A.

Yelp
I think my photos tells it all! The food at GAS is comforting and delicious. I just can't believe it's taken me so long to go here. The portions are ridiculously huge and each entrée I tried was on point paired perfectly with a homemade sauce. The fried green tomatoes is a staple and must eat no matter what you order. The Reuben rolls are an indulgence when you want something crispy and hot and salty and tangy and satisfying. Yum! The ribs, the burgers, the sandwiches, the shrimp po boy, the fried chicken... it's ALL just appetizing, delectable, delightful, distinctive, enjoyable, enticing, exquisite, heavenly, luscious, pleasant, rich, savory, sweet, tasty, tempting, yummy and all of the adjectives I can't think of right now. The owner is so gracious, down-to-earth and an overall good human being. The service is fast and friendly. And the desserts.....oh that Coconut Creamed Pie ya'll! Make sure you leave some room for it. Just saying. 5-STARS

Travis J.

Yelp
After seeing GAS full service resteraunt on the food network, they've been on my list of places to visit for some time! The jalapeño popper burger was on my radar and I had my tastebuds go on a magical trip of deliciousness! GAS uses house made ingredients, including the buns used for the burgers! The Jalapeño burger is cooked medium, and stuffed with cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and jalapeños, then breaded and fried! It is recommended to have the sandwich cool for a bit, then cut the sandwich in half, then eat it like a taco. Prepare to get messy with this! My wife had the Island burger that had a grilled pineapple, island slaw, thier island slaw, steak sauce, and Thai chili aioli! My wife enjoyed her burger, and said that it tasted fresh! I will make sure to stop by here, EVERY TIME THAT I'M IN TOWN!

P M.

Yelp
Of course I wanted to try the Jalapeño Popper Burger which I did, it's pretty good, it could be spicier. I'd have liked it more if it was spicier. I had the slaw instead of fries which was pretty good, it has peppers. My daughters liked the grilled cheese sandwiches (note, they are young women, not kids, it's not a kid grilled cheese) The ambience was nice and they have a interesting selection of craft beer on draft. I'm glad we visited, I'm not mad I ate here, but the burgers weren't the "best" we've ever had (my wife and son had the regular smash style burgers) so I don't think I'd come again. (Here on vacation)

William S.

Yelp
I've been here about 4 or 5 times. We live about 1.5hr away. Any trip to St. Augustine, if time allows, get a stop at Gas. Great little restaurant. One of the owners Lindy is super cool and loves her business and customers. They try and use local ingredients when they can. The food that they put out is awesome. We had the egg rolls (could eat a 100 of them), and two items off the specials menu. I'm guessing that menu is always good and gets ordered a lot. They had a St Patty's style burger with corned beef on top and a potato mash cake. Yums. I had a shrimp/sausage and grits. The blackened cream sauce was perfectly creamy, spicy and salty. The grits I could eat everyday. Wish I had some for breakfast tomorrow. If you are in town for the week, weekend, day or you live here go to Gas. Friendly people, great staff, executed menu, unique spot and food is just good. See you guys again soon!

Terry C.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing burgers! I've eaten burgers around the world and these were the best I've ever had (and I'm a retired restaurant owner)! Served with seasoned fries that were amazing also! Fantastic, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Service was great! The owner was very friendly and took the time out of her busy day to talk with us. The Gas will forever be our go to place whenever we're in town!

Alex S.

Yelp
Burger was fire! The meat was quality. The bun was so soft and butter toasted. Fries were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside...perfection! Ask for Tina!

Suzanne M.

Yelp
Wow! Amazing service, great beer selection too. The tropical wings to start did not disappoint and they went out of their way to do half with datil and half with Asian bbq sauce. The burgers...were the best we have ever had! Go chargrilled it was worth it! Fries were amazing! Toppings were unique and so fresh. Leaving super stuffed and super happy!

Dena T.

Yelp
We visited for lunch on a Tuesday in September. The restaurant was almost empty, and we were greeted and seated immediately after entering the giant front doors with the gas-pump handles (cute). The menu is focused on casual pub grub, nothing fancy but perfect for lunch. The restaurant itself frankly looks a little grubby inside and out, with a grimy-looking exterior and an all-black decor inside that looks dated and dirty. I didn't get much of the gas-station theme - I would have expected the tall old-timey gas pumps and cool automobilia on the walls. The burgers were fine, the service was good, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here again because of its appearance.

Sher E.

Yelp
Just Meh. After reading reviews this was very disappointing. Really thought this was supposed to be THE place for a memorable well seasoned and prepared burger.....because that's what they're famous for, right? What our party got was lackluster, little flavor, plain old meat on a bun and what seemed like frozen fries. Just not worth the hype...or the trip. It wasn't inedible....but expected more. Made me wonder who's going all the 4-5 star reviews. ‍

Anna L.

Yelp
We all had burgers, so yummy, so fresh with a unique ambiance. Then we had custard pie, one fed two.

Ray C.

Yelp
If you are in the Saint Augustine area this is a great place for a nice burger. Place has a cool concept and vibe.

Alison K.

Yelp
When we first arrived, we had been pretty sure there'd be no parking, but to our joy and surprise, there was plenty available! We were seated immediately and our hostess and waitress seemed genuinely happy to be there and were helpful, courteous and even applauded my husband's choice in entrée. For starters we ordered the fried green tomatoes and the reuben egg rolls. Oh my gosh!!! The fried green tomatoes were good, but not the best thing on the table. Those reuben rolls with matching dipping sauce were OUT OF THIS WORLD! Holy cow! For our entrées we ordered the fried chicken pot pie and I had their fresh catch of the day (flounder) as my entrée with a side of sweet potato fries and their full-service slaw. My husband enjoyed his chicken pot pie but was in way able to finish his meal but enjoyed it immensely. My flounder was absolutely delicious--so light and crispy...they even used panko bread crumbs in the breading! The sweet potato fries were perfectly crispy but the best thing that put me in heaven was that house-made coleslaw! Wow!!! Perfectly lightly dressed with just the right amount of lime and pepper. I could eat that every day ! I'm afraid we skipped dessert because we didn't finish our starters OR our entrées! But it sure sounded good... All in all, we've found yet another fantastic restaurant here in St. Augustine that we can frequent...

Leslie P.

Yelp
Lovely family-oriented and diner-esque ambiance, small and cozy space - only about 10 tables. Service was quick and our waitress was very sweet. Great craft beer selection with gluten free options and plenty of variety. My boyfriend and I split the half Mediterranean salad as an appetizer, and he got the island burger (I forgot to get a picture!) and I got the joes double cruiser. Quickly became my new favorite burger (and salad) place!! So good!!

Bronco B.

Yelp
Ambiance was fine, service was OK, my biggest issue with the whole reason we went there and it was so I could try the highly coveted jalapeno popper burger. My wife asked how it was and all I could say was "eh, the bread is good" to say I was disappointed would be an understatement. The cheese center did not cascade down as advertised, and the spice level was almost non existent. I don't know if my expectations were just too high or was the new guy messing with the recipe? Who knows? The sweet potato fries were on point though!

Ron J.

Yelp
Great experience, Delicious food It was my first visit to St. Augustine and I happened to stay near the restaurant. I had researched unique, must-try restaurants in St. Augustine and this was on the list. I also saw the video on YouTube. My first visit was at night to order Reuben Rolls to-go (delicious), and I had a beer in the bar area while I was waiting. Had a quick conversation with Lindy the owner. The next day I went back for lunch and to try the famous Jalapeno Popper Burger. Very friendly service, and while I was waiting at my table for my order, Lindy came by and she actually remembered my name. That is special service, and an owner that is passionate about offering a welcoming experience. She gave me a tip on eating that giant burger, which was to cut it in half without squishing it down, and then eat each side like a taco. Worked perfectly. The burger was exactly as described and very tasty. I see some complaints that the burger was not hot/spicy enough; I didn't expect that the burger would burn my mouth, and although I like spicy food, the slight heat was perfect for me. Highly recommended!!!

Cathy P.

Yelp
AWESOME FOOD, awesome service. This is why I love Yelp...I'm out of town looking for a local place to enjoy lunch...and I was not disappointed. The burgers were on point here. Ranging from beef patties to lots of vegetarian choices, there is something for everyone. I started with half a Mediterranean salad with the lemon basil vinegarette. It was so fresh! A spring mix tossed with lots of Kalamata olives, feta, cherry tomatoes, artichokes, diced cucumbers. I was so happy with starting this way. Next up was the Half Tank burger that boasted a beef patty, fried pickles, slaw, beer-mento cheese, smoked bacon, red onion, tomato, and lettuce. This stack was quite tall so get ready for some big bites and to get a little messy. It wasn't a large, wide traditional burger but smaller and taller. A show stopper. I was full and happy at the end, and thrilled I stopped at the GAS.

Nothing special food wise. The overall experience was just average at best. The novelty of this place is the draw but even that wouldn't bring me back for a second trip. Overall it was a bit of a let down.

Yelp
This funky little joint is the ideal Triple D location. It has great atmosphere, cool servers, and wonderful food. I'm a sucker for a great Cuban sandwich. When I seen the Cuban burger I immediately knew what I was going to eat. Let me tell you, this hit all the right marks for a Cuban sandwich. At first, the pork burger kinda makes you think twice. But, love at first bite! It's juicy, flavorful, and doesn't overpower the rest of the sandwich. I enjoyed the sweet potato fries and homemade bbq sauce. My wife honestly thought the grilled cheese sandwich was the best she's ever eaten. This is a compliment from her because she's eaten grilled cheese sandwiches from NYC to Anaheim CA. Lastly, I couldn't pass up an opportunity to try the Coconut custard brûlée pie. This is not an overly sweetened dessert, it's a wonderful combination of egg custard and coconut. Their brûlée top adds that perfect amount of burnt sugar sweetness and texture. Being an openly critical foodie, and this is not a complaint but merely my opinion. Personally, I believe a sugar crust would've worked well with this pie. I'm thankful that it wasn't a store bought graham cracker crust. 5 stars for an awesome dinner, great service, and a very enjoyable experience.
