The food was stellar! The staff was welcoming! The decor is a mix of old and new combined with smart, and sleek style! The feeling is this restaurant is of style, but home like total comfort. I can hardly wait to sit on the patio in the summer and see the amazing views! One of thr coolest touches, you can observe the chefs at work as you walk to entrance- Amazing!

Fantastic service, very kind owners. The food was excellent and the room very clean. We had our dog with us and we were not charged extra for him. I'd go back gladly. Oh, and the village is beautiful.

Out of the way beautiful gasthaus and resturant. My 3rd time there excellent experience every time. Makes my tummy very happy and the bier (dunkel/ pils / hellis / radler) went sown smooth. Great ambience - a perfect place for a large crowd function, kid friendly.

Das war einen schoenen Aufenthalt. Frau Hummel happens to be the nicest host that I have ever come across in my long travelling life! The guesthouse itself is located in the sleepy village of Duggendorf, an ethereal sight amidst lush green nature, an hour by bus from Regensburg central (20 minutes by train from Regensburg central station). Due to the somewhat challenging commute to abd from Regensburg, our wonderful host absolutely insisted that she be allowed to drop us to (and from) the local train station at Laaber, or the nearest bus station (Wischenhofen), the former some 7 km from the guesthouse! She took affront the first time we chose to walk in from the bus stop!! To top this all, the dear Frau Hummel is an outstanding cook. Can't say e tough how happy and grateful we are with our stay and the host. I happily according give hundred stars for our stay.😁
