This was such a blast to finally get the chance and go to the Gaslight Theatre! It was so much fun and I immediately recommended to family members that they should absolutely visit. I am so bummed I hadn’t gone earlier. The entertainment is very talented and so funny. I loved this overall experience. I can see why their shows sell so quickly. The seating is intimate as it is compact. You can reserve at a table or you can reserve a seat(s) more towards the front. I sat at a table. The table comes with a little free baggie of popcorn and you are provided with a menu to order from. You get food delivered right to you and you get to enjoy the show. The service was great. Waiters are friendly, quick, and polite. If you haven’t been here I am just saying you are missing out big time!

So much fun! I was not expecting to love every moment of this but my entire group had huge smiles on our faces! The talent was amazing and this is a must have experience

Always live going here. The shows are hilarious, the actors are great and the music during the show and the oleo afterwards is on point. Very professional musicians. We take all our visitors here if we can.

Google
Gaslight Theatre delivers a great value—good food, affordable drinks, and top-notch entertainment all in one place. If you’re after a night of laughter and memorable moments with family or friends, this is the spot to go. I can’t recommend it enough!

Google
Super fun location. We were visiting Tucson and bought tickets for The Beatles Brothers, acoustic cover band. I’d highly recommend 2 tables for 4 people. We were at table 6 and are fairly young. It was terribly cramped. I had to straddle the chair in front of me. You can’t get up without making the person in front of you standing up and removing the chair. The table was so small that our dinners didn’t fit so had to hold my plate. Food was okay. I’d eat before and just have beverages and desert. The music was great. Venue super fun. Even though it was cramped I’m still giving it 5 stars. I’d just reserve 2 tables next time.

Was invited by a friend. I have not been to the gaslight in years. Really glad I went. The food and drinks are very good. Be sure to try the adult milk shakes! The staff is friendly and very attentive. The show was great! Beach Blanket Bop is worth seeing. Had so much fun, I'll have to go back!

Google
This little theatre is a lot of fun. The plays that have are cute, fun and lively. They also serve food and drinks at your table. The staff that works there are wonderful. The desserts are great. We had a great time at the Gaslight theater. And we going back at the end of October to see Shriek.

Google
My family absolutely loves coming to see the shows at the Gaslight Theater! It's an affordable night of fun for the whole family and or guests visiting from out of town. Thank you to the cast and crew you all are very talented and make the night memorable🤗 Can't wait for the next show we're going to in December❣️

Yelp
What? You've been to Tucson and you haven't been to the Gaslight?Get your tickets early. This must see Tucson highlight is perfect for tourists and locals alike. For kids from 3 to 99 everyone is guaranteed an evening of song, laughter and boundless energy. Free popcorn on your table and surprisingly good pizza, snacks, beer and wine. Be sure to add ice cream. Reserve your tickets early and gee ready to cheer and applaud.

Yelp
Gaslight theater is a family friendly place with cheesy jokes and plenty of laughs. The cast puts a spin on their fun productions that delights their audience. The Gaslight band keeps everyone entertained during the intermission and during the show. You can order pizza, sweet treats and free popcorn is always a hit with my family. Get tickets early, especially for the Christmas show.
google avatar

Yelp
I love when we get to come here. It's a ride from Phoenix but such a cute place and great shows to boot. Our only issues from Phoenix took us 2 1/2 hours each way. But once you are there the fun begins! A great professional show that is well produced and acted!
google avatar

Mike M.

Yelp
Went to the Christmas show Scrooge. Gaslight always puts on a great show. The cast always interjects their own comedy into the show. I didn't get any pictures of the food because the theater was dark, however, the food in the service was great as well. If you have a chance to go to the theater and see one of their shows, it's a must.

Yelp
I used to love coming here as a kid, but my past two visits over the last couple of years have been frustratingly similar. You wait in line outside instead of immediately being let in. A lot of people don't even get their orders taken until after the show begins, meaning you miss parts of it while ordering, when food is delivered, or trying to flag down a server. Once the food is delivered, the servers seem to vanish, making it difficult to request anything else. They clearly need more staff to handle the crowd. The pizza and side salad were good, but they forgot the sides of ranch we ordered, and it took about 45 minutes to finally flag someone down to get it. If you plan to visit, I'd recommend eating before or after the show to avoid the hassle and distractions of the service issues.

Maribell C.

Yelp
From the time we walked in to purchase tickets to walking out of the show filled with joy. All of the service staff were very friendly, and super welcoming. Good food and beverage choices and throughout the show actors would involve the crowd to liven the show up. Loved it!

Yelp
What a delightful evening! The Doors Tribute show was terrific! "Jim Morrison" has the voice and the moves, and the other four members of the band are also excellent. The lead guitarist played three different guitars, depending on the song. The drummer and keyboard player were wonderful, and each had solos within the songs that showcased their talents. The bass player really rocked while playing, clearly enjoying himself. The audience loved the selection of songs sang along, rocking and rolling in their seats. We've been patrons of the GaslightTheater for forty years. We enjoyed dozens of Gaslight shows when our daughter was young. A couple years ago, the philosophy must have been to pack 'em in; four people were jammed around small tables and a party of two were assigned another party of two, which was super crowded and awkward. So we didn't go anymore. When I called to reserve seats for this show, I was assured that the hub and I would have a table to ourselves and what a difference that made! At least half the tables were occupied by two. The show was at six, so we planned on dining there. Our server was excellent: so friendly and efficient you would never guess she had dozens of tables to take care of. Our pizza arrived hot and delicious, and she checked back often to assess how things were. Very much looking forward to our next Gaslight visit.

Yelp
Came on a Thursday night for their show and it was a full house! The play itself was very enjoyable. Our seats were a little obstructed but was still able to see 90% of what was going on. For the price, it wasn't bad at all. We also ordered an everything pizza and their fried platter. Both were fresh and delicious! Service was great and sodas get free refills! They also give free popcorn to every table. Overall, we really enjoyed our time. This is a great date night place. We'll definitely be back for other shows!

Yelp
Went on 7-24-25 with our 8 and 10 year old granddaughters. We all loved the show and food. Everything was very reasonably priced. The actors were talented and funny!

Yelp
If I could give 10 stars I would! The evening was so much fun!!! Not only was the performance amazing but the wait staff was incredible as well! My mom and I were visiting from out of town and saw Back To the West and we can't wait to visit again and see the next show. Thank you so so much to everyone at Gaslight for creating such a fun atmosphere and an AMAZING performance!

Sophie C.

Yelp
I have lived in Tucson for 21 years and never in my life heard about this place which should not be the way. My best friend and I had such a good experience here. The food is great. The service is wonderful and the show was amazing. At the end, we wanted to take a picture but couldn't find anyone but eventually found someone and the guy was so respectful and so nice great atmosphere great prices 10/10 would go back
google avatar

James C.

Yelp
Always a great time and such good entertainment. I truly enjoy the shows and even when it looks sold out call and get on the wait list. People cancel every show. There is no bad seat in the house. Yes, some are better than others and the table next to you is really close. Hopefully you get good neighbors so your show is not disturbed. Definitely catch a show when you can. The food and drink are great just order early to avoid the distractions during the show.
google avatar

Rachel C.

Yelp
Our charity bought out the whole theatre and did our first fundraiser at the Gaslight over the weekend and the whole experience was amazing! Not only was the show Spider Guy quite entertaining, but the staff was so great to work with and very accommodating. I'll be back as a theatre goer and customer again soon!

Yelp
I was given a gift certificate to gaslight theater as a bridal shower gift. Finally, I redeemed it and had a wonderful experience. Gaslight theater offers diners the opportunity to get food, shakes, drinks, alcohol beverages before watching the performance. We saw the show Revengers, which is a spoof of the Avengers series. It was a delight to watch. I didn't know what to expect and I went with my husband and some friends from church. By the time we left, we just couldn't wait to come back and bought tickets to return. There is a live band that plays the music, while other performers sing familiar and classic hits. When the show is over, there was a bonus performance with the Brady Bunch like story. What a wonderful gift to Tucson. Do check it out.

Yelp
Our first time at gaslight was to see their 50's twist on the Christmas Carol. Pizza was good, drinks were good, the talent was amazing. If you get claustrophobic you might want to find a balcony seat where tables are a bit more spread out, or else you'll be shoulder to shoulder with the table next to you. It was ironic we got to see a fun production of a Christmas Carol, because the host was a big Scrooge himself. Big old guy at the host's stand giving grumpy looks at everyone, and bossing his teenage waitresses around. This poor girl was so busy running around getting the place ready for the show and he pulled her aside to scold her for something right in front of us. I couldn't hear what it was about but it was something an old guy with a power trip over teenage girls would get bossy about. Then he made her seat us while she was obviously upset and stressed. Felt terrible. I hope it was a one off thing and that he doesn't treat the rest of the employees like that.

Yelp
The Gaslight is all the things you wished your High School Drama class was, but never quite got right. We usually sit on the main level but we got a table in the balcony this time and it was great. The show was fun and light hearted, with actors who are great performers and creative sets and costumes. The house band is only three people (piano, bass and drums) but they make you think there's a whole orchestra performing. We saw the Lord of the Rings parody and my kids loved all the campy, slapstick humor. The Keebler elf and Papa Smurf make cameo appearances. My kids devoured the free popcorn that each table has. We ordered the appetizer combo (lots of fried stuff) and a large cheese pizza. They did not skimp on the cheese. The Gaslight is a Tucson institution and make sure to stay after the show for the Gong show!
google avatar

Trevor C.

Yelp
Wow, what an amazing performance! Revengers was so much fun. Great performers and I really enjoyed the interaction between the actors and the audience. Looking forward to the next one Henry Porter I can't wait!

Yelp
What a fantastic and awesome time we had here last night. 04/06/24. This was our first time here, and it was absolutely great!!! We were in from out of town Richmond, TX visiting our friend from the area. The thin crust pizza was really good. The staff was friendly. The wait staff were very quick and supportive to our needs....thanks Tiffany!!! Not to mention the show, cast of characters and musicians totally blown away with the production. It was first class Harlies Angels was very well put together and very funny and entertaining!!! I can see why this has been a Tucson staple within the community!! We will be back!!!

Yelp
Very nice venue for a concert. Last time I went to a concert at gaslight theater. It was on the north side of Tucson, and it was definitely worth it. The only downside to the theater in my opinion is the seating is so tight that it is very difficult for the servers to squeeze through. Several times my date had to get up out of her chair to let somebody get through and it disrupts the flow of the concert. But for the most part, the concert was rolling, fun and enjoyable. We could see perfectly, and the acoustics were very good. Would definitely consider coming again.

Yelp
What a fun evening! On our recent family trip to Tucson we had heard about the Gaslight Theatre and had to book a show. We saw Shriek! Which was a hilarious send up of Shrek. The cast was hilarious and the staff was courteous. We had wheelchair seating and were provided early access to the theatre to ensure no crowd issues. We will definitely be making a future visit!
google avatar

Gene T.

Yelp
Always fun. Great entertainment. You do not come for the food. Although they offer quite a selection. It is all about letting go and enjoying. Try not to sit on the sides if you are close to the front. The speakers do not successfully cover that area. It is muffled and hard to understand. Despite being close. We sat next to the piano player and considers leaving because the speaker system could not access our area. Piano was not overly loud. Just poor sound setup.

Yelp
A small-town christmas- still great after 40 years! We love the appetizers and wings.

Yelp
Went to the Gaslight Theater today for the first time ever and had a blast! My boyfriend and I went to go see Space Wars and it was hilarious. We loved the parody on Star Wars. Also the acting and singing and dancing from all the actors was spot on. The food served comes from the diner next door. To get your food on time before the show starts definitely get there early...otherwise you will be waiting a while for food and drinks. We love the experience so much we have already bought tickets to the Halloween show later this year and we will be buying tickets for ourselves and parents for the Christmas show. Can't wait!

Yelp
After many many years of patronizing the Gaslight Theatre, we experienced treatment from the 2 staff members that we encountered was ruder than ever encountered at any entertainment venue. First was the "greeter/check-in person". Our party dined at Little Anthony's adjacent to the theatre and proceeded to the hallway between the two to await admission to the theatre. This person spoke with us several times while we were waiting. Then when the time neared to open the doors, he very rudely demanded that we go to the end of the line that had formed in the parking lot while we were waiting. At no time did he indicate that we were waiting at the wrong location. THEN after we were seated in the theatre the waitress for our row completely ignored our party until after the show had started although the rest of the tables in the row had not only ordered but also received their order. We had a very simple order - a pitcher of soda, a hot chocolate and a glass of wine. We did not receive the order until INTERMISSION. When questioned about the delay she was very rude and offered no apology or explanation. To top it off the soda was warm, flat - no carbonation and undrinkable as if it had been tapped at sat for an extended period of time. She never returned to check whether we needed/wanted anything until she delivered the check and collect payment. The show and olio performance was excellent and would deserve 5 stars but the overall experience was ruined by these 2 individuals, hence the 1 star rating.

Mike O.

Yelp
We were delighted to host a group of 50 people for the Christmas Show, "A Small Town Christmas". I made reservations in June and was thrilled with how well Sharon and her team handled everything for our night out in December. Our group had a great time and enjoyed the funny and talented cast. They even said they would love to come again. Gas Light served delicious drinks, pizza, and hot dogs, making the evening even more memorable. We are grateful to Gas Light for being a Tucson tradition and look forward to doing it again. Thank you! Mike Orcutt, President AHEPA Lodge #275 Tucson

Yelp
The actors were having a blast and it's fun that they interact with the audience. So much fun!

Yelp
The Gaslight Theater has been entertaining Tucson for longer than I've been alive - well over 40 years - and for the same reason. It's absolutely top-shelf fantastic! When you think about Tucson icons that have been around this long, the list is short but distinguished and being included with names like Caruso's and El Charro says a WHOLE lot about reliable, consistent, amazing quality and service. I'm a Tucson Native and have been attending Gaslight shows since I was a baby. We see every single one and they're always funny. The slapstick melodramas are family friendly, entertaining for all ages, and consistently excellent. It's a must-do anytime we have someone in town, even if we've already see the show that's running. The food is a trimmed down menu from Little Anthony's Diner & Grandma Tony's Pizza - the "best pizza in Tucson!" They also have a full bar and, of course, amazing ice cream desserts! The music is exceptionally well done, the acting is fantastic, and I love how much the cast engages with the crowd. It's a hilarious adventure and every single show is different. My favorite is when the actors mess with one another or someone makes a mistake - watching them recover is always better than if they'd nailed the line. I'd give it more than 5 stars if I could, but 5 will have to do. If you've been, you already know... and if you haven't been, call the box office and buy tickets to a show immediately! You'll be glad you did. They're definitely worthy of being on Broadway... ... Broadway & Kolb!

Yelp
I took my kids to Harlie's Angels last night, but it doesn't really matter what the theme of the show its. It's always a good time at the Gaslight Theatre! The Gaslight is a small venue so there's no such thing as 'nose bleed seats' but you will be close to your neighbors. Everybody's in good spirits, so it's not an issue. We already have tickets for the next show!
google avatar

Kelsey F.

Yelp
Words can't describe how authentic and real the Gaslight Theatre is. We had to pleasure of watching Arizona Smith last night and I will definitely be coming back. . Everyone had their own table with complimentary popcorn. As well as a full menu of 50's style food and pizza!! We both got milkshakes; my husband got a chocolate shake and I got the 009 which had coffee ice cream, chocolate cake, and Kahlúa. It was absolutely delicious. We cannot wait to come back with the whole family.
google avatar

Abby E.

Yelp
I've been coming here for years (nearly 20). I've had some great memories here and love the staff dearly. One thing that has bothered me for a few years now is the manager. I'm so completely over the guilt trip from the GM with shoulder-length brown hair. "I've been here all day, this is our fourth show." Well guess what, Becky, I too get to work long hours sometimes. If you don't like your job, quit. The fact you only have five servers in one specific night isn't my problem, it's yours. To say "I have five servers for 71 tables" does nothing for me. In fact, it makes me think you're a manager for spreading your team so thin. Do better for them. Stop complaining and guilt-tripping your customers, it doesn't work and you look and sound ridiculous when you say these things.

Yelp
Attended the Sons of the Pioneers concert at the Gaslight in January. First of all - great concert ! Took several family members - we all had a great time ! Service, as usually, was top notch all evening. We ordered several pizzas for our tables - along with our usual chocolate soda drinks. Haven't had dinner inside the Gaslight for several years - the pizza was very good ! The Gaslight is always a fun time and the food is good also !

Yelp
We always have such a wonderful time here! The staff, the entertainment, the costumes, the props! The musicians!! All are so wonderful. We just saw Elf'd tonight and it's such a great Christmas show! Really gets you into the spirit Food and drink orders taken at your table. A great Gaslight newspaper left for each guest and popcorn! Worth the visit!!

Yelp
Took a weekend drive up to Tucson from Texas. My wife and I had never been to a live show together and decided to give this "2 Gun McGraw" a try. The show was a hoot! Great actors, set, music and theater. We are so glad we went and are now planning another trip but this time with our 5 kids to enjoy either Robin Hood or Harry Porter.

Yelp
An awesome gem in Tucson! We attended their 3/22/2022 showing of "Arizona Smith" and had a lot of fun - it was a perfect mid-week date night. We arrived 15m early and were immediately taken to our table where popcorn was waiting. Looked over the menu and decided on a medium thin-crust pizza and (2) drinks. Drinks came out within 5-10mins, and the pizza ~5-10 after that. Pretty quick considering how many people were ordering food and drinks! On to the show: it had the right amount of drama vs musical vs quirkiness vs audience-participation.. they really did a great job with this one, and I wish "Arizona Smith" was showing longer, but look forward to taking other people here for their upcoming "Three Musketeers" because I bet it's going to be great entertainment. Tip: do you like ice cream? If so, make sure you let them know if you are traveling from out of town OR having a birthday/anniversary when you purchase your tickets - you'll get free ice cream and it looks damn good!

Yelp
By far one of the best shows I've seen. The actors were incredibly amazing, audience interaction was so much fun, and the musicians were super talented. The food was great (and really enjoyed the adult milkshakes--so yummy!). All of the employees were super nice. Establishment was very clean and not a bad seat in the house! I am telling everyone I know to go see a show here!
google avatar

Kymberlee S.

Yelp
We love the gaslight theater. Every winter when we come to Tucson we always try to catch one or two of the productions. It's amazing the kind of entertainment they fit in this little teeny theater on this little teeny stage always entertaining. We always get a good laugh!! This place has never disappointed us with their entertainment!! I recommend anybody coming to Tucson for the first time you gotta check it out. Too much fun!!!
google avatar

Yelp
5 Stars. Great entrainment for the family. Very creative scraping poking fun. Need to book in advance as the shows sell out fast. Really had an enjoyable time with the family. The presenters are all well rehearsed and there are some "on the fly" jokes. They are all well coordinated. For those who are reading this review, I assure you it's an experience not to be missed.

Lawrence J.

Yelp
I have enjoyed several of their shows. They are funny, a little campy and make for an enjoyable evening.
google avatar

Yelp
The show was fun, and I enjoyed the diner food before-hand also. I saw the Henry Porter show and it was great. Good clean family fun.

Yelp
I can't believe I have lived here my whole life and just recently had the chance to visit the Gaslight Theatre! I had such a great time! The drinks and food were yummy and staff was on top of it even while handling so many other tables. The performance was so entertaining and funny. It was so fun and I can't wait to come back and catch another show. This is family friendly which is nice and is also great for a date night or friends night out. Definitely recommend!

Yelp
Very light hearted good ol wholesome family fun! Anybody who's anybody will LOVE it here!!! :) We saw Space Trek this time & the show itself was hilarious as always & the Gaslight band was so awesome!! The only reason I gave it a 4 this time was because our server was really slow! I think she only came around once compared to others that we saw coming around way more! Usually they bring around unlimited free popcorn & this time we had to flag someone down for one refill. We had to ask 3 times for my husbands drink refill & when they finally came it was just that one time, never saw anyone again til it was time for the bill. But, again, I had a nice time show was fun would definitely still go back just maybe not during the 8:30 show. **UPDATE 2/12/2020** This show was Showdown in Tucson a western comedy all about Tucson! Hilarious as usual!! And the Oleo is excellent! Another MUST SEE!

Dan-Diana C.

Yelp
This was a fun evening experience! Not sure what we expected, but we visit again and enjoy another show!

David T.

Yelp
We were in town visiting family who made arrangements for us to go to the theater- I had no idea what to expect. Ended up being a welcome surprise to see the clever set designs, the funny writing and entertaining acting. The staff did a great job keeping up with any drink orders and getting food out quickly. We will definitely go back next time we are in town and highly recommend the Gaslight Theater.

Yelp
Gaslight theatre is a cherished gem in Tucson! Small but so amazing! I always have a great time and leave with a big smile on my face with my cheeks hurting. Family friendly place to go and have a great laugh! I've been coming here for over 10 years and will always return! Fabulous!
google avatar

Denise K.

Yelp
We go to Gaslight shows often, tho, not as often as we'd like..... next year, we're getting year round tickets! We ALWAYS have a blast and can't wait till the next show. The actors/actresses are so awesome & funny and we could NEVER GET ENOUGH of the band!!!! No matter which crew it is - they ROCK.... or swing, or country, or jazz.... you get it! We usually order some sorta food whether it be pizza, chicken fingers or ice cream. But I truly want to YELP about our server. She was the best server we've ever had there! She was right on target with everything she did, even down to making sure my water cup was never empty & I'm one of those jerks that drink a lot of water. If I actually could, I'd make sure I got her section EVERY-TIME we go. Thanks for being fabulous Taylor G....

Yelp
I have lived in Tucson for 7 years and keep hearing about Gaslight but have never gone. What a waste of 7 years! Our whole family went. Age ranges 3-53. We all had a blast. The adults enjoyed the show and food as much as the kids and grandkids. It was exceptionally entertaining and I encourage everyone to go. We will definitely be going again.
google avatar

Zachary R.

Yelp
The Gaslight Theatre has been around since before me and I'm sure they are gonna be around for a lot longer! I always recommend this business to family and friends! Really awesome place and if you haven't been than I highly recommend you go! The shows change throughout the year and they aren't terribly expensive either. I have been going to shows at the Gaslight since I was little and even well into adulthood I still find the shows to be thoroughly entertaining. All of the actors in the shows do a great job and the band is always on point. The shows generally seem to include light comedy and lots of music, singing and dancing.

Kimberly M.

Yelp
Great time! Memorable show, entertainment for the whole family! Comedy that's lighthearted and age appropriate, they make their job look easy! I would definitely go again!
google avatar

Lisa M.

Yelp
You must go to Gaslight if you're in Tucson. These shows are hilarious! Like an SNL musical. I highly recommend- great music and talent!
