this is our favorite let’s grab a quick beer joint. We love Lisa at the bourbon bar even though we always only get beer. She always takes good care of us and then a lot of times we’ll go next-door to the liquor store and get some new bourbon. It’s always fun to taste some of what they’ve got up on the counter. This is a great little neighborhood bar kind of diver, but that’s how we like ‘em.

Wanted to try a new place in the area and this place did not disappoint. To start off we walked out to an awesome outdoor patio filled with unique decorations. Then we were met by the wonderful bartender. He said he had been working there for over 15 years. You could tell this place was special because it was pretty packed for a Wednesday night. The drinks were good and the food was solid too. Definitely recommend the Cuban sandwich . Will definitely be back soon!

We love coming here for a date night as it has several options no matter the mood. There's live music and dancing (if you want) on the patio. There's pool, darts, and indoor shuffleboard in the sports bar. There's karaoke and tables to eat at in the karaoke bar. The food is always hot and tasty. My favorite is the Cuban, and my husband loves the wings.

Cute little pirate bar with plenty of outdoor seating. There's even a full bar outside. Service was awesome! Food was delicious. Menu was perfect size, not too many options but enough to find what you are craving. VERY dog friendly! Almost everyone seated outside had their fur baby with them! Definitely recommend and will definitely be back!

I’ve been a regular customer at Gaspar’s Patio & Grille for over three years, usually coming with my coworkers from the Hard Rock kitchen. Unfortunately, what happened this past Sunday night was the last straw for me. It’s not the first time I’ve noticed inconsistencies on my bill—extra drinks added that I didn’t order or quantities that didn’t match what I actually had. In the past, I chose to ignore it, thinking it might have been a mistake. But this time, it was blatant. I ordered four espresso martinis over the course of the evening—nothing else. I was completely sober, fully aware, and even drove home afterward. When I received the bill, I saw several drinks I never ordered. I brought it up with the server (a short, heavy-set young woman with long blonde hair in a blue T-shirt), and she said she’d correct it. She came back with a “corrected” check that still had extra cocktails and different drinks altogether. This is no longer something I can ignore. If I see this kind of dishonest behavior again, I will report it to the authorities. It’s starting to feel like a targeted scam, perhaps because I often spend generously and wear visible jewelry or carry a designer bag. Whatever the reason, this is unacceptable. Let this serve as a warning: always check your bill carefully at this place. Enough is enough.

Great liquor store. Knowledgeable staff. I learned about this place through a YouTube video and had to stop by. The store clerk (I wish i could remember his name) was excellent he had great customer skills and a sense of humor that my two friends and I enjoyed. I wish I lived near here so I could go more. As for the restaurant we went for oysters and they didn't have any so we enjoyed a beer or two and left, the regulars were in the bar area and offered to take our picture which was nice. Overall 10 out of 10 experience thanks to everyone see you next time!

Great food, drinks, & they serve the “GOAT” Bloody Marys, (well at least when Blu makes them 🤗)!!!

It was love at first sight when I entered Gaspar's. What an amazing bar and grill. They have a back room dedicated to The NY Jets during football season. I was able to experience it on Sunday versus the Seahawks so excited so many cool New Yorkers there. The staff was super friendly. I ordered a Cuban sandwich which I highly recommend. Can't wait to come back.

We stumbled upon this place as we live on the other side of the bay. We sat at the bar and it was amazing!!! The staff were so friendly and fun to talk to - the service was super fast.. Sam and Natalie - SHOUT OUT!!

This place has fallen off hard. It used to be a solid spot, but now it's a mess. The management clearly doesn't care, and the bartenders all act like they'd rather be anywhere else. Miserable attitudes all around -- not worth your time or money anymore.

Frequent customer. Been dining, singing and spending happy hour there for more than 20 years. On Friday, Dec. 20, I experienced something I've never encountered before. We arrived at 7pm. It was a party of five. Three adults and two kids. We sat on the karaoke side at a table for dinner. Our server told us her name was Maya. The check says Brittany. When we sat down Maya asked for a credit card to start a tab. The fuck? We're not at the bar. We didn't order any alcohol. Two drank sodas and three had water. We're not outside with the band. We're inside with maybe five other customers and before we can order our food we have to put a card on file for a tab. Two other adults ultimately joined our group. I guess they were added to our tab since they weren't asked for a card to put on file. The entire situation was awkward and I was personally offended. Again, I've been patronizing Gaspars for 20+ years and never experienced this. I've brought many newcomers to the venue over the years (as I did that night), but am not sure if I'll do this again after my Dec. 20 experience.

Nice variety of food and drinks are available. We like to sit outside on the patio and listen to live music. If you are into table games, go inside. You will find pool tables, dart boards and shuffleboard tables. The servers are always very attentive and constantly come and check to see if you need anything else. Don't forget to stop in the amazing liquor store. It is a work of art. Plus, it has a fantastic selection of beer, wine, and alcohol.

Good food & atmosphere. The staff is very friendly & concerned about the individuals satisfaction.

Food is great . Service is very good. All you want especially bar drinks, liquor store, Pool tables, sports , music, outdoor with animals can go.

It's a bar! We sat outside because we brought our pup. They had pup burgers that they chop up and Max devoured. The food was yummy and the service from Natalie was excellent. The only reason for the four stars is because they allow smoking at the outside/under cover bar...FL needs to step up and get inline with "no smoking" in restaurants/bars!

The wings with 911 sauces, extra wet, extra crispy were amazing. By far my favorite wings in Tampa and I drive here only for these!

This is a good local bar! The drinks are not bad priced and the staff is on point and nice! Met up some friends since I'm not from this side of the state and so glad they picked this place. They have pool tables darts and games all over the place. This is a great place to hit up with some friends, or just to meet up locals and have a great night!

The food was ok Ordered dry wings and tator tots. It was ok nothing to really talk about Service was great nothing that's wowed me It was clean great place to watch any type of sports or play pool

These bartenders are absolutely clueless--slow, rude, and clearly don't care about doing their jobs right. Worst bar experience ever.

This place was pretty cool & big . I'm upset that I lived in the area prior to coming here & didn't know this place was here . Came here for my husbands kickball gathering . The old fashion I had was pretty typical . My club sandwich was good along with the fries . Ohhhh but my husbands Buffalo Chicken flatbread ! A MUST TRYYYY ! It was freakin delicious . I will definitely be coming back to get that next time .

Came in on a rainy Monday evening and found a breezy (lots of fans) dry (it was a rainy Monday) table on the patio for a late impromptu dinner. We were greated promptly and put out order in for drinks while we mulled over the smallish menu. I don't usually opt for bar food but it was late and Yelp pulled this restaurant as having an open kitchen still. Food came out quickly and hot. Our server seemed to be the only one working the patio but she kept it moving and checked in on us adequately. I attached a photo of the menu, a bit more options than standard bar fare. Beers were affordable and good enough selection for everyone to find something. Not sure when I'll be on this side of town looking for late night eats again but not a bad choice if you're looking for somewhere :)

Locally owned. Very tasty burgers. Also a great selection of beers and bourbons. Try their liquor store right next to the bar.

Over priced. If you order a beer, they charge you tax on it. Petty. Food is hit and miss. Service is hit and miss. If you have money to burn, go to the casino! Better all around.

Had a great time here for a liquid lunch break. Wings are fabulous. Friendly bartenders and staff. Fun atmosphere with pirate theme, and a wonderful outdoor area.

The short: Awesome bar close to Busch Gardens with an AMAZING selection of bourbon and tasty bar food. Give it a shot when you're in the area. The Long: It was an evening after the park and we were looking for a spot to grab some late night drinks and grub. After a little bit of Yelping, this spot came up. Now this place is a little unique cause it is 3 different bars in one that are all connected which also has a full liquor store attached. A quick ID check in the front and we were in. The inside is very clean and welcoming. The bar had a wide selection of bourbons with some rare selection as well. Bartender was nice and attentive. Grabbed some drinks and went to the patio bar where there was a band playing. Had another round of drinks out there and then went to the third spot which was doing karaoke. This is where we stayed most of the night and ended up ordering some food. We ordered loaded nachos, tater tots and wings...all delicious! On top of that, their prices are very reasonable on both the drinks and food. Did a couple songs on stage and ended the night. As a side note, the food was available till 2:15 on this particular Friday night. We really enjoyed this bar and will definitely be back when we are up in the area. Good food, good drinks, good atmosphere gets 5 stars from me. Keep up the great work!

Gaspar's review time!! I love this place. They are like 4 different places all in one building. Hit up the inside and karaoke will make your brain hurt, numbered paper bags cover the super cheap mystery shots, careful you may get a mouthful of Sambuca! The staff inside is great, it has a cool aesthetic, and who doesn't love low ceilings to make the vertically challenged feel tall?!? Through the port hole door, and you hit the Patio. Misting fans, smoking and usually a small band of some sort is on tap, as well as craft beers, cocktails, wine, and open spaces; some tables have umbrellas. Some have a roof over them! Next port hole door, and wait what dimension am I in?!? A bourbon bar which stands alone in it's vibe. Pool table, tv's, carpet, other stuff I was too drunk to notice. Mostly because their bourbon selection is vast, not whiskey cake caliber but better than most bars. Continue out the next port hole, and you're suddenly outside the Liquor store, with drink in hand. Yes you can drink inside the liquor store!!! Wait what?!? Browse the fire water at your leisure while sipping your own libation. I love it! They have samples usually on the counter and you can taste away before you buy. So cool. Do yourself a favor and swing by Gaspar's once in your life. It's definitely a unicorn in a town full of Jackasses.

Well, it's your typical crappy dive bar. The staff working there is miserable. They all have a chip on their shoulder. The food is mediocre (frozen and reheated). The one decent thing is reasonably priced drinks. I was there last night trying to enjoy a drink and chat with some friends on the patio. As I'm sitting there and having a chat one of the bartenders (girl with a bad attitude) comes up to me and condescendingly tells me to stop hitting my cannabis vape pen "inside" (we were on the patio but whatever). I stopped smoking it and I just was holding it in my hand. About 5 minutes passes and the same bartender comes up to me and starts yelling at my to leave because I was holding my vape pen. She says "you're not cute" like wtf? Needless to say I wont be back. I've spent hundreds of dollars at this crap hole of a bar and this is how they treat their guests. Kicking them out for literally nothing! Didn't realize Gaspar was such a Karen...

Second time going to the Gaspar patio and still love it . The food is good ,the staff great and the patio very spacious. They had a singer last night on the patio , with football game playing on TVs outside. The Cuban is delicious,the oysters very good .

Dunno how I overlooked writing a review of a bar I go to all the time, but here it is. This place is a great hangout. Divided into 3 sections. Two large indoor bars and a great outdoor bar located in between. The Bourbon Bar features just that plus pool tables and comfy seating. The other indoor bar features karaoke. The courtyard, my favorite, features live music about 5 nights a week, including every weekend. ( Full disclosure: I am a musician who performs here monthy). The food is great. Kind of a slant on seafood maybe, a lot of it fried, but delicious. Hey it's ok to be bad. Drinks are on point. They have a very full rail of craft beer. Restrooms are ample and clean. Plenty of parking front and back. The real kicker is the liquor store. It's stocked with stuff you just can't find elsewhere. And it is so clean and cool. Just go and check it out. It will all become your new home away from home.

Was wonderful! We took our two dogs out for Lunch and found this restaurant on BRING FIDO APP. Nice staff. Great outdoor space. Strongly recommend this place. We and our dogs loved our visit.

They don't deserve 1 star. The food was bad.. the service behind the bar was worse. When you order a quesadilla with steak cheese an get a flour tortilla half empty wit two maybe three pieces of chicken and no extra cheese. What do you say. We kept eating thinking it will improve and it doesn't... finally calling the manager and her reply was .." If you hadn't eaten it I could do something. But since you ate most of it I can't do anything". DO NOT GO HERE

Fun spot! Live music! Lots of seating options. Inside they had karaoke! I ordered a Moscow Mule. It was very good! Loved that it came in a copper mug!

Lived in Temple Terrace for many years but somehow never ate here. We were looking for a place to eat outside and bring the dogs, this place fit the bill. I had fried shrimp and my husband had a patty melt. Both were very good. I also had an excellent cocktail. We will be back! Pooch friendly and great food is a perfect combination for lunch.

Gaspar's has Gone Down Hill Bad. Been going there for over 2yrs. Last 2 visits Were Straight Garbage Experience and the Last One A Straight Rip-Off. $141 From the Outside Bar help on 12\15\2023. Me and my Date went and had 4 shots of alcohol at (9.99) each 4 Beers at (6.00) and 20 wings (25) and Grilled cheese at (10). Which is $100. So she asked if cash or charge I say Charge. I tip 20% so $120 should be Max. I check my Card Account and it shows $141. So WTF??????? Really...... Needs -000000 stars. Somebody Owes Me $20

The reason we came here was to grab a few drinks and play some darts. Unfortunately, there are no throw lines for the soft-tip dart boards and the boards needed to be de-tipped (?). Not really sure what the correct word is for that as we are more familiar with steel-tip darts. They also have a couple pool tables which is nice. But what really sold this place on me is the massive varieties of Bourbons and other Whiskeys. Unfortunately, they did not have my favorite bourbon in stock. But I don't blame them for that. I can't find it anywhere! This visit we didn't try any of the food, but the menu looked good and we plan on going back. My fiance ordered a few of the cocktails and she was a huge fan of the peanut butter cup cocktail.

WORST SERVICE EVER!!!!! Stopped here for the first time around 4:15 pm on a Monday with my wife, son and girlfriend after a day at Busch Gardens. Quickly grabbed a table and waited. The waitress kept saying we will be with you soon. After waiting 30 minutes, a waiter (different person) arrived, took our drink and food orders. We waited another 15 minutes with no drinks and no food as we watched other patrons at the bar and tables served drinks. Our total time at the place was 47 minutes, at which time we made the decision to walk out with no drinks or food consumed. The establishment missed out on four meals and four adults drinking, with an estimated tab to be $130. I have never given a one star rating but when I can't get a drink or food service in 47 minutes one star is one star is way too high.

Gaspar's is complicated. You have your indoor bar, your outdoor bar, your whisky bar, your karaoke, your pool tables, your liquor store, your craft beer growler refill station, and your restaurant. You have your indoor servers who socialize with each other so much that you begin to think they're purposefully ignoring you, and your outdoor barkeep who sees you coming and greets you as you're sitting down and brings your beers right on time. You have your perfectly cooked fish nuggets and tater tots and then you have your dozen raw oysters that once tasted like they'd been sitting in mop water. For a day or two. That was only once though. You have your multiple free samples of bourbon in the liquor store and you have that one time when there was a gigantic dog in the middle of the floor and you had to practically climb over a table to get around it without stepping on it. That was only once though. I sang my first karaoke here, and the liquor store is one of the nicest in the area especially since the prices are reasonable. And there's a big old freezing cold beer cooler in the back with all kinds of craft beer and a growler filling station. I guess I've really grown quite fond of this quirky, complicated place. Besides, if the server girl inside ignores me, I can just go outside. Gaspar's for me is a case of "give them another chance, it might have just been a fluke that one time."

Fried shrimp and fried fish bites are a must. Their wings are amazing also!! Service is fast, especially for one or two people handling the whole patio by themselves. Great atmosphere to sit and chill.

A little pricey but it keeps out the riff raff. Great selection of whiskey and bourbon. Love the pool tables, darts, and table shuffleboard. Indoor and outdoor seating. Wish there was outdoor nonsmoking area though.

So I went to gaspar's to get a quick bite to eat whatnot 10 wings and fries it came to 17 and some change which was a little high because I figured that they would offer a wing and Fry Basket. But it was okay because the wings and the fries came out pretty quick but as soon as I got my wings and fries my waitress I guess clocked out because she was sitting at the bar with her book bag on as if she was about to leave I tipped her before I got my food and paid before I got my food because why not? I ran out of soda pretty early and I couldn't find the ketchup because it was not on the table and I looked around the bar and couldn't find it LOL because my waitress was at the bar ready to go home she didn't come back to ask if I needed anything or nothing I don't understand... I always thought the waitress was supposed to stay there until her last customer left... It's crazy

In town for a concert we Uber'd up. Parking lot was slammed and we were not optimistic about getting a seat. Well, this place is HUGE. We walked into the large side bar and took a seat right away. A couple of birthday parties were taking place. For a Friday night they did it right. The bartenders did a nice job of getting our drinks quickly. The male bartender never stopped and I hope he gets paid accordingly. Nice ambience. Decent prices. Live music on the patio which is also huge with tvs. Family friendly with tvs on the patio. Is attached to their liquor store which likely helps their liquor choices inside the restaurant/bar. We had a great time. Really enjoyed the decor. We would return when in the area.

My new go-to. I avoided this place due to the Yelp Pizza pic of Sysco type frozen pizza. My new: 6 raw oysters, 6 blackened shrimp, onion rings, Big Storm Shandy (Tampa). Incense at the bar, Taylor the bar maiden and Tali's Hollywood Eyelashes! Where's my Norm chair?

If you're looking for good drinks and a friendly bar setting, you should venture here! I love Gaspar's and have been here several times. The bartenders and waiters are extremely friendly and attentive. The food menu is not very extensive, but includes your staples such as wings, nachos, fried things, etc. Beer prices are very good, as are the selections on tap for those craft beer snobs. They have domestics as well as local craft beers for decent prices ($2.75-$6 per pint). Pitchers are also well priced. If you like karaoke, this is a great place to show off your singing voice! They have karaoke every night beginning at 9pm! Great atmostphere. I'd highly recommend!

Awful food and service. Waitress needs to be more professional! The food was horrible and service even worse. Not worth the price

This bar is so fun, great rooms, environment and drinks! Love going for the karaoke, pool and darts! The vibe is great! However, there is this one member of staff, I am not sure if she is a bar manager or what, but she's EXTREMELY RUDE. Greets you with an attitude, has major RBF, and even sucks her teeth at you when speaking to you, like she just HATES her job. I get it, sometimes it can be hard but if you hate your job that much just leave. She ruins the mood and the fun of the place and her mood sucks. Someone needs to give her a crash course in professionalism (especially if she's a manager!) & customer service because she has NONE. Overall though, besides her, I'll keep going back. Just will choose not to interact with her.

One of the female bartenders is absolutely rude. I've only been to this establishment twice and both times she was down right as rude as could be to the pool players. She acted as though we were not paying customers, all my teammates tip very well. I used to bartend. I know what the job entails. Maybe the problem is, is that it's family ran, get rid of her and you'll have more stars, she isn't cut out for speaking to people. The bar itself is pretty nice, wish I could have had the opportunity to try the food.

Pretty chill bar for the most part. There are multiple sections in the bar for different things like karaoke, pool, main bar, etc. I did really enjoy their buffalo wings, they were very juicy and flavorful. Loved the hospitality from the workers, other waiters who weren't waiting our table would even stop by to make sure we had everything we needed.

The food is actually not bad, but the service is quite literally the worst you will ever experience in your life. By far, THE worst service I have ever experienced. That's all.

You've come a long way baby. This is the type of Florida spot that brings me back to my youth. Multiple doorways/areas all leading back into each other somehow. The liquor store that was once just blunts and booze is now adjacent to the equally fancy bourbon bar. I'm excited to see it in 10 years when it starts to look more like Skippers.

Where do I even beging about this place? Most of the food is of the frozen variety, the oysters are not gulf oysters but oysters shipped in frozen and thawed at the location. You can taste the freezer burn. The grouper is from China, and probably not grouper. They won't tell you that on the menu though. Fake varieties of fish coming from China is a big deal, and these guys blatantly either don't care, or they are trying to pull the wool over your eyes. The bloody Mary is sad. Most of the beers I had tasted skunked.. Management could maybe tighten the reigns on their staff, to make a consistent drinking/dining experience. The staff and the service are okay at times, but usually slow and seemingly annoyed that you are there. Drink prices are on par with other bars in the area, if not a little more expensive. They have a decent room for playing pool. The live musicians they bring in are terrible. I'd like to give more stars, but the three points about the food above are unforgivable If you want cheap food that actually tastes good, try the bar down the street that has the same name as a sub sandwich place.

I am a local and I have been to their liquor shop many times and have always wanted to try out their bar. This review is mostly based off of my personal experience and my first time going to this place inside. I went with my boyfriend for the first time and met two friends there. My boyfriend and I had the chips and salsa (I would recommend) and he had a beer. When closing out our tab we notice an extra beer was added to our tab. We had never offered to pay for anyone else's tab and we didn't mind trying to sort it out with our friend because we realized it was their beer added to our tab. But when we brought it up to the bartender they just looked at us and said, "Well I guess your friend owes you 'x' dollars" They didn't want to change anything or take it off and they charged our card. I just felt they were very rude about it. It truly ruined my experience. I love their liquor shop but as a person I don't like being treated like that.

Had so much fun at this event, first visit, came just for the entertainment but really enjoyed the atmosphere. This place is huge, different bands in different sections, parking was scarce, we ended up parking on the street. Servers were friendly and attentive. Beers on tap were around $6 each- we had French fries and flatbread pizza, pizza was really good, great flavor. Apparently the place has been around since 1960 and owned by the same family. Has that feel to it, almost like being in a barn, in a good way. There was something off with the flat tire tap, beer was off, and take out containers were styrofoam - have to take points off for that. Otherwise - will be back and highly recommend.

First dates can be awkward but less awkward when you include mimosas and beer to keep you calm. Being new to Tampa , i wanted the full downtown experience and this was the first stop. Dive like but still local and fun. Beer selection was on point had too stick with local Florida beer for full effect. Nice 70° day to enjoy good company and good shrimp and grits and chicken and waffles were good and not too filling for the day of walking and drinking ahead. Service was fast and precise . Def a fun place to go had i been during playoff time.
